SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden Puts ‘out of Control’ Anti-Gun Kids in Their Place

The former Navy SEAL, whose more than 400 missions included putting the fatal shot in the head of terrorist Osama bin Laden, addressed the topic of gun control this week–criticizing student activists who advocate restricting firearm ownership in the wake of last month’s school shooting in Florida.

. . .

The demands of teenage activists have regularly included banning the AR-15 and other semiautomatic rifles, as well as raising the firearm purchase age to 21 and expanding background checks.

O’Neill’s comment about kids telling “sensible gun-owners how many rounds they need” appeared to be a response to a Democrat-sponsored bill introduced Monday that would require background checks for purchasing ammunition . . .

The legendary Navy SEAL responded to a Twitter user who said he shouldn’t criticize Parkland survivors because he has never been “what they went through.”

The veteran wasn’t alone in taking aim at the gun control movement.

Teacher Who Questioned Student Walkout Reveals Something That’s Gonna Give School District a Headache

In an interview Tuesday with Tucker Carlson, Julianne Benzel, an AP American History teacher in Sacramento who was put on paid leave for raising questions about the student gun control walkout, mentioned a development that is sure to stir things up in the district.

After giving Carlson a summary of the rather stunning sequence of events surrounding her temporary suspension and rapid reinstatement, Benzel revealed that a student had decided to test whether or not the school had a “double standard” when it comes to causes it officially endorses. The student has petitioned the school to allow him and others to walk out to protest abortion.

The student’s decision to organize a pro-life walkout was in part inspired by the very question that triggered administrators to initially put Benzel on paid leave. As Benzel described in an interview with The Daily Wire, in her classes on Thursday and Friday before National Walkout Day, Benzel asked her students to consider if it is wise policy for the school to allow students to walk out for a political cause. By backing a gun control demonstration, does the school now have to back a pro-life demonstration? Benzel asked students to consider the ramifications and encouraged them to discuss the issue with their parents.

EPIC FAIL: Parkland Student Makes Most False Statement Ever About Second Amendment

On Tuesday, a student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School made one of the most factually false statements about the Second Amendment in the history of Twitter, which ignited the social media platform into a firestorm.

In a tweet, far-left activist Cameron Kasky claimed: “The first amendment has restrictions. The second amendment has no restrictions. These weapons are not in the hands of “well-regulated” militias. The changes the people are demanding do not desecrate the second amendment, they just make it a safe addition to our constitution.”

Here are just some of the regulations that limit the scope of the Second Amendment

National Firearms Act (NFA) – “The importation of certain firearms, including but not limited to, machineguns, silencers, certain weapons made from rifles or shotguns, and destructive devices is also restricted under the National Firearms Act (NFA). 26 U.S.C. § 5844.”

Arms Export Control Act of 1976 (AECA) – “The importation of certain defense articles to include certain firearms, firearms parts, ammunition and certain other military equipment is subject to the provisions of the Arms Export Control Act of 1976 (AECA). 22 U.S.C. § 2778.”

Why Did It Take Two Weeks to Discover Parkland Students’ Astroturfing?

“Can you believe these kids?” It’s been a recurring theme of the coverage of the Parkland school shooting: the remarkable effectiveness of the high school students who created a gun control organization in the wake of the massacre. In seemingly no time, the magical kids had organized events ranging from a national march to a mass school walkout, and they’d brought in a million dollars in donations from Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney. . .

In other words, the response was professionalized. That’s not surprising, because this is what organization that gets results actually looks like. It’s not a bunch of magical kids in somebody’s living room. Nor is it surprising that the professionalization happened right off the bat. Broward County’s teacher’s union is militant, and Rep. Ted Lieu stated on Twitter that his family knows Parkland student activist David Hogg’s family, so there were plenty of opportunities for grown-ups with resources and skills to connect the kids.

On Twitter, I lost track of the number of bluechecks rhapsodizing over how effective the kids’ organizational instincts were. But organizing isn’t instinctive. It’s skilled work; you have to learn how to do it, and it takes really a lot of people. You don’t just get a few magical kids who’re amazing and naturally good at it.

The real tip-off should have been the $500,000 donations from Winfrey and Clooney. Big celebrities don’t give huge money to strangers on a whim. Somebody who knows Winfrey and Clooney called them and asked. But the press’s response was to be ever more impressed with the kids.

For two weeks, journalists abjectly failed in their jobs, which is to tell the public what’s going on. And any of them who had any familiarity with organizing campaigns absolutely knew. Matt Pearce, of the Los Angeles Times, would have been ideally placed to write an excellent article: not only is he an organizer for the Times’s union, he moderated a panel on leftist activism for the LA Times Book Festival and has the appropriate connections in organizing. Instead, he wrote about a school walkout, not what was behind it. (Read more from “Why Did It Take Two Weeks to Discover Parkland Students’ Astroturfing?” HERE)

A Democrat Just Suggested a Sickening Idea to Steal Guns From Americans

By WND. A Democratic candidate for sheriff in North Carolina is drawing fire after he suggested authorities should kill Americans to confiscate their firearms and then claimed he was joking.

R. Daryl Fisher, a former Asheville police officer who has been in law enforcement since 1985, was speaking at a Moms Demand Action meeting on March 7, 2018, at the West Asheville Library when he made the controversial comments.

Fisher’s campaign posted the following video of his speech on YouTube:

“Any weapon that is designed for use by the military, I think we should ban,” Fisher said. “You’ve heard people say you have to pry my gun from my cold, dead hands? (shrugs) OK.”

The audience laughs and applauds approvingly as Fisher smiles and adds: “Whenever you pass away, we’ll come get it. I dunno. I’m just saying. Joking just a little bit there.” (Read more from “A Democrat Just Suggested a Sickening Idea to Steal Guns From Americans” HERE)

An NC Sheriff Candidate’s Joke Led Thousands to Say He’s Willing to Kill to Take Guns

By News Observer. . . .R. Daryl Fisher is one of eight candidates running for sheriff of Buncombe County in western North Carolina. He’s one of five Democrats seeking to win the party’s nomination in a primary election on May 8.

The belief that he would kill for the sake of gun regulation arose from a “joke” he made during a meeting with voters in Asheville on March 7. Video was being recorded as Fisher answered questions about gun permits and offered suggestions for gun legislation . . .

The Twitter page for The Red Elephants, a conservative news outlet, posted that 30-second edited version of Fisher’s original video with text saying, “Suggests killing people to take their guns… Daryl Fisher candidate for sheriff in Buncombe County…”

The Red Elephants posted the video on Saturday, and by Monday afternoon it had more than 200,000 views and more than 4,000 retweets. (Read more from “An NC Sheriff Candidate’s Joke Led Thousands to Say He’s Willing to Kill to Take Guns” HERE)

Rapper Tells Gun-Grabbers: ‘You’re Not Woke,’ and ‘You’re Going to Progress Us Into Slavery’

By Bizpac Review. . .Rapper Killer Mike stunned Americans with an unabashed pro-Second Amendment interview for NRATV last week in which he called gun control advocates “lack[ies] of the progressive movement,” but ultimately issued an apology and declared support for Saturday’s March For Our Lives rally after receiving backlash.

“We’re raising a generation of kids where everyone gets’ a trophy. But in real life, everyone doesn’t get a trophy,” Killer Mike, real name Michael Render, told NRATV’s Colion Noir. “In real life, the cops don’t come on time.”

The artist said he instructed his children not to participate in the March 14 national school Walkout Day in support of stricter gun laws, telling them “I love you, but if you walk out that school, walk out my house.”

“You can’t continue to be the lackey,” he added. “You’re a lackey of the progressive movement because you have never disagreed with the people who tell you what to do.” (Read more from “Rapper Tells Gun-Grabbers: ‘You’re Not Woke,’ and ‘You’re Going to Progress Us Into Slavery'” HERE)

March for Our Lives: Hollywood Stars Among Thousands to March in Los Angeles in Support of Stricter Gun Controls

By The Independent. Hollywood celebrities lent their presence and political heft to the March for Our Lives gun control movement, and helped to rally Americans in a day of nationwide protest, by both donating large sums of money, as well as by showing up to march, speak and perform.

At Saturday’s march in Los Angeles, comedienne Amy Schumer, a showing of whose film Trainwreck was the scene of a 2015 shooting in a Louisiana theatre, spoke passionately against gun violence and the National Rifle Association (NRA) lobbying group at a gathering said to be 50,000-strong.

“How do they sleep at night? They call people like me ‘Hollywood liberals,’ like there’s something in it for us. Well, what’s in it for us is knowing we’re doing our part to keep our children alive,” she said . . .

The Los Angeles march was attended by droves of young people, many of whom had participated in the national school Walk-Out last week, and who paraded from downtown’s Broadway to City Hall to hear pop star Charlie Puth and Willow Smith, along with teen activists from Marjory Douglas Stoneman High in Florida, and LA’s Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti, who is rumoured to be considering a run for the US presidency in 2020 . . .

Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver, ex-wife of actor and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, also marched, and told The Independent she thought the experience was “energising”. Though there have been anti-gun protests before, she said, “it feels different this time”. WATCH: Actors Read Gun Control Facts That Don’t Fit Liberal Agenda. Their Reactions Are Priceless.

Austen Fletcher, a YouTuber known for his “man on the street” videos, released a new video on Friday showing actors cold reading firearm facts don’t fit the liberal agenda. . .

How did the actors react to the facts?

“I just kind of blindly chose a side on the whole issue without really thinking about facts,” one of the actors admitted after the reading.

“It’s interesting to actually take the time and see what the facts say as opposed to what I personally feel,” that actor added.

“I mean, I’m gonna be honest. For me, I don’t really, like, go to the main news sources ‘cause a lot of it’s always, like, pushed by an agenda, you know what I mean? So, to get the real facts, you always have to do more research,” another [actor] said. (Read more from “WATCH: Actors Read Gun Control Facts That Don’t Fit Liberal Agenda. When #MarchForOurLives Protesters Are Asked What an ‘Assault Weapon’ Actually Is, They Have No Idea

During Saturday’s #MarchForOurLives in Washington D.C., Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips spoke with a number of protesters and asked them two simple questions.

First, Phillips asked what kind of policy changes need to be made. Nearly all of the protesters said legislators needs to enact a ban on “assault weapons.” But when he followed that up by asking what an assault weapon was, things got interesting.

Here are some of the best answers:

“Yeah, it’s um, assault weapon. It’s like, um — I kind of do, but kind of don’t.”

“No, I guess. But assault weapons, like, does that sound safe to you?”

Leaked Audio Reveals Teacher Coaching Students Before Big Anti-Gun Rally, Shares ‘Top-Secret’ Info

Leaked audio reveals disturbing details from a Florida meeting preparing students for the upcoming March For Our Lives event in Washington.

Under the guise of briefing students, parents, and staff from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who are planning to attend this weekend’s #MarchForOurLives protest in Washington, D.C., a Broward County public school teacher could be heard coaching students on media talking points and admitting in a “super off-the-record” comment that the proper permits had not been secured for the event.

The meeting, held at the Marriott Hotel – which reportedly donated the space – in Coral Springs, FL. on Tuesday, was captured on hidden audio which was provided to Dangerous, the Milo Yiannopolous website.

The organizer of the meeting, Debby Miller, a Beachside Montessori Village teacher, introduced herself as a representative for the Giffords Foundation. The non-profit group founded by former Arizona Democratic congresswoman Gabby Giffords, is reportedly funding the cost of sending over 200 students, staff, and parents from Parkland, Florida to the march, reporter Laura Loomer shared . . .

Believing she was speaking to supporters in the absence of cameras, Miller shared “top-secret” pieces of information including the fact that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi planned to participate in the event which is simply an anti-Trump and anti-Second Amendment protest. New Report Describing Events Leading up to Parkland Shooting Blows up Gun Control Argument

By Luis Miguel. Disgraced former Broward Sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson is embroiled in further questions about his handling of last month’s school shooting.

Documents obtained by the Associated Press show that Peterson and two school counselors recommended in September 2016 that shooter Nikolas Cruz be involuntarily committed for mental evaluation. Had Peterson followed through, Cruz would likely have been unable to legally purchase firearms.

The documents, provided by Henderson Behavioral Health as part of Cruz’s case, were part of a psychological assessment that began after Cruz’s since-deceased mother, Lynda, discovered that he had punched holes in the wall at home . . .

The report of a September 28, 2016 interview read that Cruz “cut his arms 3-4 weeks ago and states that this is the only time he has ever cut. (Cruz) states that he cut because he was lonely, states that he had broken up with his girlfriend and reports that his grades had fallen. (Cruz) states that he is better now, reports that he is no longer lonely and states that his grades have gone back up.” . . .

If Cruz had been institutionalized, it would have appeared on his record and constituted a major red flag at the moment of trying to buy a gun. (Read more from “New Report Describing Events Leading up to Parkland Shooting Blows up Gun Control Argument” HERE)

Zachary Cruz, Parkland Massacre Suspect’s Brother, Arrested for Trespassing at School

By Fox News. Zachary Cruz, the brother of the suspect who killed 17 people on Feb. 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, was arrested Monday for trespassing on the school’s property.

Cruz, 18, “unlawfully entered the school grounds” around 4:50 p.m. on Monday, according to a report from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said that despite warnings not to enter the Stoneman Douglas campus, Cruz went through locked doors and gates and rode his skateboard throughout the property — all of which was captured on security footage.

Cruz, according to the arrest report, wanted to “Reflect on the school shooting and to soak it in.” He was charged with trespassing. (Read more from “Zachary Cruz, Parkland Massacre Suspect’s Brother, Arrested for Trespassing at School” HERE)
