In a recent interview with Fox News, Charlamagne Tha God, host of The Breakfast Club, raised doubts about the viability of the Biden/Harris ticket for the upcoming presidential election. This comes in response to First Lady Jill Biden’s assertion that President Joe Biden has the “energy” and “vigor” to serve another term in office.

Charlamagne expressed skepticism, laughing at the idea and stating, “That’s really the conversation — is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris still a winnable ticket? I think Republicans should be asking themselves that, too. Is Donald Trump still a winnable ticket?”

While acknowledging current polls indicating Trump’s lead over Biden in a general election, Charlamagne remained uncertain, saying, “I don’t know. I really, truly don’t know. So to answer your question, uh, no. He doesn’t look full of vigor like his wife says. Not to me, anyway.”

The radio host, who previously endorsed Biden in 2020 but now expresses regret for the endorsement, emphasized that he won’t be endorsing any candidate in the 2024 election. Reflecting on his past endorsement, Charlamagne mentioned feeling “burned” by the Biden administration, stating, “They come around and they court you, and they tell you sweet nothings and tell you all the things that you know you want to hear. But once you get in a relationship with each other, they don’t really back up a lot of those promises.”

Addressing concerns about former President Donald Trump, Charlamagne criticized him for alleged attempts at a “coup” and claimed Trump is “poisoning the blood of our country” with his alleged rhetoric on illegal aliens.

Furthermore, Charlamange announced plans for a new and improved platform. “Don’t think that this is a platform that is going to be another liberal echo chamber,” Charlamagne asserted. “We’re gonna have hosts that are conservative. And we’re just going to hope that some real dialogue can start happening in this country.”

Poll: Donald Trump Dominates Joe Biden in Georgia

Former President Donald Trump has taken the lead over President Joe Biden in Georgia, the latest AJC poll found.

The survey showed Trump, the runaway frontrunner in the Republican primary race, leading the incumbent in the Peach State by eight percentage points — 45 percent to Biden’s 37 percent support.

Another seven percent said they supported an “other candidate,” six percent said they “will not vote,” and six percent said they “don’t know.”

What is more is Trump’s dominance among independent voters in Georgia, leading Biden by double digits — 54 percent to 37 percent.

Further, the AJC poll found that black voters, “the party’s most loyal constituency, are split” over Biden’s job performance. Overall, 62 percent of registered voters disapproved of Biden’s job performance:

Fact-Check: Did White House Lie on MLK Day Tweet Claiming Biden ‘Handpicked’ Bust?

President Joe Biden’s administration found itself under scrutiny on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a White House tweet claimed that Biden had “handpicked” a bust of the civil rights leader for the Oval Office. However, a closer look reveals a factual misstep in the attempt to connect Biden to the symbolic gesture.

The social media post from the White House declared, “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s bust sits inside the Oval Office — handpicked by President Biden — as a reflection of President Biden’s promise to America: to restore the soul of America, to rebuild this country from the bottom up and the middle out, and to unite it.”

The assertion, however, faces a significant flaw. Contrary to the claim, Biden did not handpick the MLK bust for the Oval Office. As reported at the beginning of Biden’s term by the Washington Post, busts of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy flanked a fireplace in the Oval Office. The MLK bust first arrived during President Barack Obama’s tenure, and President Donald Trump retained it, albeit in a different area of the room.

Therefore, the claim that Biden personally selected the MLK bust is inaccurate. The only credit Biden can truthfully receive is deciding to relocate the bust after removing a Winston Churchill bust that had been displayed by the George W. Bush and Trump administrations.

This isn’t the first time the MLK bust has been at the center of misinformation. In 2017, a false narrative emerged, suggesting that Trump had removed the MLK bust after his inauguration, leading to a fact-checking debacle that discredited the claim.

The recent misstep adds to Biden’s history of factual inaccuracies and embellishments.

Biden Campaign Announces Massive Fundraising Haul — There’s Just One Problem

The Biden campaign raised significantly less in quarter four of 2023 than the Trump camp did at the same point in the lead-up to the 2020 election.

Biden and his allies are touting that the president’s campaign raised $97 million in the last three months of 2023, and that it had $117 million on hand at the end of that period. The Trump campaign, meanwhile, raised $154 million and had $195 million in the bank at the same point in the 2020 election cycle, The New York Times reported.

The disparity between Trump’s and Biden’s campaigns is heightened when considering inflation. A dollar is worth 20% less now than it was in January 2020, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index calculator.

Polling has suggested that Americans are not satisfied with the president’s handling of inflation.

A December 2023 Monmouth University poll found that only 28% of Americans approved of Biden’s handling of inflation, and just 34% of those surveyed approved of the president’s overall job performance, an all-time low. House Republicans Offer to Accommodate Hunter Biden With New Subpoenas

House Republicans said on Sunday they are willing to accommodate Hunter Biden by agreeing to subpoena him again for the impeachment inquiry into his father, President Joe Biden, after he refused to comply with the last round.

Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) wrote to Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, welcoming the first son’s “newfound willingness” to testify before Congress in a deposition under subpoena.

“Although the Committee’s subpoenas are lawful and remain legally enforceable, as an accommodation to Mr. Biden and at your request, we are prepared to issue subpoenas compelling Mr. Biden’s appearance at a deposition on a new date in the coming weeks,” they wrote.

Lowell wrote a letter to the chairmen on Friday after the oversight and judiciary panels approved resolutions to hold his client in contempt of Congress for defying subpoenas issued in November.

Senator Predicts Timeline for Hunter Biden Pardon

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) predicted this week that President Joe Biden is going to pardon his son Hunter Biden this December regardless of the outcome of the presidential election in November.

Cruz made the prediction during the most recent broadcast of his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson as Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty this week in a California federal court to nine criminal counts related to alleged tax crimes. Hunter Biden also faces federal gun charges, which he already pleaded not guilty to late last year.

“My prediction is in December of 2024, Joe Biden will pardon Hunter Biden,” Cruz said. “Win or lose. If Biden were to win, I think he’ll delay the pardon until right before Hunter goes to jail. But if Biden is losing, I’d put the odds at 95% that in December of this year, if Biden has just lost the general election, that he pardons his son, and he gives him a scot free get-out-of-jail pass.”

“And so, understand Hunter’s legal strategy is delay 11 months, don’t go to jail for 11 months, and then daddy gives you a get-out-of-jail free card — and it’s why the House needs to keep their eye on the ball and bring Hunter for the public hearing,” he continued.

Jill Biden Defends 81-Year-Old Senile Joe Biden

First Lady Jill Biden hit back on concerns about her husband’s old age after a reporter said that “everything is on the line” as the 2024 election nears the corner.

On Thursday, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski stressed unease about Biden’s mental and physical health, to which Jill responded by saying that his age is an “asset” because he’s “lived history.”

“This is a massive amount of physical and emotional stress. It would be on any person. Your husband is 81. At the end of a second term, he’d be 86. As his life partner of 46 years, is there a part of you that is worried about his age and health? Can he do it?” Brzezinski asked.

In response, Jill described her husband as having “vigor,” “energy,” and “passion”— despite just last week, the First Lady had to rush to Biden’s side and guide him after seemingly becoming lost and confused.

Jill also criticized those who said they wouldn’t vote for Biden because of his age. She said her husband is a “wise” man who has a lot of experience and can make thoughtful decisions, claiming the president was the right man for the job at this moment in history. Hunter Biden Pleads Not Guilty to Tax Charges

Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to federal tax charges in California on Thursday.

The controversial tax charges did not include Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations and did not implicate President Joe Biden in any wrongdoing.

“The steps taken by Hunter to evade taxes are impressive, but not nearly as impressive as the efforts of the Justice Department to evade any direct implications for his father, President Biden,” Jonathan Turley, an attorney and professor at George Washington University Law School, wrote in the New York Post.

Special Counsel David Weiss indicted Hunter in December on nine charges, including three felonies: allegedly failing to file taxes, evading an assessment, and filing a fraudulent form.

The indictment alleges Hunter “willfully failed to pay his 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 taxes on time, despite having access to funds to pay some or all of these taxes” and instead “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden Pleads Not Guilty to Tax Charges” HERE)
