Former Republican Vice President Will Vote for Kamala Harris

Republican former Vice President Dick Cheney will vote for Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in the 2024 election, he said in a statement released Friday, shortly after his daughter, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, revealed his intentions.

“Dick Cheney will be voting for Kamala Harris,” the former Wyoming Republican lawmaker said during an event at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin.

“If you think about the moment we’re in, and you think about how serious this moment is, my dad believes — and he said publicly — there has never been an individual in our country who is as grave a threat to our democracy as Donald Trump is,” Liz Cheney added.

Dick Cheney, 83, has been an outspoken critic of Trump, and in his statement, he argued that the former president “can never be trusted with power again.”

“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” read the former vice president’s statement. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. Kamala Harris Insults Americans With Her Dishonest Flip-Flops

. . .Vice President Kamala Harris might be a woman without conviction, but she’s trying to get away with selling more than a few contradictions.

On Wednesday, Axios’ Alex Thompson reported on a “lengthy ‘fact-check’ ” forwarded by the Harris team to their allies in the press revising the unpopular policy positions she articulated just a few years ago.

Among the assertions made: Harris “does not support an electric vehicle mandate.”

. . .Back in 2019, Harris co-sponsored a bill that would have required automobile manufacturers to produce only electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles, completely phasing out the gas-powered ones that most Americans depend on by 2040.

Kamala Harris a Descendant of ‘Brutal’ Irish Slave Owner Who Was a ‘Seriously Bad Man’: Report

Kamala Harris’ Indian-Jamaican roots are again in the spotlight, but this time it is not her political rival Donald Trump sounding alarms. Radar Online exclusively reported that the Vice President is apparently the descendant of an Irish slave owner who was reportedly ‘brutal’ and a ‘seriously bad man.’ A British historian is said to have made the allegation.

From her maternal side, the US Democrat is half-Indian; her mother Shyamala Gopalan was born in Madras, India. She is also half-Jamaican from her father Donald Harris’ side. The reports of her Irish connection came after it was revealed that she was born in Brown’s Town on the Caribbean island—named after Hamilton Brown, the enslaver—who’s been cited as the great-great-great-great grandfather of Harris by the historian.

Donald, the VP’s father who is also a professor, wrote in an article published in the Jamaica Global Online, “My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown), a descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slaveowner and founder of Brown’s Town, a town in Jamaica.”

Tim Walz Ignores Question on How He and Harris Will Lower Prices (VIDEO)

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) ignored questions on how he and Vice President Kamala Harris will lower prices.

The clip, shared by Trump War Room, shows Walz sitting amongst a crowd of people. One person could be heard asking, “What’s your administration going to do about lowering prices?” adding, “Can you answer the question, please?”

Of course, Walz completely ignored the question — a move apparently backed by his handlers, as the video shows.

This moment comes as many Americans observe the stark reality that both Harris and Walz seem to refuse to answer questions that are not scripted. That aside, even when Harris was asked in her one and only sit-down interview since her coronation about Bidenomics and lowering prices, she largely deflected.

As Harris spoke about plans to lower prices, CNN’s Dana Bash asked, “So, you have been Vice President for three-and-a-half years. Harris and her Stolen Valor running mate Tim Walz have only spoken to CNN’s Dana Bash in a carefully scripted dumpster fire interview.

Harris avoided reporters as she departed Joint Base Andrews on Monday morning en route to Detroit, Michigan, to make a Labor Day campaign stop with union leaders. . .

Kamala Harris pretended to be on the phone as she rushed away from reporters. She’ll do anything to avoid answering questions.

VP Harris Goes Viral for New ‘Accent’ at Detroit Rally, Sparking Comparison to Iconic Cartoon (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris raised eyebrows during her Labor Day rally in Detroit, Michigan, unveiling what critics call a new “accent.”

Harris spent her Monday holiday in the Motor City hoping to shore up blue-collar union workers in the critical battleground state that she wants to keep blue in the November election.

“You better thank a union member for the five-day work week,” Harris told the crowd with a noticeable shift in her dialect. “You better thank a union member for sick leave. You better thank a union member for paid leave. You better thank a union member for vacation time.” . . .

“This is her seventh new accent in four weeks,” Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller reacted. “She has literally never used this accent before. She grew up in Canada. Phoniest politician in all of politics.”

“There are countless traits that I despise in humans, few as much as inauthenticity,” professor and podcast host Gad Saad wrote.

Latest Swing State Polls Suggest Trump Could Score Decisive Victory Against Kamala Harris

Fresh surveys from seven battleground states show a scenario where Donald Trump could win in November with a decisive 296 electoral votes.

Trafalgar, which polled between Aug. 28-30, sees Trump sweeping 44 electoral votes from the pivotal Blue Wall states in November, eking out narrow wins in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin inside the polls’ margins of error.

Insider Advantage handled polling in four other battlegrounds between Aug. 29-31, with Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina going to Trump.

To be sure, each of these states remains a statistical dead heat — meaning they could ultimately go either way come election day.

Harris Honeymoon Shows No Polling Boost After The Convention

Vice President Kamala Harris held onto her slight polling lead but failed to see a boost after the Democratic National Convention in August, according to an ABC News/Ipsos poll from Sunday.

Harris’ lead over former President Donald Trump has remained essentially unchanged at 50% support among registered voters while the Republican nominee brought in 46% support, according to the poll. However, voters still trust Trump over Harris to handle key issues like the economy and immigration going into November.

“The race between them remains close, with no overall bounce in support for Harris out of her nominating convention, albeit with a wider gender gap,” Gary Langer, president of Langer Research Associates, said in a statement. “Trump, too, was bounce-free after his convention in July, indicating the locked-in nature of their highly polarized contest as it enters its final two months.”

Harris is currently leading Trump nationally by 1.8 points according to RealClearPolling averages. Notably, President Joe Biden was leading Trump at this point in the race by over seven points in 2020 and former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton was leading by over four points.

Trump is favored over Harris to handle both the economy and inflation by eight points, according to the poll. Trump is also more trusted to handle immigration and the Israel-Hamas conflict by nine and seven points respectively. Kamala’s insanely stupid and cruel Saturday afternoon tweet accusing 13 Gold Star families of agreeing to act as props so Trump could politicize the death of their loved one was unquestionably the act of a desperate campaign panicking over internal poll numbers and hoping to change the narrative on the Sunday shows away from her disastrous CNN interview.

In the history of unforced presidential campaign errors, this one’s a doozy…

Kamala has bragged about being the “last one in the room” when the calamitous decision was made to surrender Afghanistan to terrorists before all of our people and billions of dollars in weaponry had been removed. Trump Releases Statement From Gold Star Families: Harris ‘Disgracefully Twisted’ Trump Cemetery Visit Into ‘Political Ploy’

By Breitbart. Former President Donald Trump released a statement from the Gold Star families of the 13 fallen United States service members who were killed during the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In a post on X, Trump shared a joint statement from Misty Fuoco, the sister of Marine Corps Sgt. Nicole Gee; Cheryl Juels, the aunt of Gee; Christy Shamblin, the mother-in-law of Gee; Mark Schmitz, the father of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz; Jaclyn Schmitz, the stepmother of Schmitz; Herman Lopez, the father of Marine Corps Cpl. Hunter Lopez; Jim McCollum, the father of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum; Steve Nikoui, the father of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui; Coral Doolittle, the mother of Marine Corps Cpl. Humberto Sanchez; Darin Hoover, the father of Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover; and Kelly Barnett, the mother of Hoover.

The families wrote in their joint statement that Vice President Kamala Harris’s statement labeling Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery to take part in a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the family’s lost loved ones and fallen servicemembers a “political stunt” was “false, hypocritical, and disrespectful.”

In the statement, the families added that Harris had “disgracefully twisted this sacred moment into a political ploy.”

“Today, Gold Star Families who lost their loved ones in the Harris-Biden Administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan released the following joint statement and heartfelt video messages in a direct response to Kamala Harris’ false, hypocritical, and disrespectful statement attacking President Trump,” the statement from the families began.

The Harris Campaign Appears to Selectively Bar Reporters From Campaign Coverage

The Harris-Walz campaign has continuously denied reporters and photographers from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette access to the campaign events, reportedly due to labor action within the company, according to an op-ed from Pittsburgh Post-Gazette editor Brandon McGinley.

Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz began their bus tour in the battleground state of Georgia, kicking off their outreach to voters following the Democratic National Convention (DNC). McGinley called out the Democratic campaign Saturday, claiming it has barred “Post-Gazette reporters from the veep announcement, from parts of the Democratic National Convention and (as of this writing) from all future events where they have the ability to control access.”

“It’s a form of political pandering at the expense of core democratic principles — exactly what the campaign claims to be fighting against in the Republican Party,” McGinley stated.

The barring from the campaign is reportedly connected to labor actions that began in October 2022, when a journalists’ strike erupted after a Teamsters unit, one of the largest labor unions in America, went on strike over the suspension of a legacy health care plan. McGinley stated that as negotiations have continued, the union interfered with the outlet’s reporting and allegedly persuaded Democratic officials and candidates to decline interviews with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“Denying access to disfavored press as a favor to political allies, however, just further institutionalizes the new normal, where the application of all principles depends on whether you’re a friend or an enemy. Today, the Harris-Walz campaign considers the Post-Gazette to be its enemy, and it denies us the rights accorded to others. Tomorrow, who’s next?” McGinley asked.
