Airstrikes Cripple Syria’s Two Main Airports Before Iranian Foreign Minister Was Expected to Arrive: Reports

Airstrikes crippled the runways at the two main airports in Syria on Thursday as Iran’s foreign minister was reportedly expected to arrive in the country.

Syrian-state media blamed the strikes on Israel, which declined to comment on the matter. The airports that were targeted were international airports in the Syrian capital of Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Syrian air defenses tried to respond to the incident, which came a day before Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was expected to arrive in the country. No one was believed to be hurt in the airstrikes on the airports.

The incident comes after Palestinian terrorists launched an unprecedented wave of attacks in Israel several days ago, killing more than 1,300 people and injuring more than 3,000. At least 27 Americans were killed, and more than a dozen were still unaccounted for. Biden Breaks His Silence on Iran as U.S. Sends Supplies, More Fighter Jets Toward Israel

President Biden issued a cryptic warning to Iran Wednesday to “be careful” despite his administration painstakingly denying any links between the country and the brutal attacks by Hamas that butchered more than 1,200 people in Israel.

Biden made the comments while speaking to a group of Jewish leaders at the White House just one day after he avoided any mention of Iran in his speech responding to the attacks.

“You know, I spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu I don’t know how many times, but again this morning, and already we’re surging additional military assistance to the Israeli Defense Force, including ammunition, interceptors to replenish the Iron Dome, and we’ve moved the U.S. carrier fleet to the Eastern Mediterranean, and we’re sending more fighter jets there to that region, and made it clear — made it clear to the Iranians: Be careful,” Biden said.

National Security Counsel spokesperson John Kirby reiterated the administration’s belief earlier in the day that there was no specific evidence Iran was involved in the egregious actions taken by Hamas over the weekend. However, he left open the possibility that assessment could change in the future as intelligence continues to be assessed.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Iranian security officials approved Hamas’ plan to attack Israel during a meeting in Beirut on Oct. 2. Hamas and Hezbollah leaders said Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps worked with Hamas since August on air, land and sea attack plans. Reporter Lights up State Dept. Spox After He Tries Blaming Trump for $6 Billion Biden Unfroze for Iran

Though the statement President Joe Biden gave Tuesday about Hamas’ terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians was far more pointed regarding the situation and supportive of Israel than the brief, bumbling remarks he gave Saturday, the overall response from the Biden administration to date has to many, to put it mildly, been sorely lacking and quite frankly unacceptable.

To further prove the point, we turn to a State Dept. briefing held earlier where spokesman Matt Miller and Associated Press reporter Matt Lee had a heated exchange on the issue of the $6 billion in Iranian assets Biden unfroze as part of a hostage-freeing deal with Iran that was first reported on in July, but which became official in September.

Since the attacks began, Republicans and other staunch supporters of Israel have been accusing Biden of essentially helping to fund the atrocities being committed by Hamas, pointing to the $6 billion hostage-swapping agreement and how it paved the way for Iran to further fund attacks on U.S. allies in the region. Relatedly, some House and Senate Republicans are now calling on Biden to refreeze those assets in light of the Israel-Hamas war.

Over the weekend, Biden National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson insulted everyone’s intelligence by declaring that, “Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people,” while adding, “These funds have absolutely nothing to do with the horrific attacks today and this is not the time to spread disinformation.”

What she conveniently left out though was that the funds are fungible, which means holding them in the bank solely for “humanitarian aid” frees up Iran to use existing funds they have on hand for terrorism.

Biden’s New Military Chief Warns Iran Over Israel-Hamas Conflict

President Joe Biden‘s newly-installed military leader issued a warning on Monday to Iran as Israel goes to war against Hamas after the militant group conducted a deadly raid from Gaza over the weekend.

Asked what his message is to Iran, Gen. CQ Brown, who was confirmed as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff a little more than two weeks ago, said, “Not to get involved,” according to a small group of reporters who spoke to him on a flight to Brussels and relayed parts of their conversation on X.

The Washington Post’s Dan Lamothe noted Brown referred to the deployment of a carrier strike group to the Eastern Mediterranean and additional fighter jets to the region.

“We wanted to send a pretty strong message that we don’t want this to broaden, and the idea is for Iran to get that message loud and clear,” Brown explained.

The Biden administration concedes Iran has long provided assistance to Hamas, but so far has publicly pushed back on claims that Iran helped plot the attack on Israel. (Read more from “Biden’s New Military Chief Warns Iran Over Israel-Hamas Conflict” HERE)

Guess What Iran Did Right After Biden Gave Them $6 Billion

Last week President Joe Biden announced the unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian regime assets and the release of five Iranian prisoners in exchange for 5 five American hostages. White House officials claim the new infusion of cash is designated for humanitarian purposes and rejecting the classification the deal was a ransom payment.

The move has been widely criticized as an incentive for the Iranian regime, and other adversarial governments, to kidnap Americans. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill and former Trump admimitration officials warned the cash will only fuel bad behavior and terrorist attacks.

During remarks at the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi proved Biden’s critics correct and threatened to assassinate American officials. (Read more from “Guess What Iran Did Right After Biden Gave Them $6 Billion” HERE)

Iran Declares Victory Over U.S. In Speech at United Nations

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi declared “victory” over the United States and “the old liberal order” during his appearance at the U.N. General Assembly.

“The endeavors to universalize American ideals throughout the world have proven to be failures,” Raisi told world leaders assembled in New York. “There is a collective hope for the establishment of a novel and equitable world order. Central to the forthcoming international order is the abandonment of global arrogance in favor of regional cooperation and orders.”

Raisi struck that triumphalist note just days after the first anniversary of the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who was in the custody of Iran’s so-called morality police when she died, sparking nationwide protests. The Iranian president derided that public outcry, which he attributed to foreign influence.

“Last year was the year of the victory of the people of Iran,” Raisi said, per a live U.N. interpreter. “Certain Western nations and their intelligence services during the past year made a grave mistake by the miscalculation that didn’t [fail] to diminish and undervalue and underestimate the power of the Iranian people.” (Read more from “Iran Declares Victory Over U.S. In Speech at United Nations” HERE)

President Joe Biden Bows to Iran on 9/11: Pays $6 Billion for Five Americans in Exchange for Five Iranian Prisoners

The Biden administration has reportedly approved a deal with Iran to pay the rogue regime $6 billion in exchange for five detained American citizens.

The deal, according to the Associated Press (AP), entailed the Biden administration issuing a blanket waiver for international banks to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to Qatar without U.S. sanctions. The money would then be held in Qatar’s central bank for Iran to use, reportedly for the purchase of humanitarian goods.

In addition, the Biden administration agreed to release five Iranian citizens held in the U.S.

According to the AP, Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed off on the deal late last week, but Congress was not notified of the deal until Monday, which was also 9/11, the 22nd anniversary of the U.S. suffering terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists. Biden’s Suspended Iran Envoy May Have Committed ‘Treason’ (VIDEO)

House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) said Friday that Rob Malley, the Iran envoy for President Joe Biden, may have committed “treason,” leading to his suspension from his post.

As Breitbart News has reported, Malley — long accused of being overly friendly to the Iranian regime and Islamic terrorists in general — was suspended last month amid allegations of mishandling classified materials.

McCaul criticized the State Department for failing to inform Congress when Malley was suspended and lost his security clearance. On Friday, he expanded that criticim in an interview with Morgan Ortagus of News Nation:

Biden Issues Warning to Iran After Drone Strike Injures Military Personnel, Kills US Contractor

President Biden warned Iran that the U.S. will “act forcefully” to protect Americans after a drone strike in Syria killed a U.S. contractor and injured five U.S. service members Thursday.

“My heart and deepest condolences go out to the family of the American we lost, and we wish a speedy recovery for those who are wounded,” the President said at a joint press conference in Canada alongside Prime Minister Trudeau.

Biden prefaced his remarks by explaining that he had ordered airstrikes targeting “those responsible” for attacking American personnel.

“And to make no mistake: The United States does not — does not, I emphasize — seek conflict with Iran, but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people,” Biden said in his remarks. Biden said the United States would continue efforts to counter terrorist threats in the region along with coalition members like Canada to defeat ISIS.

Simultaneous attacks were launched at U.S. forces in Syria late Friday, according to Voice of America News. Preliminary information suggested there was a rocket attack on the Conoco plant, where U.S. troops are stationed. Iran Proxies Fire Missiles at US Base in Syria After Airstrikes Kill Eight Militants

Iran-backed proxy groups fired missiles at a U.S. military base near Al-Omar oil field in Syria on Friday after the U.S. killed eight militants in retaliatory airstrikes.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby called the Friday missile attack ineffective. No U.S. injuries were reported, according to Reuters.

The attack came after the United States delivered airstrikes against what the U.S. military said were facilities belonging to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). The American airstrikes hit a munition warehouse, a control building, and an intelligence-collection site, killing eight militants, according to The New York Times.

U.S. forces suffered one casualty after a drone of “Iranian origin” struck a U.S. coalition base on Thursday afternoon. Five U.S. service members and another contractor were also injured in the attack.

The family of the dead contractor was notified Thursday night, Kirby said during a Friday morning appearance on CNN. The contractor was an American citizen. (Read more from “Iran Proxies Fire Missiles at US Base in Syria After Airstrikes Kill Eight Militants” HERE)
