Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Testy Exchange Caught on Camera

A testy exchange between Representative Lauren Boebert, a Colorado Republican, and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, was caught on camera during the tense penultimate House speaker vote on Friday night.

C-SPAN cameras focused in on Boebert as she appeared to have an exchange with Greene during the 14th round of voting to see if Kevin McCarthy, a California Republican, would be elected as House speaker.

In the clip that was shared to Twitter on Saturday, Greene could be seen reaching out to Bobert before the Colorado Republican looked down and appeared to mouth something before redirecting her eyes back in front of her.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Permanently Suspended Twitter Account Has Been Restored

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal Twitter account has been reinstated, a move that comes as the social media platform restores various accounts following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company.

“I’m the only Member of Congress the unelected big tech oligarchs permanently banned. On January 2, 2022, they violated my freedom of speech and ability to campaign & fundraise crying ‘covid misinformation.’ My account is back. Go follow @mtgreenee for MTG unfiltered ;),” the Georgia Republican tweeted from her @RepMTG account, which had remained operational in the wake of the permanent suspension of the other account.

Twitter permanently suspended Greene’s @mtgreenee account in January, claiming that the account had run afoul of the company’s policies pertaining to COVID-19 misinformation.

“We permanently suspended the account … (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy,” a Twitter spokesperson noted, according to reports at the time. “We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.” (Read more from “Rep. House Republicans Introduce Legislation Auditing Ukraine Spending

A group of House Republicans, led by Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, has introduced legislation to audit funds appropriated by Congress to Ukraine, the Daily Caller has learned.

The House Resolution by Rep. Greene obtained by the Daily Caller is co-sponsored by GOP Reps. Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Thomas Massie, Andy Biggs, Barry Moore, Matt Rosendale, Andrew Clyde, Dan Bishop, Greg Steube and Clay Higgins. Republican Lawmakers are requesting that all documents and communications pertaining to Ukraine funding be sent no later than 14 days after the adoption of the resolution. The request covers all military, civilian and financial aid given to Ukraine under President Biden.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Husband Files for Divorce

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband has filed for divorce from the conservative firebrand, she confirmed Wednesday.

“Marriage is a wonderful thing and I’m a firm believer in it,” Greene told The Post in a statement. “Our society is formed by a husband and wife creating a family to nurture and protect. Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three great kids. He gave me the best job title you can ever earn: Mom.”

“I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children,” she added.

The Georgia House representative’s husband, Perry Greene, filed for divorce Tuesday after 27 years of marriage, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) defended Alex Jones at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, the same day he was ordered to pay $45.2 million in punitive damages to the parents of a victim of the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Greene, who has been suspended from Twitter, claimed social media companies are trying to silence those on the Right, citing Jones as evidence of Big Tech’s ideological crackdown.

“Somebody like Alex Jones, who did say some things but yet he is being politically persecuted right now and being forced to pay out millions and millions of dollars, and no one agrees with what he said, but what we’re tired of is the political persecution,” she said during an onstage interview.

Greene asked when she and others who have been “canceled” on social media will be paid millions of dollars.

The damages, which were announced after Greene’s comments, may be reduced by the judge and follow the jury awarding the parents of 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, who died during the shooting, $4.1 million in compensatory damages from Jones. The parents said they faced death threats and other harassment tied to Jones’s claims that the shooting was a hoax, comments he later retracted. Marjorie Taylor Greene Slams Senate Republicans After Gun Agreement Reached

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, took aim at GOP senators after a bipartisan agreement on gun reform legislation was announced on Sunday.

Ten Senate Republicans along with 10 Senate Democrats negotiated and agreed to bipartisan legislation that would be the most significant effort by Congress to address the national issue of mass shootings and gun violence in years. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, and President Joe Biden welcomed the deal, which would be expected to pass if all 10 Republicans ultimately vote in favor.

Hours after the news broke, Greene took to Twitter to attack Senate Republicans, apparently over their willingness to work with Democrats to pass legislation.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Goes off on Lindsey Graham for Pledging to Vote on Gun Reform: Helping Biden Pass His ‘Communist Agenda’

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) went on a lengthy tear against Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) by accusing him of helping President Joe Biden’s “communist agenda” for gun control.

Greene went after Graham in a recent broadcast of her “MTG Live” podcast, accusing him of taking an anti-Second Amendment stance in the aftermath of the Buffalo, Uvalde and Tulsa shootings. Greene’s criticism of Graham gravitated around a series of tweets he posted after Biden’s call for action on gun reform.

“I stand ready to vote on ALL the proposals mentioned by President Biden tonight and encourage the Democratic Leader to bring them forward for votes,” Graham said. “I also stand ready to work across the aisle to find common ground – something that was absent from President Biden’s address to the nation.” . . .

“He wants to make sure that your tax dollars are helping people in Ukraine to defend themselves,” Greene scoffed, “but he stands ready to vote for ‘ALL’ of Biden’s gun control bills. He’s ready to go.”

Greene continued to paint Graham as a Biden minion by railing at the senator for approving the president’s government job appointees “so they can radically destroy the United States of America.” After blaming red flag gun laws for a lockdown situation she experienced years ago over a potential school shooting, Greene continued to slam Graham by accusing him of helping to “violate due process” and take guns away from lawful owners. Federal Judge Allows Georgia Voters to Challenge Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Candidacy for Re-Election Under Fourteenth Amendment’s Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause

A federal judge in Atlanta today denied Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s attempt to block a challenge, brought by Georgia voters, to her candidacy under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, otherwise known as the Insurrectionist Disqualifications Clause. US District Judge Amy Totenberg ruled against Rep. Greene’s motion for a preliminary injunction to stop the challenge from proceeding this week before a state administrative law judge.

The ruling is in marked contrast to a March 4 ruling by a federal judge in North Carolina, who ruled that an 1872 law which gave amnesty to ex-Confederates provided amnesty as well to all future insurrectionists, effectively nullifying Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment and blocking a similar challenge brought by North Carolina voters to Representative Madison Cawthorn’s candidacy for re-election. Last Thursday, the US Court of Appeals granted the North Carolina voters an expedited schedule for hearing their appeal of that ruling, with oral argument scheduled for May 3, 2022.

As a result of Judge Totenberg’s ruling, the Georgia voters will have their challenge against Rep. Greene heard before a state administrative law judge in Atlanta, with a hearing currently scheduled for Friday, April 22, at 9:30 am, at the Office of State Administrative Hearings, 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 400, South Tower, in Atlanta. The Georgia voters, through their counsel, have issued a subpoena for Rep. Greene to appear at that hearing and testify under oath.

The voters are represented by Free Speech For People, a nonpartisan, non-profit legal advocacy organization with leading constitutional law experts, which is serving as co-lead counsel in the matter, along with New York-based Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Abady Ward & Maazel LLP. Bryan Sells, an Atlanta-based civil rights lawyer specializing in voting rights and election law, is serving as local counsel. Free Speech For People also serves as co-lead counsel in the challenge to Rep. Cawthorn’s eligibility to appear on the 2022 ballot, and in similar challenges filed last week in Arizona against Rep.
