Amazon Deletes 1 Star Review of Hillary Clinton’s New Book

Amazon has been monitoring and deleting reviews after Hillary Clinton’s new book was greeted with a torrent of criticism on the day it was released . . .

Reviews of What Happened have been mixed, with some suggesting it Clinton uses it as an opportunity to blame others – such as Bernie Sanders and Vladimir Putin – for her failure, rather than herself. In The New York Times, which supported Clinton’s campaign, Jennifer Senior writes that the book is “a score-settling jubilee”.

The readers on Amazon, meanwhile, are even more divided – but not all of them have read the book. The online retail giant has a “verified purchase” option to signpost whether reviewers have bought a product, and none of the 42 reviewers leaving comments on Tuesday had done so.

Few of the one-star reviews remain on the website, but reports and screengrabs show that reviewers used the space to criticize the former First Lady and spread conspiracy theories about her and Bill Clinton. (Read more from “Amazon Deletes 1 Star Review of Hillary Clinton’s New Book” HERE)

The Scandal Hillary Clinton Wants You to Forget About

Hillary Clinton’s 450-page book attempting to excuse her failed 2016 presidential campaign, “What Happened,” conveniently ignores one of the election’s biggest scandals: then-Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile’s leaking of debate questions to Clinton during the Democratic primary — a clear-cut example of DNC officials rigging the primary in favor of Clinton.

The fact that Brazile leaked questions to Clinton before two different primary debates only came out when WikiLeaks published stolen emails from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta in October. But Clinton writes that revelation out of history in her book, which was reviewed by The Daily Caller. She dismisses reporting about the leaked emails as the media inventing a story out of nothing.

“In the end, though, most of John’s emails were . . . boring,” she claims. “They revealed the nuts and bolts of a campaign at work, with staffers debating policies, editing speeches, and kibitzing about the daily ups and downs of the election.”

“No single day was that bad, but it added up, and we could never get past it. Wikileaks played into people’s fascination with ‘pulling back the curtain.’ Anything said behind closed doors is automatically considered more interesting, important, and honest than things said in public. It’s even better if you have to do a little legwork and google around for the information,” Clinton writes, before taking a clear shot at the press over their coverage of the Podesta emails. Congressman Demands Russia-Collusion Probe Into Hillary

Democrats have been probing for more than a year allegations that the Trump administration colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election but have not presented any evidence.

Yet, the ties of Hillary Clinton and her family’s foundation to Russia have been ignored.

As secretary of state, Clinton approved a deal to sell Uranium One, a company that controlled a fifth of U.S. uranium production, to the Russian atomic agency Rosatom. As reported by the New York Times, nine investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation . . .

As the investigation into Donald Trump’s ties to Russia stretches on, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., is demanding a special prosecutor investigate the president’s former opponent.

Rohrabacher says Congress should probe possible collusion between the Clinton Foundation and Russia. (Read more from “Congressman Demands Russian-Collusion Probe Into Hillary” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Says Election Defeat Left Her ‘Gobsmacked’

Hillary Clinton said Sunday in her first TV interview since Election Day that she was just “gobsmacked, wiped out” after losing the presidential election to Donald Trump.

Clinton, who is releasing a new memoir Tuesday titled “What Happened” that points fingers and accepts responsibility for her defeat, also told CBS News’ “Sunday Morning” host Jane Pauley that she won’t ever run for office again.

“I am done with being a candidate, but I’m not done with politics because I believe that our country’s future is at stake,” Clinton said during the interview at her home in Chappaqua, New York.

Asked how she was doing, Clinton confessed that the loss still stings. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Says Election Defeat Left Her ‘Gobsmacked'” HERE)

Hillary Describes Election Night Phone Call With Trump

Hillary Clinton writes in her new memoir that her election night phone call with Donald Trump was “without a doubt one of the strangest moments of my life,” CNN reports.

Clinton wrote that she was “numb” during the call.

“I congratulated Trump and offered to do anything I could to make sure the transition was smooth,” she wrote in “What Happened.”

“It was all perfectly nice and weirdly ordinary, like calling a neighbor to say you can’t make it to his barbecue. It was mercifully brief … I was numb. It was all so shocking,” she wrote, according to CNN, which obtained the book early.

CNN also reported that Clinton’s book, “oozes with contempt for Trump, the campaign he ran and the President he has become.” (Read more from “Hillary Describes Election Night Phone Call With Trump” HERE)

Bill Clinton’s Childhood Friend: Hillary in No Position to Complain About ‘Creepy’ Men

In her new election memoir “What Happened,” former Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton says her “skin crawled” during a debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump . . .

But some women aren’t buying Clinton’s attempt at playing the victim.

Among them is Dolly Kyle, childhood friend of “Billy” Clinton, a longtime romantic partner of the former president and the author of the 2016 election blockbuster “Hillary the Other Woman.”

She scoffed at the idea Hillary Clinton could have been discomfited standing next to Trump.

“First, how does Hillary Clinton define ‘creepy?’” she asked. “She is married to a rapist and serial sex abuser. She hangs out with John Podesta, Sidney Blumenthal, George Soros and Anthony Weiner, among other swamp dwellers. Then she calls Donald Trump ‘creepy’ for standing too close to her on a public stage. That would be funny if it weren’t so pitiful. (Read more from “Bill Clinton’s Childhood Friend: Hillary in No Position to Complain About ‘Creepy’ Men” HERE)

Judge Orders New Searches of Hillary’s Benghazi Emails

A federal judge has ordered the State Department to search government email accounts of Hillary Clinton’s aides for information concerning the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi attacks that took the lives of four Americans.

Washington D.C. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ordered the State Department on Tuesday to search government email accounts belonging to Clinton former deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin, former chief of staff Cheryl Mills and former director of policy planning Jake Sullivan. The ruling was made in response to a lawsuit filed by government watchdog Judicial Watch.

The accounts are expected to contain communications between Clinton, who was secretary of state at the time, and her staff.

“The court finds that State’s search was inadequate insofar as it did not search the official state.gov e-mail accounts of Secretary Clinton’s three aides, and orders State to conduct a supplemental search of those accounts,” the ruling stated.

Judge Mehta, an Obama appointee, explained that the State Department is unlikely able to “adequately” access emails sent from Clinton’s private server. However, he said, the department “has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records.” (Read more from “Judge Orders New Searches of Hillary’s Benghazi Emails” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Has a New Career Path

Hillary Clinton is considering becoming a Methodist minister or lay preacher, according to her pastor.

Bill Shillady, Clinton’s spiritual advisor and the author of a forthcoming book of the failed presidential candidate’s daily devotionals, told this to The Atlantic.

The Atlantic’s August 6 article, “Hillary Wants to Preach,” by Emma Green, explores Clinton’s apparent dream of being an ordained Methodist minister. The article speculates that Clinton has held back from discussing her faith too much in public recently, and this could be one of the reasons why she lost in 2016. It also notes that Clinton has been mocked or had her sincerity questioned when she speaks about religion.

“Last fall, the former Newsweek editor Kenneth Woodward revealed that Clinton told him in 1994 that she thought ‘all the time’ about becoming an ordained Methodist minister,” Green wrote. Woodward said Clinton asked him not to write about that for fear of looking too “pious.” (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Has a New Career Path” HERE)

Yes, Hillary Clinton Would Have Been Worse

WaPo “conservative” pines for Hillary … I’ve written about the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin time and time again. She’s a left-coast liberal who moved east and has pretended to be a conservative for years. Well, she just showed how liberal she is by tweeting: “Those people who said HRC would have been worse were really, really really wrong.”

It’s just a movie, folksUSA Today just ran a story talking about how “Twitter” thinks Bruce Willis’ new remake of “Death Wish” is “alt-right.” Everything you don’t like that may show men being men isn’t “alt-right.”

COSMOPOLITAN …

It means you’re a coastal elite … The media is really confused about Trump aide Stephen Miller using the word “cosmopolitan” as a pejorative against CNN’s Jim Acosta. It’s pretty simple: It means he has a coastal elite bias. Anyone with half a brain could figure that out. Does that mean the folks at Politico don’t have half a brain? Probably …

Guys, he’s Jewish … The most bizarre take on CosmopolitanGate was from Politico Magazine, where former TV guy Jeff Greenfield wrote about “The Ugly History of Stephen Miller’s ‘Cosmopolitan’ Epithet.” You guessed it, guys, according to Greenfield, “the insult has its roots in Soviet anti-Semitism.” Get it? Miller and the White House are anti-Semites. Except, well, Miller is Jewish.

Speaking of cosmopolitan … The NY Daily News’ Shaun King wants readers to think that NFL owners not signing Colin Kaepernick is a “fundamental abuse” of the ministry of Jesus Christ. He said it’s “un-Christian.” No, really, he did. NewsBusters has the story.

Clinton Pay to Play? Just Check These New Emails From Huma

Former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin used her personal email account to transmit classified documents and coordinate favors for Clinton donors, according to emails obtained by Judicial Watch Wednesday.

Judicial Watch obtained the documents as part of a lawsuit filed after the State Department failed to respond to a March 2015 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The newly-obtained documents include 91 Clinton email exchanges that were not turned over to the State Department, contradicting Clinton’s claim that, “as far as she knew,” she had turned over all of her government emails.

The emails reveal multiple instances in which Abedin used her personal account to send and receive classified documents as well as arrange personal favors for Clinton donors and political allies on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s behalf.

“Pay to play, classified information mishandling, influence peddling, cover ups—these new emails show why the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s conduct must be resumed,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.

In one particularly blatant example of nefarious activity, Miguel Lausell, a Puerto Rican Telecom executive and donor of over $1 million to the Clinton Library, requested through Clinton Foundation executive Doug Band that a specific candidate be considered for the U.S. ambassadorship to Puerto Rico. The following day in April 2009, a Clinton aide passed Lausell’s message to Clinton’s special assistants and instructed them to “make sure there is a response.” It remains unclear whether the person in question received the ambassadorship as the name is redacted.
