School District’s ‘Anti-Racism’ Teaching Starts In Kindergarten, Documents Show

Maryland’s largest school district is promoting a so-called “anti-racism” curriculum for kids focused on “white supremacy” and racial and gender identity, according to internal documents.

Newly revealed training materials from Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) detail the “Characteristics of Anti-bias/Antiracist Curriculum” and instruct teachers to focus on topics of injustice, racism, oppression, implicit biases and inequity, parental rights watchdog Defending Education (DE) shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. The documents were originally discovered by parent group United Against Racism in Education.

The curriculum was reportedly discussed at a PTA meeting on Jan. 20, 2026, according to DE.

“Schools should be the place where students can analyze the forces which maintain injustice and develop the knowledge, hope and strategies needed to create a more just society for all,” the “Culturally Responsive & Antiracist Teaching Framework for Social Studies” document states as a teacher’s desired classroom outcome, citing anti-racist writer and consultant Enid Lee.

Classes should focus on examining “systems of power and oppression created by white supremacy” and challenge the “Master Narrative, which is a focus on white, Eurocentric versions of history,” the documents state, according to DE. Man Arrested for Carrying ‘Ghost Gun’ to Capitol Hill

Charges have been filed against a Maryland man who tried to bring a “ghost gun” into an office of the House of Representatives last Tuesday.

Thirty-five year old Jason White allegedly attempted to bring the gun into the Cannon House Office Building on June 24, just after 8:30 am. White had placed his bag through a metal detector at the building’s security checkpoint when the firearm was detected, according to police. White told police that he had forgotten the gun was in his bag, according to CBS.

“There was no serial number present anywhere on the firearm,” according to an affidavit shared with CBS News. All guns manufactured in the United States or imported into the states are required to have serial numbers that are typically on the back of the firearm’s frame. Christian Family Says School District Won’t Allow Daughter to Graduate Over LGBTQ Health Class

A star student at a Maryland high school is being denied graduation next month due to what her family says is religious discrimination.

The student, whom Fox News Digital is calling “Jane” to protect her privacy, is a senior in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), who excels academically and is actively involved in her school. According to her parents and academic records, she is a leader in multiple extracurricular activities at her school, holds a 4.76 weighted GPA and received a 1450 (96th percentile) on her SATs.

However, she cannot graduate without completing a mandatory health course, which her parents say has “LGBTQ+ affirming” and “religiously discriminatory” content they find objectionable due to their deeply held Christian faith.

Jane’s family told Fox News Digital that they have been fighting for over two years for their daughter to be granted an opt-out from the course or be allowed to take an alternative class at a private school or do independent study under a teacher of their choosing to meet this requirement, to no avail.

GUILTY: Illegal Alien Could Face Life in Prison for Murder of Maryland Mother

A Maryland jury has found an illegal alien guilty of murdering Rachel Morin, a mother of five.

Victor Martinez-Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree rape, third-degree sexual offense, and kidnapping in Morin’s case. The jury found Martinez-Hernandez guilty on all four counts.

In August 2023, Morin went missing after leaving home to exercise on the MA & PA Heritage Trail in Bel Air, Maryland, about 30 miles northeast of Baltimore. Authorities found her body off the trail in a culvert on Aug. 6.

After a lengthy investigation, authorities tracked Martinez-Hernandez to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he was arrested in June 2024 as the lead suspect in Morin’s killing.

Illegal Alien, Freed by Biden Administration, Charged With Murdering 19-Year-Old

The tragic death of 19-year-old Adam Luker in a drunk driving crash has brought attention to the case of Antonio Antonio Rodas, a 29-year-old illegal alien accused of causing the fatal collision in Mobile County, Alabama.

Rodas was arrested on May 8 and charged with murdering Luker after a horrifying incident on April 28. Prosecutors allege that Rodas was driving under the influence, three times over the legal limit, and speeding at 88 mph when he ran a red light, crashing into Luker’s vehicle as he turned at an intersection with a green light.

More than a week later, Luker succumbed to his injuries on May 6. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Luker’s grieving family. Luker, a graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School in May 2023, had his life tragically cut short.

At the crash site, investigators discovered Rodas’s vehicle filled with open alcohol containers and reeking of alcohol. Before authorities could apprehend him, Rodas attempted to flee to South America but was intercepted and taken into custody by Mobile County officials.

An investigation by Brendan Kirby at FOX10 News revealed that Rodas had been on the radar of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for nearly six years before the fatal crash. Rodas first crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near Hidalgo, Texas, in December 2018. Despite being arrested in Mobile County for drunk driving in 2021 and again in 2022, ICE did not detain him due to a policy under the Biden administration that does not prioritize deportation for DUI arrests.

In 2022, Rodas pleaded guilty to the drunk driving charge and received a 180-day prison sentence with court-ordered supervision upon release. However, he failed to comply with the terms of his probation, yet the organization overseeing his supervision never sought to revoke it.

Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood criticized the lack of action regarding Rodas’s probation, emphasizing the preventable nature of Luker’s death had Rodas been deported earlier.

Elementary School Forces Kids to Mask up Again

A Maryland elementary school has reinstated its face mask mandate after several students tested positive for COVID.

Rosemary Hills Elementary School just north of Washington, D.C., is requiring the third grade class and school staff to wear masks for 10 days after “three or more” third graders tested positive for COVID. . .

The ten-day period ends on September 11, according to a school district spokesperson.

9-Year-Old Makes Incredible Christmas Discovery on Beach

A nine-year-old girl found a massive megalodon shark tooth on a beach in Maryland, on Christmas Day.

Molly Sampson visited Calvert Beach in Maryland with her family on Dec. 25, informing her mother that she was “looking for a meg,” according to the BBC. Megalodons grew to a length of around 50 feet and have been [supposedly] extinct for some 2.6 million years, Science Daily reported.

Sampson reportedly waded out into the freezing cold waters until she was knee-deep and found exactly what she was looking for.

Multiple Dead After Gunman Opens Fire at Factory; Suspect Shot by Cops

A number of people were killed during a “mass shooting” at a factory in Maryland on Thursday, reports said.

There were “multiple fatalities” in the shooting that took place around 2:30 p.m. at Columbia Machine in Smithsburg, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect was also shot at the scene by police.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan told reporters that he had been briefed on the incident and said preliminary reports from state police indicated three people were killed.

“My understanding is that [there was] potentially three people killed,” he said at a press conference on the state’s COVID-19 recovery plan. “The state police responded, pursued the suspect. The suspect fired, shot a state trooper in the shoulder who then returned fire and shot him back. Governor Offers To Absorb Three Counties From Neighboring State

Republican West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced Friday that three western Maryland counties would be welcome to secede and join his state.

“We welcome these counties and would be tickled to death to have them and the great folks of that incredible state,” Justice said in a press release. State lawmakers representing Allegany, Garrett and Washington Counties submitted letters Thursday to West Virginia Senate President Craig Blair and State House Speaker Roger Hanshaw requesting that the West Virginia legislature approve legislation allowing them to join the state.

Allegany, Garrett and Washington are the three of the most Republican counties in traditionally Democratic Maryland. Then-President Donald Trump won all three, putting up his two highest margin victories in Garrett and Allegany. They were represented in the House by Republican Roscoe Bartlett until 2010, when the Maryland state legislature redrew his district to include Montgomery County suburbs. WATCH: Disturbing Video Shows Police Handcuff Crying 5-Year-Old

Police in Maryland released disturbing bodycam footage that shows officers handcuffing a weeping 5-year-old and calling him a “beast” after placing him in a squad car for not being in school.

The video, released by the Montgomery County Police Department on Friday, was recorded in January 2020 and shows the officers repeatedly berate the small boy as he sobs uncontrollably.

“Does your mama spank you? She’s going to spank you today,” one of the officers tells the boy.

The officers first encounter the child walking around a neighborhood after he allegedly “left school grounds.”
