Graham: Senate Should Punish China ‘Severely’ for Causing Pandemic; WHO Head Cries Racism to Cover for His Enabling of China’s Lies About Coronavirus

By Breitbart. Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the Chinese government is to blame for the coronavirus pandemic, which caused American deaths and record unemployment.

Graham said, “The first thing I want to do is get the United States Senate on the record where we, we don’t blame Trump, we blame China. The Chinese government is responsible for 16,000 American deaths and 17 million Americans being unemployed. It’s the Chinese government and the way they behave that led to this pandemic. This is the third one to come out of China. I want to make our response to this so overwhelming that China will change its behavior.” (Read more from “Graham: Senate Should Punish China ‘Severely’ for Causing Pandemic” HERE)

WHO Head Cries Racism to Cover for His Enabling of China’s Lies About Coronavirus

By New York Post. In answer to global complaints that he helped China lie about the coronavirus threat in the crucial early days of the pandemic, the World Health Organization’s top dog has opted to play the race card.

That’s right: WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is complaining that Taiwan is fostering supposedly racist attacks against him, and even death threats.

But he can’t even offer details beyond saying he’s been called names, “black or negro.”

In reality, the whole world has legitimate gripes about TAG’s blatant and loathsome loyalty to Beijing — apparent payback for China’s role in installing him as WHO’s boss.

All through January, Tedros and his minions vouched for Chinese authorities’ lies about the coronavirus, misleading other nations’ health authorities into underestimating the threat. (Read more from “Who Head Cries Racism to Cover for His Enabling of China’s Lies About Coronavirus” HERE)

Alleged 2016 Election Interference: Senator Calls for Investigation Into Biden Ukraine-Connection (VIDEO)

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called on Sunday for the Department of Justice to investigate “all things Ukraine” after a scandal involving Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden has made national news in recent days.

The Republican appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo where he called for the DOJ to investigate the Biden-Ukraine connection the same way that the DOJ investigated the Trump-Russia connection.

“Joe Biden said everybody’s looked at this and found nothing,” Graham said. “Who is everybody? Nobody’s looked at the Ukraine and the Bidens. Nobody’s looked at the role the Ukraine played in the 2016 election.”

“Do you think the media in America would really look at it and report on it if there was something bad for the Bidens or are they unduly interfered in the 2016 election?” Graham continued. “I’m calling for somebody in the Justice Department to look at all things Ukraine. We have looked at all things Russia and Trump, his family, everything about his family, every transaction between the Trump campaign and Russia.” Graham said.

“Now it’s time to see whether or not the Ukrainians released information regarding Manafort, who was Trump’s campaign manager. What relationships, if any, did the Biden world have to the Ukraine,” Graham continued. “What role, if any, did the Ukraine play in the 2016 election? So nobody’s looked at this, but somebody should. So I’m hoping the Department of Justice will look at the Biden-Ukraine connection like we looked at the Trump-Russia connection.”

Lindsey Graham Chimes in on Declassifying Russia Probe Document and Dems Won’t Like What He Has to Say

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace he believes the former intelligence officials that oppose the declassification of documents relating to the Russia probe “are worried about being exposed.”

“I was one of the Republicans insisting that [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller be allowed to do his job. I never thought it was a witch hunt. The Mueller report is in. No collusion,” Graham said. “You know Mueller didn’t do anything on obstruction. Now I’m insisting that we get to the bottom of this, all of the documents around the FISA warrant application released.

“I want to find out exactly how the counterintelligence operation began,” Graham said. “I think transparency is good for the American people. Not one Democrat seems to care,” Graham said. “I wish some Democrat would come forward to find out if the FISA court was defrauded by the FBI and the Department of Justice.” . . .

“Critics make two points, particularly about this issue of declassifying because these are, after all, the crown jewels of the intelligence community, including, reportedly, the identity of a key informant who was close to Vladimir Putin,” Wallace said. “Here are the two questions they raise: one, can Barr be trusted with these secrets and two, can he be trusted not to cherrypick the information to make a case for the president?”

Graham’s ‘Solution’ to the Border Wall Funding Is Sure to Find Objections From Conservatives

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) believes he has a solution to the border wall funding fiasco that resulted in a shutdown of the federal government. He proposes giving President Donald Trump the $5 billion he’s asked for to build the wall along the southern border. In exchange, DREAMers would be given legal status, something Democrats have been pushing for. He detailed his solution on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.

“The one thing I know for sure is nothing will get out of the Senate without wall/border funding and Democrats are not going to give us money for a wall/border security without getting something themselves,” Graham explained. “So here’s what I think might work: $5 billion for wall/border security – Democrats have voted for more than that in the past – married up with the BRIDGE Act, which Sen. Durbin and I wrote, a three year, one-time renewable work permit for the DACA population, about 700,000.”

Graham also said those living in the U.S. under Temporary Protected Status (TPS), like those fleeing civil war or hurricane wreckage, could also receive temporary, renewable status to stay in the United States. . .

Here’s the thing though: conservatives are tired of continually compromising on illegal immigration, especially when it comes to DREAMers. We continually go through this immigration fight and what always happens? We allow some kind of amnesty to take place, although Republicans are very careful not to use that word. In exchange for receiving border wall funding we have to make exceptions that allow people who are already here to stay. Senator Makes a Suggestion for Ocasio-Cortez After She Defends Caravan

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), fresh off her underdog congressional win in New York, is quickly distancing herself from the Trump White House. While the president is sending troops down to the U.S.-Mexico border to prevent the 7,500-strong migrant caravan from entering the U.S., Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Sunday that we have nothing to fear from these individuals who are simply seeking asylum.

. . .

Graham followed up that suggestion with a list of reasons why he would not stand for the migrant caravan, including messages like this:

“Americans want an immigration policy which we control, not one where illegal immigrants control us. We are a nation of immigrants. We are also a kind and generous people. But Americans will not be played for fools.”

Graham reminded his followers that he’s worked to fix America’s immigration system for over a decade, so he may know a thing or two about what will or won’t work. He reached out to Democrats, many of whom he knows have hearts of compassion, entreating them to work with Republicans on first securing the border.

Still, Ocasio-Cortez and others have criticized border patrol agents for using aggressive tactics like pepper spray and tear gas to repel migrants from the U.S. border. Some of those rushing toward the border, however, hurled rocks at those agents, making the pepper spray “absolutely” the right decision, according to the Border Patrol Foundation. Lindsey Grahamnesty Is Back With a DACA Deal Republicans Would Be Fools to Take

Well, so much for hoping Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., had finally resolved to stop making deals with devils. There was a hope that Graham was moved by the Democrats’ despicable character assassination of Brett Kavanaugh to realize that the cabal of leftists is irredeemably power-hungry and cannot be trusted. But no, Lindsey “Grahamnesty” is back in action, urging President Trump and other Republicans to strike a deal with Democrats on DACA amnesty in exchange for wall funding.

Graham made his pitch on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning when asked about a plan from House GOP leadership to introduce a stand-alone bill to supposedly fully fund the border wall.

“DACA, remember that? 690,000 kids brought here on the average age of 6, no place else to go. Trump’s going to win in court; he can repeal DACA. The day he wins in court, what do we do with these young people? So I’d like to do a deal,” Graham said. “Full wall funding for DACA.”

Fox host Brian Kilmeade asked if there would be additional reforms like ending chain migration, to which Graham cut in, “Nope, keep it simple.” Translation: Congress should punt on needed immigration reforms, so-called “poison pills” that Democrats would object to.

Only a fool would take that deal, and here’s why:

The problem with any compromise of border security for amnesty is that border security must come first. The flow of illegal immigration must halt before you can have a discussion about what to do with nonviolent illegal aliens already in the United States. Democrats will not accept a deal that delays DACA amnesty until a wall is constructed and the border made secure, and the media will pressure the government to take immediate action to end the uncertainty facing so-called “Dreamers.” But Congress’ actions are not binding on a future Congress. After DACA amnesty is codified, a future Congress could impose new requirements on wall construction, from environmental impact studies to material requirements that have the effect of delaying construction indefinitely. Opponents of a border wall will use their imaginations, and the border will remain unsecured indefinitely.

Another problem is that DACA amnesty will not be limited to the 690,000 people Graham assumes it would be. The Trump administration already offered the Democrats a deal to give DACA amnesty to at least 1.8 million illegal aliens, with a path to U.S. citizenship. When Trump made that concession to the Democrats, conservatives warned that it would be used as the baseline for any future DACA deal. Nothing has changed. Democrats will demand the bare minimum of amnesty for nearly two million illegals, since that was what was promised before, all the while labeling Trump and the GOP racists throughout negotiations.

Further, DACA is a slippery slope. If Republicans concede that nonviolent illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children should not be deported, then how will they argue that their parents should be? How can you deport the parents and adult relatives of U.S. citizens? The media and the Democrats will attack the government for separating families. All the same DACA arguments will be deployed in favor of amnesty and citizenship for all illegal aliens. Meanwhile, chain migration, unaccompanied children, E-verify, and catch-and-release policies will remain unaddressed by the compromise Graham wants.

Then there is the problem with the courts. Let’s suppose conditional amnesty is granted. If an illegal alien violates the terms of the amnesty, deportation proceedings will have to move through court. When you’re legalizing at least 1.8 million people, deportations will grind to a halt as every legalized individual will have the standing to present his or her case in a court system that is already overloaded with cases.

Full funding for the border wall is not worth what Lindsey Graham is asking for conservatives to concede in this compromise.

But prepare yourselves, because this deal is exactly where Republicans are headed. Republican House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s stand-alone wall funding bill cannot pass through Congress. How do we know? Because Congress is in recess, and without attaching it to a must-pass government funding bill, there is no pressure to move wall funding through the 60-vote threshold in the U.S. Senate, assuming it could even pass the House, which is no guarantee thanks to several liberal Republicans. If the Democrats take control of the House of Representatives, which is likely, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has promised to take up “a bill that protects Dreamers.” So Democrats will be demanding DACA amnesty. Republicans will keep control of the Senate and demand wall funding. And President Trump will be eager to make a deal.

So Graham is preparing the way for this DACA-for-wall-funding deal because that’s what’s most likely to happen. But it’s a bad deal, one conservatives and Trump supporters should loudly oppose now, before it’s too late. Lindsey Graham to Trump: Pulling Troops out of Afghanistan Could Cause Another 9/11

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Friday warned President Donald Trump that pulling troops out of Afghanistan could mean another September 11th attack on American turf . . .

“If we were to pull all our troops from Afghanistan it would be a disaster for our national security interests and set the stage for another 9/11 on American soil,” the senator said in a statement.

Trump and his national security team are currently meeting in Maryland to discuss the possibility of sending thousands of additional U.S. and NATO troops to Afghanistan, the Washington Examiner reported. The president, however, has been on the fence about providing more boots on the ground. (Read more from “Lindsey Graham to Trump: Pulling Troops out of Afghanistan Could Cause Another 9/11” HERE)

Senator Lindsey Graham: As President I Would Use the Military against Congress

Folks, what can I say? The words of South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham are not only chilling, they are tyrannical. Graham, speaking to a group of people gathered in New Hampsire, said that if he were president of the United States, he would not allow Congress to leave Congress until his demands were met and he would use the US military to ensure they could not leave town, a clear usurpation of power by the executive branch.

Keep in mind that this is the same Lindsey Graham I addressed nearly two Saturdays ago about his corruption, has said that alleged “terrorists,” who are American citizens, would not be provided an attorney, something protected under the Constitution, and said that Barack Obama loves America and is a patriot.

In a speech at the Concord City Republican Committee on March 7, 2015, he continued to advance the idea that we need to send more of America’s men on the ground to defeat ISIS, a group that he deemed worth of funding and training when they were in Syria. He also pushed to reverse the cuts to defense spending.

However, it was his statement that he would use the US military to make sure that members of Congress could not leave until his demands were met that has drawn attention.

“Here is the first thing I would do if I were President of the United States, I wouldn’t let Congress leave town until we fix this,” Graham said. “I would literally use the military to keep them in if I had to.” (Read more from “Lindsey Graham: As President I Would Use the Military against Congress” HERE)

Sen. Lindsey Graham said President Barack Obama ignored the threat the terror group ISIS poses to the United States during a Thursday press conference when he declared the crisis was over for Yazidis trapped on a stiflingly hot mountaintop in Iraq.

“We broke the [ISIS] siege of Mount Sinjar,” Obama told reporters. “We helped vulnerable people reach safety, and we helped save many innocent lives.”

The Yazidis are a religious minority that have been targeted by Islamic militant group ISIS, which demands they convert to Islam or be killed.

The United Nations disagreed that the crisis is over, saying in its own press conference Thursday that thousands more Yazidis are still stranded on Mount Sinjar and need assistance.

Lindsey Graham Hopes ‘We Don’t Lose Alaska’

Photo Credit: Getty ImagesFirst Ukraine, then the Bering Strait?

Sen. Lindsey Graham joked Monday that the U.S. might need to watch out for Russian President Vladimir Putin on our own turf if things continue.

“I just hope we don’t lose Alaska. The more [President Barack] Obama talks to Putin the worse we do,” the South Carolina Republican cracked on “Kilmeade and Friends” on Fox News Radio.

Appearing on the show with his frequent partner in foreign policy, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Graham said the situation in Ukraine is a “defining moment” for Obama and he needs to rally Europe to stand up to Putin.
