Paperwork Mix-Up by Democrat Leads to Third Party Candidate Being Left off Ballot in Swing State

The Supreme Court upheld the Nevada Supreme Court’s ruling Friday blocking Green Party candidate Jill Stein from appearing on the state’s ballot for the 2024 presidential election.

The Democratic Party originally sued to remove the Green Party from the presidential ballot for paperwork violations. They alleged that the Green Party included inappropriate language on its signature ballot petition making the signatures on that document void. . .

“The anti-democratic party has just gone on the attack,” Stein said. “The Green Party in Nevada and volunteers in Nevada collected 30,000 signatures, incredible, 30,000 signatures in Nevada, three times the number of signatures that’s required in the state.”

A state court ruled against the Democratic Party originally. The case then went to the Nevada Supreme Court, which found that the Nevada secretary of state’s office sent the Green Party the wrong paperwork, calling it “an unfortunate mistake.” The court also ruled that removing Stein’s name due to the error would not violate the Constitution. Did Liberals Get Conned? How Is Jill Stein Spending the Money She Raised for Bogus 2016 Recounts?

Remember Jill Stein’s shoddy 2016 recounts? Remember how she raised more for this nonsense effort than for her entire 2016 campaign? She raised over $7 million for this effort, and she seems to be spending it on her staff. Not in a lavish sense, but they told Daily Beast it’s because they’re continuing the recount initiative. A bit odd since Stein promised that there would be a vote on how the rest of the fund raised would be distributed. So far, that has not happened.

As liberals licked their wounds, with some still recovering from the shock of Trump’s win, Stein decided to pour gasoline on this dumpster fire of an election year for the Left by announcing that she would file for recounts in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. There were absurd allegations of hacking, but no evidence—none. Also, some of the areas in these states had paper ballots. Pollsters mocked the idea. Nate Cohn at The New York Times noted a couple of things that showed why this conspiracy theory was bonkers. One, Trump did well in Iowa and Minnesota, winning the former and coming within less than two points of winning Minnesota. So, clinching Wisconsin is not unusual.

“Metro Wisconsin, where Clinton did well, uses paper; rural Wisconsin, where she collapsed like everywhere, is electronic,” tweeted Cohn. So, the hack theory doesn’t survive the ‘am I crazy’ test. It was total garbage, but sadly, enough liberals were desperate enough to believe anything to try and cancel Trump’s upset win. Sorry, folks—Hillary just lost. She’s a two-time loser who will never be president. Still, Stein forged ahead (via Daily Beast):

Ongoing litigation, travel costs, and staff salaries are also likely to eat up whatever is left, meaning those who donated to Stein are unlikely to receive a once-promised chance to vote on how the post-recount money would be spent. Nor have donors been given much of a window into how Stein is actually spending their donations. . .

In reality, it wasn’t even Stein’s idea to contest the results. Well-respected computer scientists, in need of legal standing and a proxy, urged her to do it after the Clinton campaign declined. That she raked in more than $7.3 million raised eyebrows, but that money was freely given by people who wanted her to pursue the costly process of double checking the ballots. In exchange, the Stein campaign promised to let the approximately 161,000 donors exercise their right to vote on how to disperse any money left over.

Jill Stein’s Campaign Issues Shock Statement on Trump Russia Probe

By Conservative Tribune. Remember Jill Stein? The Green Party candidate who garnered only 1 percent of the vote in the presidential election may have left the public spotlight, but it looks like Congress hasn’t forgotten about her.

The congressional probe into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election took a strange turn on Thursday, when the far-left campaign team sent a surprisingly stubborn message to the Senate committee conducting the investigation.

“The Jill Stein campaign is refusing to comply fully with a Senate intelligence committee request for documents and other correspondence, made as part of the committee’s probe into Russian activities in the 2016 election,” reported The Intercept.

That committee is looking beyond the much-touted but unproven claims that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, and is investigating the broader, much more plausible possibility that the former Soviet nation tried to undermine the overall election process.

“The Green Party campaign will agree to turn over some documents, but raised constitutional objections to the breadth of the inquiry, which was first made in November 2017, arguing that elements of it infringe on basic political rights enshrined in the First Amendment,” continued The Intercept. Jill Stein’s Campaign Objects to Senate Request for Some Russia Documents

By CNN. The presidential campaign of 2016 Green Party candidate Jill Stein told CNN on Monday she has objected to turning over some documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee related to the campaign’s contacts and discussions related to Russia.

Stein’s campaign provided some documents last month as part the Senate committee’s Russia probe, but the campaign objected to several requests as overly broad and infringing on “constitutionally protected materials,” according to a letter from Stein’s attorney, Mara Verheyden-Hilliard of the Washington-based Partnership for Civil Justice.

The Green Party candidate provided documents related to communications with officials tied to Russian media organizations and the Kremlin, as well as documents related to Stein’s 2015 trip to Moscow, which included a dinner hosted by RT that was also attended by both former Trump administration aide Michael Flynn and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

But the campaign objected to the committee’s request for communications with “Russian persons, or representatives of Russian government, media, or business interests,” arguing it was broadly targeting the communications of people “because they happen to be Russian immigrants or of Russian descent.” (Read more from “Jill Stein’s Campaign Objects to Senate Request for Some Russia Documents” HERE)

Senate Russia Investigation Expands to Include Jill Stein

Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is being investigated for possible collusion with Russia, The Washington Post reported.

Stein attended a 2015 dinner in Moscow, which former national security adviser Michael Flynn — who pleaded guilty earlier this month making false statements to the FBI regarding his interactions with Russian officials — also attended.

A picture from the event shows Russian President Vladimir Putin sitting next to Flynn and across the table from Stein.

The dinner was sponsored by Russian television network RT and Stein said in a statement that she “made the trip with the goal of reaching an international audience and Russian officials with a message of Middle East peace, diplomacy and cooperation against the urgent threat of climate change, consistent with long-standing Green principles and policies.”

“Our communications with Russian individuals regarding an invitation to speak on international relations at the RT 10th anniversary media conference will confirm what we stated publicly at the time and since: that we did not accept any payment or even reimbursement for the trip,” Stein explained, according to CBS News.

The investigation into the former Green Party candidate indicates that the Senate intelligence probe will more than likely continue well into 2018, despite Democrat claims that Republicans are pushing to finish the investigation by the end of the year.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has “two other campaigns that we’re starting on,” Republican Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina told reporters. One of those campaigns is Stein’s.

In September, Politico reported that Stein was the beneficiary of at least one of the political ads Russia bought to influence the 2016 election.

“Choose peace and vote for Jill Stein. Trust me. It’s not a wasted vote. … The only way to take our country back is to stop voting for the corporations and banks that own us. #GrowaSpineVoteJillStein,” the ad read.

In her book “What Happened,” Hillary Clinton said the votes for Stein “may well have thrown the election to Trump.” Clinton specifically pointed out that Flynn, Stein and Putin had attended the same dinner in 2015.

Former Clinton campaign spokesman Jesse Ferguson echoed Clinton’s sentiments.

“Russian operatives were not promoting Jill Stein because they thought she could win,” Ferguson said. “They were promoting her because they thought it would hurt Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump.”

Stein said she would cooperate with the committee, but warned against the investigation being used to “intimidate and silence principled opposition to the political establishment,” according to The New York Times.

“We strongly support legitimate inquiry into any illegal activity in our elections — including quid pro quo deals, money laundering, corruption and violence of campaign finance laws,” Stein said.

“At the same time, we caution against the politicization, sensationalism and collapse of journalistic standards that has plagued media coverage of the investigation.” (For more from the author of “Senate Russia Investigation Expands to Include Jill Stein” please click HERE)

Democrats Shouldn’t Blame Russia. They Should Blame Jill Stein

Blame Russia for Hillary’s losing White House bid? Try Jill Stein.

It wasn’t Vladimir Putin who picked up tens of thousands of votes in key battleground states that Clinton needed to win. Stein earned more votes than Clinton lost to Trump by in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Meaning, had most of those voters voted for Clinton, rather than Stein, Clinton could have won the election.

That’s not all, though. These three states — Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — also happen to be the three states where Stein sought recounts that Clinton supported. Recounts that validated Clinton’s loss.

The result of the Wisconsin recount announced last night showcases Clinton’s weaknesses far better than Putin ever could. The Wisconsin recount confirmed Trump’s win and awarded him an additional 131 votes.

That’s right. Clinton, by supporting Stein’s recount, actually helped Trump get more votes.

Meanwhile, Stein walks away with millions in unspent recount funds. Millions more than Stein ever raised for her presidential campaign.

What did Clinton get out of the recount? Nothing but another humiliation.

It’s mystifying Clinton would ever participate in such an exercise when you break it down.

First, Clinton gave money to Stein who, arguably, cost Clinton the election. Not only that. Clinton gave money to Stein to contest results in a state where Stein won only one percent of the vote. A state where Clinton’s own counsel said there was no evidence of tampering. A state that Clinton didn’t even bother to campaign in during the general election.

Who in Clinton world thought this was a good idea? What could have possibly been gained?

Maybe this is why the Democrats are so eager to blame Russia. It’s easier for them believe in fantasies of Putin’s evil election-rigging than believe Clinton’s presidential campaign could be so incompetent.

Putin didn’t dupe America. Stein sure is duping the Democrats, though. (For more from the author of “Democrats Shouldn’t Blame Russia. They Should Blame Jill Stein” please click HERE)
