WATCH: Harris Once Joked About Killing Trump, Pence, Sessions

Presumptive Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris joked in April 2018 about President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions perishing in an imagined elevator emergency.

During an appearance on “Ellen,” host Ellen DeGeneres asked the senator from California which of Trump, Pence or Sessions she would want to be stuck in an elevator with.

“Does one of us have to come out alive?” Harris asked in response, laughing for several seconds and eliciting cheers and chuckles from the studio audience. . .

In 2016, Biden himself was stumping for then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton when he told a crowd that he would “take [Trump] behind the gym” in response to the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump made lewd comments about women.

Kamala Harris Named by Joe Biden as His VP Pick

By NBC News. Joe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris, the prominent senator from California whose political career has included many barrier-breaking moments, as his running mate, his campaign announced on Tuesday.

The decision comes more than a year after Harris, who was also a 2020 Democratic candidate, clashed with Biden over racial issues during the first primary debate. If elected, she would be the nation’s first female, first Black and first Asian American vice president. . .

The announcement from Biden — which a campaign aide told NBC News came about 90 minutes after he called Harris to tell her — caps weeks of speculation and is Biden’s biggest decision to date as the presumptive Democratic nominee, a detail Biden himself noted in his announcement.

“You make a lot of important decisions as president. But the first one is who you select to be your Vice President. I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021,” Biden wrote in an email from his campaign to supporters. Trump Slams Kamala Harris After VP Pick, Claims ‘She Was My Number One Pick’

By Fox News. President Trump, in his first on-camera remarks about the new Biden-Harris ticket, said he was “a little surprised” that Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris to be his running mate given her “very poor” primary performance — but said she was his “number one pick” to face off against.

During a White House briefing Tuesday afternoon — shortly after Biden announced Harris as his VP nominee — Trump lashed out against the Democratic senator.

The president, referring to her failed 2020 presidential run, claimed he was most surprised by the pick because “she did very very poorly in primaries, she ended up right around two percent.” And he drew attention to her campaign attacks on Biden at the time.

“She was very disrespectful to Joe Biden. It’s hard to pick someone that was that disrespectful,” Trump said referring to a debate moment to Harris’ blitz against Biden in last summer’s primary debates. Flashback: Kamala Harris Said She Believed Biden’s Rape Accusers

By The Federalist. Kamala Harris, whom expected Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced Tuesday as his running mate, said last year that she believes the women who accused Biden of sexual assault.

“I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said in 2019. . .

After Reade’s accusations were publicized, Harris was criticized as a hypocrite for supporting Biden over Reade, especially after being quick to defend Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. When Harris chose to support Biden instead of Reade, she was already considered on the shortlist as a potential running mate for the Biden campaign.

‘GAME OVER,’ Trump Declares, as Old Bolton, Schiff Videos Surface; Nasty Kamala Sneaks Content From Trump’s Access Hollywood Tape Into Impeachment Trial

By Breitbart. Failed presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris used her occasion to ask a written question during the Senate impeachment trial on Wednesday to feature the old Access Hollywood video of President Donald Trump.

“President Nixon said, quote, ‘When the president does it that means that it is not illegal.’ End quote. Before he was elected, President Trump said, quote, ‘When you’re a star they let you do it, you can do anything,’ end quote,” the Harris note read.

That particular Trump quote was from the infamous Access Hollywood tape that was used by the Clinton campaign in an effort to turn voters against him ahead of the 2016 election. During the campaign, Trump apologized for the remarks in the video recorded in 2005, and he went on to win the presidential election in 2016. ‘GAME OVER,’ Trump Declares, as Old Bolton, Schiff Videos Surface Amid Senate Impeachment Trial

By Fox News. A string of newly resurfaced video clips of former national security adviser John Bolton spurred President Trump and his supporters Wednesday to highlight what they described as serious credibility questions — raised by both Democrats and Republicans — amid the Senate impeachment trial, as the president tweeted, “GAME OVER!”

In his tweet, Trump linked to an interview of Bolton in August 2019 where he discusses Ukraine policy. In the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty interview clip, Bolton made no mention of any illicit quid pro quo, and acknowledged, as Republicans have claimed, that combating “corruption” in Ukraine was a “high priority” for the Trump administration.

Bolton also called Trump’s communications with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “warm and cordial,” without mentioning any misconduct. It seemingly contradicted reported assertions in Bolton’s forthcoming book that Trump explicitly told him he wanted to tie military aid to Ukraine to an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden. (Zelensky has said his communications with Trump involved no pressure for any investigation.)

Lefties Become Hysterical Once They Realize the December Democratic Debate Will Be All White People; Kamala Harris Drops Out of 2020

The reason Harris’ campaign flopped is because she continually tried to go whichever way the wind blowed. She continually changed her positions while trying to pretend to be a “progressive prosecutor.” Even the leftist mainstream media outlets called her out for her record while she was the District Attorney in San Francisco. Kamala Harris Zings Trump After He Mocks Her 2020 Race Exit: ‘I’ll See You at Your Trial’

By Fox News. Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., swiped President Trump on Tuesday after he mocked her sudden exit from the 2020 campaign trail.

Trump, who in the past has expressed glee when would-be Democratic opponents exit the 2020 race, had some fun at Harris’ expense on Tuesday evening after his former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, tweeted about Harris leaving the race.

“Too bad. We will miss you Kamala Harris!” Trump tweeted.

Uh-Oh: Bloomberg Hires Former Campaign Staffer for Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris, who assured viewers at last week’s debate that she would be able to reunite the Obama coalition, continues to poll nationally in the low single digits. While much higher than the Native American percentage of Elizabeth Warrens’ DNA, it’s not quite enough to inspire hope and faith among your presidential campaign staff. As a result, the Harris campaign has been laying off staff members and relocating its focus to Iowa in hopes of pulling off a miracle there.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has officially entered the race. Bloomberg was flirting with the decision for weeks, leading many to speculate that he was waiting for the results of the election to come in before making a final decision.

This week, Bloomberg scooped up Kelly Mehlenbacker, a former operations campaign worker for Kamala Harris. It’s not a good look for your campaign staff to resign and go to work for the new competition. Mehlenbacker previously served as treasury manager in 2016 for the Hillary Clinton campaign, so she knows a thing or two about expensing payments for discredited dossiers the FBI can use to investigate the Trump campaign.

Billionaire Bloomberg can certainly pay Mehlenbacker a lot more money than Kamala Harris, too. Bloomberg literally owns the media. Bloomberg News editor-in-chief, whose name I would write but is too close to Mehlenbacker’s, recently sent a memo containing new rules for his reporters now that owner Michael Bloomberg has entered the race. The news agency will not investigate Michael Bloomberg or his foundation, so that hasn’t changed, but will immediately stop investigating the Democratic presidential candidates altogether in order to focus their resources on attacking President Trump. Sounds fair. Additionally, the editor-in-chief announced some of the members of Bloomberg News were leaving to work on the Bloomberg campaign. Kamala Has Another Dictator-Like Plan. This One Would Change Senate Procedures.

As the 2020 Democratic candidates continue to vie for the party’s nomination, one thing becomes more and more clear, especially about Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA): not only does she want to be president but she wants to be a dictator with the ultimate authority.

She wants to get rid of gun violence in America so she said she would give Congress 100 days to act before taking executive actions to implement “common sense” gun laws.

She wants to protect women’s rights to abortion so she’d require states to come before her Department of Justice to ask for permission to implement pro-life legislation.

Now, she wants to get rid of the filibuster to make sure the Green New Deal becomes a reality. She made that point very clear during Wednesday night’s climate change town hall on CNN.

“We need to work across the aisle, but I’m going to tell you, I’ve been there now two years and some months and I’m seeing no evidence of it. I’m seeing, I kid you not, in our United States Congress, I was part of a committee hearing during which the underlining premise of the hearing was to debate whether science should be the basis of public policy,” Harris explained. “This, on a matter that is an existentialS threat to who we are as human beings. So, again, back to the United States Congress, because here’s my point: if they fail to act, as president of the United States, I am prepared to get rid of the filibuster to pass a Green New Deal.” (Read more from “Kamala Has Another Dictator-Like Plan. Nursing Home Resident Takes Kamala Harris To Task Over Her Health Care Plan

California Senator Kamala Harris probably wasn’t expecting much of pushback at her campaigns stop in Iowa Monday. When the “Medicare for All” advocating leftist stopped at the Bickford Senior Living Center in Muscatine, one resident point-blank told the 2020 presidential contender to not mess with her health care and questioned how on Earth she planned to pay for it.

The video released by the GOP War Room shows that a woman calls Sen. Harris over, saying, ” Can I ask you a question?”

“I understand that you are advocating health care for everyone,” the unidentified woman says to Harris. . .

Senator Harris then defends her stance saying, “Well, we’re going to pay for it,” Harris replied. “Because right now, let me tell you something, we’re all paying for health care for everyone in emergency rooms.” . . .

Watch: CNN Host Gets Kamala Harris to Admit She’s Taking Away Your Employer-Provided Health Insurance

During an interview on CNN Thursday morning, presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was forced into admitting her health care proposal would strip Americans of their employer-provided health insurance plans.

“You said your opponents were lying, or weren’t being honest about [your new health care proposal],” CNN “New Day” co-host John Berman said to Harris. “The issue of your private insurance — one of the things that has been charged is that you will not be able to keep your private insurance. If we get insurance though CNN, if GM workers get insurance through GM — under your plan, they will not be able to keep that private insurance. Is that true?”

“My plan will separate your health care from your employer, meaning your employer will no longer dictate the kind of health care you receive,” Harris answered.

“Under my plan of Medicare-for-All,” she continued, “private insurance companies will be able to provide coverage if they play by our rules. Therefore, what that means is that you don’t have to be wed to your employer to keep the insurance that you like and that you need.” . . .

“No,” Berman shot back, “you’re basically allowing for a Medicare Advantage plan, where, insurers can enter that plan and they can choose it if they want to. But if you’re getting insurance from GM, from your employer, you will not get to keep that … It’s a private plan, not necessarily your private plan; there’s no guarantee that your private plan will be part of that [option].”

WATCH: Harris Makes Impossible Promise Not to Tax Middle Class to Pay for Socialist Health Care

Democratic presidential candidate and junior California Senator Kamala Harris wants voters to believe that she’ll be able to pay for her “Medicare for All” plan without raising taxes on the middle class. The problem is the numbers just don’t support her pledge.

In an interview with CNN’s Kyung Lah that aired Wednesday, Harris tried to avoid talking about how she’d pay for the socialist health care plan that she introduced alongside Bernie Sanders, but eventually said, “I mean, I’m not in support of middle class families paying more taxes for it.”

Later in the interview, Harris outright said that she believes “there are ways to pay for” her over $30 trillion-dollar proposal “without a middle class tax hike.”

She explained, “Part of it is going to have to be be about Wall Street paying more. It’s going to have to be about looking at what we tax in terms of financial services. That’s part of it. The other part of it is to understand that this is about an investment which will reap a great return on the investment. We can’t only look at this issue in terms of cost without thinking about benefit. The benefit to the American public will be that people will have access to health care that right now they cannot afford. And we are all paying a price for that.”

Here’s the problem with that. The health care plan put forward by Harris and fellow Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, Vt., would cost the federal government an additional estimated $32 trillion over 10 years. That’s $3.2 trillion per year on average.

Now, let’s talk about taxing the rich here. Just on the back of the napkin, that almost doubles the total operating cost of the whole federal government, which is already operating at an almost $1 trillion deficit for this year, according to the Treasury.

Also, in case anyone forgot, the United States is still over $22 trillion in debt, with no foreseeable correction to that in sight. And, as I pointed out at the introduction of President Trump’s most recent budget request, we can’t even address the debt problem by taxation alone, much less take on a massive new health care program.

Here’s why: According to numbers from October, the 585 billionaires in the U.S. have a combined net worth of about 3.1 trillion (less than a year of Medicare for All). And even if some socialist scion were to seize control and tax those billionaires for literally everything they were worth, we’d have enough revenue to make about a 14 percent dent in the national debt or fully fund a 4.75 trillion federal budget for 237.4 days (just under eight months).

It’s also important to keep in mind that 37.3 percent of the total tax burden is already carried by the top 1 percent of earners.

Taxing Wall Street sounds like an easy place to put the cost burden, and the suggestion makes for a good sound bite, but the “speculation tax” proposed by Bernie Sanders earlier this year would only raise $600 billion over a decade, according to estimates. It would have to be about 50 times as burdensome to cover a $32 trillion bill over the same time period.

There is, however, one other option to pay for socialist health care without putting the burden on the middle class taxpayers it supposedly seeks to help: Blow up the national debt and force our grandchildren to deal with the cost of yet another federal boondoggle.

Kamala’s Peak Hypocrisy Centers Around Jeffrey Epstein

By Townhall. California Sen. Kamala Harris (D) chided Kirkland and Ellis, a Chicago-based law firm, that represented Jeffrey Epstein when he was accused of sexual abuse.

Here’s the kicker: the same day Harris went after the law firm, her husband, Douglas Emhoff, headlined a fundraiser in Chicago for his wife’s campaign. And guess who the main hosts were? That’s right. The six partners of Kirkland and Ellis.

Harris Blasts, and Takes Money From, Epstein’s Law Firm

By AP. . .Harris, a California senator and Democratic presidential candidate, was one of several White House hopefuls to blast the handling of Epstein’s case in Florida a decade ago, when his lawyers negotiated a deal with federal prosecutors that allowed him to avoid the possibility of years in prison. But her decision to move ahead with the fundraiser hosted by Kirkland and Ellis partners while criticizing the firm underscores the tension that can arise when a politician’s rhetoric collides with his or her need to raise money to sustain a presidential campaign.

“If any connection with Kirkland and Ellis is a stain on (senior Justice Department officials), why isn’t a connection with the law firm for the receipt of campaign contributions a stain on her own campaign?” said Paul S.
