Outrage After England’s Prince George, Age 4, Plays With One Specific Item

On Sunday, England’s Princess Kate, accompanied by her four-year-old son George and her three-year-old daughter Charlotte, was photographed with her children playing in the sun at the Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, while the children’s father, Prince William, was playing in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy. That would seem innocent enough, but photographs of young Prince George elicited outrage for one reason: he was playing with a toy gun.

Other photographs showed young George playing with a knife and handcuffs; all part of his fascination with police. Last November, George’s father William got a request list from George for Christmas that had only one item listed: a toy police car. Gun Control Push Backfires as Sales Hit All-Time High

The anti-gun left declared all-out war against the Second Amendment, the National Rifle Association and all who defend the right to keep and bear arms following the February mass shooting at a high school in Florida.

Several students from that school were vaulted to the forefront of the gun control movement by the national liberal media and gun control groups anxious for fresh faces to present to the public.

Those students urged the imposition of strict gun control measures — by legislation or corporate fiat — and any who questioned their confiscatory and unconstitutional ideas were berated and smeared by the anti-gun media who demanded they be silenced.

However, if those who have been wholeheartedly pushing gun control for the past several months thought their focused efforts would result in fewer firearms in circulation among Americans, they may have just realized that they actually achieved the exact opposite effect.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, gun sales are estimated to have hit an all-time high for the month of May, besting a previous record high set in May 2017. Sales for April and March this year set records for those months as well. (Read more from “Gun Control Push Backfires as Sales Hit All-Time High” HERE)

Gun Manufacturer Issues Scathing Rebuke Against Dick’s Sporting Goods, Pulls out of Stores

Dick’s Sporting Goods is continuing to feel the consequences of its decisions on weapons following the deadly Parkland school shooting.

Another major gun manufacturer announced Wednesday that it is severing ties with the sporting goods store after it hired three Washington, D.C., lobbyists to push for gun control legislation, the National Review reported.

Dick’s had already banned the sale of assault-style weapons and raised the minimum age for purchasing a gun to 21 after the mass shooting at the Florida high school in February that took the lives of 17 people. But the move to lobby gun control efforts on Capitol Hill was the last straw for several prominent gun manufacturers.

O.F. Mossberg & Sons Inc., the parent company of Mossberg guns, issued a statement announcing the end of its relationship with Dick’s Sporting Goods. . .

“Make no mistake, Mossberg is a staunch supporter of the U.S. Constitution and our Second Amendment rights, and we fully disagree with Dick’s Sporting Goods’ recent anti-Second Amendment actions,” he added, telling customers to “visit one of the thousands of pro-Second Amendment firearm retailers” instead of Dick’s.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Reloading on Gun Issue, Now Lobbying Congress on Gun Control

For Second Amendment supporters, Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Pennsylvania-based retailer, went over to the dark side with the announcement it would no longer sell so-called “assault-style” rifles, high-capacity magazines or any rifles to anyone under 21 years of age following the Feb. 14 shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school.

“We’re staunch supporters of the Second Amendment – I’m a gun owner myself,” company CEO Ed Stack said on “Good Morning America.” “We don’t want to be a part of this story, and we have eliminated these guns permanently.”

Stack’s claim of “staunch” support for the Constitution’s right to keep and bear arms, already under fire, has taken another dive following a new report in the Federalist revealing Dick’s has terminated its relationship with CSA Strategies LLC, a Republican-linked lobbying firm, and hired three lobbyists – two Democrats and one Republican – from the Glover Park Group to lobby for gun control.

The three lobbyists who began their work April 27 are listed by name in federal disclosure forms, as required by the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995, noted the Federalist. They are Joel Johnson, who worked for both President Bill Clinton and Senate Democrat leadership; Andrew King, who worked for Sen. Lindsey Graham R-S.C.; and Christina Brown, a former staffer for Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa.

Glover Park’s disclosure form lists only “lobbying related to gun control” as the work it was hired to do. Previously, CSA Strategies focused on tax reform, cyber security and patent-litigation reform on behalf of Dick’s. (Read more from “Dick’s Sporting Goods Reloading on Gun Issue” HERE)

Internet Star Ken Bone Says Son Was Suspended from School for Going to a Gun Range

Ken Bone, the man who became Internet famous for asking questions during one of the 2016 Presidential debates (and for wearing a now-iconic red pullover), says his son was suspended from school pending an investigation after Bone posted a photo of him and his son getting time in at the gun range.

On Thursday, Bone reposted the photo, noting that his son was now facing an inquiry from school officials.

Bone initially posted the photo as a response to Parkland mass shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv after Kashuv, himself, was questioned by police over a photo of him spending time at the gun range learning how to operate an AR-15. Bone captioned the photo with a story about how he was teaching his son “how to shoot safely,” and suggesting that “maybe those security guys want to talk to him.”

Green Beret Posts Horrifying Warning About Ultimate Outcome of Gun Control

As an active duty special forces soldier who’s fought in the world’s most decrepit hellholes, proud Green Beret and mixed martial arts fighter Tim Kennedy has a deep appreciation for the rights afforded to him as an American, including the right to bear arms.

Granted to every American citizen by the U.S. Constitution, this right now faces constant attacks by those who seek to subvert our freedom. In an Instagram post published Saturday, Kennedy explained why we must NEVER allow this to happen.

“This is why we need guns,” he explained in a post that depicted people from across the world being brutalized and oppressed by their own governments.

Gun control certainly worked for the likes of deceased Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, in that it allowed him to acquire the power needed to carry out the Holocaust and wage war against the rest of the civilized world. Unpublished Study: Over 2 Million Defensive Gun Uses Every Year

Every year, Americans use guns to defend themselves more than 2 million times, according to an unpublished study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that focused on data gathered in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Since the 1990s, Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck and partner Marc Gertz have claimed as many as 2.2 million Americans use firearms to defend themselves every year. While critics have claimed Kleck’s estimates were too high, he has frequently stated that they provide no scientific evidence to counter his findings.

Now it’s revealed that the unpublished CDC study in the 1990s found 2.46 million defensive gun uses, or DGUs, per year.

Kleck provides the following summary of the CDC findings:

In 1996, 1997, and 1998, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conducted large-scale national surveys asking about defensive gun use (DGU). They never released the findings, or even acknowledged they had studied the topic. I obtained the unpublished raw data and computed the prevalence of DGU. CDC’s findings indicated that an average of 2.46 million U.S. adults used a gun for self-defense in each of the years from 1996 through 1998 – almost exactly confirming the estimate for 1992 of Kleck and Gertz (1995). Possible reasons for CDC’s suppression of these findings are discussed.

Texas Sixth-Grader Killed Crossing Highway After Leaving School During Walkout

By Dallas News. A Texas sixth-grader who left his middle school campus during national student walkouts Friday was hit by a car and killed when he attempted to walk across a highway, officials said.

The 11-year-old boy, identified in a hospital news release as Jonathan Benko, was hit at 10:27 a.m. by a pickup traveling north on Loop 375 in El Paso, the El Paso Times reported. He died later at a hospital.

Students nationwide walked out of classes Friday on the 19th anniversary of the mass shooting at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, to protest gun violence.

The boy was struck while leaving Parkland Middle School in El Paso during the walkout, but he was not participating in it, Ysleta Independent School District Superintendent Xavier De La Torre said at a news conference.

He left in a group of students as part of a “separate, isolated event,” the Times reported. Students walked to the middle school’s football field to gather for the walkout, but a small group hopped over a wall and left campus, according to the students’ accounts to the Times. No other students were hurt, officials said. (Read more from “Texas Sixth-Grader Killed Crossing Highway After Leaving School During Walkout” HERE)

This County Just Declared Itself a ‘Sanctuary’ for Gun Owners

By The Daily Wire. On Monday, Effingham County, Illinois declared itself a “sanctuary” for gun owners. In a resolution passed 8-1, the country board directed their employees to neglect enforcement of any new state gun regulations that “unconstitutionally restrict the Second Amendment,” reports Fox News.

Effingham County board member David Campbell told “Fox & Friends First” that the county decided it was “time for someone to take a hard stand” against “the increasing number of House and Senate bills coming through attacking our Second Amendment” rights.

Campbell, who helped in crafting the resolution, said he received inspiration from a similar measure recently passed in Iroquois County, which is also located in the state. (Read more from “This County Just Declared Itself a ‘Sanctuary’ for Gun Owners” HERE)

‘We’re Taking a Stand’: Illinois County Declares Itself a Sanctuary for Gun Owners

By Fox News Insider. Effingham County, Illinois, on Monday became a “sanctuary county” for gun owners.

The county board passed the resolution on an 8-1 vote and directed its employees not to enforce any new state law that would “unconstitutionally restrict the Second Amendment.”

Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler said that the action is largely symbolic and will not control decision-making by law enforcement.

On “Fox & Friends First,” Effingham County board member David Campbell and Kibler joined Heather Childers to explain the thinking behind the resolution and what it means for the county.

Campbell said they decided to “take a stand” because they’ve seen an increasing number of state House and Senate bills that attack the Second Amendment.

“[We] decided it’s time for someone to take a hard stand,” Campbell said, explaining that he modeled the resolution after a similar one that was adopted by Iroquois County, Illinois. (Read more from “‘We’re Taking a Stand’: Illinois County Declares Itself a Sanctuary for Gun Owners” HERE)

Here’s Why Folks Are Calling Title of David Hogg’s Book Not Only Clueless, but Shameful

Parkland high school student David Hogg and his sister have scored a major book deal expounding on “the birth of a new movement,” but have created controversy before it is even released.

Hogg, the media darling of the student anti-gun movement since the mass shooting at his Florida school in February, has teamed with his sister Lauren book deal with Random House, the publisher announced Wednesday.

The planned book, “#NEVERAGAIN: A New Generation Draws the Line,” is being described as “a statement of generational purpose, and a moving portrait of the birth of a new movement.”

But while Hogg has made waves with his incendiary rhetoric and his calls for boycotts against pro-gun companies as well as Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, who hurt his feelings by tweeting about his college rejection letters, it is the title of the upcoming book that has ignited the latest backlash.
