Report Reveals Hillary Is Really Considering 2020

Failed 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is reportedly telling close advisers and friends that she hasn’t fully “shut the door” on a 2020 presidential campaign. . .

“Clinton is telling people that she’s not closing the doors to the idea of running in 2020,” CNN reported Jeff Zeleny told the network Sunday morning on “Inside Politics.” “I’m told by three people that as recently as this week, she was telling people that look, given all this news from the indictments, particularly the Roger Stone indictment, she talked to several people, saying ‘look, I’m not closing the doors to this.'”

Although, Zeleny added, he does not believe “that there’s a campaign-in-waiting, or a plan in the works,” or that Clinton is likely to throw her hat into the ring for 2020 unless there’s truly a dearth of qualified Democratic candidates.

That said, according to Zeleny, the rumor is a strong one. “I think we have to at least leave our mind open to the possibility that she is still talking about it. She wants to take on Trump. Could she win a Democratic primary to do it? I don’t know the answer to that.”

The answer to that is likely, “no.” Unlike in the two previous contests Clinton entered, she would be competing against a strong field of Democratic contenders in 2020, each hell-bent on being the Democratic choice to dethrone President Donald Trump. And while the party may still be finding its footing, deciding where on the spectrum from progressive to moderate it wants to be while up against the Republican populist President, one thing is for certain: they’re looking for fresh blood. Hillary Clinton Writes Condolence Letter to Third-Grade Girl Who Lost Class President Election to Boy

By The Blaze. Hillary Clinton wrote a letter to an 8-year-old Maryland girl to console her for losing a class president election to a boy by just one vote, the Washington Post reported.

“As I know too well, it’s not easy when you stand up and put yourself in contention for a role that’s only been sought by boys,” Clinton wrote.

Clinton became the first woman to be nominated as a presidential candidate but lost to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race.

The girl who received Clinton’s letter is Martha Kennedy Morales, a third-grader at a private Quaker school in College Park, Maryland, according to the news outlet. The third-grader campaigned to become class president during a unit on the U.S. government for a combined third- and fourth-grade class. . .

Six ballots in the classroom election were declared invalid because they were not correctly filled out. In the end, Martha lost by a single vote. She was named vice president instead. Some tickets for one stop in Canada for their “An Evening With the Clintons” tour sold for just $5, but now they’ve cut prices by nearly 60% in a deal with Groupon to draw more people. . .

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, a liberal and longtime supporter of both Clintons, last week mocked the pathetic speaking tour. . .

“I get reassigned to another section as the Clintons’ audience space shrinks. But even with all the herding, I’m still looking at large swaths of empty seats — and I cringe at the thought that the Clintons will look out and see that, too. It was only four years ago, after all, that Canadians were clamoring to buy tickets to see the woman who seemed headed for history. Desperate Measures! Bill and Hillary Clinton Resort to Using Groupon to Sell Half-Price Tickets After Their 13-Stop Paid Speaking Tour Fails to Draw the Crowds

By Daily Mail. Bill and Hillary Clinton have been forced to resort to selling half price tickets for their 13-city tour on Groupon in a desperate bid to put bums on seats.

The former president and first lady launched their tour in a Canadian hockey arena last Tuesday to an underwhelming crowd and swaths of empty seats.

Ticket prices were plummeting shortly before the event, with the cheapest seats selling on Stubhub for single-digits – $6.55 Canadian Dollars, or less than $5.

Now the couple are taking drastic action to avoid another embarrassment on the next stop on their An Evening With the Clintons tour.

They have slashed tickets by up to 60 per cent, and even offered them on Groupon, to try and entice more fans to come and listen to them speak. (Read more from “Desperate Measures! As Former Presidents Greeted Donald Trump at Bush Funeral, Hillary Clinton Refused to Even Look at Him

By Inquisitr. Donald Trump crossed paths with Bill and Hillary Clinton for the first time since his Inauguration Day, and it went about as well as everyone probably expected.

President Trump sat in the same row as past presidents at the funeral of George H.W. Bush on Wednesday, and video from the Guardian caught what appeared to be a tense moment between him and the couple he frequently assails on social media. As Trump made his way to the pew at the National Cathedral, he stopped to shake hands with Barack and Michelle Obama while Jimmy Carter gave him a nod from down the row. Three seats down, Bill Clinton also turned his head to Trump. Hillary refused to even look at him.

Many had wondered how Trump and Hillary Clinton might interact, given that the president has spent months public calling for his attorney general to investigate her — repeatedly going against his post-election pledge to retire the “lock her up” chants and allow Hillary and Bill to slip back into private life.

Whistleblower Advocates, Attorneys Condemn FBI Raid on Clinton Foundation Whistleblower

By The Daily Caller. Whistleblower advocates across the political spectrum condemned an FBI raid on the home of a recognized whistleblower who reported potential wrongdoing surrounding about the Clinton Foundation, the Uranium One deal and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Daily Caller News Foundation, in a bombshell report, detailed how 16 FBI agents raided the home of Dennis Cain, a former employee of an FBI contractor, on Nov. 19. They rummaged through his home for six hours even though he told them that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz awarded him whistleblower status, according to Cain’s lawyer, Michael Socarras.

Horowitz instructed a top aide to personally hand-carry the documents to the House and Senate intelligence committees over the summer after he received them from Cain, Socarras said. . .

“I really do question the need for this raid at all,” said Nick Schwellenbach, the investigations director for the Project on Government Oversight, a nonpartisan watchdog group that frequently works with whistleblowers. “On its face it doesn’t seem like it was necessary.”

FBI Raids Home of Whistleblower on Clinton Foundation, Lawyer Says

By The Daily Caller. FBI agents raided the home of a recognized Department of Justice whistleblower who privately delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a government watchdog, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.

The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.

The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges. Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

“The bureau raided my client to seize what he legally gave Congress about the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One,” the whistleblower’s lawyer, Michael Socarras, told TheDCNF, noting that he considered the FBI’s raid to be an “outrageous disregard” of whistleblower protections. Bill and Hillary Clinton Are About to Go Away Forever

By Daily Wire. . .How can we be sure, you ask? Here’s how: Tickets to see them live and hear them blab about their lives are selling for the cost of a Big Mac meal at McDonald’s.

Not enough proof? Well, there’s this, too: New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd is finally sick of them.

The former first couple opened a 13-city speaking tour late last month with a premiere event in Toronto (why they think anyone in Canada wants to hear them whine about Hillary’s crushing defeat in the 2016 presidential election is anybody’s guess). They pulled just 3,000 people to an arena that seats 19,000. . .

And things kept getting worse. Ticket prices for their event in Texas plunged to just $6. Seems no one is interested in hearing them tell “stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking toward the future,” which a press release promised.

Why are Bill and Hillary traveling the country charging people top dollar to hear them bloviate? It’s not the money: The couple made $250 million in the 15 years after Bubba left office (and Hillary made bank selling access — and favors — while she was secretary of state). Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Sugar Land Tour Stop Rescheduled

By Houston Chronicle. Bill and Hillary Clinton’s speaking event in Sugar Land has been rescheduled for a later date due to former president George H. W. Bush’s death, the event organizer announced Monday.

The Clintons, initially scheduled to speak at the Smart Financial Centre Tuesday evening, instead will fly to Washington, D.C., to “pay their respects to President Bush and his family,” Live Nation Marketing Director Brian Birr said in an email.

Bush, who Bill Clinton defeated in the 1992 presidential election, died Friday at age 94. His remains are being transported Monday to the U.S. Capitol, ahead of a memorial service Wednesday morning at the National Cathedral.

Live Nation and the Clintons have yet to announce a new date for the Sugar Land event, which was scheduled to be the third stop in a 13-city tour. Hillary Clinton Calls for Limits on European Migration, but Not for the Reason You Think

Hillary Clinton said Europe should curtail immigration, but only because it inflames right-wing populists.

Speaking to The Guardian, Clinton called on European leaders, including German chancellor Angela Merkel, to signal that “Europe is not going to be able to continue provide refuge and support” to migrants.

“I think Europe needs to get a handle on migration because that is what lit the flame,” Clinton told The Guardian.

“I admire the very generous and compassionate approaches that were taken particularly by leaders like Angela Merkel, but I think it is fair to say Europe has done its part, and must send a very clear message — ‘we are not going to be able to continue provide refuge and support’ — because if we don’t deal with the migration issue it will continue to roil the body politic.” (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Calls for Limits on European Migration, but Not for the Reason You Think” HERE)

You Need a ‘Negative IQ’ to Compare Ivanka’s Email to Hillary’s

On his radio show Tuesday evening, LevinTV host Mark Levin defended Ivanka Trump from the media smears attempting to connect her private email use to Hillary Clinton’s use and illegal scrubbing of an email server on which she discussed classified information.

But first, Levin urged his listeners to be thankful for the blessings that we have in this country

“This is truly such a special country, no thanks to the leftists,” he stated. “And by the way, no thanks to the modern media, either, despite what they may claim.”

Levin continued, discussing the media’s attacks against Ivanka Trump.

“Ivanka Trump is an extraordinary young lady. … She’s an extraordinary businesswoman. She’s an extraordinary daughter. Very loyal to her father. She’s got a lot of poise, and yet they try to destroy her,” Levin commented.

He added: “Now Ivanka Trump apparently used her private email … to do government business. And of course for the Democrats, this is equivalent to Hillary Clinton. But you really do have to have a negative IQ to draw that conclusion, and I’ll explain why.”

Maybe This Is Why Hillary Clinton Thinks She Has Another Shot at the Democratic Nomination

When it comes down to any contest, you size up the competition. So, given all of the negatives Hillary Clinton has right now, why is she possibly thinking about running again? Yes, Democrats like her, but I think if you were to ask a follow-up question concerning her running for president…again, the poll numbers would not be stellar. The progressive base of the Democratic Party, which isn’t small, wants her gone. A lot of the big wigs want a fresh start as well.

Hillary comes off as inauthentic, not trustworthy, and someone who plays by their own rules. Worse, the Clintons come off as a couple that thinks the rules don’t apply to them. As many have noted during the 2016 election, all of these criticisms from their days in the White House, and on the campaign trail, were resurrected by the email fiasco Hillary failed miserably to downplay. Rural voters probably won’t listen to her either, and if she tries, the issue of trust comes into play. No one outside of the Acela Corridor seems to think she’s playing with a full deck. These are the same areas that voted against her and made Donald Trump our president. . .

With the 2018 midterms in the rearview mirror, several Democrats are gearing up for the 2020 presidential contest. But so far, no Democrat has attracted broad support from the party’s base, according to a new Hill.TV American Barometer poll.

The survey, conducted among 680 registered voters who identified themselves as Democrats or independents, found that “none of the above” was the most popular choice among potential 2020 challengers to President Trump.

According to WSJ, Hillary Will Run Again

Hillary Rodham Clinton will run for president again in 2020, and she has reinvented herself in order to do it.

At least, that is what is online Sunday afternoon at the Wall Street Journal. The headline reads “Hillary Will Run Again”, the subhead reads “Reinventing herself as a liberal firebrand, Mrs. Clinton will easily capture the 2020 nomination,” the authors are Mark Penn and Andrew Stein, and it runs in print on Monday.

“Get ready for Hillary Clinton 4.0. More than 30 years in the making, this new version of Mrs. Clinton, when she runs for president in 2020, will come full circle—back to the universal-health-care-promoting progressive firebrand of 1994,” it begins. “True to her name, Mrs. Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies. She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.”

Warning their excited target audience — who are already dancing in the virtual streets on social media — not to “pay much attention to the ‘I won’t run’ declarations,” they argue that the generation of Democrats who have been salivating over a power vacuum after the reign of the Clintons have proved too incompetent to take the reins. . .

The piece runs through a brief history of slime, covering Hillary classics from “It Takes a Village” through the Hope and Change desert (with a brief layover in “she won more delegates than him” land), and on into the Bernie Sanders doldrums. (You know, doldrums in the oceanic sense, not the hum-drummery sense.) Eventually it moves into newer songs like losing the midwest. Then finally to the crescendo.
