‘Clear Threat’: Critics Raise Concern ‘RESTRICT’ Act Empowers Biden While Leaving Chinese ‘Spyware’ in Place

The RESTRICT Act — one of the bills currently in the Senate which could ban TikTok — has the potential to provide President Joe Biden with “new authority” while doing nothing to stop the Chinese-based app, Republican lawmakers and digital rights activists warn.

The White House has endorsed the legislation and has urged Congress to send it to Biden’s desk, applauding the bipartisan efforts of Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner and Republican South Dakota Sen. John Thune.

The endorsement came shortly after the Chinese-based app hired SKDK — a PR firm filled with former senior figures in the Biden administration — to help with policy communications, Politico reported. White House senior adviser Anita Dunn, who is a founding partner of SKDK, encouraged allies to use the app before Biden’s State of the Union address, according to the outlet.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates told Politico that Dunn’s directions were not new: “we work with outside supporters to spread our message on the major social media platforms, including TikTok.”

TikTok has become a key element of the Biden administration’s strategy towards targeting younger voters. The White House has invited influencers from TikTok to spread Biden’s agenda, and his 2020 campaign relied on the app. (Read more from “‘Clear Threat’: Critics Raise Concern ‘RESTRICT’ Act Empowers Biden While Leaving Chinese ‘Spyware’ in Place” HERE)

‘Made in the Image of God’: President Biden Commemorates Transgender Day of Visibility

President Joe Biden on Friday commemorated Transgender Day of Visibility, calling transgender people “made in the image of God and deserving of dignity, respect, and support.”

He also released a lengthy proclamation.

Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates the joy, strength, and absolute courage of some of the bravest people I know — people who have too often had to put their jobs, relationships, and lives on the line just to be their true selves. Today, we show millions of transgender and nonbinary Americans that we see them, they belong, and they should be treated with dignity and respect. Their courage has given countless others strength, but no one should have to be brave just to be themselves. Every American deserves that freedom.

Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul — proudly serving in the military, curing deadly diseases, holding elected office, running thriving businesses, fighting for justice, raising families, and much more. As kids, they deserve what every child deserves: the chance to learn in safe and supportive schools, to develop meaningful friendships, and to live openly and honestly. As adults, they deserve the same rights enjoyed by every American, including equal access to health care, housing, and jobs and the chance to age with grace as senior citizens. But today, too many transgender Americans are still denied those rights and freedoms. A wave of discriminatory State laws is targeting transgender youth, terrifying families and hurting kids who are not hurting anyone. An epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, in particular women and girls of color, has taken lives far too soon. Last year’s Club Q shooting in Colorado was another painful example of this kind of violence — a stain on the conscience of our Nation.

My Administration has fought to end these injustices from day one, working to ensure that transgender people and the entire LGBTQI+ community can live openly and safely. On my first day as President, I issued an Executive Order directing the Federal Government to root out discrimination against LGBTQI+ people and their families. We have appointed a record number of openly LGBTQI+ leaders, and I was proud to rescind the ban on openly transgender people serving in the military. We are also working to make public spaces and travel more accessible, including with more inclusive gender markers on United States passports. We are improving access to public services and entitlements like Social Security. We are cracking down on discrimination in housing and education. And last December, I signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, ensuring that every American can marry the person they love and have that marriage accepted, period.

Joe Biden Asks Americans To Pressure Congress To Ban ‘Assault Weapons’

President Joe Biden urged Americans to figure out which members of Congress do not support an “assault weapons” ban and pressure them to do so in another push for gun control Tuesday.

“The majority of the American people think having assault weapons is bizarre, it’s a crazy idea,” he said, per the Hill.

Biden noted that he could not do any more on “assault weapons” via executive action, so he urged Americans to figure out where their representatives stand on the issue and pressure them.

He said, “Because I want you to know who isn’t doing it, who isn’t helping. Put pressure on them.”

Biden asserted there is “a moral price to pay for inaction.” (Read more from “Joe Biden Asks Americans To Pressure Congress To Ban ‘Assault Weapons’” HERE)

Karine Jean-Pierre Responds to Question About Gun Confiscation With an Alarming Answer

When faced with a relatively easy question about President Joe Biden’s position on gun confiscation policies, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wouldn’t give a straight answer.

Invoking repeatedly failed candidate Robert Francis O’Rourke’s 2019 presidential debate promise that “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” a reporter asked Jean-Pierre, “Does the president support not just banning the sale and manufacture of semi-automatic weapons but further than that, confiscation?”

It’s a straightforward question: Does President Biden think legally owned firearms should be confiscated by the federal government? But Jean-Pierre wouldn’t say “yes” or “no” in what should be an easy answer.

Instead, Jean-Pierre ignored the question and retreated to the usual Democrat talking points about “weapons of war” that “should not be on the streets across the country in our communities, they should not be in schools, they should not be in grocery stores, they should not be in churches — that’s what the president believes.”

Poll: Only 25% Of Democrats Prefer Joe Biden

Only 25 percent of Democrats preferred President Joe Biden launch a 2024 reelection campaign, a Monmouth University Poll revealed Monday.

The number marks a dangerous low point for the president, who is expected to announce a 2024 campaign in April, according to media reports.

Although 25 percent preferred Biden to run for reelection, 44 percent did not want Biden to seek reelection. Thirty percent of Democrats felt indifferent to his potential campaign.

Among Democrats who identified as “strong Democrats,” which account for over half the party’s electorate, 36 percent wanted Biden to not run for reelection. Thirty-six percent also said they did want him to run for reelection. (Read more from “Poll: Only 25% Of Democrats Prefer Joe Biden” HERE)

Biden Jokes About Ice Cream Moments Before Politicizing Shooting With Call for Assault Weapons Ban

In remarks shared via a video clip over Twitter, President Joe Biden on Monday managed to politicize the shooting that took place earlier that day at at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. Three children and three adults were killed. . .

The approximately one-minute long video clip, which included some rather jarring edits of Biden’s full remarks at a women’s summit, featured the president referring to the shooting as “sick” as well as “heartbreaking” and “a family’s worst nightmare.” He went on to share “we have to do more to stop gun violence,” which is “ripping our communities apart, ripping at the very soul of the nation.” Biden also shared that “we have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons.”

Biden had himself acknowledged at the beginning of these remarks that “we’re still gathering the facts,” but still went on to use this situation to call for an assault weapons ban. “The shooter reportedly had two assault weapons, and a pistol,” he said, before saying “I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapons ban,” and that “it’s about time that we began to make some progress.” In the full remarks included in the official White House transcript, Biden described them as AK-47s. . .

What makes Biden’s remarks even more “appalling,” as our friends at Twitchy aptly put it, is that those Monday remarks began with him joking about his love for ice cream.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. And I eat Jeni’s Ice Cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” he said to laughter. “By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding, I’m not,” he continued.

Biden Sued for Embedding Racial Discrimination in Federal Business Program

The federal government, under Joe Biden’s leadership, has set up a bureaucracy that it intends will discriminate against people of some races, but not others.

Citing that apparent civil rights violation for those people in the groups facing discrimination, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty has sued.

“America must continue to advance toward a colorblind society where every person is judged on their merit and not the color of their skin,” explained Dan Lennington, deputy counsel for WILL.

“The Biden administration’s choice to create this race-based agency is a step back for civil rights, and we aim to correct that misstep.”

The issue is Biden’s new “Minority Business Development Agency.” (Read more from “Biden Sued for Embedding Racial Discrimination in Federal Business Program” HERE)

Joe Biden: ‘I Applaud China… Excuse Me, I Applaud Canada’

If it wasn’t clear how President Joe Biden hails China, his latest slip-up proves it.

During a speech in Canada, Biden mistakenly praised “China” when he meant to say Canada when speaking about the country’s immigration policy.

“Today, I applaud China for stepping up. Excuse me; I applaud Canada,” Biden said as the crowd laughed. “You can tell what I’m thinking about China. I won’t get into that yet.”

Considering Biden’s shady business dealings he and his family in China, Americans shouldn’t be surprised the communist country is always on his mind.

Moments before his embarrassing gaffe, Biden never mentioned China while discussing fentanyl, which is driving a surge in U.S. overdose deaths. (Read more from “Joe Biden: ‘I Applaud China… Excuse Me, I Applaud Canada'” HERE)

How Local Cops Balked When Biden, AG Garland Unleashed Counterterrorism Agents on School Parents

The Biden administration had “no legitimate basis” to deploy federal counterterrorism resources against parents who protested against local education officials, according to an interim report on Attorney General Merrick Garland’s 2021 school boards memo released by the House Judiciary Committee.

Citing a trove of recently obtained documents, lawmakers behind Judiciary’s weaponization subcommittee probe into the controversial memo said the Biden administration “misused federal law-enforcement and counterterrorism resources for political purposes.”

“The Justice Department’s own documents demonstrate that there was no compelling nationwide law-enforcement justification for the Attorney General’s directive or the Department components’ execution thereof,” the interim report reads.

The panel released documents last week as part of the report. The documents show “strong negative reactions” to Mr. Garland’s memo by local law enforcement officials days after it was issued.

Several U.S. Attorneys reported back to DOJ headquarters with objections by their local law enforcement counterparts in issues involving local school board meetings in the weeks following the memo. Biden Issues Warning to Iran After Drone Strike Injures Military Personnel, Kills US Contractor

President Biden warned Iran that the U.S. will “act forcefully” to protect Americans after a drone strike in Syria killed a U.S. contractor and injured five U.S. service members Thursday.

“My heart and deepest condolences go out to the family of the American we lost, and we wish a speedy recovery for those who are wounded,” the President said at a joint press conference in Canada alongside Prime Minister Trudeau.

Biden prefaced his remarks by explaining that he had ordered airstrikes targeting “those responsible” for attacking American personnel.

“And to make no mistake: The United States does not — does not, I emphasize — seek conflict with Iran, but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people,” Biden said in his remarks. Biden said the United States would continue efforts to counter terrorist threats in the region along with coalition members like Canada to defeat ISIS.

Simultaneous attacks were launched at U.S. forces in Syria late Friday, according to Voice of America News. Preliminary information suggested there was a rocket attack on the Conoco plant, where U.S. troops are stationed.
