“We Will Fight You to the Death”: Bannon Sends Chilling Warning to Speaker Johnson…

Many conservatives have had it with Speaker Mike Johnson. He seems to have transitioned from a MAGA man to a Swamp insider surprisingly quickly, and the natives are getting very restless. One of the voices calling out Speaker Johnson the loudest is none other than War Room creator and America First loyalist Steve Bannon.

However, it wasn’t always this way for Mike. He started off promising and had a lot of MAGA support behind him. But things went sideways, and his troubles started with the January 6 footage. He promised to release it all but ended up pulling a no-show, just like McCarthy did. That left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, and Mike’s been going downhill ever since. . .

Bannon is livid with Speaker Johnson, accusing him of a “bald-faced lie.” He’s warned Johnson that we’ll “fight him to the”death”—metaphorically speaking—if he tries to push through this swampy deal. Bannon believes that if the government shuts down, the public will understand the reasons behind it, as long as it’s properly explained to them.

Of course, most of the people in this country loathe the government anyway.

Steve is right. Mike is at a crossroads, and he needs to think long and hard about his next move. If Mike knows what’s good for him, he’ll seize this opportunity to correct his course and begin acting like an “America First” lawmaker instead of aligning with Deep State swamp rats. Mike Johnson and Chuck Schumer Reach Government Funding Deal, but Some Republicans Are Reportedly ‘Pissed’

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson reached a deal on the federal budget on Sunday, and the agreement is already raising the ire of some fiscal conservatives, according to several reports.

The $1.6 trillion deal sets defense spending at about $886 billion for the current fiscal year, a number that the White House and former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had reached while negotiating over the debt ceiling in the summer of 2023, according to Politico. The agreement will reportedly allow for $773 billion for spending not related to defense, a victory for Democrats that is already angering some members of the Republican caucus as the extended funding deadlines draw closer on the calendar.

Legislators now have 12 days to conduct further negotiations and lock in the final bill text, as available cash for numerous federal agencies will run out on Jan. 19, according to Politico. The funding for the military and several of the largest government programs will expire on Feb. 2, while Sunday’s breakthrough may reduce the chances of an eventual shutdown, a host of contentious issues, including potential reforms to address the crisis unfolding at the southern border, remain unresolved.

Beyond the border, questions still remain about the form that military aid packages to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan could take, according to Politico. (Read more from “Mike Johnson and Chuck Schumer Reach Government Funding Deal, but Some Republicans Are Reportedly ‘Pissed’” HERE)

Johnson Reverses, Caves to Deep State Democrats: Slips FBI Spy Power Reauthorization Into Defense Bill

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) backtracked and caved to the deep state and Democrats, moving to slip a deep state authorization into the defense bill.

Reports say that congressional leaders, including Johnson, agreed to put an extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The bill would extend Section 702 until April 19.

This frustrated many conservatives, including those who were supposed to be instrumental in crafting the final texts for the NDAA.

Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) released a video statement after she said that leadership asked conferees, which includes herself, to agree to the 3000-plus page NDAA, which is “being released behind closed doors without even getting time to read it!”

The Peach State conservative blamed Johnson for negotiating with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to “cut a deal” that would contain prohibitions against funding for abortion and “trans surgery prohibitions” that were in the House-passed NDAA under former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). WATCH: J6 Footage Suggests Capitol Police Participation in Riot May Have Been Precipitated by Firing Munitions Into Peaceful Crowd

House Speaker Mike Johnson has taken a significant step toward transparency by releasing over 40,000 hours of footage related to the January 6th Capitol events, challenging the prevailing narrative surrounding the incident. The move, long overdue according to many, aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the events that transpired on J6 and dispel what some argue is a distorted portrayal fueled by selective media coverage.

The released footage, including Capitol Police body camera footage, offers new perspectives on the events of January 6th. Contrary to the limited snippets previously circulated by the media, the extended videos suggest a more nuanced picture of the day’s occurrences. Critics argue that the initial portrayal of J6 as an insurrection may have been misleading, and that police actions and establishment spin played a role in transforming what started as a protest into a riot.

One particularly noteworthy revelation from the footage is the apparent invitation of protesters into the Capitol building by Capitol Police as they peacefully assembled in the corridors—a stark contrast to the subsequent portrayal of these individuals as “insurrectionists.” Videos circulating on social media, such as that of Matthew Perna, who initially pled guilty and believed he might face 6-12 months in prison, raise questions about the fairness of the legal process and the consequences of the narrative surrounding J6.

Moreover, the newly released footage raises concerns about the events leading up to the alleged riots. Video clips suggest that Capitol Police fired rubber bullets, tear gas grenades, and stun grenades into crowds of peaceful protesters before any attempt to enter the Capitol building occurred. This has led to speculation about whether such actions may have triggered the subsequent violence, creating footage that was widely circulated as proof of an insurrection.

Speaker Mike Johnson Releases 40,000 Hours of January 6 Footage: A Bid for Transparency Amidst Controversy (VIDEO)

The GOP-led House has initiated the release of over 40,000 hours of video footage from January 6, 2021, the day of the U.S. Capitol breach, in a move aimed at providing transparency and countering what some Republicans argue is a one-sided portrayal of the events. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who recently assumed the role, announced the gradual release of footage to a dedicated website. Notably, the disclosed material excludes a small portion containing sensitive security information or details that could pose risks to private citizens.

Speaker Johnson emphasized the importance of transparency in restoring trust in the government, stating, “To restore America’s trust and faith in their Government we must have transparency. This is another step towards keeping the promises I made when I was elected to be your Speaker.” The move has garnered appreciation from some Republican lawmakers, such as Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY), who hailed the effort and expressed gratitude to the Speaker for the release.

The decision to unveil the footage comes after previous disclosure of approximately 41,000 hours of video by Johnson’s predecessor, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, to Fox News host Tucker Carlson earlier this year. The airing of previously unseen security footage showed individuals walking down hallways in an orderly manner, challenging the prevailing narrative of chaos and violence. While some criticized the disclosure to Carlson, arguing potential security risks, Johnson emphasized the need for public access, mentioning the establishment of a public viewing room for citizens to view the videos uncensored.

Acknowledging the potential sensitivities, Johnson mentioned that processing the videos would involve blurring faces to prevent retaliation and segregating about 5% of the footage that may contain sensitive security information. The ongoing effort to release footage aims to offer a comprehensive perspective on the events of January 6, with proponents of disclosure arguing that it could provide a nuanced understanding beyond the commonly portrayed scenes of violence during the Capitol breach.

House Speaker Mike Johnson Calls for Witnesses Under Oath in Biden Impeachment Inquiry

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden has advanced to a stage in which witnesses should be placed under oath.

The speaker released a statement on Wednesday that said he had just received an update from Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who is leading the endeavor, and the two others tasked with assisting him: Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO).

“At this stage, our impeachment inquiry has already shown the corrupt conduct of the president’s family and that he and White House officials have repeatedly lied about his knowledge and involvement in his family’s business activities,” Johnson said.

“It has also exposed the tens of millions of dollars from foreign adversaries being paid to shell companies controlled by the president’s son, brother and their business associates,” he added. “Now, the appropriate step is to place key witnesses under oath and question them under the penalty of perjury, to fill gaps in the record.” (Read more from “House Speaker Mike Johnson Calls for Witnesses Under Oath in Biden Impeachment Inquiry” HERE)

New Management: Johnson To Shake up House Leadership

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will run the House Elected Leadership Committee and will eliminate the chairmanship role, the Washington Examiner learned Monday.

The shake-up is the latest example of Johnson making leadership moves in his two weeks on the job, succeeding Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who was ousted on Oct. 3 by a small group of GOP rebels.

Under McCarthy, the Elected Leadership Committee was led by Rep. Garret Graves (R-LA), who was not in elected leadership. However, Graves, a staunch ally of McCarthy, was tasked with leading the meetings and acted as the point man for the former speaker. ‘Brace Yourself, Dear Reader’: Mike Johnson ‘Bombshell’ Rocks Political World

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, who has publicly affirmed his Christian faith and the fact it influences his life, has been a target for scandal-hunting leftists ever since his election just weeks ago.

And Rolling Stone now has succeeded in finding … well, something.

Its bombshell confirms that Johnson doesn’t watch porn.

A report at RedState.com turned sarcastic from the first word, documenting the “bombshell,” with, “Brace yourself, dear reader. Rolling Stone magazine has published a bombshell report exposing newly-minted House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA., for – not watching pornography.

“That’s right, folks. In this latest episode of ‘Let’s Get Outraged Over Silliness,’ the alleged news outlet published a piece detailing how he and his son keep each other accountable for the material they view on the internet.”

New House Speaker Mike Johnson Lays Out Plans to Impeach Biden

Newly minted House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA.) suggests that one of his first business orders is to advance efforts to impeach President Joe Biden.

During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Johnson said that removing Biden from office is a real possibility due to the president’s ties to his family’s corrupt money-funneling scheme.

Johnson said that the Republican Party is the rule-of-law party and will follow the truth where it leads and engage in due process.

“We have the receipts on so much of this now,” Johnson explained, suggesting that Biden was involved in his family’s foreign business dealings. “It’s a real problem.”

“That’s the reason that we shifted into the impeachment inquiry stage on the president himself because if, in fact, all the evidence leads to where we believe it will, that’s very likely impeachable offenses,” he added. “That’s listed as a cause for impeachment in the Constitution — bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors.” (Read more from “New House Speaker Mike Johnson Lays Out Plans to Impeach Biden” HERE)

‘Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures’: Speaker Johnson Reveals Intent to Issue Hunter Biden Subpoena

House Speaker Mike Johnson revealed his intent to issue a subpoena to Hunter Biden in an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“I think that desperate times call for desperate measures,” Johnson told Bartiromo when asked if he expected to subpoena the president’s son.

Johnson said that “a full decision” has yet to be made regarding the subpoena, noting that he is counseling with “the attorney involved in all of this” before taking action. The newly elected Republican speaker stated that the House is “trying to move forward on some of this very aggressively.”

“I think the American people are owed these answers, and I think our suspicions about all this, the evidence that we’ve gathered so far, as you know, is affirming what many of us feared may be the worst,” Johnson said. “And, you know, as [James] Comer likes to say, ‘Bank records don’t lie.’ We already have a lot of this evidence. The dots are being connected, and we’ll see where it leads.” (Read more from “‘Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures’: Speaker Johnson Reveals Intent to Issue Hunter Biden Subpoena” HERE)
