Afghan and Syrian Migrants Up to Ten Times More Likely to Be Suspected of Crimes in Germany

Afghan and Syrian nationals are significantly overrepresented among suspects of violent crimes in Germany, according to official statistics.

This week, the Bild newspaper revealed some of the data from Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) report “Crime in the Context of Immigration” demonstrating that some foreign groups were much more likely to be suspected of serious crimes than German nationals.

When looking at violent crimes, there was a rate of 163 suspects per 100,000 Germans in 2024. In contrast, the rate for Afghan nationals stood at 1,722 suspects per 100,000 inhabitants. Meanwhile, the rate for Syrian nationals was 1,740 suspects per 100,000 inhabitants, or more than ten times the rate of German citizens.

According to the paper, a similar trend was born out in other categories of crime, including sexual offences or drug crimes, both of which are also led by Syrians and Afghans.

Separate figures revealed last month that foreigners now account for over 40 per cent of all suspected criminals in Germany last year. This jumped to over 43 per cent when only looking at violent crimes, recorded in the Police Crime Statistics 2024 (PKS 2024). Foreign Spy Agency Finds Way To Surveil Right-Wingers Even Harder

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency labeled the country’s popular right-wing party as an “extremist” organization in a statement released Friday, opening the door for the government to ramp up efforts to surveil the right, according to multiple reports.

The Verfassungschutz, or Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), claimed in the statement that Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) is a right-wing extremist party, paving the way for the government to double down on its surveillance of the organization’s activities, according to The New York Times. AfD came in second place in the February federal elections as its platform proved popular among voters tired of runaway immigration and ceding sovereignty to the European Union.

“The ethnicity and ancestry-based understanding of the people prevailing within the party is incompatible with the free democratic order,” the BfV said in the statement, according to a BBC translation.

BfV’s designation has drawn a sharp response from AfD, which characterized the move as being purely predicated on politics.

“This decision by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution is complete nonsense in terms of substance, has nothing to do with law and justice, and is purely political in the fight between the cartel parties against the AfD,” Stephan Brandner, an AfD leader, said regarding the designation, according to the NYT. U.S. Woman on Trial in Germany for Stabbing African Migrant Who Was Trying to Rape Her

Germany invited in the chaos and destruction—they literally rolled out the red carpet for it all, and now, women are paying the price. Thanks to years of unchecked mass migration, the country has become a hotbed for violent crime, especially sexual assaults committed by so-called refugees from Africa and the Middle East. But instead of protecting their own citizens—or in this case, an American woman who defended herself during an alleged sexual assault—German officials are once again bending over backwards to cover for the migrant and punish the victim. All so they can preserve their crumbling and failing progressive ideology.

And while German officials and courts attack victims, the truth about what is really happening in their country quietly is making the rounds online. . .

The really bad news for this American woman who fought for her life is that Germany has a deep-rooted culture of shaming victims and protecting violent attackers—especially when those attackers are migrants.

ReMix:

An American woman on trial in Germany for fatally stabbing a 64-year-old Eritrean national during an alleged sexual assault has insisted her actions were solely in self-defense amid what she described as a terrifying ordeal.

Fallyn B., 20, is facing charges of intentional bodily harm resulting in death after she stabbed Alem T., a man originally from Eritrea, during a scuffle at the Kaiserslautern main station in June last year.

According to prosecutors, the altercation began when the man allegedly groped Fallyn B. from behind while both were on an escalator. A heated verbal exchange and physical struggle ensued, during which the young woman pulled a 7-centimeter jackknife, reportedly to scare the man off.

When he attempted to grab her arm, she delivered a single, fatal stab to his upper body. The blade pierced the man’s aorta near his heart, causing him to collapse and die within seconds.

Germany Ready to Bring Back Conscription as Russian Belligerence Grows

If you want peace, prepare for war. Germany appears to be embracing this ancient maxim with the country’s top general warning Monday that Berlin is ready to bring back conscription.

Carsten Breuer, the German Chief of Defence, told BBC’s Radio 4 an additional 100,000 soldiers would be needed to ensure the country’s ability to defend itself as a belligerent Russia continues to roil the continent.

Defence chiefs have been looking to increase the size of the armed forces since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but have fallen short of even an initial target of 20,000, as Europe looks ahead to further unrest.

The Daily Mail reports Breuer warned Russia could attack NATO territory in as little as four years and he is calling for a massive troop buildup – achievable, he says, only through compulsory service through conscription.

“We won’t get this additional 100,000 soldiers without having one or the other, a model of conscription,” Germany’s highest ranking soldier told the programme. (Read more from “Germany Ready to Bring Back Conscription as Russian Belligerence Grows” HERE)

German Police Raid Homes Over Online ’Hate Speech’ Posts

American broadcaster CBS followed German police as they raided homes for speech crimes, such as posting a “racist cartoon” on the internet, which prosecutors in the country defended as a supposedly necessary safeguard to protect democracy.

Just days after U.S. Vice President JD Vance lambasted Germany and other European states for failing to live up to Western ideals of liberty, particularly on the issue of free speech, CBS’s 60 Minutes news magazine broadcast footage of police raids over social media posts and interviews with prosecutors defending the draconian practice.

“It’s 6:01 on a Tuesday morning, and we were with state police as they raided this apartment in Northwest Germany. Inside six armed officers searched a suspect’s home, then seized his laptop and cellphone. Prosecutors say those electronics may have been used to commit a crime, the crime; posting a racist cartoon online,” 60 Minutes anchor Sharyn Alfonsi described.

Unlike the United States, where the First Amendment protects citizens from being arrested over so-called “hate speech”, it is a very different story in Germany.

Local prosecutors told the American broadcaster that there are currently 16 dedicated police task forces monitoring “hate speech” on the German web, with around 3,500 cases per year. Prosecutor Frank-Michael Laue told the news programme that his unit alone has successfully secured 750 speech crime convictions over the past four years. ‘A Clear Message’: Airline Slapped With $4 Million Fine For Stopping Hundreds Of Jews From Boarding Flight

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) fined German airline Lufthansa $4 million for stopping hundreds of Jewish passengers from making a connecting flight, according to a Tuesday DOT press release.

Following alleged misconduct from some passengers, Lufthansa prohibited 128 Jewish passengers from boarding their connecting flight, most of whom were wearing “distinctive garb typically worn by Orthodox Jewish men,” the press release stated. However, many of the passengers were not traveling together and did not know each other, leading the DOT to issue the penalty — the largest the agency has ever issued against an airline for a civil rights violation.

“Most passengers who were interviewed by [the Office of Aviation Consumer Protection] stated that Lufthansa treated them all as if they were a single group, and denied boarding onto [the flight] to everyone for the apparent misbehavior of a few, because they were openly and visibly Jewish,” the DOT’s consent order listing Lufthansa’s violations stated.

The incident occurred in May 2022 when passengers were heading from New York City through Frankfurt, Germany, and on to Budapest, Hungary, to attend a memorial event for an Orthodox Rabbi, the Wall Street Journal reported. The DOT received 40 discrimination complaints, and ultimately found Lufthansa’s crew knew “the refusal to transport the entire group could result in the exclusion of passengers that had complied with crew instructions … but concluded it was not practical to address each passenger individually.” (Read more from “‘A Clear Message’: Airline Slapped With $4 Million Fine For Stopping Hundreds Of Jews From Boarding Flight” HERE)

Multiple People Killed, Several Injured in ‘Diversity Festival’ Mass Stabbing

At least three people were reportedly killed and several others were left in serious condition after a mass stabbing at a “Festival of Diversity” in the German city of Solingen on Friday evening.

. . .Germany’s Bild newspaper has reported that eyewitnesses said that they saw an “Arab-looking man” flee from the scene of the attack. The suspect is still at large at the time of this reporting. The knifeman reportedly targeted the necks of his victims, leading police to suspect terrorism.

Tragedy struck as the city of Solingen celebrated its 650th anniversary with a “Festival of Diversity” as a reported mass stabbing took place as festival goers gathered in the city centre. . .

A witness to the incident told the paper that he was standing in front of the music stage at the event when he saw a “person fall over just one meter next to me”.

The witness said that at first, he thought the other person may have been drunk, but then he saw several pools of blood surrounding the victim. (Read more from “Multiple People Killed, Several Injured in ‘Diversity Festival’ Mass Stabbing” HERE)

Germany Deports 7 Ukrainian Soldiers for Wearing Nazi Symbols

Germany deported seven Ukrainian soldiers who were training in the country on Thursday over their use of Nazi symbols, Kommersant reported. According to the report, the training of the Ukrainian soldiers was immediately halted after some were found to be wearing Nazi symbols.

German authorities announced that all Ukrainian military personnel arriving for training in Germany will now be explicitly instructed that it is prohibited to display Nazi symbols.

The use of Nazi symbols is banned in both Germany and Russia. Russia has condemned Western support for Ukraine, including the training of its soldiers. (Read more from “Germany Deports 7 Ukrainian Soldiers for Wearing Nazi Symbols” HERE)

Germany Went All in on the Green Transition. Now, Its Economy Is Crumbling

Germany fully bought into the green energy transition, but its economy is now showing serious signs of weakness as a prolonged energy crisis runs its course.

The country is aiming to have its energy supply and demand reach “net-zero” emissions by 2050, relying on sources like wind, solar and hydrogen fuels after former Prime Minister Angela Merkel decided in 2011 to eventually shutter the country’s nuclear power plant fleet. Despite the German government’s regulatory and spending blitz to usher in the green transition, the country is not on track to meet its climate goals, but its decision to rely on intermittent green energy generation has contributed to an ongoing energy crisis that is crippling its economy.

“Hollowing out the economy is not benefiting the German people, nor is it helping climate change,” Diana Furtchtgott-Roth, Director of the Center for Energy, Climate and Environment at the Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “It is not reducing emissions, because manufacturing is being shifted to other nations, like China and India, that use dirtier energy. The German economy is going down, and their people do not have the jobs and economic opportunities that they used to.”

Germany ultimately closed the last of its nuclear power plants in April 2023. Several months later, the German government announced that it would activate coal-fired power plants to ensure adequate supply through this winter.

The signs of Germany’s economic withering are numerous, perhaps most visible in the fact that it shrank in 2023 after growing by less than 2% in 2022, according to Euronews. The country is facing the high borrowing costs and inflationary pressures that are dogging many of the West’s economies, but sticky energy inflation remains the key factor in the country’s economic malaise, both for consumers and corporations, according to Reuters.
