Poll: Clinton’s Lead Shrinks as Trump Maintains Dominance

trumpclinton1Hillary Clinton’s lead in the Democratic presidential race is the slimmest it’s been in years, as Donald Trump keeps a stranglehold on the GOP race, a new poll found Friday.

Clinton maintains 45 percent support among Democrats, but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is up to 25 percent, according to a Reuters/Ipsos tracking survey released Friday.

It’s Clinton’s smallest lead since Reuters started polling Democratic voters on her candidacy in 2012, the news service noted.

Vice President Biden, who is rumored to be mulling a White House bid, drew 16 percent. The remaining people polled were undecided or voting for other candidates.

Trump received 33 percent support among Republicans, crushing his closest rival, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, at 12 percent. (Read more from “Poll: Clinton’s Lead Shrinks as Trump Maintains Dominance” HERE)

Clinton Likens GOP’s Views on Women to Those of Terrorists

Hillary Rodham ClintonHillary Rodham Clinton on Thursday drew parallels between terrorist organizations and the field of Republican candidates for president when it comes to their views on women, telling an Ohio audience her potential GOP rivals were pushing “out-of-date” policies.

“Now extreme views about women? We expect that from some of the terrorist groups. We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world,” Clinton said.

“But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States, yet they espouse out-of-date and out-of-touch policies,” she added at a rally with 2,800 people in Cleveland’s Case Western Reserve University. “They are dead wrong for 21st century America.” (Read more from “Clinton Likens GOP’s Views on Women to Those of Terrorists” HERE)

Journalist Releases Undercover Sting Video, Warns Hillary – More Is Coming

hillary-clinton-secretary-of-state2James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released undercover video on Wednesday indicating that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is skirting Iowa election law through its voter registration practices.

Time reported the Clinton campaign went on high alert last week after determining at least two women it believed to be from Project Veritas were seeking to expose illegal activity within the organization. A campaign official expressed confidence the campaign has “upheld the law.” Furthermore, regarding voter registration — the focus of the video — the campaign’s “policy is to register all voters, regardless of their preference in candidates,” claimed a spokesperson.

The video then goes back a day earlier to show staffer Sterner explaining to a PV undercover journalist the campaign’s practice regarding voter registration: first, find out whom the prospect supports.

“If you open up a conversation as like, ‘Hey, are you registered to vote?’ And they’re, like, ‘no,’ and they want to register, you have to register them,” she says.

“And so that’s why I want to keep our primary focus on, ‘Hey, are you a Hillary supporter?’ And then if not, then great move on, you know?” Sterner concludes.

The narrator, O’Keefe, states that Sterner is explaining how workers can “skirt” Iowa’s election law, citing 39A.2 (1)(b)(5), which states that “A person commits the crime of election misconduct in the first degree if the person willfully … deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the citizens of this state of a fair and impartially conducted election process.” (Read more from “Journalist Releases Undercover Sting Video, Warns Hillary – More Is Coming” HERE)

For Hillary Clinton, Emails Are No Longer a Joking Matter

hillary-clinton-secretary-of-stateHillary Clinton on Wednesday reversed course in her handling of questions about her private email server when she was secretary of state.

In recent weeks, she has either dismissed the controversy or joked about it. But on Wednesday she said she had made a mistake.

“My use of personal email was allowed by the State Department. It clearly wasn’t the best choice. I should have used two emails — one personal, one for work — and I take responsibility for that decision,” she said when asked at an Iowa event.

The answer shows much more contrition than she has of late, even acknowledging that she understands why people care about the issue.

“Well, I know people have raised questions about my email use as secretary of state, and I understand why. I get it,” she said during a press conference at a local community college. (Read more from “For Hillary Clinton, Emails Are No Longer a Joking Matter” HERE)

StemExpress CEO Endorses Hillary Clinton: ‘She’s Getting Elected, It’s a Done Deal’ [+video]

635717497185767463-1105667741_hillaryclinton_featuredBy Steven Ertelt. As the head of the biotech company that buys aborted babies and aborted baby body parts from Planned Parenthood, StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer has been the subject of considerably national scrutiny.

A new video released today shows Dyer laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. She laughs about how shippers of the aborted babies would give a warning to lab workers to expect such a baby.

The new video is approximately 10 minutes in language, but a full-length version exists and the conservative Washington Free Beacon has obtained a copy of it. One of the things it discovered in the full-length version is that Dyer has endorsed pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

As the Free Beacon reports about Dyer and what she told the undercover pro-life investigators about Hillary: . . .

“I have a signed picture from Hillary because my sister works in Congress,” she said. “I’m a huge Hillary fan … she’s getting elected this time. It’s a done deal as far as I’m concerned.”

New Video: Planned Parenthood Sells “A Lot” of Aborted Babies, Buyer Wants “50 Livers a Week”

By Steven Ertelt. Last Friday, the pro-life group behind the shocking expose’ videos of Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies and their body parts released a preview of its 8th video in the series. Now the full video has been released.

While the videos have focused on the Planned Parenthood abortion business, the biotech firm StemExpress, which buys and resells aborted baby body parts from the abortion giant, has filed a lawsuit seeking to block some information the Center for Medical Progress obtained in its three year undercover operation. Just a short time after a judge issued a ruling that the biotech firm StemExpress can’t block the Center for Medical Progress from releasing videos, it put together a preview of its latest installment.

StemExpress is a for-profit biotech supply company that has been partnered with Planned Parenthood clinics across the country to purchase human fetal parts since its founding in 2010. StemExpress’ Medical Director, Dr. Ronald Berman, is an abortion doctor for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte in California.

In the video, Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress, is shown in a lunch meeting with undercover operatives posing as representatives of a biotech firm. Dyer is laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. She laughs about how shippers of the aborted babies would give a warning to lab workers to expect such a baby.

“Oh yeah, if you have intact cases — which we’ve done a lot — we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety,” she says. (Read more from this story HERE)

Fox News Chief Intelligence Correspondent: Clinton Emails Were Classified Under Executive Order Signed by Obama

hillaryCATHERINE HERRIDGE, FOX NEWS CHIEF INTELLIGENCE CORRESPONDENT: One of the cardinal rules is that only the agency that gets the information has the authority to declassify that information, and that’s why the State Department and Mrs. Clinton and her team are in such deep trouble over these e-mails.

FOX News is confirming the e-mail from aide Huma Abedin to Mrs. Clinton that kick-started the FBI probe contained classified information from three intelligence agencies, the DIA, the NSA and the NGA, which overseas U.S. government spy satellites.

All three agencies have confirmed the intelligence was classified when it was sent three years ago and remains classified to this day. But the State Department claims the intelligence was unclassified even though they didn’t own it and released the e-mails, now simply stating there’s a difference of opinion.

HILLARY CLINTON: What you’re seeing now is a disagreement between agencies saying, ‘you know what, they should have,’ and the other saying, ‘no, they shouldn’t.’ That has nothing to do with me.

But under this executive order, 13526, signed by Mr. Obama in December 2009, only the three intelligence agencies who own that information in the first place have the authority to declassify it, not Mrs. Clinton and not the State Department. As Hillary Implodes, the Democrats Have No Real Plan B

hillary_clinton_scaryThe summer has not been kind to Hillary Clinton. The drip-drip-drip of revelations about her possible misuse and mishandling of classified information threatens to become a deluge in the fall. They have taken a serious toll on her reputation — and even more notably, her treatment by liberal media figures who surely would rather she be elected even if the Risen Christ were to be the Republican nominee.

Democrats are worried — so worried five donors who raised millions for President Obama as well as Obama’s chief Florida strategist have both sworn off Hillary and joined an effort to draft Vice President Joe Biden to save the party from an unelectable (or, dare we say it, indicted) nominee.

Should they be worried? Sure. People in politics should always worry, and since she kicked off her presidential campaign by talking about being “dead broke,” Hillary has been a worry-generating machine for any rational non-Pollyanna Democrat who doesn’t live in a Media Matters for America bubble.

But is Joe Biden a serious Plan B? No. There is no Plan B.

First, the case for Democratic panic. We begin with the perception problem. I’m profoundly skeptical about polling results these days, but politics runs on them, and Democrats are looking at polls that suggest Americans as a whole view her as dishonest and untrustworthy — polls in which the numbers are getting worse as the months pass. Dozens of Clinton Emails Were Classified From the Start, U.S. Rules Suggest

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton looks on as she speaks during a town hall meeting in Las Vegas, NevadaBy Jonathan Allen. For months, the U.S. State Department has stood behind its former boss Hillary Clinton as she has repeatedly said she did not send or receive classified information on her unsecured, private email account, a practice the government forbids.

While the department is now stamping a few dozen of the publicly released emails as “Classified,” it stresses this is not evidence of rule-breaking. Those stamps are new, it says, and do not mean the information was classified when Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election, first sent or received it.

But the details included in those “Classified” stamps — which include a string of dates, letters and numbers describing the nature of the classification — appear to undermine this account, a Reuters examination of the emails and the relevant regulations has found.

The new stamps indicate that some of Clinton’s emails from her time as the nation’s most senior diplomat are filled with a type of information the U.S. government and the department’s own regulations automatically deems classified from the get-go — regardless of whether it is already marked that way or not.

In the small fraction of emails made public so far, Reuters has found at least 30 email threads from 2009, representing scores of individual emails, that include what the State Department’s own “Classified” stamps now identify as so-called ‘foreign government information.’ The U.S. government defines this as any information, written or spoken, provided in confidence to U.S. officials by their foreign counterparts. Clinton Campaign on Alert for Undercover Conservative Sting

By Zeke J. Miller. Hillary Clinton’s campaign offices around the country have been put on alert after at least two women approached Iowa staff under the guise of being supporters in an apparent effort to catch the campaign engaging in improper or illegal activity, a Clinton campaign official said.

The motivations of the women is not known, but their alleged techniques match those of Project Veritas, the conservative group run by James O’Keefe, which specializes in undercover stings meant to embarrass liberal groups and politicians. The group declined to comment on the Clinton campaign’s allegations. “Project Veritas does not comment on investigations, real or imagined,” said Daniel Pollack, the director of communications for the group.

A Clinton campaign official alleges that the women engaged in several efforts to entrap supporters. In one scheme, described by Clinton staff, a woman attempted to pass a cash donation to Clinton volunteers and interns. In another, a woman approached the campaign on Aug. 19 and said both her parents had donated to Clinton the legal maximum of $2700 each and wanted to funnel an additional donation through their daughter, a violation of federal law. On Aug. 13, a woman claiming to be Canadian approached another Clinton fellow to ask how to falsify an address for a campaign donation.

In another instance, a woman volunteering with the Clinton campaign on voter registration efforts in Iowa City returned to the campaign’s office in Des Moines and asked whether it was okay that she refuse to register people who don’t support Clinton, the campaign official said. The Clinton campaign maintains that its policy is to register all voters, regardless of their preference in candidates. (Read more from this story HERE)

New York Times’ Josh Barro: Hillary’s Email Scandal ‘Just Background Noise’ [+video]

93a0d8f1def964247f0f6a70670073e4_c0-62-4543-2710_s561x327By Jeffrey Meyer. Appearing on MSNBC’s Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell on Monday, the New York Times’ Josh Barro dismissed the ongoing controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server as “all just background noise.”

Barro, who also serves as an MSNBC contributor, downplayed the Clintons’ scandalous past because “[e]verybody’s formulated an opinion about whether they think the Clintons are above board or whether they care about whether the Clintons are above board or not.”

Despite revelations that Hillary’s private e-mail server contained classified documents, Barro maintained that it won’t hurt her in any way, and the campaign does not believe Clinton will face any legal repercussions:

I can’t imagine this breaking through in a way that the previous 25 or 35 scandals did, unless she were to be indicted, which I do not think is going to happen and I have no reason to believe would happen and I don’t think the campaign has any reason to believe would happen.

Court Says Hillary Clinton Emails Broke ‘Government Policy’

By Stephen Dinan. A federal judge said Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unique email arrangement violated government policy and prodded the department to talk with the FBI to determine what documents can be recovered from the computer server and flash drives used to store her emails.

Judge Emmet G. Sullivan was surprised that the State Department hadn’t made that request and poked at the administration’s claim that the FBI needed to be left alone to conduct its investigation. He gave the agencies 30 days to figure out whether emails can be recovered.

“We wouldn’t be here today had this employee followed government policy,” the judge said, casting doubt on Mrs. Clinton’s claim that she did nothing wrong when she set up her own email server at her home in New York and used it for all of her government business, and belatedly returned 30,000 emails to the department.

The administration agreed to have the State Department and FBI work together to determine what documents could be recovered, suggesting that the government will have to try to reconstitute the emails Mrs. Clinton’s attorney has asserted were expunged from the server.

Peter D. Wechsler, the Justice Department lawyer handling the case for the State Department, balked at requests from the plaintiffs that the government go back and look for backup tapes or try to find Mrs. Clinton’s old computer or BlackBerry. Special Operations Vets Call for Kerry to Strip Hillary of Security Clearance

Hillary-and-Kerry-1280x922-1-copy-e1440001465600A group of special operations veterans and intelligence community officials have formally asked Secretary of State John Kerry to strip former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of her security clearance along with three of her top aides, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The organization, called the Special Operations Educational Fund, wrote Kerry August 5 asking that he “immediately suspend the security clearances” because of Clinton’s use of a private unsecured email server and domain name that contains classified information. SOF is a 501 (c) 4 nonprofit group . . .

The SOEF demands could significantly escalate the email crisis that has engulfed Clinton’s campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination in recent weeks.

The SOEF previously criticized the Obama administration for leaking sensitive national security information concerning the operation that resulted in the death of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

Mills is a long-time Clinton aide who was White House counsel to President Clinton during his impeachment. She was also chief of staff to Secretary Clinton at the State Department. (Read more from “Special Operations Vets Call for Kerry to Strip Hillary of Security Clearance” HERE)
