Alleged Gun-Toting, Drug-Dealing Migrant Squatters Released Without Bail

Six of the eight alleged gun-toting and drug-dealing migrant squatters were released without bail Friday, New York Post reported.

The neighborhood was outraged after six migrant squatters allegedly engaged in illicit activities were released without bail, according to the New York Post. Judge Eugene D. Bowen from the Bronx Criminal Court let Hector Desousa-Villalta go on supervised release last Friday night, even though the district attorney wanted his bail set at either $150,000 in cash or $450,000 bond, says the DA’s office, New York Post stated.

Bowen also let two more people, Yoessy Pino Castillo and Jefferson Orlando Abreau, go without bail after their court appearances Friday, as the DA’s office and court records show, New York Post reported. Another judge from the same court, Laurence Busching, allowed three additional individuals — Yojairo Martinez, Johan Cardenas Silva, and Yerbin Lozado-Munoz — to leave on supervised release after their court dates.

A group of eight migrant squatters were apprehended by the NYPD. One of the squatters allegedly brandished a 9 mm CZ pistol at someone nearby, prompting police intervention. Despite the gravity of their actions, including charges of criminal possession of a weapon, a controlled substance, and endangering a child, they walked away free under supervised release. During a campaign speech in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump spotlighted the plight of Angel Families who have lost loved ones to illegal immigration, urging President Joe Biden to say the victims’ names.

“Every town is now a border town because Joe Biden has brought the chaos, carnage, and killing from all over the world and dumped it straight into our backyards,” Trump said alongside law enforcement officials. “People are coming in [to the United States] from prisons and mental institutions.”

“In Venezuela, the crime is down 67 percent from what it was a year and a half ago,” Trump said. “Because they’re taking all of their gangs and all of their criminals and they’re depositing them into the United States of America.” . . .

Among the victims are 25-year-old Ruby Garcia in Grand Rapids, 22-year-old Leah Gomez in Grand Rapids, as well as 22-year-old Laken Riley in Athens, Georgia. Garcia’s accused killer, a previously deported illegal alien from Mexico, is facing murder charges while Gomez’s killer, an illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted of murder in February. Officers Arrest Fugitive Influencer Who Encouraged Migrants to Squat in Homes: Report

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have reportedly arrested a TikTok influencer who encouraged illegal migrants to squat in Americans’ homes.

Leonel Moreno, who went viral after telling illegal migrants to take over properties in the U.S., was reportedly taken into federal custody on Friday after ICE’s Fugitive Ops team arrested him in Columbus, Ohio, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported, citing an unnamed ICE official.

Moreno illegally crossed the southern border at Eagle Pass, Texas, in April 2022 before being registered with the Alternatives for Detention program, the New York Post reported. The illegal migrant was then categorized as an “absconder” after failing to abide by the program’s rules, which included being tracked by federal authorities using ankle monitors and other methods, according to internal ICE documents cited by the Post.

New Estimate Says U.S. Now Has 13.7 Million Illegal Aliens, up 37% Under Biden

President Biden’s wave of illegal immigrants is upending the usual demographics of immigration and sending education levels plummeting, according to a report Thursday that raised big questions about the nation’s ability to absorb the newcomers.

The U.S. now has 13.7 million illegal immigrants and 51.4 million immigrants overall — an increase of 6.4 million in three years since Mr. Biden took office, the Center for Immigration Studies reported. That averages 172,000 new immigrants each month, or roughly four times the rate in the Trump years and nearly three times the rate in the Obama years.

Most of the new arrivals are from Latin America, and 3.7 million of the net new arrivals came illegally. Some 44% have no education beyond high school, and a significant number haven’t even completed high school.

“Education is the single best predictor of how you’re going to do in the United States. What kind of job you’re going to do. How much you’re going to make. What fraction are going to be in or near poverty. What fraction are going to qualify for welfare programs — particularly their children,” said Steven A. Camarota, the study’s lead author.

As recently as 2018, 55% of immigrants had a bachelor’s degree. That has dipped to just 41%. Meanwhile, the share who haven’t made it past high school has risen from 29% to 44%, Mr. Camarota figures. Illegal Alien Accused of Raping ‘Mentally Incapacitated’ Teen: Report

A man who is in the United States illegally has been accused of raping an Alabama teen last month.

On February 20, Pablo Mendoza, 23, allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old girl in Enterprise, Alabama, a city of about 30,000 residents just north of the Florida panhandle. Not only is the alleged victim quite young, but officials claim that she could not consent because she was “physically helpless or mentally incapacitated.”

On Monday, Enterprise Police arrested Mendoza and charged him with first-degree rape, a felony that carries a sentence of up to life in prison. Mendoza has been booked into Coffee County Jail and held without bond. He has a pretrial detention hearing scheduled for next week.

Some reports list Mendoza as an Enterprise “resident,” but Coffee County Sheriff Scott Byrd has confirmed that Mendoza is in the country illegally, WDHN-TV reported. Byrd added that once the case has been fully adjudicated, Mendoza will be deported. Mendoza’s country of origin is unknown, and it is not clear when he entered the U.S.

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) has laid at least some of the blame for the alleged rape at Biden’s feet. “@JoeBiden is aiding and abetting these monsters. #SayHerName,” Tuberville wrote in a tweet from his personal X account.

Influencer Who Advised Illegal Aliens to Steal Americans’ Homes Is on the Run From Immigration Authorities: Report

An influencer who took to TikTok to advise illegal migrants to steal Americans’ homes is reportedly on the run from immigration authorities.

Leonel Moreno, who went viral after telling illegal migrants to take average of squatters’ rights laws and “invade” empty properties in the U.S., illegally crossed the border in April 2022, according to the New York Post.

Moreno entered the country through Eagle Pass, Texas before being registered in the Alternatives for Detention program, the New York Post reported. Federal authorities reportedly track migrants using ankle monitors and additional methods during the program.

Moreno was categorized as an “absconder” after failing to abide by the program’s rules, internal documents from Immigrations Customs and Enforcement (ICE) obtained by the outlet revealed. The illegal migrant was originally released into the U.S. on parole as a result of overcrowded detention centers, the outlet reported.

Joe Biden Funds Border Security in Foreign Countries as U.S.-Mexico Border Crossings Hit 7.4 Million

President Joe Biden, with the help of Congress, is spending hundreds of millions in American taxpayer dollars on border security initiatives in foreign countries. At the same time, border crossings at the United States-Mexico border have surpassed 7.4 million since Biden took office.

Slipped into a $1.2 trillion budget signed by Biden last weekend is about $380 million for “enhanced border security” projects in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, and Tunisia — about $150 million of which must go to border security in Jordan.

Meanwhile, the budget puts strict limitations on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) ability to construct physical barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border to deter illegal immigration.

“The Biden administration wants nothing more than the ability to ‘manage’ an invasion here at home, all while helping nations abroad build walls,” RJ Hauman with the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) told Breitbart News. “Make it make sense.”

City to Give Illegal Alien Families Debit Cards for Food, Baby Supplies

New York City will give debit cards to migrant families for food and baby supplies.

The first cards will be distributed to families on Monday, sparking fear that the new program could lead to fraud or abuse as well as speculation that the city will be prioritizing migrants over current citizens. As many 180,000 migrants have arrived in the city over the last two years with 65,000 now in shelters.

“A family of four is expected to receive up to $350 per week under the program, which will last six weeks, city officials said. The program will begin with 10 families on Monday, expanding to about 115 families, or roughly 450 people, over the next week,” noted the New York Times.

Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has defended the program, saying it will simultaneously feed migrants at a low cost while fueling money back into the local economy. Cards will be distributed at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, the city’s arrival center, for families staying in hotels under a 28-day voucher program. Cards will be loaded with one week of funds. INVASION: Video Shows Illegal Aliens Overwhelming Texas National Guard, Storming Border Wall; Biden Slammed

By Daily Caller. Video taken near El Paso, Texas, shows illegal immigrants tearing down a barrier and overwhelming members of the Texas National Guard as they stormed across the border.

The illegal immigrants are seen pulling the barrier open as four National Guardsmen try to keep them from crossing the border in the video posted to Twitter on Thursday by former Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Jennie Taer, who now works for the New York Post. The illegal immigrants rush through the gap opened, almost trampling the National Guard personnel, until coming up against a second, sturdier barrier.

Texas has been clashing with the Biden administration over the state’s efforts to stop illegal immigration, with the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit placing legislation that would allow state and local law enforcement to arrest illegal immigrants on hold. Biden Slammed After Hundreds of Illegal Aliens Attack National Guard Troops at Border

By Daily Wire. President Joe Biden faced backlash Thursday afternoon after video went viral online showing hundreds of military-aged males pushing Texas National Guard soldiers and storming the U.S. southern border.

The New York Post, which recorded video of the incident, reported that the illegal aliens broke through razor wire and fencing and then pushed straight through the soldiers.

Governor Greg Abbott gave a brief update about the incident in El Paso a few hours after video of the incident garnered millions of views online.

“The TX National Guard & Dept. of Public Safety quickly regained control & are redoubling the razor wire barriers,” Abbott said. “DPS is instructed to arrest every illegal immigrant involved for criminal trespass & destruction of property.”

Report: Authorities Release Man Never Convicted of Crime After Waiting in Jail for Over 10 Years

Maurice Jimmerson was released Wednesday by Georgian authorities on a plea deal after spending over ten years of his life locked up without a conviction, Atlanta News First reported.

Georgian police arrested Jimmerson and four other suspects in relation to the murder of two persons back in May 2013, the outlet reported.

While nearly all of the suspects were acquitted by juries years previously, Jimmerson remained locked up without trial and without an attorney, the outlet reported. Andrew Fleischman reportedly took up Jimmerson’s case pro bono after hearing about the case through an investigation by Atlanta News First back in 2023.

“You don’t need to have a law degree to know something’s wrong is here,” Fleischman told the outlet. “We should not punish people until we’ve proven they’ve committed a crime.”

Two months after Fleischman took the case, Jimmerson went to court, resulting in a mistrial due to the jury being unable to deliver a verdict, Atlanta News First reported. He was reportedly returned to jail. Jimmerson’s release Wednesday was part of a negotiated plea deal where he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in exchange for being sentenced to 30 years of probation with 11 years already counted as served, according to the outlet.
