Leftist Actress Deletes Twitter Poll That Failed to Show Support for Impeachment

Liberal actress Rosie O’Donnell was forced to delete her poll on Twitter meant to show that there was support for the impeachment of President Donald Trump after it said the opposite.

The decidedly unscientific poll showed instead that a majority of respondents didn’t want the president to be impeached. . .

Twitter polls are hardly representative of public opinion, but the attempt to manifest public support of impeachment backfired on the vehement opponent of the president.

A poll from HarrisX and The Hill published on Wednesday showed that support for the president had risen to a high for the year of 49 percent. On the other hand, a Morning Consult poll said that support for impeachment had grown greatly by 7 points to 43 percentage points. Army Warns Soldiers to Be Ready for Potential Violence by Incels at ‘Joker’ Screenings

Military commanders are warning service members about the potential for mass shootings at screenings of the upcoming film “Joker”, according to media reports.

In a Sept. 18 memo, the Army told soldiers to “identify two escape routes” and “run, hide, fight.” in the event of a shooting.

“Run if you can,” the safety notice reported by Gizmodo said. “If you’re stuck, hide, and stay quiet. If a shooter finds you, fight with whatever you can.” . . .

Elliot Rodger, who killed six people near the University of California’s Santa Barbara campus in 2014 identified as an incel. James Holmes, who open fired in a crowded Aurora, Colo., movie theater during a screening of “The Dark Knight” in 2012 has become a hero within the incel community, the website reported.

Comedian Says She Needed ‘Therapy’ Before Interviewing Conservatives for White Privilege Documentary

Comedian Chelsea Handler indicated on Wednesday that she needed psychotherapy in order to calmly interview conservatives about white privilege.

She made those comments on “The View” where she discussed her new documentary “Hello Privilege. It’s Me, Chelsea.” According to Netflix, the documentary shows Handler “explor[ing] how white privilege impacts American culture — and the ways it’s benefited her own life and career.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin brought up one of the documentary’s interviews featuring a group of conservative women. Hostin recounted how the women said white privilege was a “minuscule problem,” that African Americans had privilege too, and that one of the parents is always missing in black families. . .

“Well, listen,” Handler responded, “I had to do a lot of therapy to even have these conversations with people because I have a temper and I’m reactive.” . . .

Handler asserted that it was important for everybody to hear others’ points of view. Alyssa Milano Complains About Second Amendment Rights: ‘Which Passage of the Bible’ Says It’s a ‘God-Given Right to Own a Gun?’ Ted Cruz Demolishes Her Argument.

In a pointed tweet, [Alyssa] Milano wrote, “Can someone cite which passage of the Bible God states it is a god-given right to own a gun? This guy is unbelievable and is clearly owned by the gun lobby.”

She was responding to a tweet from Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Texas), who promised that he would not allow the mass killer’s acts put a damper on the Second Amendment rights of Texans. . .

[Ted Cruz] wrote, “An excellent Q, worth considering carefully w/o the snark of Twitter. It is of course not the right to a modern-day firearm that is God-give [sic] but rather the right to Life & the right to Liberty. Essential to that right to life is the right to DEFEND your life & your family.”

The Texas lawmaker continued, “The right to self-defense is recognized repeatedly in the Bible, eg Exodus 22:2: ‘If a thief is caught breaking in at night & is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed.’ (Note, though, verse 3 says it IS murder if during daylight (ie, not self-defense).” . . .

Celebrities Defend Mario Lopez’s Comments About Transgender Toddlers

Even as reports circulate that television host Mario Lopez may lose his job for saying 3-year-old children should not choose their gender, some celebrities have come to Lopez’s defense. . .

When the comments got more attention over the past week, Lopez apologized for what he said, calling his previous remarks “ignorant and insensitive.”

“Mario buckled to the mob,” said radio host Charlamagne tha God on “The Breakfast Club.” “Mario Lopez said nothing wrong. We’re talking about a 3-year-old child. What logical decision can a child make at 3? You should not make that determination at 3. Let the kid grow up.”

“I’m w/ @MarioLopezExtra if you’re 3-yrs-old your ass ain’t making the rules in my house,” Hughley wrote on Twitter. “Until your ass is responsible 4 yourself, paying bills, you can’t even sign a permission slip for a field trip, then my rules. U don’t get to choose UR gender at 3.” . . .

“This is what people are deeply concerned about,” [Joe] Rogan said, “is authoritarian reinforcement of their particular way of thinking and behaving. And it’s because people have the opportunity to complain now. If you didn’t like the way someone addressed women or something, you really didn’t have a way to broadcast it 20 years ago. Actor Mario Lopez: ‘Dangerous’ for Children to Choose Their Gender

This past April, actress Charlize Theron confessed that she began treating her seven-year-old adopted son like a girl at the age of three, when he allegedly told her: “I am not a boy.” Now, “Access Hollywood” host Mario Lopez is taking heat on social media for calling Theron’s decision “dangerous.”

According to Pop Culture, Mario Lopez made his comments during an appearance on “The Candace Owens Show” last month, where the two discussed the “weird trend” in Hollywood wherein celebrities are “transitioning” their children at young ages.

“My God, if you’re three years old, I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make this determination then,” Lopez said on the show. “It’s sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on.”

Lopez said that parents need to “be the adult in the situation” when their children do what children usually do: Say confusing things about their own identity. . .

“I’m glad things are coming out into the open … so I know who to never eff with again — like [Mario Lopez] thinking he knows ANYTHING and going on a prejudiced show with an idiot host and criticizing another parent on their child transitioning. Actor Chris Pratt Attacked Over Conservative Shirt

By Fox News. Yahoo is facing heavy criticism for an article calling Chris Pratt a “white supremacist” because he wore a T-shirt with the Gadsden flag.

Pratt, best known for his starring roles in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the “Jurassic World” franchises, was seen wearing a T-shirt featuring the American flag with a coiled rattlesnake in front of it with the text, “Don’t tread on me.”

The coiled rattlesnake and the “Don’t tread on me” motto are from the iconic Gadsden flag, which was created by American general Christopher Gadsden in 1775 during the Revolutionary War. It was meant to symbolize liberty and freedom.

In recent years, the flag has been revived by the Tea Party.

The Yahoo Movies UK article, titled “Chris Pratt criticized for ‘white supremacist’ T-shirt,” stated: “Although it is one of the symbols and flags used by the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team, Metallica, as well as some libertarian groups, over the years the flag has been adopted by Far Right political groups like the Tea Party, as well as gun-toting supporters of the Second Amendment,” the article described the Gadsden flag. Paul Batura: Chris Pratt T-Shirt Craziness – Liberals’ Hypocrisy Says Much More Than Star’s Wardrobe Choice

By Fox News. . .The popular television and Marvel star was spotted wearing an American flag T-shirt with the phrase, “Don’t Tread on Me” along with a superimposed coiled rattlesnake across the design.

It turns out the T-shirt was created by the Brain Treatment Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress or brain injuries. . .

Yet to the scores of people who took to Twitter to criticize the actor, Pratt’s choice was racially insensitive, homophobic, transphobic and simply offensive. . .

In recent years, some politically conservative groups, from the Tea Party to Second Amendment advocates, have used versions of the “Gadsden Flag” to rally supporters and remind the general public that America was founded upon liberty and flourishes when government sees its role in supportive rather than supreme terms.

In modern-times, conservative groups aren’t alone in reprising or repurposing the Revolutionary War era symbolism. In addition to the Brain Treatment Association, USA Soccer has used the catchphrase, and ten states have even made the design available for license plates. Model Deluged with Hate Mail for…Getting Pregnant?

A long time ago, in an America far, far away, people would celebrate women upon whom God bestows the gift of carrying new life, even if those women happened to be Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. In 2019, however, the rules have changed. Just ask Samantha Hoopes, who told Fox News in a lengthy interview about the hate mail she received just for announcing her pregnancy.

As noted by LifeNews, Hoopes announced her pregnancy this past April in an Instagram post that extolled the power of womanhood to bring forth new life into the world. “We are so happy to finally announce baby Palella arriving in August!” wrote Hoopes. “This journey so far has opened my eyes to how beautiful the woman’s body is! It’s truly incredible what nature can do and what love between two people can create.” . . .

“I have people going into my DMs saying their goodbyes to me or that they’re leaving me forever because I’m pregnant,” Hoopes told Fox News. “This one kid wrote, ‘Wow, I followed you since I was 15 and now I’m 20. You’re pregnant now and I just wanted to say goodbye.’ Alright, goodbye, I don’t need you in my life anyway. But I am getting messages where it sounds like I’m dying or something because I’m pregnant. One wrote ‘It’s been fun these past five years. Goodbye.’ But again, you don’t need those type of people in your life.” . . .

“Really, pregnancy is so beautiful. You’re creating a baby. You’re creating a life,” she said. “You’re creating the next generation. We have the capability to do that and I’m just in awe of it all. Yes, I’m getting cellulite that I didn’t have before, but this is a beautiful moment in my life. And my bump has become my biggest accessory. READ IT: Court Releases Graphic Text Messages in Kevin Spacey Sexual Assault Case

According to Fox News, an unidentified young man who alleges that Kevin Spacey groped him repeatedly in a bar several years ago revealed to the court several text messages between him and his girlfriend on the night the alleged incident took place. Throughout the exchange, the accuser explicitly tells his girlfriend that Spacey grabbed his private area multiple times. Transcript below:

Accuser: “Like he’s hangin around me in the bar. He got my nuumber and asked me to come out with him”

. . .

Accuser: “Jesus Christ he reached down my pants” “Help” “No this is Kevin ducking spacey” “He’s gay” “Hes buying me yet another drink” “Help me” “He’s gotten me so many” “I’m drunk” “Help” “Molly” “He grabbed my d—” “Keving spacey is gay” “Check snap” “seriously help” “I’m gonna get he pic” “I got the autographs and a hell of a stout” “Story” “Help me”

. . .”Spacey’s defense wants the accuser’s iPhone, contending that portions of the text exchange were deleted to create a one-sided version of events on the night in question,” reports Fox News. “The defense has sought to conduct a forensic extraction of data and claimed the entire exchange would clear Spacey of charges. They said it would show the interactions between the actor and the then-18-year-old accuser were nothing more than consensual flirting.”

The young man’s attorney, Mitchell Garabedian, told the court that his client’s cellphone used that night could not be found. Singer Taylor Swift’s Pro-Pride Video Gets Ripped to Shreds by Left and Right

Taylor Swift dropped a new pro-LGBT video this week for Pride month — and it’s earned her blistering criticism from both the Left and Right.

In a review for The Federalist, Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky provides a scathing run-down of the video’s “breathtakingly elitist” aesthetic:

To illustrate her LGBT pride anthem, Swift assembled the glitterati, casting them as the heroes of a utopian trailer park where her feud with Katy Perry ends, and ugly gay marriage protesters meet their match in a fabulous show of celebrity force. The set, of course, almost certainly cost more than what many people who make such places their home earn in a year. “Love letters only,” reads the side of one lily white mailbox in Swift World. (Where do the bills go?)

Her creativity mysteriously lapsed when it came time to cast the protesters, who look like they should be playing banjos in “Deliverance”: toothless, badly dressed, holding misspelled signs. “Control your urges to scream about all the people you hate,” Swift demands. “Cause shade never made anybody less gay.”

It’s all grotesquely elitist when you consider that she’s mocking people with less money while appropriating a trailer park lifestyle for three minutes of breezy, colorful fun. (Support for same-sex marriage declinesalong with income and education level.) Are there a lot of crazy people who yell at Swift on the Internet? Some, sure. But she went with a very specific type. The message is basically, “We’re beautiful and right; You’re poor and dumb.” If that sounds reductive or based on caricatures that would never be tolerated if used against the left’s pet identity groups, watch the video again.
