Veterans Cemetery Replaces American Flag With Gay Pride Flag

The Biloxi National Cemetery in Mississippi, a graveyard for war veterans, has raised a gay pride flag to fly among the American flags at the entrance to the cemetery.

The decision was made possible by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough’s authorization for all VA facilities to raise the LGBT flag in 2022.

WLOX News, Biloxi’s local news outlet, interviewed a spokesman for the Biloxi VA about the gesture. He stated that the flag is just a “symbol of inclusion” that indicates to veterans, “If you wore the uniform, the VA is here for you.”

We really shouldn’t have to ask this question, but it seems necessary to go back to the basics: Why should an American veterans’ cemetery fly American flags?

Our veterans fought and died for the United States. Flying the American flag in cemeteries symbolizes that our country acknowledges their sacrifices. These brave soldiers defended and honored the United States until their last breath, so we raise the flag to honor them. The flag is also an extension of gratitude to veterans’ families. Shocking Video of ‘Gay Pride’ Parade: Little Girl Watches Nearly-Nude Man Dance

A shocking video has surfaced showing a little girl waving a rainbow flag in front of a nearly nude male dancer during a “gay pride” celebration.

She appears to be all alone on the crowded sidewalk as she watches the man gyrate and provocatively tug at his crotch.

Shot through the crossbars of scaffolding, the video has a voyeuristic, “peeping Tom” feel, as if the guys with the camera sense the evil naughtiness of what is going on. The barrier between them and the girl underscores the fact that they prefer to anonymously mock her rather than help her.

During the short video, 40 or so people stroll by and walk around her as if she were nothing more than an inanimate object, as if it were utterly unextraordinary – mundane – to witness the destruction of innocence in a child. The passersby barely even notice her. (Read more from “Shocking Video of ‘Gay Pride’ Parade: Little Girl Watches Nearly-Nude Man Dance” HERE)

Court Dismisses Lawsuit by Christian Fire Fighters Forced into Gay Pride Parade

After more than 10 years of litigation, the Supreme Court of Rhode Island has thrown out lawsuits by two Christian firefighters who were forced to drive a Providence fire truck in a “gay”-pride parade despite their religious objections.

The firefighters, Theodore Fabrizio and Stephen Deninno, both of whom are Roman Catholic, argued they should not be mandated to participate in such an event since their personal faith neither supports nor condones homosexuality.

Writing for all five members of the high court this month, Justice William Robinson called it a legitimate work assignment, saying their appearance in the 2001 parade as public servants was “relatively anonymous.”

“The respondents’ appearance in the parade, solely as members of the Providence Fire Department, did not constitute a form of expression on their part. Rather, it was simply the accomplishing of a task assigned to an engine company of the Providence Fire Department,” Robinson wrote.

The two lawsuits were originally filed in 2004 against former Mayor Buddy Cianci and James Rattigan, the fire chief of Providence in 2001. (Read more about the Christian fire fighters suit HERE)

Tuesday: Boycott Starbucks Day

Gay marriage activists are planning to swarm Starbucks on Tuesday in an attempt to counter the record sales from last week’s Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.

The chicken chain enjoyed a surge of support during the Wednesday event, dreamed up by former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee after Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy went on the record backing the “biblical definition of the family unit.”

A follow-up protest from Chick-fil-A critics on Friday, which was dubbed Same Sex Kiss Day, was more subdued.

Advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights are trying again Tuesday with National Marriage Equality Day, initiated by Equally Wed, a lesbian and gay wedding magazine. So far, nearly 28,000 people have signed up to attend.

The event was originally called National Starbucks Appreciation Day in honor of the coffee giant, which recently threw its support behind efforts to make gay marriage legal.

“Extraordinary reversal of military policy”: Service members permitted to march in uniform in gay pride parade

In what appears to be an extraordinary reversal of military policy, members of the U.S. armed forces say they have been given permission by their commanding officers to march in a “gay pride” parade Saturday – while wearing their service-issued uniforms.

Meanwhile, one of the top officers who approved the decision has since entered retirement.

The top echelons of the U.S. Air Force approved a request by a senior recruiter based in Arizona to join “a uniformed, active-duty military contingent” in a San Diego homosexual pride event, the San Diego Union Tribune reported.

The decision breaks down generations of tight limits on when and where a service member is allowed to appear in uniform, and appears to stray from the Department of Defense regulations on the use of uniforms, dated 2005 and signed by Defense Undersecretary David S.C. Chu, which says using the U.S. military uniform is prohibited in a number of scenarios.

Those include “in connection with furthering political activities, private employment or commercial interests, when an inference of official sponsorship of the activity or interest may be drawn.”
