Senate Committee Launches Investigation Into American Muslim Group For Alleged Terrorist Ties

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee launched an investigation into American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), an allegedly Hamas-tied organization that allegedly funds many of the pro-Palestine protests on college campuses.

According to letters from Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., the committee chairman, to multiple universities as well as Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and AMP leadership, AMP has “extensive” terrorist ties and funds chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) — one of the primary organizations behind the campus protests.

Cassidy asked the schools, which include Columbia University, Barnard College, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and George Washington University (GW), for information regarding AMP’s involvement in protests, many of which saw illegal encampments, violence, disruption, and even the occupation of buildings. The letters to Bondi and Patel seek information on any investigations the Department of Justice or FBI might have underway.

SJP has chapters at multiple colleges and is the on-campus organizer of many of the protests, but is backed by AMP, which the letters say “has personnel with reported ties to the Foreign Terrorist Organization Hamas.”

“AMP’s alleged ties to Hamas, which the U.S. Department of State has designated as a ‘Foreign Terrorist Organization,’ are extensive,” the DOJ and FBI letter states. “AMP has also been actively involved in organizing college students. It has worked for more than a decade to support SJP campus groups which, according to reports, have been actively involved in campus demonstrations.” (Read more from “Senate Committee Launches Investigation Into American Muslim Group For Alleged Terrorist Ties” HERE)

The Military That Cried ‘White Supremacy’

In retrospect, maybe the military should have spent a little less time worrying about “white supremacists” and paid more attention to black Muslims. As you’ve no doubt heard by now, an Army veteran, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who happened to be a black Muslim, slaughtered 14 New Year’s revelers in New Orleans last week.

For the past four years, the Pentagon, the Department of Homeland Security and President Biden have warned about the looming threat of white supremacy amid constant references to Jan. 6 — but not to BLM, in which police officers actually died. Apart from getting more girls and transgenders into the military, it seems like rooting out “white supremacists” has become the military’s full-time job. (Proposed new U.S. Marines’ slogan: “We’re looking for a few good men … who think they’re women.”)

Biden, repeatedly: “According to the intelligence community, terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today. Not ISIS, not al-Qaida — white supremacists.”

To deal with the crisis, the greatest fighting force in the world scoured the social media accounts of its white troops, in search of “ties to white supremacists or violent extremists.” Considering the vast amounts of truthful information censored from social media under Biden — e.g., about COVID, masking, social distancing, Biden’s senile dementia, Hunter Biden’s laptop — I’d love to see what the military considered evidence of “ties to white supremacists.”

Even before Biden was sworn in, the Pentagon made a big point of announcing that troops guarding the inauguration — especially those who would be close to Biden and Kamala Harris! — would be carefully vetted. (I just hope that crack unit of muffin-topped gals who almost got Donald Trump killed in Butler, Pennsylvania, were available.) (Read more from “The Military That Cried ‘White Supremacy’” HERE)

Imam Warns Muslims Against Wishing ‘Happy Holidays’ to Christians

Christianity today is “paganism” and Christians are “pagans” and “not believers,” according to Florida Imam Abu Usama At-Thahabi, who urged Muslims to reject Western cultural influences and warned them against wishing others a “merry Christmas” or even “happy holidays.”

In his Friday, December 20, sermon at the Masjid As-Sunnah mosque and Islamic center serving the Orlando, Florida, area, the American-born Abu Usama delivered a scathing critique of Christianity, declaring it polluted with pagan practices, while urging Muslims to remain steadfast in their identity.

“The Christians today, the ones you know, those of us who are reverts [to Islam], our relatives — Christians — are pagans,” he argued.

“It’s not a nice word to be called a pagan. They think they’re believers, but they’re not believers — [they’re] pagans,” he added.

Proclaiming that “Christianity today is a pagan religion,” the Imam called out Christian traditions, which he argued bear “absolutely no connection” to Jesus. (Read more from “Imam Warns Muslims Against Wishing ‘Happy Holidays’ to Christians” HERE)

Harris Botched Interview With Muslim Influencer by Celebrating ‘Bacon’ as ‘A Spice’

. . .Vice President Kamala Harris is getting roasted for refusing to talk about the Mideast war with a Muslim influencer — and instead spending her time trying to convince him that bacon is “a spice.’’

The Democratic presidential candidate, 60, chewed the fat last summer with Kareem Rahma, host of the popular TikTok and Instagram show “Subway Takes,” although the interview never aired, the New York Times reported Monday. . .

But Rahma — a firm opponent of the Harris-Biden administration’s support for Israel in its ongoing war in Gaza — told the outlet that he believed the topic of the conflict was important enough to break his usual protocol and discuss it with the veep.

“There’s something going on in the world that 100 percent of Muslims care about,” he said.

Rahma said he raised the possibility of discussing the war with Harris in each of three phone calls with her staff and the Democratic National Committee before their chat but was rejected each time. Turkish-Funded Militias Seizing Hundreds of Acres From Christian Syrians

The commander of an Islamist militia has reportedly seized 500 acres of farming land from Christian farmers in the town of Ras Al-Ein in northern Syria near the Turkish border.

The area is under the control of a coalition of Islamist militias that are part of the Syrian National Army, an entity backed by Qatar and Turkey.

The main groups involved in human rights abuses in Ras Al-Ein include the Al-Hamzat Battalion and Jaysh Al-Sharqya, reported the United Kingdom-based watchdog Christian Solidarity Worldwide, citing local sources.

The leader of Jaysh Al-Sharqya, Commander Abou Jammo, was identified as the one who ordered the confiscation, CSW said, adding that the United States has sanctioned these groups for their actions.

Amid rising tensions, the militias have also threatened to increase the tax imposed on farmers from 20% to 35%. (Read more from “Turkish-Funded Militias Seizing Hundreds of Acres From Christian Syrians” HERE)

Al-Qaeda-Linked Muslim Group Got $2 Million From Tim Walz’s State Government

Under Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), the state of Minnesota awarded over $2 million to an Islamic group that fundraises for a charity linked to an al Qaeda affiliate, according to funding records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.

The Islamic Association of North America, the recipient of the state grants from 2019 to 2024, is fundraising after Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel last year for Rahma Worldwide, a Michigan-based charity that says it is shipping humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to flyers. In a since-deleted Facebook post in October 2023, Rahma Worldwide President Shadi Zaza revealed his charity was collaborating on an aid initiative with the Islamic Heritage Revival Society of Kuwait, a terrorist group sanctioned by the U.S. government for funding al Qaeda.

News of the Walz administration’s grants to the IANA comes as the Democratic vice presidential candidate faces backlash after a series of Washington Examiner reports revealed his ties to Muslim cleric Asad Zaman. As Minnesota’s governor, Walz has repeatedly hosted Zaman, who shared a pro-Adolf Hitler movie on social media and defended the Oct. 7 attack. Moreover, according to unearthed footage, Walz referred to Zaman as a “master teacher” at a 2018 event held by the Zaman-led Muslim American Society of Minnesota, which partners with the IANA.

The presidential campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris has continued to claim Walz has no personal relationship with Zaman. Harris and Walz officials did not respond to requests for comment from the Washington Examiner on Thursday.

“Embracing and funding an imam that sympathizes with neo-Nazis was apparently only the start,” said Sam Westrop, a terrorism analyst at the Middle East Forum think tank. (Read more from “Al-Qaeda-Linked Muslim Group Got $2 Million From Tim Walz’s State Government” HERE)

Christians Left Petrified After Attack on Church During Riots as Media Ignores Mob Chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’

Members of the congregation of St Joseph’s church awoke earlier this week to rumours on WhatsApp of the damage spreading, along with other videos seen by GB News that appear to show attacks on Christians in London.

Panicked worshippers raced to the scene to find the pavement littered with smashed pieces of the statue, whose casing was later boarded up.

A furious member of the congregation, who spoke to GB News on condition of anonymity, said: “We had my Dad go and actually see what happened and he saw the pieces of Mother Mary on the floor. Right after I saw that, I initially thought to get this online.”

Inferring media bias, the congregant said: “I knew there wasn’t going to be news coverage on this.”

Asserting the destruction of the statue was “an attack”, the distressed worshipper said the congregation had been trying to ascertain both the identity and the motive of the culprit: “Either it’s a lone, crazy man who did this or someone who had a motive of hatred towards Christians. Knifeman Stabs Multiple People in Frenzied Attack at Anti-Islam Rally

A knife-wielding madman stabbed multiple people, including a cop, at an anti-Islamist political rally in Germany on Friday in a frenzied attack that was caught on a YouTube livestream.

The bloody mayhem erupted in the middle of a square in the city of Mannheim just after 11:30 a.m. local time as members of the right-wing campaign group, Citizens’ Movement Pax Europa (BPE), were filming a demonstration, news outlet Bild reported.

The stomach-churning livestream showed the moment chaos broke out as the bearded knifeman abruptly tackled one of the victims — believed to be the group’s leader, Michael Stürzenberger — to the ground and violently started plunging a large blade into him.

Screaming onlookers rushed in to try and drag the attacker away but he broke free and continued swinging the knife at the original victim.

As the attack escalated, the knifeman started wildly stabbing those nearby and, at one point, sunk the blade into a police officer’s back. (Read more from “Knifeman Stabs Multiple People in Frenzied Attack at Anti-Islam Rally” HERE)

Hundreds of UCLA Students Convert to Islam, Pray to Allah

Hundreds of University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) students converted to Islam and participated in a massive group prayer to Allah on Wednesday night.

Just before police officers moved in and dismantled defiant pro-terrorism protest encampments at UCLA, students said Muslim prayers as the sun set over the campus.

The pro-terrorism students chanted “Allahu akbar” during the prayer and chanted “Allah is the greatest” of all gods.

Christian Homes in Egypt Attacked and Burned by Islamist Extremists

Islamist extremists reportedly set fire to several Christian houses and businesses in southern Egypt last week.

The violence broke out on Tuesday night in the village of Al-Fawakher, which is home to about 3,000 Christian families. The local Christian community had recently received a permit to construct a new church building, prompting backlash from some Muslim hardliners.

“The attacks are believed to have been triggered by an attempt to build a new church in Al-Fawakher village in Minya [province],” one local source, who asked to remain anonymous, told The New Arab. “When religious fanatics failed to expel Christians from their homes as a form of punishment, the extremists [reportedly] burned down their houses while they were still inside.”

Video circulating on social media appears to show crowds of people dancing and celebrating in front of the burning buildings. (Read more from “Christian Homes in Egypt Attacked and Burned by Islamist Extremists” HERE)
