Harvey Weinstein Violated Conditions of His Prison Release

Harvey Weinstein violated the conditions of his release, prosecutors said Friday as they asked a judge to hike the disgraced producer’s bond from $1 million to $5 million.

Weinstein, 67, looked ashen in a light gray suit, as he limped into Manhattan Supreme Court with help from his team of defense lawyers.

Assistant DA Joan Illuzzi-Orbon said Weinstein has been untrackable on at least 56 separate occasions — including during an Oct. 16 outing in Manhattan. He has a two-part device: a bracelet and a signaling device.

“The bottom line, judge, is this man could fly out on a private jet which he does and go to another country,” she said, asking for the increase to either $5 million cash, $10 million insurance company bond or $50 million security bond. She said he’s sold $60 million in property in the last two years, flies private and is a serious flight risk.

Defense lawyer Donna Rotunno insisted that he’s never willfully violated the bail terms, and that there aren’t enough cell towers near his home in Bedford to maintain the device’s connection. But she admitted he forgot to bring the signaling device on one Manhattan excursion. (Read more from “Harvey Weinstein Violated Conditions of His Prison Release” HERE)

Ronan Farrow: People like Hillary Clinton Turn When You Threaten Their ‘Sources of Funding’ (VIDEO)

Ronan Farrow says twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton iced him out upon learning of his investigation into the accusations of sexual assault against Harvey Weinstein, noting how people will turn “if you threaten the centers of power or the sources of funding around them.”

The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow told the Financial Times that Clinton slowly iced him out upon learning of his investigation into Weinstein, a Clinton ally and major Clinton Foundation donor. Weinstein also donated to groups that supported Clinton’s failed presidential bid.

“It’s remarkable how quickly even people with a long relationship with you will turn if you threaten the centers of power or the sources of funding around them,” Farrow, who worked for Clinton for “years,” told the publication.

“Ultimately, there are a lot of people out there who operate in that way. They’re beholden to powerful interests and if you go up against those interests, you become radioactive very quickly,” Farrow added.

Farrow spoke to Fox News last month to discuss his book Catch and Kill and described how Clinton and her aides backed away from him after finding out that he was “working on this story about one of her most significant donors, a big bundler of Hollywood money.”

Uh Oh: Lead Detective in Weinstein Coached Witnesses, Instructed Them To…

According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, the lead detective in the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault investigation acted inappropriately. The detective not only coached witnesses on what to say but instructed them to delete text messages before handing their phones over to prosecutors, WABC-TV reported. . .

The DA’s office sent Weinstein attorney Benjamin Brafman a letter on Tuesday saying it had been contacted last week by an attorney for “Complainant 2,” who is the complaining witness behind three counts in the case against Weinstein.

According to the letter, the witness told the DA’s office that she had expressed concern about turning over phones to prosecutors because they contained personal information.

Det. Nicholas DiGaudio, prosecutors said, then allegedly told the witness to “delete anything she did not want anyone to see” before turning over the phones. The witness also told prosecutors that the detective said they would conceal the deletions from the DA’s office.

. . .

“The Manhattan DA’s office needs to enter the 21st century. This is the age of technology. People keep loads of personal info on their phones that they prefer remains confidential,” DEA President Michael Palladino said in a statement. “A woman should not have to surrender confidential intimate information that’s immaterial to the case to defend herself against a sexual predator,” he continued. “That’s being victimized twice. Detective DiGaudio was sensitive to that.” (Read more from “Uh Oh: Lead Detective in Weinstein Coached Witnesses, Instructed Them To…” HERE)

Harvey Weinstein: Judge Allows Sex Trafficking Case to Move to Trial

A US federal judge has ruled that a British woman’s sex-trafficking lawsuit against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein can go ahead – setting the stage for a landmark case.

British actor Kadian Noble, 31, sued Weinstein in US district court in New York City in November, charging he brought her to a hotel room in France and sexually assaulted her.

Her lawyers in New York have argued that because Weinstein dangled a movie role for Noble before the 2014 assault, he should be liable for damages under a sex trafficking law, which makes it a crime to coerce someone into sex in exchange for something of value.

Weinstein has tried to get the case thrown out, with his lawyers arguing that because no money and nothing of value changed hands, the allegations did not amount to sex trafficking. . .

Noble charges that Weinstein invited her to his hotel room in Cannes, in the south of France, to review a film reel she had submitted and discuss a movie role he claimed to have in mind for her. He then allegedly groped her and forced her to perform a sex act in the hotel room bathroom, according to the suit – promising afterwards that his people would be in touch about the job, which never happened. Oscars Now Regret Banning Weinstein So Quickly

When Hollywood’s most prestigious organization, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) — the group of nearly 7,000 actors, directors and other industry types who dole out the Oscars — expelled Harvey Weinstein on Oct. 14, audiences applauded. But by acting so swiftly, a mere nine days after the New York Times first reported allegations of sexual assault against the movie producer, the outfit now finds itself facing a dilemma.

Put simply: What to do with the rest of them?

“Harvey opened the floodgates,” said one male Academy member. “Now the Academy’s drowning in a tide of s—t. They don’t know what hit them.”

What hit, of course, were more alleged horror stories about so many other members: Kevin Spacey assaulting multiple young men, Dustin Hoffman sticking his hands in women’s pants, director Brett Ratner forcing himself on actresses. Ben Affleck seen on video groping a female host on “Total Request Live.” Screenwriter James Toback accused of sexual misdeeds by nearly 40 women. (As of this past Tuesday, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said it is considering criminal charges in five cases against Toback. He, Spacey, Hoffman and Ratner, deny the claims against them.) (Read more from “Oscars Now Regret Banning Weinstein So Quickly” HERE)

Weinstein Allegedly Paid ‘Army’ of Investigators, Ex-Mossad Agents to Keep Actresses, Journalists From Revealing Predatory Behavior

Journalist Ronan Farrow, who wrote the initial exposé on now-disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein for The New Yorker, has published a new piece with some shocking allegations. According to his report, Weinstein spent more than a year using private investigators to track actresses and journalists in an effort to stop his predatory behavior from going public.

The New Yorker article alleges that Weinstein hired firms like Black Cube, which is largely made up of former officers from Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies, to look into women who could potentially go on the record about his sexual harassment and assault — and to look into journalists working on similar stories, including Farrow himself.

The goal: to “target” and suppress anyone who might come forward to ruin Weinstein’s reputation, according to the report.

A representative for Weinstein denied to the outlet that anyone was targeted or suppressed at any time. Reps for Weinstein did not respond to Fox News when reached for comment.

Two private investigators from Black Cube reportedly got information from actress Rose McGowan, who has been an outspoken critic of Weinstein and has publicly accused him of rape since exposés from The New York Times and The New Yorker were published in which many women came forward to tell their respective stories about Weinstein’s predatory nature. NYPD Working to Arrest Weinstein on Rape Claims

The NYPD is prepared to arrest Harvey Weinstein for raping “Boardwalk Empire” star Paz de la Huerta — and the next step is for the Manhattan district attorney to get an arrest warrant, a top department official said Friday.

“She put forth a credible and detailed narrative to us. We then sought to garner corroboration — this happened seven years ago — and we found corroboration,” Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce told reporters . . .

When asked what made de la Huerta’s case so credible, he explained it was her “ability to articulate each and every movement of the crime — where she was, where they met, where this happened and what he did.”

Weinstein is in Arizona for sex-addiction rehab, so the NYPD will need DA Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office to secure an arrest warrant to bring him back to the Big Apple. (Read more from “NYPD Working to Arrest Weinstein on Rape Claims” HERE)

“Harvey believes he is a savior,” a Hollywood insider says.

The source adds that the pervy former Weinstein Co. and Miramax macher has been telling confidantes “that he was born to take the fall for his behavior in order to ‘change the world.’ He is resigned to his punishment — as a martyr for social change” . . .

New Accusers Expand Harvey Weinstein Sexual Assault Claims Back to ’70s

By The New York Times. Hope Exiner d’Amore said Harvey Weinstein raped her in a hotel room in the 1970s, when he was a young concert promoter in Buffalo. Cynthia Burr said that during this time, he assaulted her in an encounter that began in an elevator and ended with forced oral sex in a hallway. Ashley Matthau, a dancer with a bit part in one of his movies, said that in 2004, he pushed her down on a bed and masturbated while straddling her. Days later, she said, he paid her to remain silent.

Three weeks after complaints of sexual harassment and misconduct by Mr. Weinstein were first reported in The New York Times, women from different continents, fields and generations have come forward with allegations of rape, sexual assault and groping. New accounts include one previously undisclosed settlement with Mr. Weinstein and expand the time frame of alleged wrongdoing to the 1970s.

Together, the accounts provide a widening tally of alleged abuses, and illustrate the toll on women who say they felt ashamed and isolated as they watched the Hollywood producer walk red carpets, pile up Oscars and showcase his ties to prominent figures. Lesbian Privilege: Ellen Shares Tweet Only She Can Get Away With in Wake of Weinstein Scandal

In the wake of the monstrous Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal blowing up Hollywood, happy-go-lucky daytime host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted an image and a caption only she could get away with.

“Happy birthday, @KatyPerry,” Ellen wished to pop singer and fellow Trump-hater Katy Perry. “It’s time to bring out the big balloons!” she added, clearly referring to Perry’s breasts.

The photo accompanying the caption is one of Ellen staring straight at Ms. Perry’s rack:

The loud feminists eager to blast straight men for their apparent innate toxicity were oddly silent. The #MeToo brigade willing to even blast 90-year-old ex-presidents? Silencio.

This is what you might call “lesbian privilege.” (Read more from “Lesbian Privilege: Ellen Shares Tweet Only She Can Get Away With in Wake of Weinstein Scandal” HERE)
