Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group that is based in Lebanon, called for a day of “unprecedented anger” directed at Israel after there was an explosion at a hospital in Gaza that killed hundreds of people.
Mainstream news organizations, left-wing politicians, and anti-Semites immediately latched onto and parroted claims by Palestinian officials claiming that Israel bombed the hospital, which resulted in the deaths of more than 500 people. However, Israel later confirmed that the explosion at the hospital was caused by a rocket that terrorists launched from inside Gaza that malfunctioned and hit the hospital.
Hezbollah joined the rest of the Islamic world in instantly blaming Israel for the attacks.

The Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah launched at least five anti-tank guided missiles into northern Israel on Sunday, a day after Iranian officials warned that the Lebanon-based group was poised to aid Hamas by opening a second front against Israel.
The attacks marked the latest escalation of skirmishes on Israel’s border with Lebanon. They ratcheted up fears of a widening Israel-Hezbollah clash in the north and the prospect of a major war between Iran and Israel.
Israel responded to the strikes by shelling Hezbollah sites inside Lebanon. Backed by a growing deployment of U.S. warships, Israeli forces prepared for a much-anticipated ground invasion to rout Hamas from Gaza in the south.
With a humanitarian crisis growing in Gaza and escalation concerns mounting, the Biden administration scrambled through the weekend to try to calm regional nerves while attempting to deter Iran and Hezbollah from further provocations.

Kataib Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Shiite militia in Iraq, on Tuesday threatened to attack American bases in Iraq and across the Middle East if the U.S. aids Israel against the terrorists of Hamas.
“Our missiles, drones, and special forces are ready to … strike the American enemy in its bases and disrupt its interests if it intervenes in this battle,” said Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, who styles himself as “Hezbollah Brigades Secretary-General,” according to Iran’s PressTV.
Hamidawi said Iraqi Hezbollah, which is distinct from the Lebanon-based terrorist organization Hezbollah, has a “duty to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians” under Islamic law. He praised the murderers of Hamas for their bloody assault on Israeli civilians.
PressTV quoted another Iraqi militant leader, Akram al-Kaabi of Harakat Hezbollah Nujaba, echoing Hamidawi’s warning and promising a “military response” (i.e. terrorist attack) against any country that intervenes on Israel’s behalf.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Thursday that they have charged a New Jersey man over his support of Hezbollah, a militant Islamist group.
The DOJ announced a nine-count indictment against 42-year-old Alex Saab, alleging that Saab had scoped out iconic New York City landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, for a terrorist attack.
“Saab served as an operative of Hizballah and conducted surveillance of possible target locations in order to help the foreign terrorist organization prepare for potential future attacks against the United States,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers said in a statement. “Such covert activities conducted on U.S. soil are a clear threat to our national security and I applaud the agents, analysts, and prosecutors who are responsible for this investigation and prosecution.”
Saab is a naturalized citizen, but U.S. attorney Geoffrey S. Today, news and social outlets are consumed with the topic of the Confederate flag. But a question no one is tackling is what about the Hezbollah flag flying over American tanks in Iraq?
Anyone who visits the Walter Reed Hospital will immediately see the irrevocable destruction of Hezbollah. Thousands of our troops have been incapacitated and mangled by IEDs from Hezbollah and other Shiite groups in Iraq, all funded by Obama’s ally, Iran. Anyone who was around in 1983 will remember the 241 American servicemen who were killed in the Hezbollah terror attack in Beirut.
Guess what Obama is doing with them?
Eli Lake reports at Bloomberg News that our troops are sharing a base with Hezbollah-controlled Shiite forces and we are bailing them out of their humiliating loss to the Islamic State:
This collaboration with terrorist groups that have killed Americans was seen as unavoidable as the U.S. marshaled Iraqis against the Islamic State, but could prove counterproductive to U.S. interests in the long term, this official said. The militias comprise largely Shiite volunteers and are headed by the leader of the Iraqi Hezbollah, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. He was sanctioned in 2009 by the Treasury Department for destabilizing Iraq. Al-Muhandis is a close associate of Qassem Suleimani, the Iranian Quds Force commander, who has snapped selfies with the militia leader at key battles. Other militias that have participated in the fighting against the Islamic State include the League of the Righteous, which in 2007 carried out a brutal roadside execution of five U.S. soldiers near Karbala. The group to this day boasts of its killing of U.S. soldiers. In an interview in February, a spokesman for the militia defended the killings and said his militia had killed many more American soldiers.
Obama is risking the lives of our troops to get involved in an Islamic civil war between the two worst actors in the Middle East instead of letting them kill each other. What’s worse is that we are running air campaigns and funneling weapons to the Iranian-backed terrorists who killed and mangled thousands of America’s finest.
This report comes on the heels of the revelation that Obama has been sending Hellfire Missiles and Howitzers to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Sadly, this has been going on for months. In January, American M1 Abrams Tanks were spotted with the local version of the Hezbollah flag flying high.
If you don’t remember a national conversation about this don’t feel uninformed. It wasn’t exactly a Politico or CNN breaking news alert.
One could not possibly conjure up a more dyslexic and immoral strategy in the Middle East. On one hand, Obama is siding with Iran and Hezbollah in the theaters where they are fighting the Islamic State, instead of rooting for casualties on both sides. On the other hand, he is refusing to arm our allies, the Kurds, in the theaters where they are successfully battling IS. Instead of sending the weapons to the Kurds, the Obama administration is directing the arms to the “Iraqi army,” which is nothing but a proxy for Iran and Hezbollah.
Ash Carter, Obama’s Defense Secretary, told the Senate Armed Services Committee last week that he didn’t want to arm the Kurds because it would jeopardize the “unity” of Iraq. In other words, it would risk offending the Iranians. Congressional Democrats also blocked an amendment to the NDAA that would have provided for the direct arming of Kurdish forces.
What could be more dangerous, offensive, and immoral than sending 3,500 ground forces and our air force to arm and protect Hezbollah in an Islamic civil war?
Where is the clamoring from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Reince Preibus with letters to the president demanding that we “take down the Hezbollah flag” from the base in Anbar province? Within 24 hours they were able to mobilize against the Confederate Flag; certainly they can muster the courage to stop Obama’s support of Hezbollah and endangerment of our troops.
Oh, and in case anyone forgot, the deadline for the Iran deal is a week from today. It’s clearly not as important as the Confederate flag, passing Obamatrade, and strengthening Obamacare, but can GOP leaders at least feign some degree of concern for our national security?

Photo Credit: Foreign Policy Along the vast mountain range that marks the Lebanon-Syria border, Hezbollah fighters point out recently captured al-Nusra Front training sites and military positions, and describe how they’ve been able to clear the area of the jihadis. They pick their way over the remnants of the al Qaeda affiliate’s makeshift camp, where clothes, tins of foods, and shell casings are strewn across the ground.
“They were fighters with nothing to lose, so some of them fought fiercely — at some points it was hand-to-hand combat,” said one Hezbollah commander. “But our weapon is our will, our passion, and our conviction.”
For the last two weeks, Hezbollah has been fighting along the Qalamoun mountain range, a 450-square-mile area that straddles both Lebanon and Syria, and overlooks the organization’s heartland in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Their enemies are an assortment of fighters belonging to the Islamic State, al-Nusra Front, and elements from the Free Syrian Army. Hezbollah has touted the ongoing Qalamoun battles as a victory, saying it successfully reopened a clear path from Lebanon into Syria and constrained the threat from Sunni militants posed on Lebanon’s border.
With the battle still unfinished and the sound of explosions continuing to ring in the air, the Hezbollah commander describes how they were able to recapture the territory. “We managed to cleanse the area, which had about 40 positions belonging to the terrorists,” he said. “So far, we have liberated 120 square miles.”
According to another fighter, 80 percent of the recaptured area had been under al-Nusra Front’s control, while Islamic State fighters remain in the northern part of the mountain range, where the battle has yet to come. (Read more from “Hezbollah Is Stronger Than Ever” HERE)

Fourth generation Kornet anti-tank missiles were fired at two IDF vehicles in the Har Dov area that were subsequently destroyed. This was the first time Hezbollah used this advanced anti-tank missile.
The IDF immediately responded with artillery fire on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. After that, Hezbollah fired mortars on Israeli villages in the area of Mount Hermon, the highest mountain in Israel.
Two Israeli soldiers were killed, and seven others were wounded critically. Several Israeli citizens were also lightly wounded by Hezbollah fire and were evacuated to Ziv Hospital in Safed . . .
Hezbollah claimed that the attack on Israel was justified, and that it was an act of ‘legal resistance’ since the organization disputes Israeli sovereignty over the Har Dov area. In fact, this has been Hezbollah’s excuse for continuing its hostilities against the Jewish state after Israel withdrew fully from Lebanon in May 2000. Iran Targets Netanyahu Children for Assassination
By Adam Kredo. Iran is encouraging its terror allies to pursue the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s children by publishing personal information about them, including photographs of the kids lined up in crosshairs, and declaring, “We must await the hunt of Hezbollah.”
The publication of the personal information and biographies of Netanyahu’s children follows an Israeli airstrike last week that killed several key Hezbollah leaders and an Iranian commander affiliated with the country’s hardline Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Iranian military leaders affiliated with the IRGC threatened in recent days harsh retaliation for the strike and promised to amp up support for Hezbollah as well as Palestinian terrorist organizations.
The information was originally published in Farsi by an Iranian website affiliated with the IRGC and quickly republished by Iran’s state-controlled Fars News Agency.
In addition to biographical details and pictures of Netanyahu’s children, the Iranians provided details about the families of former Prime Ministers Ehud Olmert and Ariel Sharon. (Read more from this story HERE)

At a quick glance, the limestone hills of southern Lebanon don’t seem like a good place to invest in real estate. Located near the country’s volatile border with Israel, this narrow slice of land has suffered through a 15-year civil war and several devastating battles with the Jewish state. But over the past few years, about a dozen new villas have sprouted along the narrow roads near the small town of Jouaiya, about 60 miles from Beirut. These opulent homes seem out of place amid the olive groves and fields of grazing sheep, dilapidated farms and dirt roads. A few have orange-tiled roofs, neoclassical columns and large courtyard walls, while others resemble gaudy Chinese pagodas.
Locals say the mansions, some still under construction, belong to middle- and high-level members of Hezbollah, the Shiite militant and political group. The United States and Israel consider Hezbollah a terrorist organization, and the European Union has given the same designation to the group’s armed wing. But over the past 30 years, Lebanon’s Party of God has come to dominate both politics and security in this nation of under 5 million, thanks in part to Iranian largesse, a wealthy foreign diaspora and some shrewd political gamesmanship. It’s also helped many Shiites, a historically impoverished sect in Lebanon, get rich.
But the good times may now be over for Hezbollah and its supporters. Iranian oil profits, which have lubricated the proxy group with hundreds of millions of dollars a year, appear to be drying up. Western sanctions, imposed on Tehran due to its nuclear program, coupled with falling oil prices, have emptied the coffers of the Islamic Republic. Crude now trades at less than $50 per barrel, down from more than $100 in June, due to lower global demand, oversupply in the Middle East and the rise of the American fracking industry. Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly seen its oil exports fall by 60 percent since 2011, and the country’s budget deficit has climbed to an astounding $9 billion.
The result, according to Hezbollah officials and observers close to the party, is that Iran is slashing the amount of money it’s giving to its Lebanese ally. “There are many members…who are now paid their wages much later,” says Khalil, a 40-something Hezbollah commander, who asked to use a pseudonym because he’s not authorized to speak to the media. “Some are getting less money than before.” (Read more about Hezbollah going broke HERE)
The Mexican Drug War has killed an estimated 60,000 people since 2006, but the violence has stayed out of the minds of most US citizens. That is about to change as Islamic extremist groups setting up shop in Mexico.
The House Committee on Homeland Security released a November 2012 report that reveals Islamic terror organizations and networks are indeed exploiting profits from narcotics, and the ease of weapons attainment, and the vast technological abilities of Mexican and other southern cartels that are thriving in Mexico’s lawlessness, along with other southern regions. The report, titled A Line In The Sand: Countering Crime, Violence, and Terror at the Southwest Border, details the growing involvement of Iran and Hezbollah in Mexico and other countries south of the southern US border.
In 2006, the Subcommittee reported on the presence of both Iran and Hezbollah in Latin America. Since then, that presence has continued to grow with Iran now having embassies in 11 Latin American countries that include Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Nicaragua and Uruguay.

In the defense’s version, Wissam Allouche was a former linguist for the U.S. Army who ran a gas station in Northeast San Antonio as he became an American citizen.
But to counterterrorism officials, Allouche, 44, belonged to Hezbollah, falsely claimed to be a U.S. special forces officer during visits to Fort Sam Houston, and even tried to hook up with women at the post, possibly to gain access to sensitive information.
The two pictures emerged during a bail hearing Wednesday for Allouche, whose own statements recorded by investigators or stated in interviews often were contradictory about his allegiances to Hezbollah.
Allouche was arrested by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force here last week after being indicted on charges of not disclosing, during his quest to obtain his U.S. citizenship, his membership in the Amal militia and Hezbollah in Lebanon in the 1980s.
He’s also charged with not disclosing his prior membership in those groups when he applied for a security clearance with the Defense Department as he sought a contracting job.
