Rev. Franklin Graham had a lot to say Wednesday to presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg over his numerous statements about the Christian faith.

Graham was specifically responding to the South Bend, Indiana, mayor’s comments about God not being on the side of any political party. . .

Buttigieg has used Christianity to criticize his political opponents as part of his presidential campaign, with Vice President Mike Pence as one of his favorite targets. The presidential frontrunner has tried to reframe Christianity to fit the policies of the Democratic party while questioning who is authentically Christian.

Franklin Graham: Media Do Not Want the Political Corruption to Change

Commenting on the “incredible” media bias this election year, evangelical Pastor Franklin Graham said the “corruption” in both political parties is “unbelieveable” and the media, “along with many politicians from both parties, doesn’t want any of this to change.”

“Isn’t the media bias incredible — especially relating to political candidates?” said Rev. Graham in an Oct. 24 post on Facebook. “Geraldo Rivera said last night that it’s like nothing he’s ever seen.”

“They spin story after story against the candidates they don’t like and in favor of the candidates they support,” he said. “I hope and pray that Christians are not deceived by the media’s bias, but will give prayerful consideration as they go to the polls and vote.”

“Our political system in this country is broken,” said Rev. Graham. “The corruption is in both parties and is unbelievable. The media, along with many politicians from both parties, doesn’t want any of this to change.”

“As I went to all 50 states this year and stood on the capitol steps with Christians from every state, we prayed and confessed our sins to God,” he said. “We asked His forgiveness and asked Him to heal this land. Franklin Graham Warns the Nation That a Price Will Be Paid for Celebrating Sin

Once again the Rev. Franklin Graham issued a warning to the United States based on the word of God.

Graham’s warning comes in the wake of news that Vice President Joe Biden performed a same-sex marriage.

The marriage, between White House staff members Brian Mosteller and Joe Mahshie, took place Monday afternoon at the Naval Observatory in Washington.

On Wednesday, Graham posted a message on Facebook post that began, “Another first for America that we should not be proud of — the vice president of the United States presiding over a same-sex wedding.”

Graham continued, saying that America has gained the reputation for celebrating what God defines as sin. He also promised that “there will be a price to pay.”

He quotes the Bible, Isaiah 1:4: “Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers … given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.”

“This is why I’m going to eight more state capitols this month to pray for our nation,” Graham said. He urged people to come to his prayer rallies or to pray for America wherever they are.

In order for the vice president to officiate at the wedding, it was necessary that he obtain a temporary license from the District of Columbia authorizing him to perform the ceremony.

Biden has been a supporter of same-sex marriage since endorsing it in 2012.

After Hearing Obama’s Decree, Franklin Graham Asks an Important Question

After learning of the Obama administration’s letter insisting public schools open their restrooms to transgender students based on gender identity, evangelist Franklin Graham was quick to post his response on Facebook.

In the post, Graham first addressed government overreach. “Who does President Barack Obama think he is? The sultan of Washington?” he asked. Graham went on to ask the question many across the country wish they could ask the president, writing, “What about the privacy and protection of all the other students? Isn’t this discrimination against all of them?” According to Graham, this decision will expose many students to sexual predators.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch released a statement commenting on the decree. “There is no room in our schools for discrimination of any kind, including discrimination against transgender students on the basis of their sex,” she said. Lynch said the decree would allow teachers as well as parents to safeguard transgender students from harassment from their peers, while uncovering unjust school policies.

“No student should ever have to go through the experience of feeling unwelcome at school or on a college campus. We must ensure that our young people know that whoever they are or wherever they come from, they have the opportunity to get a great education in an environment free from discrimination, harassment and violence,” said another statement from Education Secretary John King Jr.

Graham accused the president of making decisions without any thought of a higher power over him. “The president obviously must have no fear of God, who made us and created us male and female,” he wrote.

Graham ended his post urging school districts to defy the agenda set forth by the Obama administration.

Based on hundreds comments on Graham’s post, many agree with him.

One mother heartily agreed with Graham, commenting, “As the mother of a 15 year old girl, I have a real problem with a biological male having unfettered access to a locker room full of young women in a state of undress …. many [girls] have trouble even changing in front of their biologically female classmates. They have their own feelings and issues, and their rights are just as important. They aren’t somehow less deserving of consideration because their genitals match the gender they identify with.”

Franklin Graham on What Christians Must Do Before They Vote

Evangelist Franklin Graham is urging Christians to vote this election year, even if “it’s for the lesser of two evils.”

Graham spoke to a crowd on the steps of the capitol in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was the 24th stop, nearly the halfway mark of his 50-capitol Decision America Tour.

“I have no hope for the Democrat Party…I have no hope for the Republican Party,” Graham told the more than 3,000 people at the event, the Lincoln Journal Star reported. “The only hope for our nation today is Almighty God. The most important thing we can do as Christians is pray. It is our only hope.”

Graham says believers should vote for candidates who at least consider their concerns. He says bringing God back into politics is an absolute necessity.

Between 1,000 and 8,000 people have met Graham at each stop on the tour, whose purpose is to encourage Christians to pray and stand up for their faith. (Read more from “Franklin Graham on What Christians Must Do Before They Vote” HERE)

Franklin Graham: Charlotte, NC Passes Wicked, Filthy and Ludicrous Law Allowing Perverts Into Women’s Restrooms

A few hours before the Charlotte City Council’s vote on transgender access to public restrooms for the opposite sex, Franklin Graham posted this hard-hitting call to action on Facebook:

Tonight the Charlotte, NC, City Council is set to vote on an ordinance that allows people to use the public restroom of their choice regardless of their biological sex. It’s really hard to believe that such a ludicrous law would even be seriously considered—and even harder to believe that at least 8 of 11 council members have said they would vote for it! Are people just not thinking clearly? This law would allow pedophiles, perverts, and predators into women’s bathrooms. This is wicked and it’s filthy. To think that my granddaughters could go into a restroom and a man be in there exposing himself….what are we setting our children and grandchildren up for? There’s not a public restroom in Charlotte that would be safe!

It should be inconceivable that Charlotte’s mayor and the supporting City Council members have succumbed to the pressures from depraved sexual activists and are willing to put women and girls at risk like this. The ordinance was defeated last year, and the mayor shouldn’t have allowed it back on the table. Shame on her. This is why it is so important that Christians get involved in the political process across our country by running for office and by voting. What a difference it could make if we had more city council members and mayors who were willing to stand up for morality and biblical principles for our cities and communities. Less than 10% of voters turned out for the last Charlotte mayoral election—that’s just a shame, and look what’s happening as a result.

I hope Charlotte citizens will come out in droves this evening to gather at 4:45 in front of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Complex Building before the City Council meeting and let the council know without question that they overwhelmingly oppose this! And to the rest of the nation—more of these kinds of laws are coming, so be watching, be on guard, and fight against them.

Charlotte Passes Law Allowing Transgender People to Use the Opposite Sex’s Restrooms

By Tom Foreman Jr. and Jonathan Drew. North Carolina’s largest city passed a law Monday allowing transgender people to choose public bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity, which the governor had called a threat to public safety and warned that the General Assembly may step in.

The Charlotte City Council voted 7-4 to expand protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity, making it the latest frontier in a national debate on how businesses treat gay, lesbian and transgender customers. One of the revisions to the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance allows people to choose restrooms corresponding to the gender with which they identify.

Franklin Graham Is Urging All Parents in America to Defend Religious Freedom

The Rev. Franklin Graham is urging parents to vigilantly defend religious freedom after a Maryland public high school forced a 16-year-old student to take classes that promoted Islam over Christianity and acknowledge the Muslim prophet Mohammed as her spiritual leader.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, John Wood, a former Marine, and his wife Melissa Wood, recently filed a civil rights complaint against La Plata High School, alleging their daughter – identified only as C.W. – was forced to spend two weeks studying Islam in a modern history class. In turn, the class covered just one day of Christianity, and did not mention the Bible or the Ten Commandments.

Court documents reveal that as part of the class, the 11th grader “had to profess the Shahada by claiming “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.'”

Students were also required to memorize and recite the Five Pillars of Islam and were subjected to disparaging teachings about Christianity. The lawsuit claims that those who refused to engage in the course would receive a failing grade.

When John Wood, who served eight years in the Marine Corps and was deployed in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, attempted to confront the board regarding the class, he was reportedly escorted from school property. Franklin Graham Issues a Huge Warning to Christians – You Need to Read This

Last year, Franklin Graham joined James Dobson at an event in Colorado where the two warned against allowing gay people into churches because, according to Graham, they are representatives of “the Enemy” who wants to “devour our homes” and “devour this nation.”

On his radio program today, Dobson played excerpts from his discussion with Graham at the event, in which called for Christians to keep their kids away from gay people and to take over school boards across the nation in order to remove gay-friendly programs.

“We have allowed the Enemy to come into our churches,” Graham said. “I was talking to some Christians and they were talking about how they invited these gay children to come into their home and to come into the church and that they were wanting to influence them. And I thought to myself, they’re not going to influence those kids; those kids are going to influence those parent’s children.”

“What happens is we think we can fight by smiling and being real nice and loving,” he continued. “We have to understand who the Enemy is and what he wants to do. He wants to devour our homes. He wants to devour this nation and we have to be so careful who we let our kids hang out with. We have to be so careful who we let into the churches. Franklin Graham’s Decision America Tour: Doomed to Failure?

In April of 2015, Franklin Graham began publicizing his Decision America Tour, an aggressive effort to activate the faith community in all 50 states. His stated goals are to pray for the United States and to encourage citizens to vote specifically for candidates who align with a Judeo-Christian worldview. He is also using the tour to persuade Christians to run for public office at all levels, but he has made it clear he will not endorse any political candidates this cycle. He also recently withdrew from the GOP.

Despite my deep respect for Rev. Graham, I believe some of his stated reasons for the Decision America Tour are questionable. First, he claims that as many as 20 to 30 million Christians did not vote in the 2012 election year. While this may be technically true, there is real question whether those missing votes really would have meaningfully changed the election results. Second, Franklin Graham suggests that encouraging Christians to vote will result in them voting for candidates who embrace Judeo-Christian values. This is also far from settled.

Research from 2014 shows that Protestant Christians are in decline and that they are no longer the majority in the US. This means that the missing votes from the last presidential election are undoubtedly also becoming fewer in number as a percentage of the total vote. It is also surprising that in the last presidential election – while more evangelical Christians turned out to vote than in 2008 – an amazing 21% of that total voted for Obama, someone who most would agree largely rejects evangelical values.

Since self-described evangelical Christians can’t agree on who best represents their values, the only way their voting block could make the difference Graham wants is if they could mostly agree on who is best to vote for. That’s unlikely to happen unless the voters have trusted leaders in their faith communities willing to offer explicit direction on – and support to – the best candidate. This is especially important in elections where politicians – like Alaska’s Senator Lisa Murkowski – use millions of dollars of advertising to deceive voters into believing that they are something they aren’t.

Regrettably, Franklin Graham has chosen not to personally endorse any candidates. While the nonprofit organizations he runs (Samaritan’s purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association) are not allowed to endorse candidates, he personally is able to – and should.

That being said, Rev. Graham is likely cautious due to past issues with the IRS. In 2013 he said the IRS audited his ministries after they ran ads in North Carolina supportive of a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman.

Franklin Graham is absolutely correct that the United States needs a revival and fervent prayer to rescue it. But whether his Decision America Tour will make a real difference in the 2016 elections – without offering specific guidance to evangelical voters – remains to be seen.

Without a doubt, God intervenes in the affairs of man, but generally relies on us as His hands and feet. For Rev. Graham, that is his personal support and endorsement of those who answer his call to action. Such bold action from Franklin Graham and other Christian leaders could make a real difference this fall.

Franklin Graham Just Dropped Unexpected Bombshell on GOP – Then Challenged All Christians to Do This

Franklin Graham Quits Republican Party

And, by the way, he writes, that doesn’t necessarily mean aligning with the Republican Party, which throughout the years has had a long history of supporting biblical values.
