Maxine Waters Questions Melania Trump’s Legal Status in Bizarre Attack

California Rep. Maxine Waters (D) suggested Saturday during an anti-Trump administration rally in Los Angeles that first lady Melania Trump is in the country illegally.

It appears that the 86-year-old Democrat’s failed attempt at a mic-drop moment was the product not only of decrepitude and hypocrisy but of a gross misapprehension of key facts.

On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens. Trump noted in the order that “the privilege of United States citizenship does not automatically extend to persons born in the United States” if those individuals’ parents were illegally in the country or not lawful permanent residents at the time of their birth.

Multiple federal judges blocked the order, and multiple appeals courts have refused to overturn those injunctions. The matter will soon be settled by the U.S. Supreme Court.

In the meantime, leftists, both foreign and domestic, have complained about the distinct possibility that illegal aliens’ anchor babies won’t always be conferred citizenship. (Read more from “Maxine Waters Questions Melania Trump’s Legal Status in Bizarre Attack” HERE)

Unhinged: Maxine Waters Goes After Trump and ‘Domestic Terrorists’ for ‘Divisive Language’

Last week, we covered how Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) had a particularly looney response to former and potentially future President Donald Trump being found “guilty” on all 34 counts in his hush money “trial.” She’s only since doubled down on the lunacy, as she appeared on MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart,” where she ranted and raved not merely about Trump, but “domestic terrorists.”

Waters claimed during the program that she was “going to spend some time” with the justice system to ask about “domestic terrorists,” wanting to know “are they preparing a civil war against us? Should we be concerned about our safety? What is he doing with this divisive language?! It is dangerous, and we’re going to have to make sure that we understand that we’re not at risk with this man talking in the way that he is doing,” she said about Trump.

A longer clip shared by Fox News also showed Waters repeating how “divisive” Trump supposedly is as he talks about “revenge,” which he and his supporters have made clear will take place on November 5, when voters choose to elect him once more (or not) in response to the lawfare from the so-called justice system.

“I think that that’s dangerous,” Waters lamented, also bringing up a popular albeit debunked narrative from President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, which is that Trump claimed there will be “bloodshed.” In the full context of his remarks from March in Ohio, it was clear that he was speaking about the U.S. auto industry in the economic sense, should Biden be reelected.

Rep. Maxine Waters Tells Homeless to ‘Go Home’

A chaotic scene unfolded in South Los Angeles last week when Rep. Maxine Waters showed up to an event aimed at providing emergency resources to homeless Angelenos in her district, an event where those who turned out were expecting something much different than what played out.

According to The Los Angeles Times, while Waters requested that the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority show up in the community to provide assistance to her homeless constituents, “an unofficial social media post erroneously promised that those who showed up would get rare vouchers for permanent, subsidized housing.”

As a result of the mixed messages, “Homeless people lined up on a corner” and “heated arguments broke out among the hundreds of people who turned out for assistance.” Despite their efforts, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority workers “were unable to meet more than a small fraction of the need and left while throngs of people were still waiting for help.”

In the midst of all that, Maxine Waters sought to gain control of the situation and demanded that a crowd of mostly homeless people needed to “go home.” You can’t make it up, but here’s video obtained by The L.A. Times to prove it anyway:

Maxine Waters Republicans Are Worse Than ‘Evil’ — They Display ‘Racism’ All the Time

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said on this week’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” that Republicans were worse than “evil.”

Capehart said, “Let’s put up on the screen some recent sampling of the Republican’s violent rhetoric that we have seen. You see Boebert, her Islamic-phobic remarks against Congresswoman Omar. You have Congressman Gosar and the anime video. Marjorie Taylor Greene, that’s just two of many things she has done, including getting up in the face of Congresswoman Cori Bush so much so Congresswoman Bush moved her office because she felt threatened. Then you see Congressman Yoho for misogynistic remarks against about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez among other things. Congresswoman Waters, since you’re the only member of the House on this panel and on the show right now, are the democrats going to hold onto the majority?” . . .

She added, “The American people are going to be able to distinguish between us and them. In the final analysis, we’re going to win. We’re going to beat them. We don’t take anything for granted. We know that they’re evil. We know that they lie. We know that they don’t give a darn about facts and so we’ve got to overcome that with the truth.” (Read more from “Maxine Waters Republicans Are Worse Than ‘Evil’ — They Display ‘Racism’ All the Time” HERE)

Chauvin Trial Juror Admits She Feared Backlash Depending On Verdict

During an interview with KARE 11 a juror for the trial of ex-Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, who ultimately found out she was an alternate, expressed concern about being called for the job because she “didn’t want to see rioting again” and was scared people would show up at her home if they were unhappy with a particular verdict.

Raguse: Did you want to be a juror?

Christensen: I had mixed feelings. There was a question on the questionnaire about it and I put I did not know. The reason, at that time, was I did not know what the outcome was going to be, so I felt like either way you are going to disappoint one group or the other. I did not want to go through rioting and destruction again and I was concerned about people coming to my house if they were not happy with the verdict.

Democrats Kill Resolution to Censure Maxine Waters

Democrats successfully killed a resolution Tuesday to censure Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) over comments she made calling on protesters to “get more confrontational” if the Derek Chauvin trial didn’t go their way.

The motion was tabled by a partisan vote of 216 to 210 on Tuesday just ahead of the verdict in the case being announced.

Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) called for the censure resolution after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) refused to condemn the comments and defended Waters instead. . .

Many saw the comments as inciting violence among protesters, while others said that the comments were in line with the peaceful but confrontational protests of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.

When Pelosi was confronted about the comments, she said that Waters should not apologize for what she said. (Read more from “Democrats Kill Resolution to Censure Maxine Waters” HERE)

Here’s How Maxine Waters Responded to Criticism About Her Push for Violence

Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) is under fire for her recent comments that incited violence from individuals protesting the potential outcome of the Derek Chauvin trial. Waters told a group of demonstrators to be “more confrontational” if the ultimate decision in the trial is not what they hope. . .

“I am nonviolent. Republicans will jump on any word, any line and try to make it fit their message and their cause for denouncing us and denying us, basically calling us violent,” Waters told The Grio. “I am not intimidated. I am not afraid, and I do what needs to be done.” (Read more from “Here’s How Maxine Waters Responded to Criticism About Her Push for Violence” HERE)

Impeach And Remove Maxine Waters; Unhinged Waters Orders BLM: Get More Confrontational (VIDEO)

By New York Post. In supporting the second impeachment of President Trump, California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters said he was “inciting” his followers, and was “trying to create a Civil War.”

By her own standards, Maxine Waters should be impeached and removed.

On Sunday in Minnesota, Waters, breaking the law by violating curfew (because “she didn’t agree with it”) said that if ex-police officer Derek Chauvin is not found guilty of murdering George Floyd, “We’ve got to get more confrontational.” . . .

This isn’t the first time Waters has incited her supporters. In 2018, she told them to harass Trump administration officials. “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she said. (Read more from “Impeach And Remove Maxine Waters” HERE)

Unhinged Maxine Waters Orders BLM: Get More Confrontational (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) joined demonstrators Saturday evening outside the police station in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and told Americans to take to the streets unless Derek Chauvin is convicted for murder in the death of George Floyd.

Waters joined protesters who are angry over the shooting of Daunte Wright, 20, as he fled arrest after a traffic stop earlier this month. Officers discovered that there was a warrant for Wright’s arrest over accusations of attempted aggravated robbery and a gun violation. Police officer Kim Potter threatened to use her Taser against Wright, but shot him instead; he later died. . .

“We’re looking for a guilty verdict,” Waters said. “And we’re looking to see if all of the talk that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd, if nothing does not happen, then we know that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice,” she said. . .

Judge In Chauvin Case Rips Maxine Waters: ‘Disrespectful To The Rule Of Law … Abhorrent’; Pelosi DEFENDS Congresswoman’s Disturbing Comments; WH: Protesting Injustice ‘Most American Thing Anyone Can Do’

By Breitbart. Judge Peter Cahill blasted Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) on Monday for her remarks Saturday that there should be unrest if the jury fails to convict Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd in Hennepin County, Minnesota. . .

“I’ll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned,” he said, later adding:

I’m aware of the media reports, I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational — but you can submit the press articles about that. This goes back to what I’ve been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law,, and to the judicial branch and our function. I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so, I think, is abhorrent, but I don’t think it has prejudiced this, with additional material that would prejudice this jury. … A congresswoman’s opinion really doesn’t matter a whole lot.

White House on Derek Chauvin Verdict: Protesting Injustice ‘Most American Thing Anyone Can Do’

By Breitbart. White House press secretary Jen Psaki spoke Monday about President Joe Biden’s support for protests, ahead of the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial in Minnesota.

“His view is also that exercising First Amendment rights and protesting injustice is the most American thing that anyone can do,” Psaki said.

She added that Biden wanted the protests to remain peaceful.

Psaki responded with the president’s views during the White House press briefing after she was asked for a response to comments by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) calling for a “more confrontational” approach if the jury found Chauvin not guilty. Documents Show Maxine Waters Requested Police Escort Before Advocating For Increased Violence

New documents obtained by Townhall show Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters requested an armed police escort to Minneapolis over the weekend, where she called for violent activists to “stay in the streets” during a protest against law enforcement.

Waters flew from Dulles International Airport to Minnesota-St. Paul International Airport on Saturday, April 17, just days ahead of a verdict in the George Floyd, Officer Derek Chauvin trial.

That night, Waters went to meet with protestors and demanded a guilty verdict for Chauvin “or else.”
