INSANITY: 27-Year-Old Man Plans to Sue His Parents for Having Him Without His Consent

A 27-year-old Indian man plans to sue his parents — with whom he admits to having a good relationship — because they brought him into the world without his consent. . .

Raphael Samuel of New Delhi said that children aren’t indebted to their parents and that children should ask their mothers and fathers “for an explanation as to why they gave birth to you.”

“I want to tell all Indian kids that they don’t owe their parents anything,” Samuel told India’s The Print. “I love my parents, and we have a great relationship, but they had me for their joy and their pleasure.” . . .

Samuel’s belief is part of a system called “anti-natalism,” which promotes the notion that children shouldn’t be forced to be born, especially at the expense of the planet. . .

The outlet reported that Samuel runs a Facebook page called “Nihilanand,” which boasts a whopping 800 followers. You can find various memes and videos advocating for allowing the human race to die. Is India Using U.S. Sterilization Funds for Population Control?

A group of women lay on the hospital floor, like beggars on the side of the streets, two unconscious and fighting for their life after a botched sterilization procedure. A doctor had chipped one of the women’s bladders as he rushed to snip his target. . .

Was the family fully informed about the risks and side effects of the procedure? Did they receive proper counselling, or were they lured and rushed into the program? Did they receive instructions about post-operative care? Were the doctors given targets to be achieved, and compensation for each procedure?

These are just some of the questions that scream for our attention. The answer tells whether these family planning programs violate the Tiahrt Amendment—the statutory requirement pertaining to U.S. tax dollars spent on global contraception programs like this sterilization camp. . .

India is one of the largest USAID recipients, receiving an average of $100 million each year. The money India receives for contraception is relatively higher than the total it receives for basic health. It’s highly critical for the USAID administration to ensure statutory compliance so that U.S. taxpayer money does not fuel human right abuses and targeted population control abroad.

Around 4 million sterilizations and 6 million IUD insertions were performed in India in 2017. Close to 200 million IUD insertions and 200 million sterilizations were performed in the country in just six years (2010-2016). USAID disbursements for the corresponding period add up to $100 million. This is money dedicated exclusively for contraception and does not include funds for other population policies and maternal health. Justin Trudeau Makes a Fool of Himself Again, Insults Entire Nation of India With Condescending, Ethnic Attire

Fresh off lecturing a young woman to say “peoplekind” instead of “mankind,” Canada’s pretty boy Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped in it again, this time insulting the entire nation of India during his boondoggle of an eight-day family workcation.

Twitter lit into Trudeau, 46, this week, for wearing over-the-top, traditional Indian attire that appeared at once desperate and condescending. Sherwanis; kurta shirts; an awkward outfit straight out of central casting for a Bollywood bridegroom.

“It’s a kind of reverse colonialism to want to mimic the ‘native’. Doing a kurta number as a salute to a culture is one thing, but Justin Trudeau’s display of trousseau like repertoire of multi-coloured kurtas has begun to grate,” wrote Indian political consultant Dilip Cherian.

“Offending garments include Trudeau’s long, multicolored sherwanis, usually worn on special occasions such as weddings or in Bollywood movies,” wrote The Washington Post’s New Delhi correspondent, Vidhi Doshi. “Trudeau wore a sparkling gold one to a meeting with Bollywood’s top brass while the film stars wore muted black suits. Add to that the Canadian first family’s posey, soap-opera style namastes, and it’s enough to keep social media here buzzing with memes and jokes.” (Read more from “Justin Trudeau Makes a Fool of Himself Again, Insults Entire Nation of India With Condescending, Ethnic Attire” HERE)

Cow Urine Is Now a ‘Health Drink’

The Uttar Pradesh government’s ayurvedic pharmacy at Pilibhit, which is one of the two in the state, has prepared a proposal to collect, process and sell packaged bottles of cow urine as a health drink. The pharmacy presently supplies ayurvedic medicines prepared here to government centres in 16 districts of UP.

Dr Prakash Chandra Saxena, principal and superintendent of Government Ayurveda College and Hospital in Pilibhit, said, “Not just for medicinal purposes, we will promote cow urine as a health-giving drink. We have prepared a plan and will discuss it with the ayurveda department in Lucknow for approval. Drinking 10 ml to 20 ml cow urine daily will act as a preventive against seasonal diseases like fever, cough and stomach-related ailments. Daily consumption of cow urine will also help increase people’s immunity. Our aim is to make cow urine easily available to the common public.”

Asked how the pharmacy plans to collect cow urine on such a large scale, Saxena said, “We are considering contacting dairies and gaushalas (cow shelters) run by the government and NGOs. We will soon discuss with experts and director of the ayurveda department to chalk out details of the project.”

Apart from supplying packaged bottles of cow urine, the pharmacy has decided to prepare herbal medicines using cow urine from this month. “The state government has placed the order and we will start making medicines using cow urine by this month. These drugs will be used in curing several ailments, including fever, jaundice, piles and stomach-and liver-related diseases. Several researches have shown that cow urine, which is an integral part of ayurveda, is beneficial for health,” said Dr Naresh Chandra Gangwar, in-charge of the pharmacy. Homosexual Sex Still Illegal in India, but Nation’s Supreme Court Now Reconsidering

In India, homosexual acts are punishable by up to 10 years in prison. But on Monday, the country’s highest court announced it will re-examine the ban . . .

Following a petition filed by five Indians who said they are living in constant fear of being prosecuted, the Supreme Court said a larger group of judges would reconsider the constitutional validity of the law . . .

But in 2013, India’s Supreme Court overturned the ruling and re-criminalized same-sex relationships.

This time, some justices are arguing that the law contradicts Article 21 of the Indian constitution, which says: “No person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty except according to procedure established by law.”

After a … ruling in September, many justices in the country recognized that Article 21 guaranteed a right to privacy, including sexual orientation. (Read more from “Homosexual Sex Still Illegal in India, but Nation’s Supreme Court Now Reconsidering” HERE)

India’s First Ever ‘Happiness Minister’ Is Wanted on Murder Charges

India’s first and only “happiness minister” is wanted on murder charges.

Lal Singh Arya was named a suspect in the 2009 murder of an opposition politician, Makhanlal Jatav, the Times of India reported .

The 53-year-old has previously denied the charges, according to the BBC . Arya is the top official in the Department of Happiness, a ministry run by the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . . .

An Indian court issued an arrest warrant for Arya last week, but police have yet to find him, the Times of India reported. They have searched three locations across central India: Bhopal, Gwalior, and his native town of Gohad.

The central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh created the department of happiness last year in a bid to “counsel people on how to be always happy,” the state’s chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, according to The Telegraph. Doctors Fired After ‘Dead’ Baby Wakes up on Way to Funeral

A hospital in India fired two physicians and promised an investigation after a baby who was declared dead woke up in a bag while the family was driving to his funeral.

The case has sparked outrage across the country, police are involved, and the New Delhi health minister has threatened to cancel the hospital’s license.

Max Healthcare in New Delhi issued a statement saying the “unfortunate incident” occurred Thursday following a premature delivery of twins after a five-month pregnancy. The second child was stillborn; the first was declared dead a short time later.

The babies were placed in plastic bags and the family was driving to the crematorium when they saw movement. They opened the bag to find the live child.

The baby was placed on life support, the hospital said.

“We are shaken and concerned at this rare incident,” the hospital said. “We are in constant touch with the parents and are providing all the needed support.” (Read more from “Doctors Fired After ‘Dead’ Baby Wakes up on Way to Funeral” HERE)

Muslims Say Anti-Shariah Ruling ‘Will Not Be Followed’

Muslims leaders in India say they will not abide by the Indian Supreme Court’s ban of the quickie divorces allowed under Islamic law.

“If a law is made which is against Shariah, then it will be unacceptable to us. And like such other laws, it too will meet the same fate that it will remain a law but will not be followed,” said Muhammad Saeed Noori, the general secretary of the Mumbai-based Raza Academy.

Syed Parvez Qaisar, a leader of the Muslim League, called it “interference” in Muslim law . . .

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court of India “delivered a landmark verdict invalidating the practice of instant triple talaq (divorce) among Indian Muslims,” MEMRI said. “The verdict is a milestone in the journey of the Muslim women’s rights movement in India. Prior to this decision, a Muslim husband could divorce his wife by uttering ‘talaq’ three times in the presence of two witnesses in one sitting – either informally or formally through a letter, email, WhatsApp, and so on.

“This instant form of divorce is called talaq-e-biddat, is irrevocable, and is valid in Shariah law. The other form of triple talaq is called talaq-e-hasan, whereby a husband delivers one talaq each over the course of three months,” the report said. Wife Gets the OK to Divorce Husband for Failing to Install Toilet

An Indian court has granted a woman permission to divorce her husband after he consistently refused to build a toilet in their home, forcing her to relieve herself in the open.

Family court judge Rajendra Kumar Sharma in India’s western Rajasthan state ruled on 18 August that a toilet was a necessity in every home and defecating in the open was ‘disgraceful’ for society and ‘torture’ for women.

“In villages women have to wait until sunset to answer nature’s call. This is not only physical cruelty, but also outraging the modesty of a woman” the judge ruled.

People spend money buying tobacco, alcohol and mobile phones, but are unwilling to construct toilets to protect the dignity of their family, he added.

The woman’s counsel said she was married in 2011 to a labourer and filed for divorce four years later citing cruelty by her husband, as he was unable to provide the couple a separate room or a toilet. (Read more from “Wife Gets the OK to Divorce Husband for Failing to Install Toilet” HERE)

10-Year-Old India Rape Victim Unknowingly Gives Birth to Baby Girl

A 10-year-old rape victim who was denied an abortion by the Indian Supreme Court and was kept in the dark about her pregnancy, has reportedly given birth to a baby girl. The unidentified girl, whose uncle was arrested after she accused him of raping her several times over the last seven months, is said to be in good condition, BBC News reported . . .

The case made international headlines after the girl was taken to the hospital for complaints of a stomach ache, only for doctors to discover she was several months pregnant. Indian law does not allow for abortions past 20 weeks of gestation unless there is a threat to the mother’s health. The country’s Supreme Court did not find an exception for her case.
