GOP Slams FBI ‘Suppression’ of Hunter Biden Whistleblower

Republicans blasted the FBI as politically biased Monday after The Post reported that disgraced ex-FBI agent Timothy Thibault was the “point man” for former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski — and never followed up with him about his bombshell claims.

Bobulinski alleged one month before the 2020 election that Joe Biden was involved with his son Hunter and brother Jim’s dealings with Chinese energy company CEFC, which reportedly paid the Bidens $4.8 million in 2017 and 2018.

Bobulinski, who heard radio silence from Thibault, alleged that he spoke with Joe Biden about the Chinese government-linked CEFC deal and that the then-candidate was referred to as the “big guy” due a 10% cut in a new corporate entity. Another Hunter Biden business associate, James Gilliar, also identified Joe Biden as the “big guy.”

“Unfortunately, Tony Bobulinski’s first-hand eyewitness testimony regarding President Biden’s knowledge of Hunter Biden’s compromising web of foreign financial entanglements, especially with the Chinese, was not only ignored by the media, but also by the FBI,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told The Post.

“The suppression and censoring of his testimony and Hunter’s influence peddling impacted the 2020 election to a far greater extent than anything Russia or China could have ever achieved,” said Johnson, a former chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Hunter Biden’s Ex-Business Partner Has Concerns FBI Agent Hid Info in Investigation: Report

One of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, Tony Bobulinski, is worried that former elite FBI agent Timothy Thibault may have helped hide information he provided the bureau about his relationship with the Biden family, directly familiar sources told The Washington Free Beacon.

The sources said Thibault interacted with Tony Bobulinski’s lawyers more than once after his five-hour October 2020 FBI interview in the bureau’s Hunter Biden probe, according to the outlet. They claimed the FBI never contacted Bobulinski after Thibault told the attorneys the bureau would reach out if further information were necessary.

Legislators have brought up accusations that Thibault tried to stifle an FBI inquiry into Hunter Biden, pushed for some cases to be improperly branded “domestic violent extremism,” and had “highly partisan” social media habits. He was removed from a role as assistant special agent in charge at the FBI’s Washington, D.C. field office before retiring last week.

Thibault also reportedly was “running point” in the FBI’s interactions with Bobulinski, The Washington Free Beacon reported; however, Thibault’s lawyers have claimed he was never involved in a supervisory role in the Hunter Biden investigation.

“Mr. Thibault did not supervise the investigation of Hunter Biden, which, as confirmed by the FBI Director on August 4, 2022, is being handled by the Baltimore Field Office,” Thibault’s counsel previously told the DCNF. “In particular, Mr. Thibault was not involved in any decisions related to any laptop that may be at issue in that investigation, and he did not seek to close the investigation.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden’s Ex-Business Partner Has Concerns FBI Agent Hid Info in Investigation: Report” HERE)

ZUCKERBERG BOMBSHELL: Facebook Restricted Hunter Laptop Story at FBI’s Request; Suggests Feds Intervened in Election on Behalf of Biden (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. The FBI warned Facebook of an imminent “dump” of “Russian propaganda” shortly before the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” story broke, according to Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg revealed the bombshell news on his first appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, which was published today, revealing the FBI’s interference in the 2020 election.

“The FBI, I think basically came to us — some folks on our team and was like, ‘Hey, um, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert. There was the — we thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump of — that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.’”

Shortly afterwards, the New York Post published its first article about Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell.” The story was immediately shut down by Twitter, while Facebook reduced its distribution — meaning it appeared on fewer people’s newsfeeds to a “meaningful” degree, according to Zuckerberg.

“We just kind of thought, Hey look, if the FBI, which, you know, I still view as a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement,” Zuckerberg told Rogan. “They come to us and tell us that we need to be on guard about something. Mark Zuckerberg Tells Joe Rogan FBI Warned Facebook of ‘Russian Propaganda’ Before Hunter Biden Laptop Story

By Fox News. . .Zuckerberg insisted that Facebook users were “still allowed to share” the Post’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop even as their “third-party fact-checking program” was looking into whether it was misinformation, but acknowledged that the “ranking in [the] news feed was a little bit less” and that “fewer people saw it than would’ve otherwise.”

“By what percentage?” Rogan asked.

“I don’t know off the top of my head, but it’s- it’s meaningful,” Zuckerberg responded. “But we weren’t sort of as black and white about it as Twitter. We just kind of thought hey look, if the FBI, which I still view is a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement- they come to us and tell us that we need to be on guard about something then I want to take that seriously.” . . .

When asked if there was any “regret” about suppressing a story that turned out be factual, Zuckerberg replied, “Yeah, yeah. I mean, it sucks.”

However, he went on to defend Facebook’s practices, telling Rogan its process was “pretty reasonable” since his platform still allowed the New York Post articles to be distributed rather than the complete blackout that Twitter enforced. New FBI Whistleblower Claims Bureau Leadership Slow-Walked Hunter Biden Investigation

The FBI slow-walked its investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop, including telling some bureau employees not to look at the hard drive belonging to President Joe Biden’s son, according to reported whistleblower disclosures made public by a top Senate Republican.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) sent a letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Tuesday about the new whistleblower claims, following disclosures made public last month about the bureau allegedly wrongly labeling Hunter Biden evidence as “disinformation” in 2020.

“Whistleblowers have recently contacted my office to share serious concerns about the FBI’s handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Johnson told Horowitz, telling the watchdog that after the FBI obtained the laptop from a Delaware computer shop in late 2019, local FBI leadership told bureau employees that “you will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop” and that the FBI is “not going to change the outcome of the election again,” the whistleblowers said.

Johnson said the new whistleblower claims “allege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 presidential election — potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in Dec. 2019.”

Watchdog Unveils Sweeping Records Investigation Into Biden Family

A conservative legal group has sent several requests to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for records related to Hunter Biden during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.

America First Legal (AFL), which is led by former senior members of the Trump administration, filed three separate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests Tuesday to NARA. The nonprofit is asking for a wide variety of information related to those who had financial relationships with Hunter Biden and James Biden in connection with their business dealings overseas, White House visits by them both and also then-vice president Biden’s communications with Hunter and James.

“America First Legal will use every resource at our disposal to oppose and ultimately overcome this lawless, autocratic, malicious third world corruption,” Stephen Miller, president of AFL and a former senior adviser for former President Donald Trump, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Civilization is on the line.”

The U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) probe into Hunter Biden’s domestic and foreign dealings has reached a “critical juncture,” CNN reported in July. The investigation, which is being conducted by Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss and was launched as early as 2018, is now centered around the Biden son’s alleged tax and foreign lobbying violations and alleged involvement in a 2018 gun incident. Hunter Biden Joins Joe for Vacation as GOP Slams FBI for ‘Double Standard’ After Trump Raid

Disgraced first son Hunter Biden joined his father on Air Force One Wednesday for a flight to a family vacation on Kiawah Island, South Carolina — as Republicans slam the FBI for a “double standard” in raiding former President Trump’s residence, but neither of the Bidens’ homes.

Hunter Biden often involved his father Joe in foreign business deals and is under federal investigation for tax fraud, money laundering and unregistered lobbying — but there’s no indication that either father or son have been raided by the FBI in connection with the long-running investigation. . .

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said that the FBI’s treatment of Trump as opposed to the Bidens showed a “Banana Republic”-style legal system.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted Tuesday: “Look at what the DOJ did last night to President Trump, while it slow-rolls and looks the other way on Hunter Biden.”

Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) tweeted, “The raid on President Trump’s home sets a dangerous precedent and takes the targeting of political opponents to an alarming new level. Guilty Plea Likely Outcome in Hunter Biden Case, Legal Experts Say

The sprawling Hunter Biden probe is hurtling toward a conclusion, and former prosecutors who have followed the case say signs point to a “generous” guilty plea deal that would spare the Biden administration further embarrassment.

Media outlets have reported that the grand jury probe of President Biden’s second son has reached a “critical stage” as prosecutors consider charges.

Hunter Biden has not been charged with wrongdoing, but investigators have been looking into suspected violations of federal gun and tax laws. He is also under federal scrutiny for suspicion of money laundering and violation of foreign lobbying requirements tied to his overseas business dealings.

Joe Biden Met Chinese Energy Execs With Ties to Hunter at White House in 2014

Joe Biden hosted a White House meeting with two Chinese energy executives with ties to his son Hunter back when he was vice president in 2014, records show.

The president, who still insists he never spoke to Hunter about his son’s overseas business dealings, met the two executives from Wanxiang — a major Chinese company — in the West Wing on July 25, 2014, according to White House visitor logs.

Wanxiang America president, Pin Ni, and Wanxiang Resources Co. president, Youhong Han, were at the White House for just over an hour — after the last-minute meeting was scheduled a day earlier, the records, first reported by the Daily Mail, show.

A client of Hunter’s Seneca Global Advisors company, GreatPoint Energy, had previously partnered with Wanxiang in 2012 for a $1.25 billion natural gas plant in China.

Hunter was also linked to the Chinese company via his investment in the Fisker car business, which was bought by Wanxiang in February 2014. Biden’s son had previously purchased one of Fisker’s electric sports cars for more than $100,000. There’s a Serious Problem With the DOJ Investigation Into Hunter Biden

The trail of breadcrumbs that Hunter Biden left goes beyond that of Hansel and Gretel, but no one wants to look into this guy. The crack addict has been a public relations nightmare for his father, yet the liberal media’s shield of protection prevents any accountability.

The shady government access deals have been widely known among some of us since Tony Bobulinski went on record to discuss the 2017 deal that fell through with CEFC China Energy. The Biden family was still compensated for their time, however. This deal involved Joe Biden, “the big guy,” and showed the president lied about not knowing his son’s allegedly corrupt foreign exploits. The Hunter Biden laptop has been a treasure trove of inquiry into potentially felonious activity, but no one wants to touch it for the most part. If Hunter were the son of a Republican, this would be the top story for months.

Mia has combed through that iCloud, a Pandora’s Box of debauchery. While the crack cocaine, hookers, white claws, and M&M stories are fun, the tax evasion probe is real and ongoing. Yet, there’s a serious snag. Delaware’s US Attorney’s Office isn’t big enough to handle the investigation. They lack the resources to investigate all the angles of the case. Hunter Biden and corruption is an ever-growing amoeba, and this office is reportedly in dire need of reinforcements.

The Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office investigating Hunter Biden lacks the wherewithal and resources to adequately probe the dubious financial dealings of the Biden family and their business partners, according to three current or former Department of Justice officials.

“If any single one of the dozens of issues had been alleged about the Bush or Trump families, a special counsel would have been appointed immediately,” said one career official familiar with the probe. “[The Delaware office] needs help. There’s no way it can tackle everything it needs to, even if it tried.” Two other officials also expressed concern about resources available to the investigation, particularly given the political sensitivity and complexity of the underlying issues.

‘The Big Guy’ Hunter’s Biz Partner Called Biden in Panicked Text After Post’s Laptop Story

One of Hunter Biden’s former business partners referred to Joe Biden as “the Big Guy” in a panicked message the same day The Post broke news of the infamous laptop from hell left behind by the president’s son, The Post has learned.

James Gilliar, a former British special forces officer with ties to UK intelligence services, discussed The Post’s exclusive report with an unnamed person on Oct. 14, 2020, according to the message provided by a whistleblower to GOP congressional investigators probing the laptop.

In the message, Gilliar, 58, reassured the person that the revelations about Biden’s apparent involvement in his son’s foreign deals would not be damaging — regardless of the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

Gilliar was asked if “Hunter and/or Joe or Joe’s campaign [would] try to make it ‘Oh, we were never involved’ … and try to basically make us collateral damage?” . . .
