Biden Sued for Embedding Racial Discrimination in Federal Business Program

The federal government, under Joe Biden’s leadership, has set up a bureaucracy that it intends will discriminate against people of some races, but not others.

Citing that apparent civil rights violation for those people in the groups facing discrimination, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty has sued.

“America must continue to advance toward a colorblind society where every person is judged on their merit and not the color of their skin,” explained Dan Lennington, deputy counsel for WILL.

“The Biden administration’s choice to create this race-based agency is a step back for civil rights, and we aim to correct that misstep.”

The issue is Biden’s new “Minority Business Development Agency.” (Read more from “Biden Sued for Embedding Racial Discrimination in Federal Business Program” HERE)

Joe Biden: ‘I Applaud China… Excuse Me, I Applaud Canada’

If it wasn’t clear how President Joe Biden hails China, his latest slip-up proves it.

During a speech in Canada, Biden mistakenly praised “China” when he meant to say Canada when speaking about the country’s immigration policy.

“Today, I applaud China for stepping up. Excuse me; I applaud Canada,” Biden said as the crowd laughed. “You can tell what I’m thinking about China. I won’t get into that yet.”

Considering Biden’s shady business dealings he and his family in China, Americans shouldn’t be surprised the communist country is always on his mind.

Moments before his embarrassing gaffe, Biden never mentioned China while discussing fentanyl, which is driving a surge in U.S. overdose deaths. (Read more from “Joe Biden: ‘I Applaud China… Excuse Me, I Applaud Canada'” HERE)

How Local Cops Balked When Biden, AG Garland Unleashed Counterterrorism Agents on School Parents

The Biden administration had “no legitimate basis” to deploy federal counterterrorism resources against parents who protested against local education officials, according to an interim report on Attorney General Merrick Garland’s 2021 school boards memo released by the House Judiciary Committee.

Citing a trove of recently obtained documents, lawmakers behind Judiciary’s weaponization subcommittee probe into the controversial memo said the Biden administration “misused federal law-enforcement and counterterrorism resources for political purposes.”

“The Justice Department’s own documents demonstrate that there was no compelling nationwide law-enforcement justification for the Attorney General’s directive or the Department components’ execution thereof,” the interim report reads.

The panel released documents last week as part of the report. The documents show “strong negative reactions” to Mr. Garland’s memo by local law enforcement officials days after it was issued.

Several U.S. Attorneys reported back to DOJ headquarters with objections by their local law enforcement counterparts in issues involving local school board meetings in the weeks following the memo. Biden Issues Warning to Iran After Drone Strike Injures Military Personnel, Kills US Contractor

President Biden warned Iran that the U.S. will “act forcefully” to protect Americans after a drone strike in Syria killed a U.S. contractor and injured five U.S. service members Thursday.

“My heart and deepest condolences go out to the family of the American we lost, and we wish a speedy recovery for those who are wounded,” the President said at a joint press conference in Canada alongside Prime Minister Trudeau.

Biden prefaced his remarks by explaining that he had ordered airstrikes targeting “those responsible” for attacking American personnel.

“And to make no mistake: The United States does not — does not, I emphasize — seek conflict with Iran, but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people,” Biden said in his remarks. Biden said the United States would continue efforts to counter terrorist threats in the region along with coalition members like Canada to defeat ISIS.

Simultaneous attacks were launched at U.S. forces in Syria late Friday, according to Voice of America News. Preliminary information suggested there was a rocket attack on the Conoco plant, where U.S. troops are stationed. Federal Appeals Court Blocks Biden’s Vaccine Mandate on Federal Employees

President Joe Biden’s coronavirus vaccine mandate is illegal under federal law, the Fifth Circuit federal appeals court held Thursday in a major defeat for the Biden administration.

Biden issued Executive Order 14043 on September 9, 2021, requiring 4.2 million federal employees to get a Covid vaccine as a condition for continued employment by the federal government. He claimed he had this authority under the Civil Service Reform Act (CSRA) as part of determining “workplace conditions” for employees, and that he also had inherent power under Article II of the Constitution to require federal employees to get the jab.

A nonprofit group named Feds for Medical Freedom sued on behalf of its 6,000 members who are federal employees, joined by other groups and individual plaintiffs, all arguing that the president has no such authority, and seeking a preliminary injunction to block the mandate while the case plays out in court. They are represented by Boyden Gray & Associates, a boutique law firm led by famed lawyer Boyden Gray, who served as White House counsel under President George H.W. Bush and is also a former U.S. ambassador. Several lawyers from the Trump administration who now work at his firm, Jonathan Berry, Michael Buschbacher, and Trent McCotter led the challenge.

Judge Jeffrey Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas agreed with the challengers, holding the president lacked this authority. Noting that the 6,000 employees and other plaintiffs were scattered nationwide amongst virtually every federal agency, he issued a preliminary injunction blocking Biden’s vaccine mandate nationwide. White House Doesn’t Deny Biden Family China Payout After Joe Biden Did (VIDEO)

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday did not deny Biden family members received a collective $1.3 million payout from a CCP-linked entity after President Joe Biden denied the payout.

Joe Biden falsely claimed Friday his family members did not receive a $1.3 million cut funneled through a $3 million dollar wire transfer to Biden family business associate Robinson Walker — a cut even Hunter Biden’s acknowledged was true.

“House Oversight says they’ve got bank records showing a Chinese energy company paying three Biden family members through a third party. What were they paid for?” Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre replied by dodging the question without denying the payments were received by the Biden family members.

“Look, I’m — I’m just not going to respond to that from here,” she said. “And I don’t even where to begin to even answer that question because, again, it’s been lies and lies and inaccuracy for the past couple years.”

Bank Records Show Associate Funneled Money From Chinese Company to Biden Family; Subpoenaed Records Reveal ‘New’ Biden Family Member Who Got China Cash; WH Refuses to Answer Questions on Biden-China Ties

By Townhall. The House Oversight Committee, amid its ongoing scrutiny of President Joe Biden’s family and their business dealings, released new documents on Thursday that include bank records showing Biden family members received more than $1 million from a Chinese energy company after passing through the account of a family associate.

The revelations come as a result of subpoenas filed by Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) in February.

According to the Oversight Committee, lawmakers “recently obtained financial records related to Mr. John Robinson Walker, a Biden family associate, and his company Robinson Walker, LLC.” Those records revealed that between 2015 and 2017, “Biden family members and their companies received over $1.2 million in payments from Rob Walker related accounts.” (Read more from “Bank Records Show Associate Funneled Money From Chinese Company to Biden Family” HERE)

Subpoenaed Bank Records Reveal ‘New’ Biden Family Member Who Got China Cash

By New York Post. President Biden’s daughter-in-law Hallie is the mysterious “new” Biden family member who got paid Chinese cash in 2017, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed exclusively to The Post Thursday.

Comer said the payments to first son Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law-turned-former lover were revealed in subpoenaed bank records.

The records show Hallie Biden received $35,000 over two transfers in 2017 from Biden family associate Rob Walker, who got $3 million on March 1, 2017, from State Energy HK Limited, a firm affiliated with CEFC China Energy.

President Biden, who allegedly was the “big guy” mentioned in communications about the same Chinese venture, dined at Hallie Biden’s residence last Friday during his regular weekend trip home to Delaware. It’s unclear if they discussed the looming bombshell, which Comer (R-Ky.) publicly teased Monday night on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

One transfer to Hallie from Robinson Walker LLC was for $25,000 on March 20, 2017, Comer’s staff wrote in a Thursday morning memo to committee members. Another $10,000 was transferred on Feb. 13 — raising “many questions” according to a committee aide because it came shortly before, rather than after, the $3 million haul. Only One White House Reporter Asked KJP About New Biden-China Revelations Before She Walked Out of the Room

By Daily Caller. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre walked out of the briefing room Thursday after a question about new revelations about the Biden family’s ties to China.

“It sounded like @DailyMail’s @RobCrilly tried to get a question in, but he wasn’t called on and it was as KJP left the room,” Newsbusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck tweeted. “But, yes, none of the people called on got one in.”

The House Oversight Committee said that President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, his brother James, daughter-in-law Hallie and one other Biden family member received payments totaling over $1 million across three months from an account linked to a business partner of Hunter Biden in a Thursday release. If Biden Gets His Way, Using Correct Pronouns Could Be a Human Rights Violation

By The Federalist. President Joe Biden’s Department of Education plans to enact new rule changes to civil rights law this May that would end free speech as Americans have known it.

The changes would inject gender ideology straight into the heart of Title IX of the Civil Rights Act by erasing the Supreme Court’s long-standing distinction between protected speech and punishable conduct.

In its 1999 ruling in Davis v. Monroe County Board of Education, the Supreme Court held that expressive activity such as speech can only constitute harassment when it is “so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive” that it can no longer be considered pure speech and is more properly viewed as actionable conduct. In the process, the court emphasized that single instances of speech — no matter how offensive to the listener — do not rise to the level of harassment.

The Biden administration is purposefully muddying the waters between mere speech and harassing conduct specifically to force the use of pronouns and gender-affirming language. Under the proposed rule, students and faculty can violate Title IX simply for refusing to use someone else’s “preferred” pronouns.

Ideally, investigations involving Title IX are mindful of First Amendment protections and proceed according to the American standard of due process that a person is innocent until proven guilty. Title IX has typically been reserved for incidents of sexual assault or harassment. Under the Biden administration, however, students and faculty could be reported for mere speech. By coercing and compelling speech, this administration will set legal precedent ablaze and steamroll arguably our nation’s most foundational principle. Department of Education hears comment on rules involving library content, gender identity

By KOCO News 5. The Oklahoma State Department of Education heard public comment Friday on new rules that will be considered by the department.

One rule being considered could downgrade a school’s accreditation if oversexualized content and pornographic material is made available to minors in school libraries. Another rule claims to reinforce parental rights, and it would require schools to inform parents if their child identifies a certain way.

“We should not give material that is inappropriate for younger kids in the schools, because they are not able to digest it,” a person said during public comment.

Walters said he supports the rule regarding certain material in school libraries. But opponents of the rule argue Oklahoma already has plenty of procedures in place to make sure books are appropriate. . .

The other rule that was up for public comments, as it is written, would allow parents to inspect school materials and be informed by school staff if a student brings up certain topics like gender identity or sexual orientation while at school. Biden Horrifies Pelosi By Saying Trump May Be ‘Future President’

A recent speech by President Joe Biden elicited a sickened response from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Los Angeles Times reporter Nolan McCaskill recently spent a day with Pelosi, who remains a member of Congress after stepping down from leadership, for a profile published on Monday.

McCaskill observed Pelosi react to a speech given by Biden on March 9 pitching his budget proposal for fiscal year 2024. At one point during his remarks, Biden harkened back to his 2020 election contest against former President Donald Trump.

“I had a big fight with the former president and maybe future president — bless me, Father,” Biden said. Amid a wave of boos in the room, Biden indicated he was joking. (Read more from “Biden Horrifies Pelosi By Saying Trump May Be ‘Future President’” HERE)

Biden Uses First Veto of His Presidency to Kill Rebuke of Federal ESG Push

President Joe Biden vetoed legislation on Monday that would have overturned a Labor Department rule allowing retirement fiduciaries to invest in accordance with the environmental, social, and corporate governance movement, also known as ESG.

The Labor Department issued a final rule last year that reflected the Biden administration’s purported efforts to safeguard the economy from “climate-related financial risk that may threaten the life savings and pensions of America’s workers and families.” Under the new rule, which reverses a prohibition created under the Trump administration, fiduciaries are allowed to weigh “the economic effects of climate change and other ESG considerations” as long as the concerns are relevant to a risk-and-return analysis.

The veto, which is the first issued by Biden, overturns a resolution passed by Republicans and a handful of Democrats in order to nix the rule. Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), both of whom are campaigning for re-election next year in heavily Republican states, voted alongside their GOP colleagues to advance the measure.

“There is extensive evidence showing that environmental, social, and governance factors can have a material impact on markets, industries, and businesses. But the Republican-led resolution would force retirement managers to ignore these relevant risk factors, disregarding the principles of free markets and jeopardizing the life savings of working families and retirees,” Biden said in a message to lawmakers released on Monday. “In fact, this resolution would prevent retirement plan fiduciaries from taking into account factors, such as the physical risks of climate change and poor corporate governance, that could affect investment returns.” (Read more from “Biden Uses First Veto of His Presidency to Kill Rebuke of Federal ESG Push” HERE)
