Pro-Abortion Rioters Maim LA Cops

Rioters in Los Angeles attacked police officers Tuesday night, injuring at least two, in the wake of Politico‘s report indicating the Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade.

Police attempted to disperse a group of pro-abortion protesters when they tried to occupy an intersection, LAPD chief Michel Moore said. At that point, some began to throw rocks and bottles at officers, two of whom were injured in the attack. . .

Members of the crowd engaged in several acts of vandalism Tuesday night, according to CBS Los Angeles. Rioters smashed the front window of a Planet Fitness gym, graffitied the city hall building, and shattered the window of a Homeland Security vehicle that responded to the protest. DA Asks Credit Card Companies to Halt Gun Kit Purchases

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón is asking three major credit card companies not to approve payments for gun kits purchased online.

Gascón is tying the purchase of gun parts kits to the construction of “ghost guns.”

Gascón released a statement Tuesday, the Pasadena Star News reported, which said:

American Express, Mastercard and Visa have the ability to go beyond what any law enforcement agency, legislature or city council can accomplish. We are asking these companies to join us in stemming the flow of ghost guns into our communities by preventing a ghost gun kit from being sold with a few mere clicks on a smartphone or computer.

There’s Another Looting Crisis in LA Being Ignored by Democrats (VIDEO)

. . .Ritzy shopping centers such as The Grove in Los Angeles put up razor wire barricades in an attempt to dissuade would-be robbers from cleaning out merchandise. In all of these dystopian scenes, little if any punishment was ever handed down. Apparently thieves weren’t content to stick with hitting high-end consumer outlets, though, and now they’ve spent months ransacking trains as they pass through Los Angeles.

Even as the powers that be in Los Angeles ignore the latest fad in illegal procurement of goods just as they did the smash and grabs, the videos from LA’s railroad tracks speak for themselves:

It’s pure insanity, but it’s become par for the course in many liberal enclaves. Angelenos wondering why their amazon package or Wuhan coronavirus test never arrived should probably just start sifting through the packages strewn around on the train tracks — and there are thousands of them in just this one area documented in the tweets above. Police Searching for N95 Mask-Wearing Man for Alleged Stabbing

A 24-year-old woman was killed in the 300 block of North La Brea Avenue in Hancock Park Thursday afternoon, police said.

The woman, identified by the Los Angeles Police Department at the scene as Brianna Kupfer, died at the scene of the fatal assault.

A LinkedIn profile for Kupfer identifies her as a design consultant for Croft House, a furniture business located on that block.

Lopez did not provide any suspect information, but surveillance video shows what appears to be a tall, slender man wearing black clothes and a white N95 mask walking away from the scene.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Won’t Enforce Vaccine Mandate

The Los Angeles County sheriff says he will not enforce the county’s vaccine mandate in his agency.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who oversees the largest sheriff’s department in the county with roughly 18,000 employees, said Thursday in a Facebook Live event that he does not plan to carry out the county’s mandate, under which Los Angeles County employees had to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 1.

The mandate was issued by executive order in August and allows only for religious and medical exemptions. Villanueva said his employees are willing to be terminated rather than get vaccinated.

Refund the Police: Dem Mayor Requests More Police Funding Over High Crime, Officer Shortage

. . .Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (D) is proposing to increase the budget of the Los Angeles Police Department amid skyrocketing violent crime and increased vacancies within the department.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Garcetti is proposing a 3% increase to the LAPD budget from $1.71 billion to $1.76 billion. . .

More from the Times:

The mayor’s plan, which covers the fiscal year starting July 1, would continue to provide a force of about 9,750 sworn police officers. The number of officers at the department now is lower, however, because of retirements and resignations. The LAPD is expected to have 9,489 officers on June 30. […]

A Garcetti aide said at a briefing Tuesday morning that the decision to keep the LAPD budget mostly the same was in part a response to rising crime. Hours later, Garcetti said the city needs to continue to keep hiring officers to keep up with retirements.

Disturbing Video Shows Young Girls on Stage Collecting Cash At California Drag-Queen Show

A viral video posted Monday on Twitter shows two young girls strutting on stage and receiving cash from the audience at a drag-queen show in Los Angeles.

In the video, a Twitter user who goes by Lindsay noted live from the scene that it was taking place at 11:40 p.m.

“Why in the hell do these people got these f***ing little-bitty a** kids at this f***ing drag show?” she asks.

“It is 11:40 at night – these people have children in a f***ing drag show in L.A..”

Two Men Reportedly Charged With Voter Fraud After Forging 8,000 Voter Registration Applications

Los Angeles County authorities announced Tuesday a 41-count criminal complaint against two men, including one running for mayor, for allegedly submitting thousands of fraudulent voter registration applications.

Carlos Antonio DeBourbon Montenegro and Marcus Raul Arvelo allegedly submitted over 8,000 registration applications on behalf of homeless people over a 4-month period, the New York Post reported. Montenegro also faces perjury charges for forging voter information on his own paperwork to get on the ballot.

The men reportedly registered the voters then allegedly used Montenegro’s home address and 3 post office boxes to collect their mail-in ballots and paperwork, according to the Post.

Montenegro failed to meet the required number of signatures to make the ballot, according to the Daily Breeze. A warrant was filed Nov. 12, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Protesters Show up Shouting at Hospital Treating Severely Wounded Cops: ‘Death to the Police’ (VIDEO)

Protesters reportedly shouting slogans like “Death to the police!” showed up to the Los Angeles area hospital treating two law enforcement officers who were ambushed and shot on Saturday.

“To the protesters blocking the entrance [and] exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling ‘We hope they die’ referring to 2 LA Sheriff’s ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES [AND] EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. People’s lives are at stake when ambulances can’t get through,” the LA County Sheriff’s Department wrote on Twitter early Sunday morning.

A local faith leader who was at the hospital told a KABC reporter that the protesters tried to get into the emergency room.

“They were saying ‘Death to the police’ and ‘Kill the police,’ and these are sheriffs, but the message is still the same. They were using all types of curse words and derogatory terms,” he told KABC. “Unacceptable behavior, because a hospital should be a sanctuary.”

Video posted online showed protesters being prevented from walking farther onto hospital grounds and arguing with hospital security over whether the hospital is public or private property.

Report: Councilman Who Voted to Defund Police Called Cops to Home 8 Times Since April

A Los Angeles councilman who voted to cut the city’s police budget by $150 million allegedly called police to his home several times since April.

Fox 11 reporter Bill Melugin tweeted a link Friday to a public information records request that reportedly showed Councilman Mike Bonin “called LAPD to his home 8 times since 4/4/20, including to provide extra patrols and protection from peaceful protesters at his house”:
