More than 40 left-wing organizations (and/or some of their affiliates) opposing Republican efforts to prevent noncitizen voting in U.S. elections have collectively received more than $150 million from groups funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, a new analysis reveals.

On March 28, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR) released a letter directed at members of Congress, asking them to oppose the GOP-sponsored SAVE Act, which aims to close existing loopholes in federal law that foreign nationals could exploit to register and cast ballots in U.S. elections. As described by InfluenceWatch, LCCHR “serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 mostly left-wing organizations which lobby and advocate before Congress and other federal agencies on legislation and Presidential appointments to the executive departments and judiciary.”

The 112 left-wing organizations that signed onto the aforementioned letter “strongly” urged congressional representatives to “oppose” the SAVE Act, which they falsely claimed, “represents a shameful, divisive attempt to prevent millions of eligible U.S. citizens — disproportionately Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and other voters of color — from registering to vote.” The groups specifically parroted faux Democrat talking points that basic voting safeguards such as documentary proof of citizenship requirements are “onerous,” “harmful,” and “designed to restrict participation by lawfully registered voters.”

“The SAVE Act perpetuates a particularly heinous version of the voter fraud myth and, like other lies that provide the predicate for voter suppression while claiming to pursue ‘election integrity,’ is a solution in search of a problem that cynically trades on dangerous myths and stereotypes,” the letter reads. “This bill is based on misinformation that exploits the demographic fear stoked by those afraid of the fully inclusive, multiracial democracy the United States can and must become, and it erects a significant, unnecessary barrier to the ballot for many citizen voters.”

While the groups attempt to market their activism as a good-faith effort to defend so-called “civil and human rights,” a deep dive into their financial backgrounds suggests their interests are far more partisan than they let on. A reporter for Vice Media Group blasted the company for dishing out massive salaries to executives as the once-high-flying firm staggered toward bankruptcy — yet can’t spare a dime for him to pay for court records.

Joseph Cox, a senior staff writer for Vice-owned tech site Motherboard, tweeted screenshots from from documents filed by Vice in its bankruptcy proceedings listing its payments and transfers to top brass for the year before the media company filed for Chapter 11 protection in May.

“Today at Vice I was unable to pull a court record, which costs 10 cents, because the company isn’t paying bills,” Cox wrote Monday. “Meanwhile so many execs, some which led Vice to bankruptcy, make $700-900k, including bonuses at the time VICE laid off much cheaper workers. It’s worse than I thought.”

Last month, a fund tied to billionaire George Soros and SoftBank-owned Fortress Investment Group — Vice’s main creditors — won control of the company, which at its peak was valued at $5.7 billion.

According to the court documents, which the Post reviewed, Jesse Angelo, Vice’s former global president of news and entertainment, pulled in compensation totaling $815,254 between May 2022 and May 2023. (Read more from “Vice Roasted for Paying Execs up to $900K Before Filing for Bankruptcy” HERE)

Federal prosecutors have opened a probe into the finances of GOP Rep.-elect George Santos, who’s facing questions over the origins of his mysterious wealth, according to reports.

The investigation was launched by the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, CBS News and CNN reported on Wednesday.

Prosecutors are reportedly scrutinizing, among other things, the 34-year-old Long Island pol’s financial disclosure filings where Santos reported earning $750,000 from his Devolder Organization consulting firm, along with dividends valued between $1 million and $5 million.

In 2020, Santos reported making just $55,000 in annual salary and the filings also show that he loaned his own successful House campaign for New York’s 3rd Congressional District more than $700,000.

However, Santos’ campaign filings did not disclose any clients of the Devolder Organization giving him business of more than $5,000 — which has fueled speculation about how the incoming congressman got the money for the loans. For the last several years, billionaire philanthropist George Soros has been quietly financing a revolution in criminal justice reform, doling out tens of millions of dollars to progressive candidates in district attorney races throughout the country amid movements to abolish bail and defund the police.

Working with an activist attorney, Soros, 91, mainly funnels cash through a complicated web of federal and state political action committees as well as non-profits from coast to coast, public records show.

Last year, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, a nonprofit in Soros’ orbit, gave $3 million to the Community Resource Hub for Safety and Accountability, according to a recent report. The group provides resources to “local advocates and organizations working to address the harm of policing in the US.”

Hungarian-born philanthropist Soros and his Open Society group of non-profits have mainly doled out cash to political action campaigns controlled by attorney and criminal justice reform activist Whitney Tymas, 60. She is the treasurer of the Justice and Safety PAC as well as 20 other similarly named groups at both the state and federal levels, according to public filings.

The goal of the myriad PACs is focused on electing progressives to end tough policing and mass incarceration, according to Tymas. “If we are to reach a place of true progress, it will take the sustained efforts of local elected prosecutors across the country to rectify and reimagine their role in the criminal legal system — not just as gatekeepers, but as active catalysts for change,” wrote Tymas in an opinion article last year.
