Madonna, Fame Addicts and Underage Boobies

I found a single story that exemplifies so much of what is wrong with our society.

At a recent concert in Queensland, Australia, Madonna pulled a seventeen-year-old girl, Justa I. Candy, on to stage, Madonna told the crowd, “She’s the kind of girl you just want to slap, on the a** and pull,” and then Madonna pulled down on the nipple ring on Candy’s corset exposing one of the teenager’s breasts to the audience. Rather than being upset, Candy told the media this was “The best moment of my life,” and Candy’s mother added, “My daughter is a fierce feminist in the way I raised her. It’s something that she’ll probably cherish for the rest of her life.”

Let me point out a few of the fails in this story.

Justice Fail

If any normal person did this, it would be immediately classified as a sexual assault, but Candy claims she enjoyed the treatment from Madonna and the legal age of consent in Queensland is sixteen, so if Candy likes having her boobs whipped out at pleasure of a handsy old woman, so be it. However, it’s still illegal in Queensland to show nude images of teenagers until age eighteen, so how can Madonna’s actions possibly be anything other than a crime?

We all know the truth. The rich and famous operate under a different set of rules than we regular peasants who actually suffer the consequences of our actions. Queensland wont press charges because it would be bad publicity, so they’ll let it slide, and this does nothing but embolden nutjobs like Madonna. The media promotes this type of behavior with articles which may as well read, “Superstar Madonna Shows Teen’s Boobie! OMG LOL.” Great journalism you star blitzed, ethically void wastes of human potential.

Feminism Fail

Let me get this straight. Justa celebrates being paraded in front of the crowd in her corset, spoken to as if she’s a kinky hooker and then exposed in front of the a crowd of eager onlookers, yet she’s a good feminist. Either feminism glories in the objectification of women as sex objects or feminism is so meaningless that even those who claim to be good feminists don’t actually know what the movement represents.

I’d argue that Justa Candy and her mother actually understand a great deal about one central tenet of feminism, the double standard. As Candy’s mother put it, “People are saying what if this was a male performer, what if it was some else’s daughter – well it wasn’t another man and it wasn’t another girl it was Madonna and my daughter.” If a man exposed Candy, it would be a problem, but if a famous woman exposes her, it’s all kosher. Whatever happened to equality of the sexes?

Parenting Fail

If your teenage daughter is wearing a corset with nipple rings with your consent, you’ve failed as a parent. We could mention the facts that the corset actually belongs to you and that your child sees her nudity in front of throngs of people as the crowning achievement of her life as extra nails in the coffin, but the nipple ring corset alone really kills any pretense you may have had of being a serious parental figure. Just go to your bathroom mirror, look at yourself, say, “I have failed my child,” and have yourself a good cry. You might even bring a bottle of wine to salve your pain. The wine wont make you a better parent, but your kid is probably too far gone at this point anyway.

Fame Fail

Why exactly is Justa okay with being partially nude in front of people? Simple, Justa I. Candy wants to be a model and put her body on display for a living, and since she has now gained a lot of exposure (in multiple senses of the word), she might succeed in that goal.

As someone who champions the right of the individuals to do whatever they choose with their lives, I 100% support Candy’s right to take off her clothes for money, but that doesn’t change the fact that Justa is trying to follow the Paris Hilton path of being famous not for the quality of her actions but for the contents of her undergarments. Justa says that being stripped is the best thing that ever happened to her, and if Justa only cares about her fifteen minutes of fame, she’s probably right. Right now, the entire world is looking at her and her beautiful body, and if she’s lucky, she might become a professional model where she’ll be ogled for three more years before being replaced by a younger and more beautiful teenager seeking the same cheap route to popularity, and what then will become of Miss Candy who is so starved for attention and affirmation that she thinks being told she has a slappable posterior before being stripped is as good as her life will ever get?

In case you’ve been wondering, Justa I. Candy is not the teenager’s real name. I gave Candy this nickname because I think that’s how Candy perceives herself. She celebrates and encourages her own objectification, and that’s her right, but I want no part of it. That’s why instead of helping her career as a professional naked person by mentioning her real name and showing the many photos of her in various states of undress, I’m showing pictures of kittens which in my opinion hold more cuteness and infinitely more self-confidence than this poor girl who eagerly wants to trade sexy pictures of herself for fame.

Trump Rallies – Don’t Excuse Evil from Either Side

People both for and against Trump have been acting like dicks at recent Trump rallies. Many protestors have been illegally blocking traffic, screaming in people’s faces and shoving those in their path. Many Trump supporters have responded by screaming at protestors, pushing them and in some cases outright assaulting them.

You can fight fists with fists and guns with guns, but you cannot fight hatred with hatred. Trying to stop offensive behavior by being offensive is like trying to douse a fire with gasoline. Releasing your fury on your political enemies will never change their hearts and will always ignite a more vitriolic response.

Everyone with integrity must control their anger and put principles above politics by condemning wrongdoing on both sides.

With that in mind, let’s look at one of the latest scandals to erupt from a Trump protest. Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski yanked a protestor backwards by the collar. This is the same guy who was accused by multiple news organizations of tossing a Breitbart reporter out of his way two weeks ago. Unlike the Brietbart incident, this latest altercation was clearly caught on video, and there is no denying the plain truth.

At least you’d think it would be impossible to deny the truth, and yet Trump as always has found a way. The Trump campaign released a statement blaming the collar yanking on another man standing by Lewandowski even though the video plainly proves Lewandowski to be the culprit, yet because people are angry, I suspect some conservatives will excuse the attack and the lie.

If we look the other way, what are we teaching Trump? We’re telling Trump, “As long as you are hurting the people we hate, we’ve got your back.” Can’t you foresee the kind of monster it will create if we continue to show Trump he can get away with anything?

You have to make your own decision, but I refuse to go down that path. Wrong is wrong, and I condemn it regardless of the perpetrator. I urge you to do the same. Watch: Chris Rock Brings Stacey Dash Onstage as ‘Director’ of Oscars ‘Minority Outreach Program.’ What Happens Next May Be the Show’s Most Awkward Moment

Actress and Fox News personality Stacey Dash says she wants to bring a different kind of diversity to Hollywood — and that’s why she participated in one of the oddest Oscar moments.

The former “Clueless” actress has attracted attention lately for her conservative viewpoints, including suggesting on Fox that there should not be a Black History Month. Dash, who is black, also spoke out against people complaining that the Oscars didn’t reflect diversity.

Watch the awkward moment below:

Stacey Dash Explains Her Oscars Appearance

By Maeve McDermott. The Clueless star, who’s sparked controversy by speaking out against #OscarsSoWhite and Black History Month, was summoned by the evening’s host Chris Rock, walking on stage and wishing the audience a happy Black History Month before immediately leaving . . .

[She] Explained why she’s “spoken out about a LOT of stuff that black people try to stuff down my throat.”

For example, I spoke out against Black History Month. (Why should there be such a thing? Haven’t we had more than just one month’s worth of accomplishments? Hear my thoughts HERE.) Plus, I spoke out against the #OscarsSoWhite controversy HERE. My take? We need to stop complaining about white people oppressing us, we shouldn’t boycott the Oscars, and we need to support Chris Rock the host.

And then told us why she was invited onstage (well, kinda).

Which brings me to the joke. When they added ME to increase the diversity, I’m sure many black people rolled their eyes. I’m not “black enough,” they say. But guess what? I’ve heard that all my life. I would rather be a free thinking, black than a cookie cutter black who thinks – and votes – just like all my friends.

Hollywood All-Stars Preach Gospel of Christ?

The Coen brothers, makers of the star-studded “Hail, Caesar!” in theaters now, have shown they’re not afraid to make Christian faith a significant part of their films . . .

The film takes us back to a movie studio in the 1950s, the days of Cecil B. DeMille, “Ben-Hur” and “The Ten Commandments.” Capital Pictures is in the middle of making another biblical epic – titled, naturally, “Hail, Caesar!” – when the film’s star is suddenly kidnapped for ransom. It’s then up to the studio fix-it man to keep the cameras rolling and find the star so the movie can wrap in time.

The modern “Hail, Caesar!” is aided by an all-star collection of Hollywood A-listers. George Clooney lends his charismatic charm as the kidnapped star, and Ralph Fiennes is uproariously funny as the frustrated director Laurence Laurentz. Also making brief appearances are Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Channing Tatum and Tilda Swinton. Josh Brolin plays the largest role and main character as the studio fixer . . .

And speaking of making fun, it’s hard to know whether this movie is genuine in its many depictions of faith, or if Christianity is the butt of a joke.

On one hand, the protagonist is seen in moments of genuine prayer, and it’s the words of his priest, “God wants us to do what’s right,” that help him make a major decision in his life. There’s also a scene where another Catholic priest plainly spells out the divinity of Christ and the meaning of His atoning death. During a scene of filming at Calvary, a Roman soldier testifies to the love of Christ, the truth in His words and the meaning of His death for our sin. Watch: Actress Stacey Dash Just Shut Down Oscars Boycott by Pointing out One Thing

Controversial Fox News Channel contributor Stacey Dash weighed in on the brewing controversy surrounding this year’s Academy Award nominations.

With a dearth of black actors up for prominent recognition, actor Jada Pinkett-Smith and director Spike Lee have announced they will be boycotting the Oscars. While Dash acknowledged that the issue being raised is worthy of discussion, she noted one inconvenient fact regarding the timing of this trend.

“What I find astonishing,” she told Fox & Friends cohost Steve Doocy, “is we’ve had a black president in office for the past eight years who gets most of his funding from the liberal elite in Hollywood, yet there aren’t many roles for people of color.”

Criticizing what she portrayed as a hypocritical ideology, Dash pointed out that there are corresponding awards ceremonies with a very blatant racial discrimination against white entertainers.

“I think it’s ludicrous,” she said of the boycott, “because we have to make up our minds. Either we have integration or segregation. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET, and the BET Awards and the Image Awards – where you’re only awarded if you’re black.” (Read more from “Watch: Actress Stacey Dash Just Shut Down Oscars Boycott by Pointing out One Thing” HERE)

Hollywood Star Just Broke His Silence and DESTROYED Fellow Celebrities in Most Brutally Honest Way

While a number of celebrities and other high-profile Americans – including Barack Obama – have faced criticism for their perceived or explicit disdain for Israel, one popular Saturday Night Live alum recently joined talk radio legend Howard Stern in firmly defending the longtime U.S. ally.

Adam Sandler appeared on Stern’s program recently to applaud the host for taking a stand against musician Roger Waters, who declared he would not perform in Israel.

“I’m disgusted that they single out Israel,” Sandler said, “that, ‘We can’t play Israel.’ All these f—king nice Israeli people are getting a f—k you from Roger Waters.”

Sandler went on to acknowledge that, while he is not “crazy religious,” he is “proud of being a Jew” and is an outspoken defender of the Jewish nation.

“I’m very pro-Israel,” he confirmed, “and when someone says s—t about Israel – I know people say s—t about Israel – and they f—king won’t play,” he told Stern, “and when you go off on Roger Waters, I love that you do that.” (Read more from “Hollywood Star Just Broke His Silence and DESTROYED Fellow Celebrities in Most Brutally Honest Way” HERE)

Hollywood Megastar: ‘Of Course I Have Guns, and I Shoot Them’

‘Sure I believe in the right to bear arms, as guaranteed under the Second Amendment of the American constitution,’ explains 64-year-old Kurt Russell, Hollywood A-lister and long-term partner of Goldie Hawn . . .

‘This is what people need to understand,’ he continues when asked about gun reform after the most recent school shootings in the States and the terrorist attack in San Bernardino that left 14 dead and 22 injured.

‘Now is not a good time to lay down your weapons – how will you protect yourself?

‘I am a libertarian, a hardcore one, and of course I have guns. I shoot things with them. I hunt game.’

Lose the last three and they are words that could quite easily be escaping from beneath the unkempt but extravagant whiskers of his character John ‘The Hangman’ Ruth – a 19th-century bounty hunter handcuffed to his wretched female prize (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and trapped by a blizzard in a remote staging post with a rum collection of coves. It is the premise of the latest Quentin Tarantino epic, The Hateful Eight. (Read more from “Hollywood Megastar: ‘Of Course I Have Guns, and I Shoot Them'” HERE)

Major Hollywood Actor Opens up About His Christian Faith

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, who will play the apostle Paul in an upcoming film, has opened up about his Christian faith and revealed that he seeks to honor God with his performances.

In a recent interview with Parade magazine, the 46-year-old Australian native first revealed that he was inspired to go into acting as a young boy after watching pastors speak in church.

“I’m a Christian. I was brought up very religious. I used to go to different evangelists’ [revival] tents all the time,” he said, “When I was about 13, I had a weird premonition that I was going to be onstage, like the preachers I saw.”

When asked what acting gives him that he “really needs”, Jackman said, “That’s the best question I’ve ever been asked. Peace. There are things driving me that aren’t all healthy-[needing] approval and respect to fill some hole who-knows-where in me. Am I worthy? All those fears. Through acting, I’m able to find a level of bliss and peace and calm and joy. And it feels natural” . . .

“This is going to sound weird to you. In Chariots of Fire the runner Eric Liddell says, ‘When I run, I feel His pleasure.’ And I feel that pleasure when I act and it’s going well, particularly onstage,” Jackman said. (Read more from “Major Hollywood Actor Opens up About His Christian Faith” HERE)

Chris Pratt: Equality Means Objectifying Men AND Women

Pratt used to weigh almost 300 pounds, but he lost 60 pounds in six months after he quit drinking beer and started working out with a trainer six days a week to prepare for his role in “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

He credits the weight loss with the shift in his career, and said that even though he’s objectified now, he’s OK with it.

“I think it’s appalling that for a long time only women were objectified,” Pratt said in an interview. “But I think if we really want to advocate for equality, it’s important to even things out.”

“Not objectify women less, but objectify men just as often as we objectify women.” (Read more from “Chris Pratt: Equality Means Objectifying Men AND Women” HERE)

Huge Hollywood Actor Is as Pro Gun as It Gets

World famous comedian and movie star Vince Vaughn came out with a double barrel defense of gun rights during a recent interview, calling for guns in schools and arguing the Second Amendment is intended to defend against “the supreme power of a corrupt and abusive government.”

The star of the new season of the hit HBO series “True Detective,” outlined his pro-gun views during an interview with British GQ, which released excerpts of the sit down June 1. Vaughn — who has outlined his distinctly libertarian views in recent press sit-downs — stands in sharp contrast to many of his Hollywood colleagues who call for bans on firearm ownership.

“We have the right to bear arms to resist the supreme power of a corrupt and abusive government,” Vaughn told British GQ. “It’s not about duck hunting; it’s about the ability of the individual. It’s the same reason we have freedom of speech. It’s well known that the greatest defense against an intruder is the sound of a gun hammer being pulled back” . . .

“Take mass shootings. They’ve only happened in places that don’t allow guns,” Vaughn explained, mirroring arguments from noted gun crime researcher Dr. John Lott. “In all of our schools it is illegal to have guns on campus, so again and again these guys go and shoot up these f***ing schools because they know there are no guns there.” (Read more from “Huge Hollywood Actor Is as pro Gun as It Gets” HERE)

Surprise: Many Rock the Vote Celebs Didn't Vote in 2010 Midterms

Photo Credit: TownHallIn case you missed Rock the Vote’s video this year, celebrities such as Lena Dunham, Sophia Bush, and Ireland Baldwin explain in a parody of Lil Jon’s “Turn Out for What” why they’re going to vote in the midterm elections. The group bills itself as a non-partisan organization seeking to drive the youth vote, but it’s really about as liberal as you can get, as Cortney has already explained.

It probably comes as no surprise, then, that at least five of the celebrities in the video didn’t even vote in the last midterm election.

Didn’t vote in the last midterm elections? It turns out many of the celebrities pressuring young people to vote in tomorrow’s off-year elections didn’t cast a ballot last time, either.

According to the Washington Post at least five stars who participated in a recent Rock the Vote video urging youth to exercise their franchise didn’t bother to show up to the polls themselves in 2010.

View co-host Whoppi Goldberg, Orange is the New Black’s Natasha Lyonne, Glee’s Darren Criss, Girls creator Lena Dunham and Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star E.J. Johnson did not vote in the last midterm election, the Post discovered.
