Tim Kaine took advantage of the state’s lax gift laws to receive an $18,000 Caribbean vacation, $5,500 in clothes and a trip to watch George Mason University play in the NCAA basketball Final Four during his years as lieutenant governor and governor, according to disclosures he filed…

…Kaine reported more than $160,000 in gifts from 2001 to 2009…

…the gifts could become attack-ad fodder after similar presents led to corruption charges for Gov. Bob McDonnell, whose conviction the Supreme Court overturned Monday. Republicans could also use the records to portray Kaine as part of the self-dealing establishment in a cycle animated by hostility toward the political class…

…Shortly after winning the governorship in 2005, Kaine and his family vacationed on the exclusive West Indies island of Mustique in a house belonging to Charlottesville-area investor James B. Murray Jr. Murray made a fortune investing in cellphones together with Kaine’s Senate predecessor, Mark Warner. Murray invited Kaine to spend a week at his house to relax after the campaign.

Has there ever been a more corrupt, venal and destructive ticket than this particular Democrat offering?

That’s a rhetorical question, of course.

Benghazi Hero Warns of Exodus of Special Operators If Hillary Becomes President

According to one of the heroes of Benghazi, special operators will leave military and government service if Hillary Clinton becomes president, because they do not believe she would have their backs.

Former CIA operative and Marine John “Tig” Tiegen told The Daily Caller that sentiment is based both on her actions during the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, and her treatment of highly classified information.

“There’s guys leaving now just because of that,” Tiegen said during an interview Tuesday. “because they don’t know if the call for help is going to be heard.”

“Her leadership that night on 9/11 (2012) shows what kind of leader she would probably end up being as a president,” the Benghazi survivor contended.

He noted what the Select Committee on Benghazi discovered in its investigation: Much of Clinton’s time during the two-hour meeting in the White House Situation Room as the attacks were unfolding was spent discussing the false internet video narrative that she and others the Obama administration would claim was the cause of the attack.

“Instead of making sure … the Americans she sent there come home safe … she goes home. That’s it,” he stated. “If you’re going to be a leader and your employees are under attack, you should be in the Situation Room watching it.”

Based on her actions that night, “I don’t see how anyone can trust her as a commander-in-chief,” Tiegen said.

The former CIA operative was also troubled by Clinton’s handling of highly classified material.

“Her lack of respect for security information, top secret information, that just puts lives in jeopardy, not just American lives, but our foreign assets. Who wants to work with us, if you have somebody like that?” he wondered.

“Espionage is such a big thing because information kills people, it destroys countries … Her lackadaisical attitude towards it, blows [special operators’] minds,” Tiegen added, pointing out if any of them did what Clinton has done, they would be hauled off to jail, not permitted to run for president of the United States.

As reported by Western Journalism, Tiegen and fellow Benghazi hero Mark “Oz” Geist endorsed Donald Trump for president in February.

Speaking at the GOP convention in Cleveland Monday night, Geist echoed Tiegen’s sentiment of how important it is to know the commander-in-chief will support those sent into harm’s way.

“As Americans we have an opportunity to elect somebody who will make this country safe again,” Geist said. “We have to elect someone who will have our backs. Someone who will bring our guys home. Won’t leave anybody behind.”

Clinton Picks Liberal Sen. Tim Kaine for Running Mate and Zzzzzzzzz…

Hillary Clinton has finally announced her choice for vice president on a Friday night when every journalist covering the story wanted to do literally anything else.

Clinton’s choice? Senator Tim Kaine, D-Va. (F, 0%)!

Kaine has a long resume in Democratic politics. He was Mayor of Richmond, Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Governor, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and now serves in the U.S. Senate.

His candidacy solidifies the Democratic ticket as perhaps the most Washington-establishment-friendly ticket in American political history.

The response to Clinton’s pick for running mate has been nothing short of “meh.”

Though, the Democrats who weren’t put to sleep by Clinton’s running mate were angry that he wasn’t enough of a radical leftist.

Don’t believe the Left’s Bolshevik/Menshevik spat. Tim Kaine is as liberal as they come.

He’s most famous for proposing a “minimum tax level” during a debate when he ran for Senate in 2012.

GREGORY: Do you believe everyone in Virginia should pay something in federal income taxes?

KAINE: Everyone pays taxes.

GREGORY: But federal income taxes?

KAINE: I would be open to a proposal that would have some minimum tax level for everyone. But I do insist — many of the 47 percent that Gov. Romney was going after pay a higher percentage of their income in taxes than he does.

DEMS PANIC: Despite Blowing Through Millions, Hillary Campaign Tied in Ohio

You say the Matriarch of one of the greatest crime families in U.S. history doesn’t appeal to voters? Wow — who could have predicted that?

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in a dead heat in the battleground state of Ohio, according to a new poll released Thursday… Clinton and Trump both have negative favorability ratings, with Clinton viewed unfavorably 41 to 51 percent and Trump 38 to 53 percent.

“These largely negative views of the candidates come despite heavy Clinton campaign advertising in Ohio leading up to the Republican Convention and Trump’s efforts to humanize his candidacy with multiple primetime speeches from family members,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center.

Yes, your Abuela’s burning through cash in a futile attempt to overcome her sordid reputation and the distinct odor of cat urine that permeates the room when she enters.

Hillary Clinton campaign’s posted another impressive fundraising month in June but blew through almost the entire haul, spending more than in any other month of the cycle so far… The campaign spent $34.5 million and raised $36.4 million, leaving it with a slightly higher cash position of $44.4 million at the end of June, according to its latest report to the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday.

Just $5.9 million, or about 16 percent, of her contributions came from small donors. The campaign said its average donation was $48.

As well they should be, Democrats are pissing their collective pants, which is only adding to the smell of urine in the area.

With [the] start of the Democratic [sic] National Convention just three days away, Democratic [sic] groups are expressing dismay that Hillary Clinton is neck and neck with Donald Trump in the polls.

“Were PANICKED, friends,” said an email shot from the Democratic [sic] Governors Association.

The group and other Clinton supporters are concerned about the polls and the new analysis by numbers guru Nate Silver showing Clinton’s lead down to three points.

The RealClearPolitics average is even worse. Today’s analysis has Clinton’s lead at 2.8 points.

Trump Veterans Adviser Won’t Back Down From Saying Hillary Should Be Shot for Treason

A top adviser to Donald Trump on veterans issues who is under investigation for comments calling for Hillary Clinton to be executed for treason was unapologetic late Wednesday, accusing the media of twisting his words.

“I never said she should be shot,” said Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state representative and delegate at the Republican convention in Cleveland. “As usual, the liberal media is taking it out of context. What I said was she should be up on treason charges, and the punishment for that is a firing squad.”

Earlier in the week, Baldasaro made the controversial remarks on the Jeff Kuhner radio show when asked about Clinton’s role in the deadly 2012 attack on U.S. embassy facilities in Libya.

“She is a disgrace for the lies that she told those mothers about their children that got killed over there in Benghazi,” he said. “This whole thing disgusts me, Hillary Clinton should be put in the firing line and shot for treason.”

[H]e repeated the charge [later:] “Anyone that commits treason should be shot,” he told news outlet. “I believe Hillary Clinton committed treason. She put people in danger. When people take confidential material off a server, you’re sharing information with the enemy. DEAD BROKE: Forbes Says the Clintons Pulled in $229 Million Between 2001 and 2014

Remember when Hillary Clinton claimed she and Bill were “dead broke” when they left the White House?

Hey, I know this will startle you, but it turns out that’s a bunch of crap.

Because even before they left the White House, the Clinton had purchased both a “…a five-bedroom home in Chappaqua, N.Y., for $1.7 million [and] a seven-bedroom house near Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. [for] $2.85 million.”

With that said, Hillary’s long litany of lies don’t disqualify her for the presidency.

And the Obama administration has swept her felonious mishandling of classified government documents under the rug. So those technically don’t disqualify her.

But the Clinton Foundation and the Clintons’ methods of enriching themselves do. The mainstream media, with a few exceptions such as the New York Times, have failed to see the foundation as a target for investigative reporting. But Peter Schweizer, in his 2015 book Clinton Cash, examined the foundation and discovered how it allowed the Clintons to make foreign policy pay. Donate to the foundation or give Bill Clinton an exorbitant fee for a speech and good things often happened. According to Forbes, Bill and Hillary Clinton made $229,319,855 between 2001 and 2014.

The Clintons created a structure whereby foreign governments, businesses, and financiers could buy access to American politicians, Schweizer says. “Foreign entities are prohibited by federal law from giving to political campaigns and super-PACs. But with the Clinton Foundation and speaking fees, foreign entities can sidestep what has been a longtime consensus point in American politics.” That point: American foreign policy isn’t like politics, where campaign donations buy access and favors. With the Clintons, foreign policy is politics by other means.

When his wife became secretary of state, Bill Clinton’s speaking fees skyrocketed. He gave two speeches in Nigeria at $700,000 apiece. He was paid $750,000 by Ericsson, the Swedish telecom company, for a speech in Hong Kong. He gave 13 speeches for more than $500,000 a pop from the time he stepped down as president in 2001 to the day his wife left as secretary of state in 2013. Eleven of them occurred while she was in office, Schweizer found. PolitiFact confirmed his numbers and speech dates.

The examples of the Clintons’ remunerating themselves with help from holding high office are numerous. He got $16.5 million from Laureate International Universities, the parent company of an online diploma mill, as honorary chancellor for five years. Laureate Education Inc. got $55 million in State Department grants. The Clintons benefited from deals in Russia, India, Colombia, and Africa. At least Bill Clinton did.

FBI Confirms Agents Were Ordered to Keep Silent About Clinton’s Emails

Five months after the FBI was first asked whether its agents investigating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s emails were being prevented from speaking publicly about the case, the FBI has now admitted officially that that is indeed the case.

Fox News reports that a July 1 letter sent by the FBI to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, confirmed that agents had been required to sign a “Case Briefing Acknowledgement.” The document says that disclosing information about the case is “strictly prohibited” without prior approval.

Grassley had first asked the FBI about any attempt to muzzle agents back in February, but did not receive a reply until early this month.

The FBI letter said the purpose of the agreement was twofold: “to maintain an official record of all persons knowledgeable of this highly unusual investigation, and to remind individuals of their obligations to protect classified and sensitive information.” The letter said “no one refused to sign” or “raised any questions or concerns.”

Fox News quoted a recently retired FBI agent as saying that such a step was used only in “the most sensitive of sensitive cases,” and can have a “chilling effect” on agents, who know that the edict not to talk “comes from the very top and that there has to be a tight lid on the case.”

In a July 6 letter to FBI Director James Comey in which Grassley asked a wide range of questions about the FBI investigation, he touched upon the FBI’s order limiting the ability of agents to speak about the case. In light of several “inconsistencies” in the case that the senator listed, he said he found it “even more troubling that the FBI tried to gag its agents with a non-disclosure agreement on this matter, in violation of whistleblower protection statutes.”

“In your July 1st reply to my February 4th letter, you indicated that agents working on this case were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement that failed to exempt protected whistleblowing,” Grassley wrote. “Only after I wrote to you did you advise your FBI agents that they are still free to speak with Congress regarding waste, fraud, and abuse.” (For more from the author of “FBI Confirms Agents Were Ordered to Keep Silent About Clinton’s Emails” please click HERE)

FBI Agents Irked at Unusual Actions in Clinton Email Probe, See ‘Inside Deal’

The words “inside deal” are being used by FBI sources as they discuss the agency’s conclusion not to seek prosecution against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for her use of a private, unsecure email server to handle classified material.

The New York Post on Wednesday reported that current and former FBI agents said it was highly unusual that agents who were part of the yearlong probe into Clinton’s emails were required by the agency to sign something called a “Case Briefing Acknowledgment” form that, in essence, prevents them from publicly disclosing what they found out about Clinton’s emails.

“This is very, very unusual. I’ve never signed one, never circulated one to others,” said one retired FBI chief.

A current FBI agent agreed. “I have never heard of such a form. Sounds strange,” the agent said.

The Post also quoted agents expressing “disappointment” over the decision not to press charges against Clinton. In announcing the decision, FBI Director James Comey said, “To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.”

“FBI agents believe there was an inside deal put in place after the Loretta Lynch/Bill Clinton tarmac meeting,” one source told The Post.

The week before the FBI announced its decision, Lynch and former President Bill Clinton had a clandestine meeting on her plane at the Phoenix airport. The meeting was widely assailed as a conflict of interest. Hillary Clinton has reportedly expressed an interest in keeping Lynch in her job if Clinton wins the presidential election.
