In Clinton Emails on Benghazi, a Rare Glimpse at Her Concerns

Clinton AdressingIt was a grueling hearing. A month after the September 2012 attack on the United States diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, House Republicans grilled a top State Department official about security lapses at the outpost.

Later that day, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton tapped out an email to a close adviser: “Did we survive the day?” she wrote.

“Survive, yes,” the adviser emailed back, adding that he would continue to gauge reaction the next morning.

The roughly 300 emails from Mrs. Clinton’s private account that were turned over last month to a House committee investigating the attack showed the secretary and her aides closely monitoring the fallout from the tragedy, which threatened to damage her image and reflect poorly on the State Department.

They provided no evidence that Mrs. Clinton, as the most incendiary Republican attacks have suggested, issued a “stand down” order to halt American forces responding to the violence in Benghazi, or took part in a broad cover-up of the administration’s response, according to senior American officials. Watch: Pro-Hillary Ad That Exploits Little Girls Sparks Social Media Backlash; ‘An Embarrassment for the Left’

hclintonnTwisted new political ads in support of Hillary Clinton confirm that world truly is – upside down.

Luke Montgomery is the “brains” behind the political ads that were released Wednesday. He’s also the same opportunist who made a 2014 viral video of little girls dropping F-bomb’s.

This time, he exploited little girls to promote Hillary Clinton and urge people to sign a petition to support her if she decides to run for president . . .

The little feminists in training run through the streets wearing patriotic colors and demonstrate for the camera the clear indoctrination and misinformation that’s been drilled into their heads.

It all adds up, as one Twitter user puts it, to “an embarrassment for the left” (if they were capable of it). (Read more from “Watch: Pro-Hillary Ad That Exploits Little Girls Sparks Social Media Backlash; ‘An Embarrassment for the Left'” HERE)

More Islamic Connections: Hillary’s Hezbollah-Friendly Donor

The Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation accepted millions of dollars from a former deputy prime minister of Lebanon known for defending Hezbollah, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

Issam Fares, a Lebanese billionaire who has established himself in the United States as a prominent philanthropist, has given between $1 and $5 million in donations to the Clintons’ foundation with donations coming as recently as last year, according to a public donor disclosure list on the foundation’s website.

Fares was a part of the pro-Syria government of Prime Minister Omar Karami during his tenure as deputy prime minister between 2000 and 2005.

“It seems the Zionist lobby in the United States and its agents in the region were displeased and worried that certain Lebanese and Arab personalities have a friendly relationship with some senior officials of the new American administration,” Fares was quoted as saying in a 2001 statement after questions were raised about his relationship with incoming U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Fares decried comparisons drawn between the terrorist organization al Qaeda and Hezbollah after the September 11 terror attacks. (Read more from “Hillary’s Hezbollah-Friendly Donor” HERE)

Carly Fiorina Shapes Herself as the Republican Foil to Hillary Clinton

By Amy Chozick. She has been the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, a senior adviser to a Republican presidential nominee and a candidate for the United States Senate. But Carly Fiorina recently took on her boldest role yet: Hillary Rodham Clinton’s loudest critic.

Over the past few weeks, Ms. Fiorina has mocked Mrs. Clinton’s globe-trotting as secretary of state, assailed Mrs. Clinton’s use of only a private email account to do official business, and even accused Mrs. Clinton of stealing intellectual property. From her. Twice.

Ms. Fiorina insists she has no problem with Mrs. Clinton personally — only with her liberal philosophy and policies, and what she dismisses as an unimpressive record on getting things done.

“Like Hillary Clinton, I too, have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles around the globe, but unlike her, I have actually accomplished something,” she told conservatives in Iowa in January. “Mrs. Clinton: Flying is an activity, not an accomplishment.” (Read more from “Carly Fiorina Shapes Herself as the Republican Foil to Hillary Clinton” HERE)

State Department Challenges Clinton Claim That Emails to Officials ‘Immediately’ Saved

By Fox News. A State Department spokeswoman said Friday that the department did not start automatically archiving emails from senior officials until February of this year — raising questions about Hillary Clinton’s claim that her emails were “immediately” saved whenever she corresponded with colleagues.

The former secretary of state made that assertion during her press conference earlier this week — and in a lengthy statement put out by her office — as she defended her exclusive use of personal email. Clinton downplayed concerns that official emails could have been lost by suggesting anytime she emailed anyone with a “.gov” address, that email would be stored for posterity.

“The vast majority of my work emails went to government employees at their government addresses, which meant they were captured and preserved immediately on the system at the State Department,” she said Tuesday.

But department spokeswoman Jen Psaki made clear on Friday that this was not the way the system worked.

She said the department only started automatically archiving emails for other senior officials in February. (Read more from this story HERE)

Watch: Former SEALs Explosive Speech to Hillary Clinton

Former Navy SEAL Dom Raso isn’t going to let Hillary Clinton get away with the lie she told an audience in order to make herself appear as courageous as the American soldiers who define the word “courage.”

Raso, during an NRA commentator video, exposed Clinton’s blatant untruths about dodging enemy fire while in Bosnia.

“I remember landing under sniper fire, there was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicle to get to our base,” Clinton told an adoring crowd.

“It was moment of great pride for me,” she added.

Raso pointed out that video footage later proved nothing could be further from reality. Clinton was clearly seen being warmly greeted – with handshakes – when she arrived that day in Bosnia. (Read more from “Watch: Former SEALs Explosive Speech to Hillary Clinton” HERE)

Barack Obama, Top Obama Advisor Plotted Clinton Email Scandal, According to Source [+video]

By Michael Dorstewitz. The author of a book detailing the bitter feud between the Clintons and the Obamas offered a new spin on the Hillary Clinton email scandal, pinning the blame blame for Hillary Clinton’s current troubles on a plot hatched in the White House itself.

And emails aren’t the only areas the plot is targeting Clinton.

On “Fox & Friends” Wednesday, “Blood Feud” author Ed Klein said the controversy was sparked by President Obama and his top advisor Valerie Jarrett “leaking information to the mainstream media.”

Obama and Jarrett are determined to deny Clinton a shot at the White House, Klein said. (Read more from “Barack Obama, Top Obama Advisor Plotted Clinton Email Scandal, According to Source [+video]” HERE)

Sarah Palin Mocks Hillary Clinton’s ‘Convenience’ Excuse in Email Controversy

By Michael Walsh. Sarah Palin has little sympathy for Hillary Clinton amid the recent email controversy.

The Alaskan politician shared two images on her Facebook page midday Wednesday, juxtaposing her cellphone use with Clinton’s.

One picture shows a photo of Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state using a single cellphone, captioned with her rationale for using her private email for professional matters.

“I opted for convenience … because I thought it would be easier to carry one device,” it reads. (Read more from this story HERE)

Senator Cotton Fires Back at Clinton on Social Media over Iran Nuke Letter

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton sparred Wednesday with Hillary Clinton on Twitter, after the former secretary of state slammed an open letter he and other GOP senators sent to Iran’s leaders about ongoing nuclear talks.

The Republican senators’ statement has become the subject of immense controversy, as it challenged President Obama’s authority to strike a nuclear deal and cautioned Iran’s leaders that any agreement would need congressional approval in order to necessarily last beyond Obama’s term.

Clinton, who is widely expected to enter the presidential race in the coming months, tweeted a warning to those potential Republican candidates who have praised the letter.

GOP letter to Iranian clerics undermines American leadership. No one considering running for commander-in-chief should be signing on.

-@HillaryClinton

Arkansas Sen. Cotton fired back.

No, .@HillaryClinton, letter to Iran helps protect USA from bad deal. No CINC should allow world’s worst regimes to get world’s worst weapon

-@SenTomCotton

. . .

Democrats have slammed the Republicans’ letter as a diplomatic no-no, claiming they effectively undermined the U.S. president on the world stage. Vice President Biden said earlier this week that “the decision to undercut our President and circumvent our constitutional system offends me as a matter of principle.” (Read more from “Senator Cotton Fires Back at Clinton on Social Media over Iran Nuke Letter” HERE)

Some Top Democrats Are Alarmed about Clinton’s Readiness for a Campaign

Senior Democrats are increasingly worried that Hillary Rodham Clinton is not ready to run for president, fearing that the clumsy and insular handling of the nine-day fracas over her private e-mails was a warning sign about the campaign expected to launch next month.

Few Democrats believe that the revelations about her unorthodox e-mail practices as secretary of state are a substantive issue that would damage Clinton with voters, and many said she performed adequately in a Tuesday news conference defending herself.

But in interviews Wednesday with The Washington Post, current and former Democratic officeholders and operatives from across the country raised serious questions about her and her political team’s strength and readiness for a 2016 presidential campaign.

“She’s tried to put the day of reckoning off, but it’s come now, and I don’t think she can stand another couple of weeks of this without her structure in place,” said Jim Hodges, a former governor of South Carolina.

Some Democrats said Clinton’s initial refusal to provide answers in the growing e-mail controversy smacked of arrogance and a worrisome bunker mentality — and that the controversy was a self-inflicted wound. Hillary Said She Emailed with Bill, but There’s One Very Big Problem . . .

By Ashe Schow. At a press conference on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton said the server that housed her emails while she was secretary of state (that was reportedly housed at her home in New York) was set up for President Bill Clinton. She also said that some of the “personal” emails she deleted were between her and her husband.

But just before Hillary began the press conference at the United Nations building, the Wall Street Journal reported that Bill Clinton does not use email.

“The former president, who does regularly use Twitter, has sent a grand total of two emails during his entire life, both as president, says Matt McKenna, his spokesman,” WSJ reported. “After leaving office, Mr. Clinton established his own domain that staff use — @presidentclinton.com. But Mr. Clinton still doesn’t use email himself, Mr. McKenna said.” (Read more from “Hillary Said She Emailed with Bill, but There’s One Problem” HERE)

Hillary: ‘Personal’ Emails Deleted, Server ‘Will Remain Private’

By Geoff Earle. Hillary Rodham Clinton revealed Tuesday that she deleted more than 30,000 “personal” e-mails from her tenure as secretary of state — and won’t allow access to the private computer server she used to send them.

“The server will remain private,” she declared — claiming the off-limits e-mails were about “yoga routines, family vacations” and other matters that had nothing to do with government.

Clinton broke her silence on the proliferating e-mail controversy at the United Nations Tuesday, after previously weighing in only with a late-night tweet.

Facing a throng of reporters in an event dubbed an unofficial kickoff for her presidential campaign, Clinton said she regretted her decision to use private e-mails for official business, which she described as all about personal “convenience” and not about secrecy control, as critics charge. Obama Lies Again: Says He Learned of Hillary’s Private Email from News Reports but Personally Emailed [email protected] [+video]

By Jim Hoft. On Saturday night, President Obama told CBS’s Bill Plante that he first learned about Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email address “through news reports,” the implication being that he didn’t personally email with his Secretary of State . . .

At today’s White House briefing Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Obama did in fact email with [email protected] and had to be aware of Clinton’s private email account, making his Saturday night comments misleading at best.

Hillary Clinton’s Long History of Targeting Women

By Brent Scher. Hillary Clinton’s expected presidential campaign is being built around women’s issues, but women who have gotten in the way of her family’s political goals in the past have often been subjected to her wrath.

As Clinton has appeared at multiple events for women over the past several weeks, her record as an advocate for women has come under increased scrutiny.

Women who have accused her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of sexual misconduct have come in for special criticism from the former first lady.

One victim of Clinton’s wrath was Monica Lewinsky, whom Clinton called a “narcissistic loony toon” in private conversations with close friend Diane Blair.

Lewinsky was not the only woman who had a sexual relationship with Bill targeted by Hillary: she called Gennifer Flowers “trailer trash.” (Read more from this story HERE)
