Not Today, Satan: Christian Veteran Who Tore Down Satanic Altar in Iowa Just Beat the Devil at His Own Game

Well, good triumphed over evil in an Iowa case where a Christian vet tore down a satanic altar at the state capitol. Iowa prosecutors dropped the absurd ‘hate crime’ felony charges against Michael Cassidy in exchange for a misdemeanor plea. That means he won’t face prison time. It’s outrageous that he was ever at risk of ‘prison time’ for vandalizing a demonic statue. But that’s the sad state of affairs in today’s unjust USA. . .

Well, in the end, God defeated Satan once again, and Michael will not be charged with a felony.

Michael took to X, where he enjoyed a well-deserved victory lap. . .

In truth, Michael saved the day when he tore down that disgusting statue. Theoretically, Michael shouldn’t have faced any charges at all, since that monstrosity should never have been there in the first place. This is just another way for heathens and heretics to mock tradition and Christianity. Judge Keeps Hate Crime Charges Against Navy Veteran Who Toppled Satanic Statue, but the Jury Will Have the Last Word

A Christian Navy veteran toppled a satanic statue at the Iowa Capitol just before Christmas. A Democratic prosecutor subsequently slapped him with hate crime charges. This week, a judge ensured that the charges would stick.

While the Satanic Temple and the Democratic prosecutor might like to see Michael Cassidy ultimately locked up, his fate will be determined by a jury — a jury likely to contain at least a handful of sympathetic, God-fearing Americans.

“We believe that the jury will have the opportunity to consider all of the facts in this case, including Mr. Cassidy’s military service and motivation,” Davis Younts, Cassidy’s lawyer, told Blaze News. “He was compelled by his faith to act to protect others.” . . .

The Satanic Temple is an anti-Christian leftist organization that has performed public “unbaptisms”; advocated for mothers to kill their unborn babies by way of its “religious abortion ritual”; agitated to prevent chaplaincy in Florida schools; disseminated satanic literature to kids; held a demonization ceremony in protest of the canonization of the Catholic Spanish priest Junípero Serra; and pushed the LGBT agenda.

In recent years, the ST has also erected multiple demonic statutes across the country on public property. Ahead of Christmas 2023, the Satanic Temple raised one such statue — a ram-headed Baphomet statue holding a red pentacle — along with a satanic altar on the first floor of the Iowa Capitol.

Christian Vet Who Beheaded Satanic Statue at Iowa Capital Charged With Hate Crime

Michael Cassidy has been charged with a hate crime for beheading a statue of Satan at the Iowa Capitol. Cassidy drove up to Iowa after the Satanic display was erected in the state capitol and took it down. He will be arraigned on February 15.

Polk County prosecutors charged Cassidy with felony third-degree criminal mischief, saying that he acted “in violation of individual rights” under Iowa’s hate crime statue, the Des Moines Register reports.

Cassidy had been charged with a misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief the day after the beheading but had been informed that he may be liable for further charges.

Spokesman for the Polk County Attorney’s Office Lynn Hicks said that “Evidence shows the defendant made statements to law enforcement and the public indicating he destroyed the property because of the victim’s religion.” This is what resulted in the hate crimes charge. Iowa’s RINO Senator Joni Ernst Attacks Trump for Calling J6 Prisoners “Hostages,” Refuses to Endorse Trump

By Politico. Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) knocked former President Donald Trump’s description of those imprisoned for their roles in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol as “hostages,” while Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

“Does it bother you that Donald Trump is using that language?” NBC’s Kristen Welker asked during an interview on “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

“It does in this context, because we do have American hostages that are being held against their will all around the globe,” said Ernst, who has remained officially neutral in the Republican presidential contest. Joni Ernst Avoids Committing to Endorsing Trump if He Wins Iowa Caucuses

By Washington Examiner. Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) avoided saying whether she would commit to supporting former President Donald Trump if he wins her state’s caucuses.

In an appearance on NBC News’s Meet the Press on Sunday, Ernst was asked whether she would commit to supporting whoever the Republican nominee was, especially if it was Trump.

“Well, it’ll depend,” she responded when asked if she would support Trump if he’s the nominee. “I have gone round and round in my mind. I do think that President Trump is going to win. We see such a large margin. But it’s not a foregone conclusion. So we’ll see who comes out the winner here, in the Iowa Caucuses. We’ll know that, tomorrow night. And then, we’ll know how to move forward. Who Is Iowa School Shooting Suspect Dylan Butler?

Gunman Dylan Butler endured years of relentless bullying that had recently engulfed his sister in the leadup to his violent rampage at his rural Iowa high school Thursday, community members said.

The 17-year-old was armed with a pump-action shotgun, a small-caliber handgun and a makeshift explosive device when he opened fire at Perry High School at 7:47 a.m., police said.

Butler killed a sixth-grader and injured five others, including his principal, before turning the gun on himself.

He had plans to kill many more, however — his body was found with the not-yet-detonated improvised explosive device, which cops described as “pretty rudimentary.” . . .

Emily Donlin is an Iowa mother who is under investigation by the Department of Health and Human Services because her infant’s umbilical cord tested positive for cocaine.

The only thing is Emily has never done cocaine in her entire life. In fact, she’s so holistic she doesn’t even take over-the-counter painkillers or vaccinate her children. . .

Although Emily had a home birth, she took her son Paul into the hospital shortly after his arrival to ensure he was healthy, and fortunately, everything checked out perfectly — initially.

However, two weeks later, Emily’s family received a knock on their door from DHHS saying Paul had tested positive for cocaine.

Naturally, Emily was shocked and confused. She explained that she had never taken drugs and that this must be a mistake.

A man in Iowa is going viral after capturing footage of what he said was a UFO flying through the night sky Tuesday.

The Des Moines man was driving down Hickman Road when he said he saw the UFO above him.

“It’s like an eyeball-looking UFO. I don’t know what to make of it,” Jacob Ferrell said.

One Teenager Killed, Two Others in Critical Condition After High School Shooting

One teenager was killed and two others are in critical condition following a shooting outside of an Iowa high school Monday, according to authorities.

Police responded to a report of “multiple shooting victims” on the school grounds of East High School in Des Moines around 2:48 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

Police said the gunfire appears to have come from a passing vehicle.

The three teenage victims were taken to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries. The two others are currently in critical condition, Des Moines cops said.

GOP Governor Signs Bill Banning Biological Males From Women’s Sports

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, a Republican, signed a bill Thursday prohibiting biological male athletes from playing in K-12 and college sports on women’s teams.

According to Axios Des Moines, the bill takes effect immediately. The Iowa Senate reportedly passed the bill along party lines on Wednesday.

“Forcing females to compete against males is the opposite of inclusivity and it’s completely unfair,” Reynolds stated prior to the signing.

Man Receives Life Sentence After Killing Friend Over Mayonnaise

An Iowa man received a life sentence Monday after he ran over and killed his friend with his truck following a bar fight that started when he put mayonnaise on his friend’s food.

Kristofer Erlbacher received the life sentence for a deadly incident that started Dec. 17, 2020, while he and the victim, Caleb Solberg, were at a bar with a third person. Erlbacher spread mayonnaise on Solberg’s food, prompting Solberg to punch him and the violence to escalate from there, according to the Des Moines Register. . .

After that fight stopped, Erlbacher left the café, got into his 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck and used it to crash into Pryor’s vehicle while Pryor occupied it, the Des Moines Register reported. He then slammed his truck again into the vehicle when Pryor left the vehicle to survey the damage, according to a criminal complaint.

Erlbacher later crashed his vehicle into Solberg, who did not die in the first collision, according to the Des Moines Register.
