Donald Trump’s lengthy press conference Wednesday during DNC week made headlines for a number of reasons, not the least of which being his call on Russia to find Hillary Clinton’s 30,00 missing emails.

But amazingly, what the mainstream media has refused to cover is while Trump regularly and openly speaks to the press, Hillary Clinton is hiding.

It has been 236 DAYS since Hillary Clinton’s last press conference on Dec. 4, 2015.

Hillary’s ‘Hunger Games’: May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor

During her Tuesday night remarks at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia actress Elizabeth Banks made a brief reference to her role in The Hunger Games series, but a far more substantive one developed over the course of the night.

Tuesday night’s theme at the convention was “Fights of Her Life,” meant to highlight the issues that Clinton has championed throughout her political career. Two sections to this theme were “kids and families” and “women and families.” What this essentially panned out to was a laundry list of child advocates shilling for the Democrat nominee followed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund CEO Cecile Richards doing the same thing.

What this equated two was an odd juxtaposition of policies that offer nine months of existential uncertainty for children, while lauding policies that direct huge amounts of public funding into programs meant to supplement and supplant the role of their parents.

Richards, whose organization made its first-ever primary endorsement for Hillary Clinton earlier this year, told the crowd that the former Secretary of State “will always stand up for the rights of every woman to access a full range of reproductive health care, including abortion, no matter her reproductive status.”

She then went on to add that Donald Trump’s statements about banning abortion, defunding her organization, and nominate pro-life judges to the Supreme Court are rooted in a “deeply disturbing worldview.”

Want and even more disturbing worldview? How about one that promises kids the world, so long as their mothers choose not to kill them.

It’s kind of like The Hunger Games, only instead of kids dying in mortal combat on state television, they die at the hands of an abortionist discreetly tucked away from the public eye.

In the dystopian world of Panem, described in the young adult fiction series by Suzanne Collins, children are pitted against each other by a totalitarian state in a massive annual fight to the death, but the surviving champions get to live out the rest of their days in state-furnished luxury.

In 2016 America, the kind of world that Clinton and Richards are pushing for (since safe, legal, and rare is apparently out the window now) is one where the state will fund a system where unborn children can be killed at any point, even up to birth, where they will then enter a statist’s paradise where — instead of eating lavish dinners off of mahogany tables — every aspect of their development is funded and scrutinized at every stage of development by an all-controlling federal government in the form of increased education budgets for state schools, more powerful teachers unions and more federal programs.

What other message could the Democrat Party possibly be sending to America’s children when Donna Brazile says that kids “have a champion” in Hillary Clinton before handing the limelight over to a woman who makes a living as the head of an organization that kills over 300,000 of them in utero every single year?

This contradiction — standing up for ostensibly pro-child policies while also calling for allowing their murder — isn’t the only parallel between a statist, pro-abortion Democrat vision and Collins’ Panem, but it’s one that the DNC has no problem putting it on national television.

Elizabeth Warren Speech at DNC Is Actually a Stunning Indictment of Obama and Hillary

On Monday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA (F, 16%) spoke at the Democratic National Convention. While she intended to throw her political tomahawk at Republicans, she actually hit Obama.

In her remarks, Warren argued, “Washington works great for those at the top,” and that the favoritism for the elite has been facilitated only by Republicans.

Well, I have news for her. Those at the top have benefited more from the Obama administration than from any other president in history.

As a candidate, Obama promised to shut the White House doors to lobbyists – and curtail the revolving door mentality of administration officials rotating among government positions and high paying lobbying jobs.

Yet, it’s never been worse. In 2015 alone, there were 70 K street lobbyists who accepted powerful jobs in the White House. In 2014, Politico reported that Obama had decided to reverse part of a lobbyist ban put in place by President George W. Bush. Furthermore, they reported, “The Obama administration will release a new rule this week, which is expected to allow registered lobbyists to participate in policymaking deliberations in an advisory role.”

So, big corporations are going to write our laws? You’ve got to be kidding me!

Perhaps the lobbyist’s new role in drafting legislation can explain the White House visitor log, which certainly makes plenty of time for “those at the top.”

But it’s not just the cronyism that has Elizabeth Warren upset. She also went on a tirade against big banks, tax and regulatory loopholes, and special interests.

When giant companies wanted more tax loopholes, Washington got it done.

When huge energy companies wanted to tear up our environment, Washington got it done.

When enormous Wall Street banks wanted new regulatory loopholes, Washington got it done.

They sure did, Senator Warren, and it was all happened under the man who promised “change,” President Barack Obama.

Take, for example, a bill that Congress passed in December 2015, which provided $630 billion in tax breaks to special interests and lobbyists. It included specific tax cuts to industries like Puerto Rican Rum manufacturers, NASCAR, and the Hollywood film industry.

In my December analysis of the crony tax breaks, I wrote:

[H]ow lucrative are these tax breaks for K street? Americans for Tax Fairness in 2014 analyzed this very question. They found that corporate American hired a battalion of 1,359 lobbyists to infiltrate Capitol Hill [and the White House] at a cost of $2.9 billion.

Did President Obama reject the tax package as a “handout to lobbyists” or veto the legislation as “only benefiting the elites”? Absolutely not.

Regarding the “huge energy companies” that Senator Warren rails against, she should note that no Administration is more to blame for cronyism in the energy world than that of President Obama. This was the president that awarded a big donor a $535 million loan to fund a solar company named Solynda. Touted as an opportunity to provide clean energy and support 4,000 new jobs, this energy company went bankrupt on the backs of taxpayers.

At other times, it appears the Obama Administration’s energy policy is synonymous with political donations. In that sense, I suppose Obama really is trying to go “green.” In July 2012, Breitbart highlighted just a few of Obama’s cronies that received taxpayer funded loans, writing,

[Steve] Westley, who bundled between $700,000 and $1 million for Obama’s two campaigns and sits on an Energy Department advisory board, also unabashedly mixes politics and business. His venture firm, the Westley Group, saw federal green energy dollars steered to at least four companies in his portfolio.

I wonder if Senator Warren is referring to these shenanigans when she directs her angst towards Washington’s support of the big guy?

Finally, the Obama Administration is the king of Wall Street cronyism. Take Obama’s former National Economic Director, Larry Summers. Since his departure, he has been routinely paid millions as a keynote speaker by JP Morgan, and Hedge Bermuda Global Hedge Fund, among others.

David Markowitz, a former top assistant at the Securities and Exchange Commission under Obama, has also cleaned up in his new job as a general counsel at Goldman Sachs. Obama’s former Budget Director, has likewise decamped for a Vice Chairmanship at Citibank? The list goes on.

Contrary to popular myth, Obama never took on Wall Street. He bailed them out. Obama took the banks deemed “too big to fail,” saved them, and made them even larger. Consider this analysis from MIT economist, Simon Johnson in his book, 13 Bankers:

In the end, the major banks got business as usual. The shake out of 2008 left the big banks even bigger. Bank of American absorbed Countrywide and Merrill Lynch – and watched its assets grow from $1.7 trillion at the end of 2007 to $2.3 trillion in September 2009. JPMorgan grew from $1.6 trillion to $2 trillion.” And “…By the end of 2009, five banks together had over 95 percent of the market for derivative contracts trade by U.S. banks.

In fact, if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, the Wall Street cronyism is likely to be more pronounced than even under Obama. After all, Clinton is already bought and paid for. Since 2001, Bill and Hillary Clinton have made $153 million by delivering speeches to big corporations. That amount includes $7.7 million to big Wall Street banks.

Clinton has even proven she’s willing to promote legislation that supports the titans of Wall Street, for the right price. As the Washington Times reported in 2015, “Mrs. Clinton introduced a bill when she was New York’s junior Senator that allowed a donor to the Clinton Foundation to use tax-exempt bonds to build a shopping center in Syracuse, New York…”

In fact, if there is one candidate that is most friendly to the big guys on Wall Street, it is Clinton. The Wall Street Journal reported in May that half of all Hillary’s campaign contributions had come from Wall Street. On the other hand, Trump only garnered 1 percent of his from the same crowd.

Elizabeth Warren is absolutely correct; we can’t have another eight years of politicians who are only interested in enriching their friends and donors – or those simply looking out for the big guy. That is what we received under Obama; that is certainly what we’ll receive in Hillary. Warren didn’t realize it, but in calling for an end to favors for big business, she was actually urging voters to reject Obama, and thus reject Hillary. I agree. Clinton’s Claim About Benghazi Sparks Instant Outrage

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sought to distance herself further from the deaths of four Americans in the Benghazi attacks during an interview with 60 Minutes that was broadcast Sunday.

Although Clinton said in the interview that, as America’s secretary of state, she “took responsibility” after the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, she also pointed the finger at others for security failings before they took place.

Clinton said she was not at fault for the Benghazi attacks in which four Americans were killed, citing the multiple investigations into the events and the fact that none of them charged her with negligence.

She said that after the attacks, she took a leadership role to prevent future such incidents.

“When this happened in Benghazi, I immediately stood up an independent committee – distinguished Americans, military and civilian experts,” she said. “They came out and they said, ‘You know, the ball was dropped – in security. And, you know, some of the decisions that were made, probably should have been rethought.’”

CBS’s Scott Pelley then asked, “But wasn’t that your ball to carry?”

“No, it wasn’t. It was not my ball to carry,” Clinton said.

“Read all of the reports, all many hundreds of pages of them, including this latest one, which was a political exercise from the very beginning,” she said, then added a comment about pre-attack reports. “Those never reached me. Those never came to my attention.”

Rick Moran, writing on The American Thinker, said even if that were true, Clinton would still be responsible as the head of the State Department.

“If the alarming reports from Libya about the lack of security at the diplomatic compound never reached her desk, her top aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills should have been fired,” he wrote. “Someone, somewhere, higher than a mid level functionary must have seen those requests for additional security help. Breaking: Right After Bernie’s Endorsement, something MASSIVE Happened Hillary Never Expected

Dozens of Bernie Sanders delegates walked out of the arena in protest and entered the media tent at the Democratic National Convention minutes after Hillary Clinton was declared the party’s nominee.

Shortly after Clinton officially won the nomination, supporters of Sanders, her primary rival, clogged the hallways while chanting “this is what democracy looks like” and “this is our country.” From another side of the arena, several people wearing Black Lives Matter shirts also joined in as the group headed outside to the media tent.

When asked if they were being forced out of the arena, one woman clad in a Sanders T-shirt said they were leaving voluntarily, adding, “It’s been a tough day.”

As a group of Sanders supporters entered the media tent, they were swarmed by reporters with cameras and iPhones.

Several people decked out in Sanders attire were also escorted out of the arena by convention staff. IRS Just Dealt Hillary a Massive Blow She Didn’t See Coming, Investigation Being Launched…

By Ricard Pollock. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen referred congressional charges of corrupt Clinton Foundation “pay-to-play” activities to his tax agency’s exempt operations office for investigation, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is “lawless.”

The initiative is being led by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican who serves as the vice chairwoman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which oversees FTC. The FTC regulates public charities alongside the IRS.

The lawmakers charged the Clinton Foundation is a “lawless ‘pay-to-play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years and should be investigated.”

Koskinen’s July 22 reply came only a week after the House Republicans contacted the tax agency. It arrived to their offices Monday, the first opening day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Clinton Fundraises off Polls Showing Her Losing

By Jesse Byrnes. Hillary Clinton’s campaign is fundraising off polls that show her lead over Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has evaporated.

“I’m pointing this out because it’s part of a broader trend,” Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook wrote in an email to supporters of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee about the polling.

“Poll after poll is showing that Trump has been eating away at our lead, and after his convention, he’s erased it entirely,” Mook added.

While the campaign aide argued they expected “some of that,” as candidates traditionally get a bounce after their conventions, “that doesn’t make these next few weeks any less critical.”

The fundraising appeal asks for supporters to pitch in $1 for Clinton’s campaign. A button in the email directs viewers to the campaign website where amounts range from $5 to $500. (Read more from “Clinton Fundraises off Polls Showing Her Losing” HERE)

Asked if she felt threatened by the Republican National Convention crowd’s repeated chants to “lock her up,” Hillary Clinton said the refrain instead left her feeling pretty down.

“It felt very sad, Scott,” Clinton told CBS’ “60 Minutes” host Scott Pelley on Sunday. “I mean—I don’t know what their convention was about, other than criticizing me. I seem to be the only unifying theme that they had.”

It’s not just Republicans that want presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in prison.

At a lively Sunday march in support of former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, chants of “lock her up,” “Hillary for Prison” signs and t-shirts and calls for indictment were common among the most ardent supporters of Mr. Sanders, who arrived in Philadelphia to make their voices heard to the delegates attending the Democratic National Convention.

I mean–I don’t know what the Democrat National Convention is all about, other than criticizing Hillary. She seems to be the only unifying theme that the Democrats have. Hollywood’s Been Pushing a Hillary Presidency for 25 Years

A host of Hollywood celebrities are descending on Philadelphia to help crown Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee. Lena Dunham, Eva Longoria, Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks and Tony Goldwyn are only some of the names who’ll be on hand to cheer Hillary. (Yes, the guy who plays a President on a show called Scandal is plugging for Hillary.) However, as NewsBusters is noting, Hollywood support for Hillary goes well beyond fundraisers, actors at campaign events or even the entertainment media putting their finger on the scales in favor of liberals.

“It’s typical for the media to get involved in a campaign during an election cycle,” NewsBusters reports. “But in the case of Hillary Clinton, the media have been laying the groundwork for her ascendance to the Presidency since the early 1990s.”

While Dunham was abusing her sister, while Desperate Housewife Longoria was preparing to move to Wisteria Lane, and while Goldwyn was still the bad guy in Ghost, Hollywood was creating Hillary-inspired female presidents and politicians, “fictional TV characters endorsing the real-life former FLOTUS, and children’s books singing her praises.” There was even a President Hillary Clinton in a show back in the ’90s.

A couple of the clearer examples: When Hillary was mulling her 2008 run, ABC launched Commander-in-Chief, a drama starring Geena Davis as the first female President. The Traditional Values Coalition and conservative commentators suggested at the time the show was really a thinly-veiled attempt to boost the prospects of a Hillary candidacy. ABC and Davis denied the charge.

In 2014, as Hillary was gearing up for her current run, CBS premiered a drama called Madam Secretary, starring Téa Lenoi. Notice anything, aside from the obvious fact that leading Hollywood actors are typically better looking than most of us?

It’s also worth noting that one of the executive producers of Madam Secretary is Morgan Freeman. The actor has not only endorsed Clinton, he’s cut campaign commercials for her.

Like any good Hollywood script, this one has a twist. Not all the actors coming to Philadelphia are there to fete Hillary. Actress Rosario Dawson, a pro-Sanders activist, told The New York Times last week, “I am definitely going to the DNC, and I’ll definitely be protested outside of the DNC.” In fact, she’s hoping to get arrested.

Oscar-winner and noted liberal activist Susan Sarandon isn’t there to hug it out with Hillary either. Sarandon has been a fierce critic of the former Secretary of State, going so far as to suggest that Clinton would be “more dangerous” in office than Donald Trump.

HEH: Days After Mocking Trump as The “You’re Fired” Candidate, Hillary Fires DNC Head Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Impeccable timing, as usual.

Just days after test-driving the hilarious “Trump is the ‘you’re fired’ candidate; Hillary is the ‘you’re hired’ candidate’ slogan, the Clinton campaign was forced to take action after email leaks revealed the Democrat National Committee had conspired to undermine Bernie Sanders’ campaign.

DNC head Debbie Wasserman Schultz was fired at the behest of Hillary Clinton:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday she will soon step down as Democratic National Committee chairwoman, amid the fallout over leaked emails indicating an anti-Bernie Sanders bias in her operation — a stunning development just hours before the start of her party convention.

…She apparently will step down at the end of the convention. Vice Chairwoman Donna Brazile is slated to take over as interim chair during the rest of the general election campaign.

The announcement came just hours after reports first surfaced that Wasserman Schultz may be denied a speaking role at the convention, and that she would not be presiding — a decision apparently made under pressure from the Clinton campaign and the White House.

It’s unclear whether these revelations will further widen the already massive divide between Bernie Sanders’ supporters and those of Hillary Clinton.

Though, based upon thoughtful articles like this one by Adam Townsend, Donald Trump may be a far more acceptable candidate to the progressive movement than Hillary Clinton. Wikileaks Dump Appears to Show DNC Favored Clinton Campaign

A new trove of leaked emails seem to show that top officials at the Democratic National Committee openly mocked and criticized Sen. Bernie Sanders during the primary race against Hillary Clinton — a startling revelation that raises questions about the Democratic Party’s impartiality and an issue that could play out poorly at the party’s convention this week in Philadelphia.

WikiLeaks posted close to 20,000 emails and 8,000 attachments Friday sent or received from top Democratic officials that seem to suggest the committee’s chairwoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other higher ups tried to tip the scales in Clinton’s favor. WikiLeaks dubbed the document dump the “Hillary Leaks series.”

Sanders has repeatedly claimed that he thought the system was “rigged” during the primaries.

Republican candidate Donald Trump weighed in Saturday morning, tweeting: “Leaked e-mails of DNC show plans to destroy Bernie Sanders. Mock his heritage and much more.
