‘Maximum Vigilance’: France Orders Stricter Security at Christmas Markets to ‘Thwart Terrorist Threat’

France’s interior minister instructed regional governments to boost security at Christmas markets against terrorist attacks, permitting the deployment of soldiers for a “visible deterrent” if necessary.

The French government has ordered “maximum vigilance” at seasonal Christmas markets in the country, a precaution after years of the events being targeted by predominantly Mohammedan fundamentalists. While markets in Germany have been the main focus for terror attacks to date, France has seen more than its share of deadly mass-casualty terror attacks, including the 2016 Nice Attack when a cargo truck was driven through crowds on Bastile Day, a modus operandi shared with previous Christmas market attacks.

France’s Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez issued a directive to regional Prefects ordering them to “strengthen security measures” because of “very high level of terrorist threat”, reports FranceInfo. He called for the “full mobilization of intelligence services in the detection, prevention, and, if necessary, thwarting of terrorist threats” which would include “a visible and deterrent presence of [police] and, where necessary, soldiers”.

Prefects were told to consider the security picture for all events “likely to bring together a large number of participants”. (Read more from “‘Maximum Vigilance’: France Orders Stricter Security at Christmas Markets to ‘Thwart Terrorist Threat’” HERE)

France Will Recognize ‘Palestinian State’; Israel Slaps Back

French President Emmanuel Macron surrendered to the pressures of Islamist and anti-Israel forces on Thursday, announcing that he would recognize the fictitious “State of Palestine” in September.

Macron’s decision is a significant break with the United States, and drew accusations from Israel of supporting terrorism.

One Israeli government minister, Amichai Chikli, who used to live in France, responded by posting a video of Macron being slapped by his wife.

Other responses were fast and furious, including from former Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, who accused France of “moral collapse”:

WATCH: French President Shoved by Wife in Shocking Scuffle Caught on Camera

By TMZ. President Emmanuel Macron waved off the face shove his wife gave him earlier with a statement to reporters saying, “We are bickering and joking with my wife and a video becomes a sort of geoplanetary catastrophe,” Macron says.

French President Macron Shoved by Wife Brigitte in Shocking Scuffle Caught on Camera

By Page Six. Brigitte Macron, the first lady of France, was seen shoving her husband, President Emmanuel Macron, in a shocking video that has since gone viral.

The moment was captured on camera Sunday evening when the couple was landing in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, for a state visit. . .

A source close to Macron also downplayed the matter to the Agence France-Presse, a French international news agency headquartered in Paris.

“It was a moment when the president and his wife were decompressing one last time before the start of the trip by joking around,” the insider told the outlet.

“It’s a moment of togetherness. No more was needed to feed the mills of the conspiracy theorists.”

The Macrons have been married since 2007. However, their relationship has been heavily scrutinized due to Brigitte meeting the president when he was only 15 while she was his drama teacher. (Read more from “French President Macron Shoved by Wife Brigitte in Shocking Scuffle Caught on Camera” HERE)

Leftists Cry ‘Islamophobia’ as France Looks to Ban Veiling of Girls Over Muslim Brotherhood Sharia Plot

French President Emmanuel Macron’s political party has called for a ban on young girls wearing Islamic veils in public and a new law against “Islamist entryism” after a bombshell government report found that the Muslim Brotherhood has waged a multi-generational campaign to infiltrate institutions and control Islamic communities in service of instituing Sharia law to the West.

Former French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, who leads President Macron’s Renaissance party in the National Assembly, proposed on Wednesday that the ban on wearing veils in public be extended to girls under the age of 15. France became the first European country to impose such a ban for adults in 2011.

However, Attal argued that the government must go further in the wake of the publication of a government report, which found that the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood has sought for at least seven decades to subvert France and other European nations through clandestinely entering institutions and taking control over various facets of Muslim communities to promote Sharia practices to Islamise the West.

According to the report, the movement has seized upon supposed social justice campaigns through its various Muslim association proxies against “Islamophobia” — a term coined by the Muslim Brotherhood — and the veil ban to create a veneer of legitimacy in public discourse and to rally Muslim communities to their cause.

Meanwhile, local arms of the Brotherhood, in which trained Islamist activists are installed as managers at community shops, sports groups, private education, financial services, dating sites and elsewhere, have been established to control all aspects of life within Islamic communities and enforce strict Muslim practices, such as forcing the veil on women and girls. UK, France to Craft Ukraine Peace Plan to Present to USA

UK Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer said ahead of a Lancaster House summit on Sunday that Britain and France will work to craft a Ukraine ceasefire deal that would be presented to the United States.

Echoing the language of former U.S. President George W. Bush, the Labour Party leader said that London and Paris will seek to build a “coalition of the willing” to enforce a peace in Ukraine.

The UK and France have already committed to sending troops into the former Eastern bloc nation to act as peacekeepers, but other European nations, notably Italy, Germany, and Poland, have so far shot down the idea.

“We’ve got to find those countries in Europe that are prepared to be a bit more forward-leaning,” Prime Minister Starmer said per The Telegraph.

“I’m not criticising anyone here, but rather than move at the pace of every single member, every single country in Europe, which would in the end be quite a slow pace, I do think we’ve got to probably get to a coalition of the willing now.” (Read more from “UK, France to Craft Ukraine Peace Plan to Present to USA” HERE)

French Government Collapses as Le Pen Joins Leftist Bloc to Oust Globalist PM Over ‘Technocratic’ Budget

The government of France has fallen for the second time this year, as a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Michel Barnier was passed by the National Assembly on Wednesday, giving the former Eurocrat the ignominious distinction of being the shortest tenured prime minister in modern French history.

Just 91 days after being installed in the Hôtel Matignon by President Macron, Michel Barnier saw his government collapse on Wednesday, as Marine Le Pen’s populist National Rally (RN) party joined onto a censure motion to dethrone the government launched by the left-wing New Popular Front (NFP) bloc, Le Figaro reports.

While Le Pen and her faction gave Barnier’s government benefit of the doubt support following July’s snap legislative elections, in which the National Assembly was left in a three-way split between the leftist NFP, the National Rally, and neo-liberal Macronists, Prime Minister Barnier’s move on Monday to invoke a constitutional loophole in an attempt to push through effective cuts to social security payments to seniors without a vote in the parliament, saw Le Pen revoke her support from the government and announce her support for the NFP’s no confidence vote.

The motion passed the National Assembly on Wednesday as 331 MPs voted in favour of collapsing the government, far surpassing the 289 needed to pass. It marks the first time since 1962 that a government in Paris was ousted by parliamentary vote. Having only served 91 days in the post, former Eurocrat and top Brexit villain Barnier now owns the title for the least time spent as prime minister, behind Pierre Bérégovoy at 362 days, Maurice Couve de Murville at 345 days, Edith Cresson at 322 days, former Macron PM Gabriel Attal whose reign ended at 240 days earlier this year, and Bernard Cazeneuve at 161 days. Authorities Search For Answers As Country’s Classic Churches Keep Burning Down

The Church of the Immaculate Conception went up in flames Monday in yet another instance of a French church burning to the ground, leading to speculations on the origins of their destruction.

The church burnings highlight the tensions brewing in France’s secular and multicultural country, and its immigration policies have come under increased scrutiny. Weak church structures, bias against Christians and mass immigration have all been brought up as potential factors in the onslaught of church burnings.

The church of the Immaculate Conception was nestled in the northern French town of Saint-Omer, and its bell tower collapsed from the fire. Prosecutors announced Tuesday that police arrested a man in relation to the incident, LeMonde reported.

A Saint-Omer prosecutor told Agence France-Press the man was known for previously committing “similar acts.”

France’s Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin stated in a Twitter post Monday that an investigation was underway to “determine the exact origin of the fire.” (Read more from “Authorities Search For Answers As Country’s Classic Churches Keep Burning Down” HERE)

Telegram’s CEO Charged in France, Banned From Leaving Territory

Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov was charged by French prosecutors for the alleged illegal use of his platform on Wednesday.

France’s Tribunal Judiciare De Paris announced Durov’s 12 charges pertaining to Telegram’s moderation policies on Monday according to a press release. What a Sad Day for France

Riots erupted in France on Sunday after Prime Minister Gabriel Attal announced his resignation after election results revealed a far-left coalition was set to win a plurality of French parliamentary seats.

The results were a major upset for the conservative French who counted on Marine Le Pen’s National Rally to secure the win.

Footage showed thousands of protestors rummaging through the streets of Paris, setting fires and clashing with more than 30,000 police officers.

The New Popular Front (NFP) alliance is on course to have 172-215 MPs with Emmanuel Macron’s centrists on 150-180 seats and the RN on 115-155, according to projections by four leading polling firms. The party was formed last month, bringing together socialists, greens, communists and the hard-left into one camp – with the leader of the radical left, Jean-Luc Melenchon, vowing to implement several socialist policies, which critics fear will leave France ‘ungovernable’.
