You’ll Never Guess Who Biden Just Picked to Replace John Kerry as Top Climate Diplomat

President Joe Biden will pick a Democratic Party insider to replace the outgoing Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, according to The Washington Post.

John Podesta, who currently works in the White House as a senior adviser to the president, will take the reins from Kerry as the face of the Biden administration’s international climate diplomacy efforts when Kerry walks away from his role later this spring, the Post reported Wednesday. Podesta, who maintained ties with a Chinese government influence operative for more than a decade, has wielded significant influence within the Democratic Party apparatus since the Clinton administration.

Negotiating with China — the world’s second-largest economy and by far its leading emitter — will be a key aspect of Podesta’s work, as it was for Kerry. Notably, Podesta has cooperated in the past with known Chinese influence operative Tung Chee-hwa and his Chinese Communist Party-backed organization, the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), sitting on the CUSEF’s 2022 steering committee and writing three articles for CUSEF’s website since 2011, a 2022 Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found.

Tung is “clearly associated” with the CCP’s United Front Work Department (UFWD), according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. The UFWD engages in propaganda efforts, espionage and violence, according to the State Department.

Reports surfaced earlier in January stating that Kerry will give up his role as the administration’s top climate diplomat to assist Biden’s reelection efforts. When Podesta takes over under the official title of “senior adviser to the president for international climate policy,” he will operate out of the White House instead of the State Department, which was home to Kerry and his staff, according to the Post. Fart Fiasco: John Kerry’s Unintended Emission Steals Spotlight at Climate Change Conference (VIDEO)

The United States’ Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, found himself at the center of an unexpected incident during the Climate Change Conference in Dubai on Sunday. While passionately discussing US policy on coal power plants, Kerry inadvertently unleashed a burst of wind energy of a different kind — a momentary flatulence that became the unexpected highlight of the international event.

The incident occurred as Kerry was advocating against permitting more coal-fired power plants worldwide. In the midst of his anti-coal diatribe, a distinct sound of passing gas interrupted his speech. The unexpected noise, commonly known as a Bronx cheer, was captured by microphones, providing an amusing twist to the serious discussions on climate policy.

Kerry’s fellow panelists, Becky Anderson, Managing Editor of CNN Abu Dhabi, and Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, maintained their composure as the crowd, seemingly unfazed, broke into applause. Anderson, seated within potential striking distance, subtly jerked her head aside and discreetly placed her hand to her mouth, possibly anticipating any lingering effects of the comical interruption.

Despite the unexpected interruption, Kerry continued with his impassioned speech on the interconnected nature of the climate crisis and health issues. The incident, however, did not go unnoticed, with some critics viewing it as an embarrassment to the United States on the international stage.

Larry O’Connor of Townhall Media emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, “The biggest problem is, during this entire exchange, representing us, The United States of America, he ripped a fart out.”

Viewers Noticed Something Strange About John Kerry at King Charles’ Coronation

Amid the fanfare of King Charles’ coronation over the weekend, it was easy to miss President Biden’s climate czar John Kerry — who flew to the U.K. without regard for the emissions his travel necessitated — sitting in attendance at the official ceremony.

There were some, however, who did pick Kerry out in the crowd and noted something interesting about his appearance. Dressed in a suit, the former Secretary of State was weighed down with service medals from the United States military…the medals he previously was publicly proud to discard as a show of his allegedly strongly held convictions.

You see, back in 1971, a much-younger John Kerry told WRC-TV on November 6, 1971, that he “gave back” the medals he earned with his service in Vietnam. He, along with other anti-war veterans who discarded their honors, Kerry said at the time, “decided to give them back to their country.”

When asked whether he’d returned a Bronze Star, a Silver Star, and three Purple Hearts he received for his combat service, Kerry replied that he had and “above that, [I] gave back the others.”

Kerry was a leader among anti-war veterans and led them in a protest in Washington, D.C. According to news reports in 1971, “many veterans were seen throwing their medals and ribbons over the fence in front of the U.S. Capitol,” and a handful of outlets “reported that Kerry was among these veterans,” according to ABC News.

Report: Hunter Biden Said Offer From Powerful Chinese Investor Had ‘Everything To Do With My Last Name’; John Kerry Has $1 Million Invested in Chinese Fund Supporting Black-Listed Company

By Breitbart. Newly-unveiled emails reveal Hunter Biden admitted a Chinese businessman was solely interested in a business deal due to his “last name” — or his association with his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden.

The Washington Free Beacon reported Wednesday on emails dated 2010-2011 between Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer regarding Che Fung — head of the Chinese investment company Ever Union Capital — several years before Che was arrested on money laundering charges in Beijing. These emails were discovered on the infamous laptop Biden abandoned in a Delaware repair shop.

Reporter Chuck Ross says Hunter wrote in September 2011 that his business deal with Che — nicknamed “Super Chairman” and “Mr. Che” in other emails — had “everything to do with my last name.” The emails reveal Hunter met with Che in April of 2010 to negotiate a deal with Ever Union Capital to invest nearly $150 million in the Communist regime’s sovereign wealth fund. It is unclear whether this potential deal was ever completed.

The revealed emails also reportedly indicate Hunter and business partner Archer saw the business connection to Che as an opportunity to make connections with large financial institutions, such as Blackstone and Carlyle Group, which reportedly sought business deals in China.

John Kerry Has $1 Million Invested in Chinese Fund Supporting Black-Listed Company

By WND. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and his wife hold at least $1 million in a Chinese investment fund that owns a significant stake in a Chinese technology company that aided China’s human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims, records show.

Kerry reported holding an “over $1,000,000” stake in the investment fund, Hillhouse China Value Fund L.P., in his financial disclosure submitted in February. The fund is a part of the Hillhouse Capital Group, a private equity firm operated by Chinese billionaire Zhang Lei and known for its early investments in some of China’s top technology companies.

Hillhouse invested $55 million in the Chinese surveillance firm Yitu Technology in 2017, a company that was later placed on the U.S. government’s “entity list” in 2019 for developing facial recognition software specifically designed to detect Uyghurs. Being on the entity list, U.S. companies must obtain a special license before doing business with Yitu, according to the Center for Strategic & International Studies. . .

Kerry owns his stake in the investment fund through a trust, whose beneficiary is his wife, the Free Beacon reported. Kerry reported in his financial disclosure that he and his wife have no involvement in managing the investments in the trust. John Kerry Caught Going Maskless at the Airport, Again

Climate czar John Kerry was yet again spotted at the airport without his mask, despite federal law requiring passengers to wear them. As Beth reported in March, Kerry also appeared maskless on a flight, though he responded it was “malarkey” and claimed if he wasn’t wearing his mask “it was momentary.”

The photographs of this recent incident were obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, and show the former Secretary of State without his mask while going through security at the Boston Logan International Airport on Monday morning. . .

John Kerry Invested in Oil and Gas Stocks Before WH Climate Change Position

Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry owned shares of multiple oil and gas corporations prior to joining the White House, ethics filings show.

John Kerry previously invested in Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, Duke Energy, Cimarex, Dominion Energy, Xcel Energy, Exelon Corporation, Valero Energy Corporation and WEC Energy Group, according to Office of Government Ethics filings obtained by Axios. Kerry reportedly sold off his entire stock portfolio, which was worth between $4.2 and $15 million, prior to joining President Joe Biden’s administration.

The Texas-based Valero Energy Corporation was recently ranked the fifth-worst emitter of greenhouse gasses despite having just 14 facilities, the San Antonio Current reported in December. The company was ordered to pay $2.85 million in a civil penalty in October for Clean Air Act violations, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, a billion-dollar fracking and natural gas company, has been cited for environmental damages. In 2014, a Pennsylvania court granted the company’s request to place a restraining order against an anti-fracking activist, The Guardian reported. Calls to Fire John Kerry Grow

President Joe Biden “should fire John Kerry” if the allegations against him — that he allegedly leaked information about covert Israeli military operations to Iran — prove to be true, according to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who made the remarks during a Tuesday appearance on the Mark Davis Show.

The Texas senator responded to reports of former U.S. Secretary of State and Biden Climate Czar John Kerry leaking information to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif about Israeli military operations in Syria.

“These allegations are deeply concerning, Iran’s foreign minister on tape alleged that Kerry told him that Israel carried out over 200 military strikes on Iranian forces in Syria,” Cruz said, describing it as “utterly disqualifying,” if true.

“If that is true, it is criminal. It is disclosing serious, sensitive, classified information about one of America’s closest allies, the nation of Israel” to a “dangerous enemy of America and enemy of Israel. The caveat, if it’s true, is important,” he added. . .

By WND. Iran’s foreign minister disclosed in leaked audio reported by the New York Times that John Kerry informed him that Israel engaged in more than 200 covert operations against Iran in Syria.

Mohammad Javad Zarif – who was Iran’s chief negotiator in the 2015 nuclear deal – claimed he received the intel while Kerry was serving as secretary of state, according to the report. Zarif said that at the time, the Revolutionary Guard Corps and supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei kept him in the dark about Iran’s government negotiations and military operations.

The Times reported, citing the audio, that Kerry’s disclosure shocked Zarif.

After widespread condemnation on Monday, Kerry denied the report. . .

On Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh confirmed the authenticity of the recording, explaining it was part of a seven-hour interview Zarif made for a think tank tied to the Iranian presidency. Khatibzadeh called the leak “illegal,” insisting it was “selectively” edited. But he said nothing about how it might have been released. John Kerry Isn’t the First Massachusetts Democrat Accused of Assisting an Enemy

By Breitbart. The news about John Kerry is startling. The former U.S. senator from Massachusetts and secretary of state, now President Joe Biden’s climate czar, is accused of leaking sensitive—possibly classified—information to an enemy power, Iran. . .

Back in 2010, investigative journalist Kevin Mooney recalled the sneakiness—some would call it treasonous—committed in the early 1980s by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) and a close friend, former Sen. John Tunney (D-CA).

Mooney’s article pieced together various earlier reports—including from a Russian defector, Vasiliy Mitrokhin, as verified by American scholars Herbert Romerstein and Paul Kengor—to summarize serious accusations against Kennedy and Tunney.

Back in 1983, Kennedy dispatched Tunney, whom a KGB spy memo described as Kennedy’s “close friend and trusted confidant,” to deliver a message to Moscow; the message was that the the Russians should work with Democrats, and not the Republican president at the time, Ronald Reagan, to advance the joint interests of Democrats and Russians.

Tunney explained that if the Soviet Union played ball with him, then American liberals in the media would repay the favor by showcasing favorable coverage of the communist empire and its leader, Yuri Andropov. John Kerry’s Possible Defense in Iran Leak Uproar Could Show He Undermined Trump

By Washington Examiner. A leaked recording of Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has prompted allegations that John Kerry gave classified information to Iran, but the former secretary of state’s most persuasive defense could depend on his willingness to explain whether he undercut former President Donald Trump’s “maximum pressure campaign” against Tehran.

Zarif’s statement that Kerry notified him about “more than 200 attacks on Iranian forces in Syria” strikes some Republican lawmakers as an indication that Kerry betrayed Israeli secrets. Other observers, including the London-based Persian outlet that first published the audio, think it more likely that Zarif is referring to comments made during meetings after Kerry left office, when the Israeli barrages were well known — and the new U.S. administration suspected that their Democratic critics were encouraging Iranian officials to defy Trump’s use of economic sanctions to pressure them to begin negotiating a stricter nuclear deal.

“This is an impetus, many of us have been waiting for, to press current senior officials to disclose as much detail as possible about their ongoing relationships with senior officials of the leading state sponsor of terrorism over the last four years,” said Richard Goldberg, one of Trump’s top Iran advisers. “How did these now-current officials of the U.S. government actively undermine the United States of America in front of a leading state sponsor of terrorism. That’s the outrage.”

The trajectory of the controversy could depend on the timing of Kerry’s conversations with Zarif, provided that the dialogue took place as the Iranian diplomat says. . .Iran International, a media outlet reviled by the regime in Tehran, published the audio but assessed that Kerry was referencing public information well after leaving office. ‘There’s No Room for B.S. Anymore’: John Kerry Gives World Just 9 Years

The world has only more nine more years to “avert the worst consequences” of the climate crisis, warned President Biden’s “climate envoy,” former senator and secretary of state John Kerry.

“[T]he scientists told us three years ago we had 12 years to avert the worst consequences of climate crisis. We are now three years gone, so we have nine years left,” he told CBS “This Morning” reporter Ben Tracy in an interview that aired Friday, reported Breitbart News.

“There’s no room for B.S. anymore,” Kerry said. “There’s no faking it on this one.”

Kerry’s warnings of a 2030 deadline for the planet is based on interpretations of a special report in 2018 by the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Guardian newspaper headlined its article on the report “We have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe, warns U.N.” But even the report’s supporters acknowledge it doesn’t say that. It concludes that if governments want to limit global warming to 1 degree Fahrenheit above today’s levels, they must reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about half by 2030 and to net zero by around midcentury. John Kerry Warns of Revolution in November If Trump Wins

Former Secretary of State John Kerry is using some dangerous rhetoric about the 2020 election. In a recent panel discussion for the Alliance of Democracies, he made the following statement:

“If people don’t have adequate access to the ballot, I mean that’s the stuff on which revolutions are built. If you begin to deny people the capacity of your democracy to work, even the Founding Fathers wrote in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, we have an inherent right to challenge that. And I’m worried that increasingly, people are disaffected.”

Kerry’s comments should not be construed as typical Democrat rhetoric about voter suppression in the current environment. Especially when Kerry’s remarks specifically accuse Republicans of suppressing votes by denying Democratic voters access to the ballot box.

He does not limit this accusation to the upcoming election. Instead, Kerry says this is why he and Al Gore lost their elections. Then he paints it as systemic by stating the pattern repeated itself recently in Georgia. No doubt, he is referring to failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ evidence-free claims of voter suppression in 2018.
