Biden’s Anti-Gun Speech Was a Trainwreck (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden delivered an anti-gun speech hours after his son, Hunter, was convicted on federal gun charges. It’s no shock that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre opted not to brief the press, scurrying away like a scared wombat to avoid the obvious questions about this part of Biden’s schedule. Biden delivered this address at Everytown for Gun Safety’s Gun Sense University in Washington, D.C. It was an absolute trainwreck.

The father of a gun felon delivering a speech on gun control—you can’t make that up. It was riddled with inaccuracies and overall strangeness. Biden spoke about how he convinced a Delaware fisherman to relinquish his “assault weapon.” Then, there was this jabberwocky about magazines that could carry “200 shells,” botched a Thomas Jefferson quote, spoke about teaching jobs he never had, and then trotted the lie that no one could own a cannon. The president also said that guns kill more children than car accidents or cancer and that the gun industry is the only sector protected by a legal shield–all of which are lies.

Hunter Biden Gun Trial Verdict Will Be Used as Distraction From Biden Corruption

Hunter Biden receiving a felony conviction on three gun charges in Delaware allows the left to claim “no one is above the law,” while distracting from the much more serious allegations against the first son— and his father.

The case Hunter was convicted in Tuesday — relating to an illegal gun purchase in 2018 — is a distraction from the obvious corruption by the Biden scion that has been public for many years and which includes his father, according to a mountain of evidence uncovered both by journalists and the House Oversight Committee, and which dwarfs the gun crime in damage to society.

So there is now a narrative dash by Democrats and the media to lump Hunter’s entire situation into this one case, insinuate that they have all been reconciled because he was found “guilty,” and then conveniently claim justice is blind, following the obviously political conviction of Donald Trump.

“This verdict certainly flies in the face of everything that the former president has been pushing, trying to undermine the legal and the justice system,” ABC News’ Rachel Scott said Tuesday. “And we know President Biden has come out very strongly against that. And it was notable that he told you just days ago that he would respect the outcome of this verdict regardless of what happens.”

Within minutes of Hunter’s guilty verdict being announced, Democratic Party activists in the media raced to proclaim it meant “a really good day for the American system,” “the law applies to everybody,” and that Joe Biden is the “living embodiment of the rule of law”! Former Intel Officials Stand by Debunked Russian Disinfo Claim on Hunter Biden’s Laptop

Despite recent revelations and testimonies debunking their claims, none of the 51 former intelligence officials who suggested that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election have retracted their statements.

Reports indicate that these officials were aware their claims were false at the time. The FBI had possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop, and FBI agent Erika Jensen testified last week in Hunter Biden’s gun trial that the laptop was real and had not been tampered with. This testimony contradicted previous claims that the laptop’s data had been hacked or manipulated as part of a Russian disinformation effort to aid former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

The controversy began when Breitbart News’ Emma-Jo Morris, then with the New York Post, broke the “laptop from hell” story in October 2020. Shortly thereafter, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand published a Politico story citing “dozens of former intel officials” who asserted that the laptop’s origins were likely tied to a Russian disinformation campaign. This narrative was used by then-presidential candidate Joe Biden to discredit the laptop’s contents during a debate with Trump.

Current Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been implicated in coordinating this story for political purposes. Despite widespread acceptance of the Politico story at the time, major media outlets, including CNN, eventually admitted more than 500 days later that the story was false.

When confronted, many of the former intelligence officials stood by their original claims. Former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, for instance, expressed no regret over signing the letter. Similarly, other signatories like Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Douglas Wise, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher, Emile Nakhleh, and Gerald O’Shea defended their actions as “patriotic.”

Their lawyer, in a statement to Fox News, reiterated this sentiment, suggesting that the letter was a warning about ongoing foreign interference and that its content remains accurate in that context. Greg Treverton, former chair of the National Intelligence Council, dismissed the controversy as “very old news” and maintained that their inference was based on experience. Russ Travers, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, also downplayed the issue, indicating it had been addressed years ago.

The jury selection for Hunter Biden’s gun case finalized on Monday with 12 jurists and four alternates. . .

Both the prosecution and the defense struck several potential jurists from the initial jury pool. According to NBC News, the jurists who remain are:

#3: A woman who watches “CBS Evening News” every night
#5: A woman who worked for the Secret Service
#16: A woman who heard about the case on YouTube
#19: A woman who thinks that people who smoke marijuana should be allowed to own guns

Joe Biden’s Looming Presence Over Hunter’s Trial Serves as a Warning to Their Political Enemies

The president flew into Wilmington, Del., on Sunday night, where his 54-year-old son’s felony gun trial begins Monday, and will spend the whole day there with no official duties.

Joe Biden’s looming presence in the strange small city leaves nobody in any doubt of the message he is sending to Delaware special counsel David Weiss, to the prosecutors, the judge, and the jury pool being chosen Monday. You mess with my son; you mess with me.

It’s all very subtle, in a flagrant way, much like Joe’s impromptu visit to Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau and former lover of Hunter, just nine days before his son’s trial, at which she is the star witness for the prosecution.

It was Hallie who threw Hunter’s new handgun in a trash can in October 2018 out of concern for his drug-addled mental state, creating a ticking legal time bomb that would propel him into court six years later.

It was Hallie who found drugs and drug paraphernalia in his truck. Hallie, 50, even shared his crack addiction for a time, amid multiple drug rehab efforts. (Read more from “Joe Biden’s Looming Presence Over Hunter’s Trial Serves as a Warning to Their Political Enemies” HERE)

Hunter Biden’s Latest Legal Allegation Could Be ‘Very Bad’ for American Journalism, Analysts Say

Jammed in the letter Hunter Biden’s lawyers sent to Fox News, which led to the company pulling a documentary, is a legal allegation that has serious implications for American journalism, analysts told the Daily Caller.

Biden’s lawyers accused Fox of unlawfully exploiting his name, image and likeness (NIL) and violating revenge porn laws. The first son’s legal team also argued that certain claims made by former FBI confidential human source (CHS) Alexander Smirnov, which Fox used in their reporting, had been “debunked.” Aaron Terr, Director of Public Advocacy for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), told the Daily Caller that if the revenge porn allegations were to succeed, “that would be a very bad ruling for a free press.”

“The media has the first amendment right to publish even illegally obtained information as long as they didn’t participate in the illegal conduct itself. So, of course, the government can punish the hacker. But the First Amendment broadly protects the right of the press to report on information in the public interest, or that’s already been made publicly available, even if some uninvolved party was responsible or participated in some illegal activity that resulted in the information becoming public,” Terr said.

Biden’s lawyers demanded the network remove their documentary, “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” from their Fox Nation streaming platform. The Biden team asserts the usage of the pictures violates his privacy rights under New York Civil Rights Law and that the series exploits his NIL.

“Here, without Mr. Biden’s consent, Fox Nation produced and aired an entirely fictional six-part ‘mock trial,’” Biden’s lawyers wrote. They argue that Fox was not reporting on a newsworthy event, but rather “sought to ‘commercialize Mr. Biden’s personality through a form of treatment distinct from the dissemination of news or information.’” (Read more from “Hunter Biden’s Latest Legal Allegation Could Be ‘Very Bad’ for American Journalism, Analysts Say” HERE)

Joe Biden Visits Hunter’s Ex Before She Likely Testifies in Gun Trial

President Joe Biden visited Hallie Biden, the former wife of Beau Biden and Hunter Biden’s former lover, before she will likely testify in Hunter’s gun trial, the White House press pool reported Sunday.

The White House said Joe Biden’s visit with his daughter-in-law had nothing to do with Hunter’s pending gun trial. It claimed instead the visit was to commemorate the upcoming ninth anniversary of Beau’s passing from cancer.

Hallie is expected to testify as a witness in Hunter’s gun trial. A 2018 police report showed she tossed a gun owned by Hunter in a dumpster behind a grocer, a source told Fox News. . .
Hunter refused in July to accept a plea deal laid out by prosecutors in the case after negotiations fell apart as a result of Judge Maryellen Noreika’s scrutiny of a “diversion agreement.”

The original “sweetheart” plea deal afforded Hunter the ability to plead guilty for not paying taxes on more than $1.5 million in income in 2017 and 2018, receiving probation rather than jail time. In addition, Special Counsel David Weiss devised a separate diversion agreement that gave Hunter immunity from potential future charges, including a provision to potentially wipe a felony gun violation from his record. New Court Document Raises Serious Questions About Secret Service Involvement in Hunter Biden Gun Case

An otherwise innocuous court filing is raising new questions this week over the Secret Service’s denials that agents inserted themselves into the Hunter Biden gun case.

Days before the 2020 election, Blaze News reported that Secret Service agents visited the Delaware gun shop — StarQuest Shooters & Survival Supply — where Hunter Biden purchased a .38 caliber handgun in October 2018. During that transaction, Hunter allegedly lied on an ATF 4473 form about being a drug user. . .

Citing sources with “firsthand knowledge of the episode,” Politico reported that Secret Service agents approached the gun store owner, Ron Palimere, about two weeks after Hunter’s firearm transaction, requesting the paperwork involved in the sale.

At the time, the Secret Service denied any involvement in the incident.

More than three years later, special counsel David Weiss — who is preparing to prosecute the first son for allegedly lying on that ATF form — filed new evidentiary documents ahead of Hunter’s trial next month. CIA Blocked Probe Into Hunter Biden’s ‘Sugar Brother,’ Docs Show

The CIA appeared to instruct the Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for Delaware, Lesley Wolf, to block an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) team’s investigation into Hunter Biden from using his benefactor, Kevin Morris, as a witness, IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley said in an affidavit the House Ways and Means Committee released Wednesday.

Shapley, as a lead investigator for the IRS Criminal Division, was heading a probe into Biden in August 2021 when Wolf informed him that she and DOJ Tax Attorney Jack Morgan had been summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Wolf, Morgan and the CIA discussed Hunter Biden’s associate and benefactor, Kevin Morris, Shapley said in the affidavit.

Shapley and his team were considering using Morris as a witness for their case against Biden, but Wolf apparently shut the possibility down.

“AUSA Wolf stated that they were provided a classified briefing in relation to Mr. Morris and as a result we could no longer pursue him as a witness,” Shapley stated.

Morris has been a generous donor to Biden, buying 11 of his paintings and loaning him at least $5 million for tax debts and to cover personal expenses, Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer revealed in a January press release. (Read more from “CIA Blocked Probe Into Hunter Biden’s ‘Sugar Brother,’ Docs Show” HERE)

Hunter Biden’s Infamous Laptop — Which the Post Exposed and He Denied — Will Be Used as Evidence in Gun Case

So much for having “all the hallmarks” of Russian disinformation. So much for “it could be that I was hacked.”

Almost four full years after Big Tech suppressed The Post’s bombshell reporting on Hunter Biden’s abandoned “laptop from hell” with its evidence of influence-peddling, drug use, and other lurid activity, the device will take center stage in the first son’s federal trial on gun charges next month.

Special counsel David Weiss’ team made clear that it intends to use data from the notorious hard drive as evidence against the now-54-year-old.

“The defendant’s laptop is real (it will be introduced as a trial exhibit) and it contains significant evidence of the defendant’s guilt,” prosecutor Derek Hines wrote in a scathing filing Wednesday.

Hines underscored that the laptop data the special counsel will reference is “self-authenticating” and will be “introduced with corroborating evidence at trial.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden’s Infamous Laptop — Which the Post Exposed and He Denied — Will Be Used as Evidence in Gun Case” HERE)
