Country Captures Notorious Drug Lord’s Nephew Wanted By US, Official Says

Authorities captured the nephew of drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman during a recent criminal operation, a Mexican official said Tuesday.

Mexican Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection Omar Garcia Harfuch said the suspect, identified as Isai “N,” was detained in Nogales, a city in the Mexican state of Sonora, according to a translation of his X post. The criminal operation that led to the suspect’s capture was coordinated by multiple agencies, including the Mexican National Guard.

In addition to the suspect’s capture, authorities executed a search warrant in Tapachula, Chiapas, and seized 687 kilograms of cocaine, 151 firearms, 363 magazines and 18 grenades, Harfuch said.

“These actions reflect the permanent coordination of the Mexican State to apprehend priority targets and weaken the operational capabilities of criminal groups. We thank the support and collaboration of the authorities of the Government of Chiapas,” his statement on X read in part.

The suspect’s uncle, El Chapo, got involved in drug trafficking in the late 1980s and eventually became the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, according to an archived version of the State Department’s website. He was arrested in June 1993 in Mexico and sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges related to murder and drug trafficking. El Chapo escaped from a federal maximum security prison in January 2001 before he was re-arrested in February 2014. He escaped from prison again in July 2015. Cartel Gunman Kills 10 Family Members in Mexico, Including Toddler

Authorities in central Mexico are investigating the brutal murder of ten victims, including a 20-month-old child, at the hands of cartel gunmen. Authorities in Mexico claim the mass killing was in response to a family having forced one of the gunmen into a drug rehab center, from which he escaped.

The mass killing took place on Sunday, early morning, at a ranch near the city of Tehuitzingo, Puebla. According to initial reports from Mexico’s Excelsior, the attack took place when a group of gunmen pulled up to the ranch and began to tie up and kill several members of one family and three workers. The gunmen left before authorities arrived. One of the victims was identified as a young infant. The dead also included several minors.

In the aftermath, the Puebla Attorney General’s Office issued a series of statements revealing that the killing was targeted in nature and not directly tied to violence between criminal organizations. According to information published in Proceso, the killing is attributed to a man named Jose Alfredo “N” who had been sent to a drug rehabilitation center by his family. He later escaped from the facility. (Read more from “Cartel Gunman Kills 10 Family Members in Mexico, Including Toddler” HERE)

University Worked With Globalist NGO To Make Mexico’s Judicial System Gay

A taxpayer-funded California university partnered with a United Nations agency to teach Mexican officials how to make their justice system LGBT-friendly, records obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.

More than 220 Mexican judges, secretaries and officers in Mexico’s judicial branch participated in a virtual University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law course from October to November 2022 on upholding gay and transgender rights, according to materials received in a public records request and translated by the DCNF. The law school’s Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law and Public Policy provided the course in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Mexico’s Federal Judiciary Council, an agency that oversaw the country’s court system before legislative reforms delegated its authority elsewhere.

The UCLA course underscores the yearslong relationship between American legal institutions and Mexico’s government to advance liberal causes in both countries. Mexico also funds liberal American attorneys to stop U.S. courts from executing Mexican citizens, a punishment the nation calls “cruel and inhuman,” the DCNF previously reported.

UCLA receives hundreds of millions of dollars in federal and state grants, including $641 million California approved in fiscal year 2024 alone. The school successfully sued to regain more than $500 million in federal funds the Trump administration froze in July over alleged campus civil rights violations, CalMatters reported. Master of Laws students at UCLA’s law school will be eligible for $20,500 annually in federal unsubsidized loans by July, according to the school’s website.

The law school, which houses the Williams Institute, did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment about whether the course is ongoing and where its funding comes from. The UNFPA and the head of Mexico’s Foreign Affairs Ministry also did not respond to inquiries. (Read more from “University Worked With Globalist NGO To Make Mexico’s Judicial System Gay” HERE)

CIA Officers Reportedly Die After Narco Operation

Two CIA officers were reportedly killed in a serious traffic incident in northern Mexico over the weekend.

The crash, which occurred Sunday in Chihuahua state, also killed two Mexican officials and triggered a review ordered by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum into whether the circumstances surrounding the joint cooperation complied with national security protocols, according to the Washington Post.

The accident occurred as they were returning from activities tied to a major anti-drug enforcement effort, according to individuals familiar with the situation. Mexican authorities reported that the vehicle carrying the four occupants lost control on a roadway, left the pavement, plunged into a ravine, and caught fire; all four were pronounced dead at the scene.

Local officials said the group had earlier participated in follow-up discussions connected to dismantling a large-scale clandestine drug production site in a remote area. While Mexican prosecutors confirmed the Americans were not part of the operational raid itself, they had been involved in related coordination efforts. . .

The attorney general of Chihuahua, César Jáuregui Moreno, described the facility as one of the most significant illicit drug labs uncovered in the region in recent years. The incident comes at a moment of heightened pressure from Washington on Mexican authorities to intensify action against organized crime groups. UFO Caught On Video Hovering Over Active Volcano Before Disappearing

Alien fanatics are in a state of euphoria after video seemingly shows an unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering over an active volcano in Mexico.

In the footage, a glowing object flies over the volcano prior to zooming away at a high speed and disappearing.

The “huge UFO” was seemingly observing the volcano as smoke and lava came out of the crater.

The eerie incident, which took place in the Mexican states of Morelos and Puebla at the Popocatepetl volcano, was caught by surveillance cameras in late October, according to Telegrafi.

Having an altitude of 17,801 feet, the volcano is one of the most active in the nation, per the outlet.

Mexican Mayor Who Stood Up to Cartels Gunned Down in ‘Kamikaze Attack’ Weeks After Haunting Statement

A Mexican mayor who called for “brute force” against the country’s violent drug cartels was gunned down in public Saturday night during “Day of the Dead” celebrations in his hometown.

Carlos Manzo, 40, the firebrand mayor of Uruapan in Mexico’s Michoacan province, was shot dead by two gunmen in front of shocked supporters in the city’s central square, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the vile assassination of the mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzo,” Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum wrote on X. “I express my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, as well as to the people of Uruapan, for this irreparable loss.”

Security consultant David Saucedo described the brazen assassination as a “kamikaze attack.”

Manzo gained fame as head of the city of 300,000 when he stood up to the bloody cartels that have terrorized Mexico for decades — and acknowledged the risk he was taking. (Read more from “Mexican Mayor Who Stood Up to Cartels Gunned Down in ‘Kamikaze Attack’ Weeks After Haunting Statement” HERE)

How Chinese Operatives Are Laundering Mexican Drug Money In Broad Daylight

Mexican drug cartels are partnering with Chinese money laundering networks to funnel hundreds of millions of dollars in drug proceeds to Chinese nationals in the United States, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.

The Sinaloa Cartel — formerly headed by Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán — is allegedly working with Chinese groups based in the U.S. to funnel hundreds of millions of dollars in cartel cash through American banks and ultimately into the hands of Chinese nationals living in the U.S., the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The scheme often begins in Mexico, where cartels make billions of dollars selling cheap drugs into the United States.

Chinese nationals in the U.S. travel to Mexico to pick up large amounts of cash directly from the cartels. They then deposit the cash into a network of accounts held at major American banks before selling it to wealthy Chinese clients who pay using Chinese yuan, according to the Journal. The money laundering groups then purchase low-cost goods from China, which are shipped to Mexico, and sold under the cover of legitimate trade. The proceeds — in pesos — are returned to the cartels.

Chinese laundering groups in the U.S. have grown in prominence in recent years, partly due to financial restrictions imposed by the Chinese government, added the Journal’s report. Beijing prohibits individuals from moving more than $50,000 out of the country in foreign currency, and many wealthy Chinese nationals also face sanctions, creating strong incentives to bypass legal channels. To purchase homes in America or pay for their child’s tuition at an American university, wealthy Chinese buyers have to find cash somewhere else. EPA’s Zeldin Demands End to Mexican Sewage Flooding Across Border: ‘It’s Been Going on for Too Long’

The Trump administration is tackling a different border flow after illegal crossings plunged to record lows.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin embarked Monday on a mission to halt the flow of Mexican sewage into the US from Tijuana.

“EPA is going to be on the border with Mexico,” Zeldin told reporters Monday before flying to San Diego.

“There, for decades, has been raw sewage that’s been traveling across the border, and Americans are very concerned with regards to beach closures, degradation of the Tijuana River Valley and concerns of public health, air quality,” Zeldin said.

“It’s been going on for too long, and we have to urgently and deliberately pursue and implement a solution that permanently ends this, and that is an important focus of ours.”

Zeldin will meet Tuesday with Mexican Environmental Secretary Alicia Bárcena before highlighting the impact on local military operations. (Read more from “EPA’s Zeldin Demands End to Mexican Sewage Flooding Across Border: ‘It’s Been Going on for Too Long’” HERE)

Trump Admin Cuts off Water to Mexico Over Failure to Comply With 1944 Treaty

The Trump administration has nailed Mexico over the country’s failure to comply with a water treaty made in 1944, according to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.

Cruz has been demanding that Mexico meet its water supply obligations, but it took the Trump administration to finally take action to protect the rights of farmers near the Rio Grande.

A statement from the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs on Thursday said that the U.S. was responding to Mexico’s failure to comply by cutting off water to Tijuana, a city bordering California.

“Mexico’s continued shortfalls in its water deliveries under the 1944 water-sharing treaty are decimating American agriculture — particularly farmers in the Rio Grande valley,” the bureau said. “As a result, today for the first time, the U.S. will deny Mexico’s non-treaty request for a special delivery channel for Colorado River water to be delivered to Tijuana.”

Cruz applauded the decision in a statement on social media.

“Excellent. As I said yesterday, this option is absolutely what the Trump administration needs to pressure Mexico to fulfill its obligations under the 1944 Water Treaty,” he replied. (Read more from “Trump Admin Cuts off Water to Mexico Over Failure to Comply With 1944 Treaty” HERE)

Gunmen in Mexico Kidnapped, Dismembered Nine Innocent Beach-Bound Students

Authorities in Mexico have remained tight-lipped about the reason behind the kidnapping, torture, and dismemberment of nine students who were traveling through Mexico to a beach town in southern Mexico. The mass killing comes as the Trump Administration imposed a series of tariffs on Mexico as a punitive measure for the “intolerable relationship” between Mexico’s government and drug cartels.

The incident occurred on Sunday in the south-central part of Mexico along a highway near the state border between Puebla and Oaxaca. Authorities found one sedan with a total of nine bodies inside or strewn around the vehicle. Some of the victims had their hands severed, while others were entirely dismembered. All victims had been shot and showed signs of torture.

According to the Puebla Sun newspaper, the nine victims were all students from Tlaxcala who traveled to the beach hotspot of Huatulco, Oaxaca, when they went missing. Their relatives reported them missing on February 27, and it wasn’t until March 2 that authorities discovered their bodies inside the sedan. The victims are described as four women and five men.

Mexican authorities have so far refused to provide case details, claiming they are following various investigation theories.

The case comes at the same time that the White House imposed a series of tariffs on Mexico and announced that the country was protecting terrorist drug cartels, Breitbart Texas reported. (Read more from “Gunmen in Mexico Kidnapped, Dismembered Nine Innocent Beach-Bound Students” HERE)
