Clinton Grilled About Husband’s White House Sex Scandal. Her Response Means Everything.

By The Blaze. Hillary Clinton claimed Sunday that her husband’s extramarital affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the 1990s was not an “abuse of power.”

The former secretary of state also expressed her belief that then-President Bill Clinton was right to not resign after he was impeached for lying and obstructing justice.

“Asbolutely not,” Clinton said when asked on CBS’ “Sunday Morning” whether her husband should have resigned the presidency over his affair and the subsequent scandal. . .

When pressed about whether a sexual relationship between the world’s most powerful leader and an office intern constitutes an imbalance of power, Clinton merely noted that both individuals were adults at the time. . .

“But let me ask you this: where’s the investigation into the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made and which he dismisses, denies, and ridicules,” Clinton said.

Hillary Clinton Says Husband’s Affair Was Not an Abuse of Power

By Fox News. Hillary Clinton vehemently denied in an interview Sunday that her husband’s extramarital affair with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky was an abuse of power and added that former President Bill Clinton was right not to resign amid a scandal that led to his impeachment on perjury and obstruction charges.

“Absolutely not,” the former first lady said during the CBS “Sunday Morning” interview when asked if Bill Clinton should have stepped down.

“It wasn’t an abuse of power?” CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil asked.

Clinton responded: “No. No.”

Hillary Clinton, who went on to be elected to the Senate and served as President Obama’s secretary of state, said the relationship was not an abuse of power because Lewinsky “was an adult.” At the time of the affair, Lewinsky was 22. Security Clearances for Hillary Clinton and Staffers Are Now Revoked – but for an Odd Reason

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) released a letter Friday that revealed Hillary Clinton had her security clearance revoked along with 5 of her staffers – but for a very odd reason.

According to the letter from Grassley, Clinton herself asked that the security clearances be revoked.

“At her request, former Secretary Clinton’s security clearance was administratively withdrawn on August 30, 2018,” read the letter.

“As we previously informed the committee, the individuals had been granted access to classified information through a request made by Secretary Clinton designating them as researches,” the letter to Grassley explained.

Critics of the former secretary of state have demanded that her security clearance be revoked on the basis that she defied official rules and regulations on security when she kept her own private email server. Hillary Defends Bill, Claims Kavanaugh Allegations Are Worse

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made head-scratching remarks in a new interview with CNN while defending her husband against the allegations of sexual misconduct that he has faced over the years. . .

“You say that you are going to talk about the difficulties that your husband went through, that you went through,” [CNN reporter] Amanpour said. “Obviously you’re going to be prepared to have questions about that moment in 1998, the impeachment, the allegations of sexual [misconduct] against your own husband.”

“Are you prepared to answer those questions?” Amanpour asked. “Is he prepared to answer them? And how do you see that similar or different from what President Trump is being accused of and Kavanaugh and others today?”

Clinton responded by saying the allegations against her husband were totally different because partisan politics were involved.

“There’s a very significant difference,” Clinton responded. “And that is the intense, long-lasting partisan investigation that was conducted in the ’90s.” (Read more from “Hillary Defends Bill, Claims Kavanaugh Allegations Are Worse” HERE)

Want to Spend an Evening With the Clintons? Look No Further.

By Townhall. As if things couldn’t get worse for President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, they’ve managed to find the icing on the cake. The two just launched a cross country tour they’re calling “An Evening With The Clintons.” They’re branding this tour as an “insider” look at Washington, D.C. and who better to take you through the political arena than the Clintons?

“Experience a one-of-a-kind conversation with two individuals who have helped shape our world and had a front seat to some of the most important moments in modern history,” the website says. “From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here.”

The duo will launch the tour beginning Nov. 18, after the midterm election, and into mid-2019. They’re going to typical Democratic strongholds, like Philadelphia, Seattle, Detroit, Los Angeles and Boston. The two will also travel outside of the United States, to Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. (Read more from “Want to Spend an Evening With the Clintons? Look No Further.” HERE)

Ken Starr: Oh, I Was ‘This’ Close to Charging ‘Crooked Clinton’ With Perjury

As the Russia collusion probe drags on with no evidence to point to the Trump 2016 campaign working with the Kremlin to tilt a presidential election, the capital is awash with overhype, overreactions, and lust for impeachment of President Donald J. Trump. The reason: he beat Hillary Clinton. It’s the biggest case of sour grapes in recent memory. It also shows that when American liberals lose, it can be incredibly entertaining. News flash: in American, where free and fair elections are held, often times your side loses. Get over it. But since there’s a special counsel, Robert Mueller, digging through the Trump world, let’s not forget that maybe this whole episode in American politics could be one of the best.

Both sides hate each other, there’s a sense of anger, but also clarity, at least for me; we know who the enemy is and their party’s symbol is a jacka…—sorry, it’s a donkey. Some say that Hillary and Trump being the two contenders for the White House shows how low we’ve gone in politics. I suggest it’s what it’s always been, an overly sanctified and idealistic venture whose craft is selling voters that you’re not going to sell them down river, which is exactly what happens. It’s a snake pit.

Clinton and Trump also share the special counsel/independent counsel (though the latter is a bit different) chapter in their public lives, though with everyone writing books as of late, Ken Starr, the former special prosecutor who looked into the Clintons, said he was this close to charging Hillary Clinton with perjury during the Whitewater investigation. To make a long story short, it was a probe into some shady real estate dealings the power couple had executed in the late 1970s. Starr describes Hillary’s testimony as mendacious:

Bombshell: FEC Records Indicate Hillary Campaign Illegally Laundered $84 Million; Cohen Deletes Important Hillary-Related Tweet

By The Federalist. The press continues to feed the dying Russia collusion conspiracy theory, spending Friday’s news cycle regurgitating Democrat talking points from the just-filed Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act lawsuit against the Trump campaign, WikiLeaks, and Russia.

Yet the mainstream media took no notice of last week’s federal court filing that exposes an $84 million money-laundering conspiracy the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign executed during the 2016 presidential election in violation of federal campaign-finance law.

That lawsuit, filed last week in a DC district court, summarizes the DNC-Clinton conspiracy and provides detailed evidence from Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings confirming the complaint’s allegations that Democrats undertook an extensive scheme to violate federal campaign limits. . .

Dan Backer, a campaign-finance lawyer and attorney-of-record in the lawsuit, explained the underlying law in an article for Investor’s Business Daily: Under federal law, “an individual donor can contribute $2,700 to any candidate, $10,000 to any state party committee, and (during the 2016 cycle) $33,400 to a national party’s main account. These groups can all get together and take a single check from a donor for the sum of those contribution limits—it’s legal because the donor cannot exceed the base limit for any one recipient. And state parties can make unlimited transfer to their national party.”

This legal loophole allows “bundlers” to raise large sums of money from wealthy donors—more than $400,000 at a time—filtering the funds to the national committees. Democrats and Republicans alike exploit this tactic. But once the money reaches the national committees, other limits apply. Cohen Deletes Tweet Predicting Clinton Would Go to Jail

By NY Post. A day after pleading guilty to a swarm of criminal charges that will land him behind bars, President Trump’s longtime lawyer deleted a gloating 2015 tweet predicting that Hillary Clinton would end up in the slammer.

“@HillaryClinton when you go to prison for defrauding America and perjury, your room and board will be free!” Trump’s self-described fixer Michael Cohen tweeted that December.

Critics including comedian Kathy Griffin gleefully reposted the tweet, which was removed sometime Wednesday morning.

Cohen in court Tuesday described how he violated campaign finance laws by arranging hush-money payments to porn vixen Stormy Daniels and Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal. (Read more from “Cohen Deletes Tweet Predicting Clinton Would Go to Jail” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Tweets to 11-Year-Old Pledge Kneeler: ‘Keep up the Good Work’

On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton praised a young student who was disciplined for kneeling during the Pledge of Allegiance.

Clinton commented on a NowThis report on Mariana Taylor, an 11-year-old sixth-grade student from Maryland who refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in class. Clinton said Taylor had “courage” for kneeling during the Pledge and told her to “keep up the good work.”

In February, Taylor was inspired by the NFL protests instigated by Colin Kaepernick and decided to echo those national anthem protests. The Washington Post reported that after Mariana had written a paper about Kaepernick for her English class at Catonsville Middle School, she began kneeling for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Taylor claims that she was reprimanded by her teacher in response, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland became involved in her case, arguing for her right to protest the Pledge. The school denied punishing Taylor in a statement.

“We know of no [Baltimore County Public Schools] student who has been reprimanded or punished for nonparticipation in patriotic observances,” the school said. “We fully support students’ rights and encourage student voice as articulated in board policy.” (For more from the author of “Hillary Clinton Tweets to 11-Year-Old Pledge Kneeler: ‘Keep up the Good Work’” HERE)

In 2010, Hillary Revealed the Type of Relationship Obama Wanted With Russia

By The Daily Wire. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a 2010 interview on Russian television with Vladimir Pozner that the Obama administration wanted to “help strengthen Russia.” . . .

“Many of our businesses want to have their business leaders come and have open-ended visas and similarly a lot of Russians want to be able to come and have as much time as they need,” Clinton continued. “That’s what I would like to work towards.”

“One of the fears that I hear from Russia is that somehow the United States wants Russia to be weak,” Clinton added. “That could not be farther from the truth. Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

Trump Refuses to Denounce Putin Over Election Meddling at Summit, Blames ‘Both Countries’

By CNBC. President Donald Trump on Monday said at a joint briefing with Russian President Vladimir Putin that while he had “great confidence” in the U.S. intelligence community, Putin was “extremely strong and powerful in his denial” that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The president blamed “both countries” for the strained relationship. When a reporter asked the president if he would denounce Russia’s efforts to interfere in the presidential election, Trump raised the issue of Hillary Clinton’s email server.

“I think it’s a disgrace we can’t get Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 e-mails. I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today,” Trump said. Rand Paul Drops Bombshell on Hillary/Russia Collusion

By Daily Wire. On Wednesday morning, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer that the only person we have evidence of colluding with Russia is twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, not President Donald Trump.

Sen. Paul made his comments in the aftermath of Trump’s controversial meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Paul has been a fierce defender of the president as Trump faces backlash from both sides of the aisle for seemingly suggesting he did not believe U.S. intel agencies about Russian meddling in the 2016 election — though he walked back the remark on Tuesday. . .

“The president sees the Mueller investigation; he sees all these accusations from partisan Democrats, Hillary Clinton, saying ‘Oh, he colluded with the Russians,'” explained Paul.

“The only people who we actually know colluded with the Russians were Hillary Clinton who paid a British agent who paid Russians for information for the dossier,” he declared, referencing the so-called “Steele dossier” which was funded by Hillary and the DNC. Sen. Rand Paul Goes After John Brennan After He Calls Trump ‘Treasonous’

By The Daily Caller. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul went after former CIA director John Brennan following his comments calling President Trump “treasonous” Wednesday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“The former director of the CIA, you think of that as a sober minded person, responsible person, kind of a James Bond with maybe an advanced degree. Here you have a naked partisan nut cake describing a press conference as treason,” said Carlson. “How should that make us feel as American citizens?”

“It makes me wonder whether he should be getting a government pension if he’s going to be disrespecting the commander-in-chief, calling the president treasonous. That’s about as overtop as you can imagine,” responded Paul.

Tucker then brought up that “treason is a death penalty offense” and yet that is how Brennan “is describing views.”

“You have to realize John Brennan started his illustrious career by voting for the Communist Party, you know that’s who he wanted to win the presidency, back in the 70s,” Paul said. “When he came to be head of the CIA, I filibustered him because I thought he was bad news from the very beginning.” (Read more from “Sen. James Woods Goes off on Hillary in What Could Be His Best Tweet Ever

Hillary Clinton is on the comeback trail. She’s officially out of the woods, running second in polls regarding 2020 Democrat contenders and is even portraying herself as a woman of the people by flying commercial transportation (a short trip on Delta which seemed to have a conspicuous number of media figures present at the airport and on the flight).

All of these facts ought to be great news for conservatives. Please, let’s have a 2020 rematch, except one where Hillary won’t have a two-to-one advantage in campaign funds, one where Trump has already proven himself as a reliable conservative and one where the Democrats continue to drift further and further to the left without any real evidence that’s where the electorate is going.

Perhaps the recent trip on Delta was darkly apropos one, since one trivia Twitter account decided to post a surprising fact about your chances of becoming the president of this great country.

. . .

Hrm. Who could it be? I don’t think it’s Martha from “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Then again, it certainly sounds like someone who might be experiencing the same marital issues she was…

By the way, rumors of Hillary’s boozing aren’t exactly idle speculation. One of the trove WikiLeaks emails instructs John Podesta to “sober her up some,” which could have been a joke.
