Hunter Biden Lawyers Demand Action against MTG in Letter to House Ethics Committee

Lawyers representing President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, sent a letter to the House Ethics Committee on Monday, requesting action be taken against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for her comments and posts about the president’s son.

The letter alleges that Hunter Biden has been the victim of “continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories” from Greene, per Politico.

“As outlined below, her public statements and related efforts on Twitter, Truth Social, Facebook, and during public appearances attacking Mr. Biden sound and read like school-yard insults rather than the work of a Member of Congress, and they fail to uphold the integrity and dignity expected of members of the House of Representatives,” the letter said.

The letter references tweets from Greene in which she alleged that Hunter Biden is participating in human trafficking and the solicitation of prostitutes.

“Not only are these statements false, defamatory, and malicious, but they are undignified from a Member of Congress and far beyond anything close to genuine legislative activities or political advocacy,” the letter said. Biden Appears to Confuse Congresswoman for Man in ‘Teacher of the Year’ Speech

President Biden committed another gaffe on Monday, this time appearing to confuse a congresswoman’s name with a man’s name.

At the beginning of his National and State Teacher of the Year Celebration remarks on Monday, Biden appeared to confuse Democrat Connecticut Rep. Jahana Hayes’ name, referring to her as “Jonah.”

Biden appeared aware of Hayes’ gender, referring to the congresswoman as such while getting her to stand up.

“Thank you for the members of Congress here today, including two outstanding educating congresswomen: Jonah,” Biden said. “And by the way, Jonah Hayes is — Jonah, where are you? There you are, Jonah, right in front of me!”

“Stand up, Jonah!” the president continued, gesturing for Hayes to stand up. “Jonah happened to be the 2016 national teacher of the year.”

Hidin’ Biden: POTUS Holds Fewest Press Conferences of Any President in 40 Years

Despite a pledge to “bring transparency and truth back to the government,” President Joe Biden has held the fewest press conferences since Ronald Reagan and just half as many as his predecessor.

Biden averaged just 10 news conferences per year during his first two years in office, including 11 solo sessions and nine with foreign leaders, According to The New York Times, which cited the American Presidency Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In contrast, former President Donald Trump averaged 19.5 during his first two years in office, while Barack Obama averaged 23 and Bill Clinton averaged 41.5.

Biden has also taken to avoiding foreign press. Last week in Ireland, Biden skipped the longtime habit of presidents holding press conferences with foreign leaders while abroad. Then this last Thursday, when Biden met with Columbia President Gustavo Petro, there was no press conference. Report: Biden’s False Hunter Laptop Letter Interfered in Election beyond ‘Anything China or Russia’ Could Do; Over Two Thirds of Republicans Say Trump Investigations Are Politically Motivated: Poll

By New York Post. President Biden’s dirty campaign trick that falsely claimed The Post’s blockbuster Hunter Biden laptop story involved Russian disinformation amounts to far worse election interference than any foreign effort, a top GOP pol said Sunday.

“Actually, they knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real. The FBI knew that. They had possession of it in December 2019,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin), former head of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, to the “Cats Roundtable” show.

But the Biden campaign still persuaded 51 former intelligence officials to sign onto a letter just weeks before the November 2020 presidential election to discredit — with no evidence — the Post story as Russian propaganda, Johnson said.

Then-acting CIA Director Mike Morell has since admitted in sworn testimony to the House Judiciary Committee that he organized the infamous letter after discussions with members of the Biden campaign, including current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, then a top adviser.

“They wrote a letter to interfere in our election to a far greater extent than anything China or Russia ever could hope to do — claiming that the laptop had all the earmarks of … a Russian information campaign,” Johnson fumed to John Catsimatidis on the WABC 77 AM radio show. Over Two Thirds of Republicans Say Trump Investigations Are Politically Motivated: Poll

By Daily Caller. A new NBC News poll released Sunday shows over two thirds of Republicans believe the investigations into former President Donald Trump are politically motivated and designed to stop him from becoming president again.

NBC polled Republican primary voters about their thoughts on Donald Trump’s legal battles and who they are supporting for the party’s 2024 presidential nomination.

“Which statement comes closer to your view on the investigations into Donald Trump and the Republican nomination for president?,” NBC asked. They provided one statement about nominating a candidate who will not be distracted and focused solely on defeating President Biden and another statement about whether the Trump investigations are politically motivated.

68% of the Republican primary voters surveyed said Trump’s legal battles are politically motivated and they must support him, compared to 26% who voiced concern about nominating a candidate who could be distracted from running against Biden. At Least a Dozen Biden Relatives Will Be Exposed in Foreign-Money Deals: Comer

Even more relatives of President Biden — or at least a dozen in all — will be exposed for having received money from foreign entities, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee said Sunday.

“There’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the [Department of Justice] did their job and went in there and indicted everyone that has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence-peddling scheme,” said Rep. James Comer (R-Kentucky) to Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” show.

“I mean, it’s the entire family,” Comer said. “And there isn’t a single one of those family members that had the ability to do anything to influence foreign policy other than the big guy, Joe Biden.”

Comer said the number of implicated Biden family members will jump from 9 to at least 12, with the president’s son Hunter and brother Frank’s foreign dealings just the tip of the iceberg.

He said his oversight committee is still reviewing bank records and “suspicious activity reports” that indicate members of the first family are benefiting from dealing with foreign entities through limited liability companies that seek to shield identities. White House Claims GOP Debt Plan Will Give Kids Asthma and ‘Literally Melt Bones’ (VIDEO)

As President Biden refuses to negotiate with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to raise the debt ceiling, the White House seems to have decided to relegate Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to bargaining duty, and she did not ease off the hyperbole (read: false claims) she’s known for.

According to Jean-Pierre in Friday’s White House press briefing, Biden’s new executive order to make “climate justice” — another meaningless buzzword that attempts to put a shiny green veneer on Marxist policies — the “DNA” of his administration and a priority for every agency is a stark contrast with the GOP debt ceiling plan that includes a repeal of Democrats’ falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act.”

With a White House slide behind her to show just how very, very real her “facts” are, Jean-Pierre claimed that, “while President Biden is fighting to clean up toxic pollution and lower costs through [the] Clean Energy Tax Credit, Speaker McCarthy unveiled a ransom notes holding our economy hostage.”

She continued by slamming the GOP plan to raise the debt ceiling and avoid default while rolling spending back to 2022 levels as “a 320-page plan to kill jobs, fill our cities with smog, and give asthma to our children.” She must have forgotten to mention that it’s also 320 pages more than Biden’s non-existent counter offer.

Jean-Pierre continued, saying “the proposal would repeal the Inflation Reduction Act’s Green Energy Tax Credit, sending thousands of jobs back to China [and] it would make it easier for oil companies to use toxic chemicals that cause severe burns, damage people’s eyes, and quite literally melt bones.” How measured. Report: Federal Prosecutors Weighing Four Charges Against Hunter Biden

Federal prosecutors are weighing three tax charges and one gun charge against Hunter Biden, two sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Biden could be charged with two misdemeanor counts for failing to file taxes, a felony count of tax evasion related to business expense and a felony gun charge, NBC reported Thursday. The Washington Post previously reported investigators were closing in on tax and gun charges for Biden, citing sources familiar with the case who spoke on condition of anonymity.

U.S. Attorney in Delaware David Weiss, a Trump administration holdover, would be tasked with filing charges against Biden. A former close associate to Weiss described him to CBS News as “a straight shooter” with no allegiances to Trump or Biden. HOUSE INVESTIGATION: New Evidence Emerges That Biden Family Profited From Human Trafficking

By Washington Times. Two Republican lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee say the Biden family profited from a human trafficking scheme that included a prostitution ring in the U.S. and countries such as Russia and Ukraine.

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Nancy Mace of South Carolina said they have viewed bank documents at the Treasury Department that contain “jaw-dropping” evidence about an extensive web of Biden family foreign business deals, some of which showed evidence of human trafficking and prostitution rings.

The two lawmakers sit on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, which is investigating the Biden family’s foreign business deals to determine if President Biden participated or had knowledge of them. The Republican-led panel is combing through Treasury Department Suspicious Activity Reports or SARs that have been generated by banks for transactions made by Biden family members and their business associates.

Ms. Greene, in a video posted to her Twitter account, said the House Oversight Committee had just finished reviewing over 2,000 pages of financial records related to the business dealings of the Biden family.

Rep. Taylor Greene Accuses Biden and Family of ‘Human Trafficking’

By Al Mayadeen English. In a controversial statement on Twitter, US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed that President Joe Biden and some members of his family are responsible for running a human trafficking ring connected to Russia and Ukraine.

“The Biden crime family participated in human trafficking by soliciting prostitutes from the United States and abroad in countries like Russia and Ukraine. There is an entire crime enterprise wrapped around Joe Biden and his family. The House Oversight Committee has a much bigger investigation to do than ever thought possible,” she posted in a video on Twitter.

She continued to claim that funding the ring went through foreign nations, including China and Ukraine. . .

“This is an investigation that needs to be revealed to the American people,” Greene said. “This is going to extend into developing a web of corruption, a web of fake companies, that’s going to reveal money that came in from many foreign countries and went directly into the personal bank accounts of the Biden family.” (Read more from “Rep. Biden Invites ‘Tennessee Three’ to White House — But Won’t Invite Families of Covenant School Massacre Victims

President Joe Biden has invited the so-called Tennessee Three to the White House, but he is not inviting the families of the victims of the Covenant School massacre.

At the White House press briefing on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that Biden has invited Tennessee Democratic state Reps. Justin Jones, Justin Pearson, and Gloria Johnson to the White House. They will visit next Monday. . .

When it was his turn to ask a question, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy wanted to know: What about the families of the victims of the massacre? . . .

Jean-Pierre, however, could not provide an answer. Instead, she vaguely explained how Biden is “focused on getting things done” and plans to use his “bully pulpit” to continue pushing his agenda, which includes banning so-called assault weapons. Hosting the lawmakers at the White House, Jean-Pierre said, is about fostering a conversation to that end.

On Monday, President Joe Biden reiterated his false claim that guns are the “leading killer of children.”

Biden tweeted:

Biden has made the claim regarding guns and children numerous times. He began doing so in the summer of 2022, which is when Breitbart News fact checked his claim and found it to be false. . .

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data shows that the number of firearm related deaths for children 0-17 was 2,281 in 2020, while the number of motor vehicle deaths for the same ages was 2,503.
