Maxine Waters: Congress Can Remove Trump Without Impeachment

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Maxine Waters (D-CA) on Saturday made the case that President Donald Trump should be ousted from the White House. According to Waters, the 25th Amendment would allow Congress to make the move.

“The President of the United States of America is unbelievably divisive. The president lies. He’s pitting people against each other, going back to the old birther argument that they attempted to use against Obama. This is a president that is the most deplorable human being that I have ever encountered in my life. And he’s undermining our democracy,” Waters said during an MSNBC interview on Saturday. “We cannot take any more of this president. This president is not only attacking the person that was just appointed or selected by Biden to be his vice president, and he is not hesitant to do it. This man has no shame. The name-calling, he called her nasty, on and on and on. I don’t know how much more the American people can take.”

The California congresswoman cited President Trump’s take on the United States Postal Service and how he’s “undermining our democracy” to say Section 4 of the 25th Amendment would mean Congress could oust him from the White House.

“As a matter of fact, when you couple that with what he’s doing, undermining our democracy, tearing up our post office, I believe that it is time for Section 4 of Amendment 25 to be put in place and his cabinet should send to Nancy Pelosi, the speaker, as identified in the Constitution, that this man should be removed from office. Section 25 should be put in place,” she explained. He is dangerous. He is tearing up, again, this country, undermining our democracy. And I want to tell you something, I’m getting more complaints about what he’s doing to the post office than I have on any other issue in my district. He cannot have our post office. He cannot do this. we’ve got to stop him.” (Read more from “Maxine Waters: Congress Can Remove Trump Without Impeachment” HERE)

Maxine Waters: ‘I Don’t Know’ If Biden Has What It Takes to Beat Trump

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, said Tuesday she doesn’t know if Joe Biden has what it takes to defeat President Trump and declined to share her opinion of the former vice president’s fitness for office.

Waters was asked if she is supporting Biden or Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Democratic presidential primary.

“It’s not about who you like,” Waters told Just the News on Capitol Hill ahead of Tuesday’s presidential primaries. “It’s about now watching and understanding who can beat Trump.”

Asked if Biden could beat Trump, she replied, “I don’t know, but we’ll see.”

President Trump has criticized Biden’s gaffes on the campaign trail. Asked if she thinks Biden has the fitness for office given his gaffes, Waters wheeled instead on the president. (Read more from “Maxine Waters: ‘I Don’t Know’ If Biden Has What It Takes to Beat Trump” HERE)

WATCH: Russian Pranksters Dupe Maxine Waters by Calling as Greta Thunberg Claiming to Have Dirt on Trump

. . .The 81-year-old career politician — who has been calling for Trump’s impeachment since the day he took office — appears to have been tricked by Russian pranksters into thinking she was talking to Greta Thunberg, who reportedly claimed she had dirt on Trump.

The pranksters, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who go by the stage names Vovan and Lexus, recently posted a video of them talking to a woman, who identified herself as Maxine Waters in the audio. One pretends to be Greta, the other to be her father.

The conversation begins with the fake Greta telling Waters that she is in North Carolina at a climate summit calling for the protection of the fake “Chon-Go-Chango” islands. . .

“It was a really terrible meeting in the U.N. building in September with him. And I had nightmares afterwards. It’s terrible,” fake Greta told Waters. “I saw him in the hallway. He was with security and I shouted at him, ‘Sign the Paris Climate Agreement again!’ He came over, he leaned in towards me, and said softly, ‘Listen carefully to me, little girl. You will never achieve your goal, like the congressional goal, trying to accuse me.’”

“He said you will never achieve your goal? Oh my goodness.” Waters said, sounding shocked. “Did you ask him if he would rethink signing the Paris Climate Agreement? Is that your question to him?”

Maxine Waters: Impeachment Not Good Enough, President Must Be Imprisoned; If Pompeo Defies Subpoenas, I Hope ‘We Can Drag Him in or We Can Arrest Him’

By The Blaze. One of the first House Democrats to openly call for President Donald Trump’s impeachment now says it’s not good enough and would rather see him locked up all by himself instead.

In a Tuesday afternoon tweet, Rep Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said that she had had enough of the president’s “filthy talk of whistleblowers being spies & using mob language implying they should be killed.” . . .

President Trump has been the subject of emboldened calls for his impeachment from Washington Democrats in the wake of the controversy over a whistleblower from the intelligence community’s report about a late July phone call between the U.S. president and the president of Ukraine.

In the wake of the controversy and impeachment push from House Democrats last week, President Trump remarked that those who fed the information to the whistleblower were “close to a spy” and “You know what we used to do in the old days, when we were smart, right? The spies and treason? We used to handle it a little differently than we do now.” (Read more from “Maxine Waters: Impeachment Not Good Enough, President Must Be Imprisoned” HERE)

Waters: If Pompeo Defies Subpoenas, I Hope ‘We Can Drag Him in or We Can Arrest Him’

By Breitbart. . .[Maxine] Waters said, “I do agree that this president has instructed those who we have been subpoenaing not to come before our committee, not to cooperate. It is outrageous in what he is doing. And now that we have more information, factual information, for example, that Pompeo was on that telephone call, he must respond to the subpoena. He must come forward, or he could be charged, I believe, with obstruction of the impeachment. And I don’t know everything that goes along with that, but I certainly hope that it means we can drag him in or we can arrest him.”

This Prediction from Maxine Waters Is Being Thrown Back in Her Face After Deal with Mexico

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is facing some ridicule from supporters of President Donald Trump after she predicted he would “cave” on the threat to impose tariffs on Mexico. . .

Just hours later, the president tweeted that he had reached an agreement with Mexico and he called off the threat of tariffs.

“Mexico will take unprecedented steps to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration, to include the deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border,” read a statement from the state department. . .

Waters, undeterred, retweeted a post claiming that she was correct in her prediction that he would “cave” in order to avoid implementing the unpopular tariffs on Mexico.

Maxine Waters: Violent Protests ‘Make America Better’

Over the weekend, California Representative Maxine Waters once again defended her public statements encouraging her supporters to harass and assault their political opponents in mobs. During a Saturday appearance on the “Roland Martin Unfiltered” web show, Waters insisted that such protests “make America better” because protestors are fighting for “justice and equality for everybody.”

Rather than deny that she has been encouraging violent behavior against Republicans, Waters justified such tactics by claiming that the very nature of protests is to make their targets “feel uncomfortable”:

“I told someone the other day who is trying to say that we are violent when we protest: Protest is about making you feel uncomfortable. I’m not supposed to come to you and say: May I protest you? . . .

“No! Absolutely not. If your heart tells you that this is what you need to do because you see some injustice —that you see people who are creating, you know, a terrible time and pain for others — and you want to protest to try and make change, to try and make it right, then speak what your heart is telling you to do.”

“It is because of protests that we have been able to make America better. We are the patriots who say we believe in this country and we believe that it can be about justice and equality for everybody. And we can’t back up from that.”

Uh Oh: Maxine Waters May Find Herself in Hot Water Over Fundraising Practices

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), a conservative watchdog group, on Monday filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) accusing Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) of violating federal election laws earlier this year.

According to the NLPC, Waters’ campaign sent out a “slate mailer” that included former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa who was running for Governor in the Democratic primary. Villaraigoa’s campaign agreed to pay a $25,000 fee for the mailer. NLPC says Villaraigosa failed to pay for the mailer but a group called “Families and Teachers for Antonio” paid the fee.

“Whereas candidates like Villaraigosa may legally pay Waters’ campaign for the proportional costs of their inclusion on her slate mailer, it is not legal for such payment to be made by a third party like ‘Families and Teachers for Antonio,'” NPLC alleges.

NLPC filed a similar complaint with the FEC for another “slate mailer” which was part of the 2016 election. The watchdog group says Waters’ campaign accepted $35,000 from the Democratic State Central Committee of California (DSCCC) to include then-Senate candidate Kamala Harris. . .

According to the FEC’s 2004 advisory opinion, payments from other candidates “would not constitute support of, or in-kind contributions to, any federal candidate appearing in the brochure, so long as the authorized committee of that federal candidate reimburses the Waters Committee.” (Read more from “Uh Oh: Maxine Waters May Find Herself in Hot Water Over Fundraising Practices” HERE)

Rep. Maxine Waters Talks About Threatening Trump Supporters ‘All the Time’

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) recently joked about her now-infamous comments to her supporters earlier this year urging them to harass Trump supporters in public. Over the weekend, she joked that she threatens Trump’s constituents and supporters “all the time” but wasn’t doing it “that time.”

“I said, if you see them anywhere, if you see them in a restaurant, if you see them in a department store, even at a gasoline station, just tell them, you’re not welcome here or anywhere,” she said, recapping the controversial remarks she made in June.

“And of course the lying president said that I had threatened all of his constituents. I did not threaten his constituents and supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do that that time,” she quipped to laughs from the crowd at the Stonewall Young Democratic Club awards event.

. . .

Waters also noted that she is unfazed by the many Democrats who are discouraging impeachment talk ahead of the midterm elections.

“They say, ‘Maxine, please don’t say impeachment any more,” she said. “And when they say that, I say impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment.” (Read more from “Rep. Maxine Waters Talks About Threatening Trump Supporters ‘All the Time'” HERE)

Maxine Waters Vows to ‘Get’ Pence Once Trump Impeached

By Washington Times. Rep. Maxine Waters promised a crowd of young Democrats over the weekend that she would go after Vice President Mike Pence once President Trump is removed from office.

The California congresswoman accepted a lifetime achievement award from the Stonewall Young Democrats on Saturday in Los Angeles, telling the enthusiastic crowd that Mr. Trump threatened Americans’ way of life and deserved to be impeached.

“I’m gonna get him,” Ms. Waters said, according to a video published by progressive activist and attendee Edward Garren. “I’m in this fight and I’m not gonna move.

“And, as you know, there’s a difference in how some of our leadership talk about how we should handle all of this,” she continued. “They say, ‘Maxine, please don’t say impeachment anymore. ‘And when they say that, I say, ‘Impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment.’” (Read more from “Maxine Waters Vows to ‘Get’ Pence Once Trump Impeached” HERE)

Maxine Waters’ Office Evacuated – Here’s What Happened

By The Blaze. The district office of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) was evacuated due to the presence of a suspicious package with a label which carried a threatening message. . .

The package had a label that read, “Anne Thrax,” which was taken to refer to anthrax, the lethal substance often sent via the mail in bio-terrorist attacks. . .

Waters has been in a heated feud with President Donald Trump with both sides launching rhetorical barbs against the other. The congresswoman had called for the impeachment of the president since before his inauguration, and in response Trump has often referred to has as “low I.Q.,” which some on the left have taken as a racist dog whistle.

Waters was also seriously criticized when she appeared to advocate for members of the Trump administration to be harassed by left-wing agitators who opposed the president’s political agenda. She denied the accusation. (Read more from “Maxine Waters’ Office Evacuated – Here’s What Happened” HERE)

Suspicious Package Labeled ‘Anthrax’ Left at Office of Rep. Maxine Waters, Officials Say

By ABC News. A hazmat crew in Los Angeles investigated the office of California Rep. Maxine Waters due to a “suspicious package” left there that was labeled “anthrax,” according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire department later tweeted that no hazardous materials were found and that no one required hospitalization. . .

On Thursday, the officers and personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department were on site at Waters’ office “to ensure safety and security,” she wrote. (Read more from “Suspicious Package Labeled ‘Anthrax’ Left at Office of Rep. Maxine Waters, Officials Say” HERE)

Complaint Filed Against Maxine Waters – Here’s the Reason Why

Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) over her recent speech that encouraged the harassment of Trump administration officials in public.

In a hand-delivered letter to the chairman and co-chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics, Judicial Watch asked for an investigation into whether the California Democrat “violated House ethics rules by encouraging violence against Trump administration Cabinet members.”

Last month, Waters told a crowd: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere.”

In encouraging individuals to create “crowds” who will “push back” on President Trump’s Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Waters seems to be violation of House rules, specifically:

A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]
