WATCH: Mike Bloomberg INSISTS He Would’ve Beaten President Trump; Inside Bloomberg’s Half-Billion-Dollar Belly Flop

By The Blaze. Failed Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg gave up on his White House bid Wednesday after a dismal showing on Super Tuesday, but the former New York mayor still believes he “would’ve beaten [President] Donald Trump in November” if only he could have won his party’s nomination. . .

During his farewell speech, Bloomberg told an audience of supporters, “This really is the best, most creative, most hardworking campaign team ever assembled. And I have to say, there is no doubt in my mind we would’ve beaten Donald Trump in November.”

Bloomberg added, “And you know who else knows that? Donald Trump. He’s been scared stiff of us and for good reason.”

According to NPR, Mr. Bloomberg, a billionaire, ran “the most expensive self-funded campaign ever” in his pursuit of the Oval Office, shelling out more than $500 million just in advertising ahead of Super Tuesday. But his big spending did not pay off — Bloomberg failed to win a single state on Tuesday, only securing U.S. territory American Samoa. Inside Bloomberg’s Half-Billion-Dollar Belly Flop

By Politico. Mike Bloomberg left the West Palm Beach ballroom where his campaign held an upbeat Super Tuesday party feeling deflated but resolute. He knew the results coming in from across the country looked increasingly grim. But he wanted to assess the final count in the light of day before deciding whether to end his short-lived bid for the White House. . .

Bloomberg started with a record-breaking ad buy of $34 million. The blitz was aimed at attracting African-American and Latino voters, two demographic groups key to winning the nomination. It was his means of catching up with those at the top of the Democratic ticket and for a while, polls showed that it may have worked in his favor: By the end of January,he polled in double digits, just behind Elizabeth Warren. By mid-February, he was the top choice among 20 percent of black voters.

He spent nearly $200 million in Super Tuesday states, including more than $30 million in the South, but he crossed the 15 percent threshold in just two Southern states.

He reasoned that he could skip the first four voting states in favor of delegate-rich ones that vote on Super Tuesday. In recent weeks, at least two high-ranking campaign advisers have privately questioned his decision not to compete in South Carolina, where they believe he could have done well. WATCH: Voter Confronts Mike Bloomberg on His Radical Gun Control Agenda Despite Having Armed Security; Mike Bloomberg Fires Back at Trump’s ‘Mini Mike’ Taunts

By The Blaze. Democratic presidential candidate and gun control advocate Michael Bloomberg was asked by a voter on Monday how he can “justify” his agenda aimed at restricting his fellow Americans’ right to defend themselves while he himself enjoys the security of having armed guards protect him. . .

During a Fox News town hall, Virginia voter Clarke Chitty rose from the audience to ask Bloomberg, “How do you justify pushing for more gun control when you have an armed security detail that is likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines that you seek to ban the common citizen from owning? Does your life matter more than mine or my family’s or these people’s?”

The crowd erupted in cheers before Bloomberg replied, “Look, I probably get 40 or 50 threats every week, okay, and some of them are real. That just happens when you’re the mayor of New York City or you’re very wealthy and if you’re campaigning for president of the United States. You get lots of threats. So, I have a security detail, I pay for it all myself, and…they’re all retired police officers who are very well trained in firearms.” (Read more from “WATCH: Voter Confronts Mike Bloomberg on His Radical Gun Control Agenda Despite Having Armed Security” HERE)

Mike Bloomberg Fires Back at Trump’s ‘Mini Mike’ Taunts: I ‘Measure Height From the Neck up’

By Fox News. Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg responded to President Trump’s repeated references to his less-than-six-foot stature, telling a Fox News Town Hall that height is “measured from the neck up.”

At the past weekend’s CPAC event in Oxon Hill, Md., Trump riffed on Bloomberg’s height — at one point crouching at his lectern so his forehead was barely visible on the dais.

“We’ve got Mini Mike, but I think he’s out of it,” Trump said in the clip, played by Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum during their Northern Virginia town hall. . .

Bloomberg watched the clip showing little expression but riffed in response that physical height isn’t all that matters when it comes to stature.

“Donald talks about height — where I come from we measure height from the neck up,” he said, receiving applause for the remark. (Read more from “Mike Bloomberg Fires Back at Trump’s ‘Mini Mike’ Taunts: I ‘Measure Height From the Neck up'” HERE)

1999: Bloomberg Bragged About Scoring 16-Year-Old Daughter Dates in China

Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg once bragged about scoring his 16-year-old daughter dates in multiple Chinese cities while visiting the country on business.

The former New York City mayor, who is under fire for helping suppress news reports critical of China’s communist regime, made the awkward comments while hobnobbing with young “Wall Street traders” at a Boston College alumni dinner in 1999, according to Wired magazine profile.

“My daughter is tall and busty and blonde,” Michael Bloomberg is telling a table of Boston College graduates. “We went to China together. And what’s a 16-year-old going to do on a business trip?” He pops another carefully buttered piece of bread in his mouth. “So I got her dates in every city in China.” Remembering that I’m also at the table, he glares in my direction. “That’s off the record!” he barks. It’s typical Mike Bloomberg, wanting to have it both ways: imperious man of the people, coarse billionaire, earthy business leader, accessible control freak.

At the time of the dinner, Bloomberg was first emerging on the political stage as a contender to replace then-term limited New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Even though Bloomberg would succeed in his quest for the mayoralty, eventually serving three terms in city hall, his 1999 comments foreshadowed a businesslike approach to the U.S.-China relationship.

As mayor, Bloomberg often championed policies that seemed copied right out of Beijing’s playbook. For instance, the Bloomberg administration in 2012 sought to ban the use of baby formula in hospitals across New York City, arguing breast feeding was a better alternative. The policy, like many of Bloomberg’s other health initiatives, was modeled off steps the Chinese regime took to promote breast feeding after its food safety protocols were called into question by a 2008 scandal involving infant formula being adulterated with melamine—a compound used when manufacturing plastic. FLASHBACK: Mike Bloomberg Received Planned Parenthood’s Award For Promoting Abortion

Democrat presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg received Planned Parenthood’s Global Citizen Award at the abortion giant’s annual gala in March 2014.

“I obviously care about a woman’s right to choose,” Bloomberg said as he accepted his award. “I think a woman shouldn’t be forced into doing anything. She’s got to make the decision. It’s her body and I understand that.”

The former New York City mayor said in his acceptance speech that his foundation would invest “$50 million into a major expansion of our efforts in Tanzania” and into “Uganda, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Nicaragua,” where he and Planned Parenthood would work to overturn pro-life laws. . .

He said, “In some countries, our funding will help advocates work towards better sexual health policies for teens and better access to contraceptives.”

“In others, it will help push for less restrictive abortion laws and more government funding for high quality accessible services,” Bloomberg continued as he encouraged his audience to applaud. Mike Bloomberg’s Supremely Materialistic, Anti-Human Ideology

. . .Begin with Bloomberg’s disturbing warmth toward China’s regime. Bloomberg News has, according to insiders, spiked stories that were critical of the regime. Bloomberg also kicked off his current presidential run by praising China’s environmental record and lauding the way the government holds power, in addition to rejecting the idea that Xi Jinping is a dictator, suggesting that a majority of the population approves of his rule.

At best, Bloomberg is saying that individual liberty and free expression can be suppressed, so long as the guy suppressing them could, in theory, find public support for it — and by “support,” he’s not necessarily referring to a free election. That’s unnerving, coming from a guy running to become president.

In this context, consider his Big Gulp bans, his smoking bans, his trans-fat bans, and his tireless campaign to outlaw guns. Bloomberg clearly rejects the notion that ordinary people should be allowed to make their own mistakes. Treating adults as adults and respecting their self-determination is not something Bloomberg believes in.

So, how then to understand his massive support for Planned Parenthood, his 100% pro-choice record on abortion, and his call to deregulate abortion clinics? Just go back to his workplace conduct.

Telling an expectant mother to kill her baby, mocking a new mother’s desire for quality child care, cursing whenever a female employee gets pregnant, and publicly denigrating marriage among professional women all reflect a clear and consistent mindset: The women who worked for him were worker bees. Their humanity, their fertility, their love, and their human attachments were all impediments to productivity. He saw these women as means to his ends of profit. Democrat Debate: Michael Bloomberg Being Attacked From All Sides by Candidates

By USA Today. Bernie Sanders slammed Michael Bloomberg’s wealth in an extended debate over taxes and what he described as the “grotesque level of income and wealth inequality” in the United States.

“That’s wrong, that’s immoral,” Sanders said, noting that Bloomberg’s wealth vastly overshadows the earnings of virtually all Americans.

The back-and-forth was ostensibly over the nation’s tax code, and a desire from Sanders and Elizabeth Warren to raise taxes on the wealthy. Bloomberg said he was proud of the money he has earned – “I work very hard for it,” he said – and added that he strongly opposed the tax proposals supported by the liberal wing of the party. . .

In a question about how his policies would affect small, minority-owned businesses, Biden brought up the discriminatory housing practice known as “redlining.”

It wasn’t redlining, but the greed of Wall Street, that caused the 2008 financial crisis, Biden said. That was an allusion to comments Bloomberg made in 2008 in which he said the crisis was started because banks were pressured to end redlining. Bloomberg Under Siege at Chaotic Debate Debut, as Warren Attacks Field in Bid to Revive Campaign

By Fox News. Elizabeth Warren shamed Mike Bloomberg for allegedly calling women “fat broads.”

Amy Klobuchar asked Pete Buttigieg if he was calling her “dumb.”

Bloomberg swiped at Bernie Sanders by quipping that “the best-known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses.”

The Democrats’ showdown Wednesday night in Las Vegas repeatedly put Bloomberg in his primary rivals’ crosshairs as the surging billionaire made his debate-stage debut. But the conflagration quickly expanded into an all-out melee and easily the most aggressive debate of the nomination season to date, as each of the candidates took sharp and often personal shots at one another.

The fight started out white-hot when, in her first turn at the microphone, Warren asserted that she would support whoever wins the nomination, but warned that Democrats “take a huge risk if we just substitute one arrogant billionaire for another.” (Read more from “Bloomberg Under Siege at Chaotic Debate Debut, as Warren Attacks Field in Bid to Revive Campaign” HERE)

Bloomberg Wants to Deny Elderly Patients Cancer Treatment

A resurfaced video of Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg emerged over the week that showed him discussing health care while visiting a Jewish family in 2011 where he said that elderly people should be denied treatment for cancer as a solution for managing hospital’s scarce resources.

Bloomberg, who railed against Obamacare while talking to the Jewish family, said, “All of these costs keep going up, nobody wants to pay any more money and at the rate we’re going, health care is going to bankrupt us.”

“So, not only do we have a problem, it’s going to bankrupt us and we’ve got to sit here and say, ‘which things are we going to do and which things we’re not,’” Bloomberg continued. “Nobody wants to do that.”

“You know, you show up with prostate cancer and you’re 95-years-old, we should say, ‘go and enjoy, have a nice [inaudible], live a long life,’” Bloomberg continued. “There’s no cure and you can’t do anything, if you’re a young person we should do something about it. Society is not willing to do that yet, so [health care] is going to bankrupt us and we’re not looking at prophylactic care, we’re not trying to take care of things, so we don’t get sick.”

Bloomberg later praised the socialized medicine that Europe has, suggesting that it was better than America’s health care system. (Read more from “Bloomberg Wants to Deny Elderly Patients Cancer Treatment” HERE)

Mike Bloomberg in Resurfaced Video: ‘Black and Latino Males’ Don’t ‘Know How to Behave in the Workplace’

Billionaire Democrat presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is facing renewed criticism over racially-charged remarks that he made in an old interview that has gone viral over the past couple of days on social media in which he said that blacks and Latinos do not know how to behave in the workplace.

Then-New York City Mayor Bloomberg made the remarks in a 2011 interview on PBS where he promoted a $127 million three-year initiative to help reduce disparities between young black and Latino men and the rest of the population.

“Bloomberg noted that he had donated $30 million from his foundation to Open Society Foundations, the network established by liberal billionaire financier Goerge Soros, toward the new plan to enhance employment among minorities,” Fox News’ Gregg Re reported. “Taxpayers and Soros himself contributed to the jobs initiative, which set up job recruitment centers in public housing projects, placed probation centers in ‘high-risk’ areas, and linked black and Latino success in schools to Department of Education ‘progress reports.’”

“Blacks and Latinos score terribly in school testing compared to whites and Asians. If you look at our jails, it’s predominantly minorities,” Bloomberg said, later adding that “virtually all” perpetrators and victims of crime were minorities.

Bloomberg later added, “But, nevertheless, there’s this enormous cohort of black and Latino males aged, let’s say, 16 to 25 that don’t have jobs, don’t have any prospects, don’t know how to find jobs, don’t know that the — what their skill sets are, don’t know how to behave in the workplace, where they have to work collaboratively and collectively.”

Trump Campaign Reacts to Report Bloomberg Could Tap Hillary to Be His VP

President Donald Trump’s campaign reacted to rumblings of Mike Bloomberg considering Hillary Clinton as a running mate Saturday, arguing that the Democratic establishment was “once again” trying to “steal” the nomination from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Trump’s campaign and White House teams presented a united message on the news, which was first reported by Matt Drudge. . .

“Hillary apparently can’t resist trying to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders a second time,” said Erin Perrine, deputy communications director for the Trump campaign.

“It appears that Bloomberg is colluding with Hillary to once again steal the Democrat nomination from Bernie,” Republican strategist and former White House official Andy Surabian told the Daily Caller. “Did anti-establishment Dems really think the establishment oligarchs in their party were just gonna roll over in the face of Bernie’s revolution?”

Many Democrats accused Clinton’s 2016 campaign of stealing the nomination from Sanders, resulting in some reforms to the Party’s 2020 primary process. Central to the controversy were the party’s super-delegates, who enter the national convention free to vote for any candidate, whereas other delegates are bound by the results of their state primaries.
