Phoenix Organizer Final Words: ‘I’m Going Into Hiding . . . This Is Tyranny, Terrorism Right Here in America’

The organizer of a free-speech rally held outside a Phoenix mosque Friday said he and his family are going into hiding after threats on his life.

Friday’s protest, organized by former Marine Jon Ritzheimer, was held outside the Islamic Community Center, a mosque attended by the two men who were killed by police after they attacked the Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas. The protest was peaceful, thanks in part to a heavy police presence, although it attracted a vocal counter-protest . . .

“They’re mad at us for exercising our First Amendment rights,” he said. “This is further proof that our First Amendment is under attack. This is tyranny right here. This is tyranny at its finest” . . .

“I’m having to sell my house. My family is in hiding right now,” he said. “I’m having to go into hiding after this because they’re calling for a ‘lone wolf’ to come and behead me. That’s following their book as it’s written … and that’s tyranny . . .

When asked if the event was worth the trouble, Ritzheimer paused for a moment before saying, “Let’s ask our Founding Fathers if it was worth it for them to sign the Declaration of Independence.” (Read more from “Phoenix Organizer Final Words: ‘I’m Going Into Hiding . . . Comedian Calls Out Muhammad for Pedophilia, Gets Hammered With Death Threats (+video)

Photo Credit: YouTubeComedian Steven Crowder’s recent “Jesus vs. Muhammad” video – just posted this week – has gone viral, generating almost 250,000 views.

Why? Its content is a bit edgy, calling out Muhammad for pedophilia and the Koran for its incitement of violence.

As one might expect, that has generated significant backlash. Crowder is reporting from his Twitter account that he has received many death threats, profanity-laced insults, and other not-so-nice reactions from Muhammad defenders on social media.

Here’s the video that’s created all the fuss:

Must Watch Video: Radio Hosts Suspended for Encouraging Listeners to Put Up YouTubes Saying, “Muhammad Sucks A**”

Yesterday, two popular radio hosts in northern California encouraged their listeners to “swamp the world” with articles and YouTube’s saying, “Muhammad sucks a**.”

They also suggested that videos be produced suggesting that “Muhammad’s a goat rapist” and that websites be set up with addresses like “MuhammadBarnLove.com.” Why? They’re convinced that this will either force the Islamic radicals to “grow up” or we’ll “get it on” and take care of the problem.

The hosts observed that Islam is a religion of submission, not peace. One host said Muslims want to “Set fire to the olive branch.”

They also stated that our “sacred principles,” namely the First Amendment, permit all Americans to “denigrate any damn religion [they] want” and that “if Mitt and his guys don’t jump on this, they aren’t fit to be dog catcher, much less President.”

Finally, they asserted that some of the supposedly offensive videos may have been “made up as an excuse to blow up stuff.”

These comments may have cost the hosts their jobs:

Radio Hosts Suspended For ‘Anti-Muslim’ Remarks (+video)

By NewsGuy. A popular northern California morning radio team was abruptly suspended Tuesday, after calling on their listeners to make cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to teach Muslims a lesson about American-styled free speech.

“Some of you people that are good with the computer – make an anti-Mohammed ad post it to Al Jazeera,” said Jack Armstrong of the San Francisco Bay Area morning team Armstrong and Getty on Monday. “We need to swamp them with ads until they grow up.”

The comments were brought about during a heated discussion about last Friday’s rioting in the Muslim world over a YouTube video defaming the Prophet Mohammed and Islam. “It’s absolutely unbelievable that we [the United States] have been put in a position where we’re apologizing [for the video], and nobody condemns them [for their violence],” Armstrong said.

Armstrong and Getty also mocked President Obama and the US State Department for what they described as an “apology” to Muslims about the video.

“Nobody delivers the incredibly complicated message of, ‘listen, you can burn this embassy or you can ignore it [the video] completely, the results will still be the same,’” added co-host Joe Getty. “Just settle down.” Read more from this story HERE.

Here’s a local news report on the co-hosts’ controversial statements:

Son of Hamas Founder: “Islam is a Religion of War”

[Publisher’s note: Although this article was published several months ago, the below-interview provides insights into the violence that is currently spreading across the Muslim world]

Mosab Hassan Yousef has a knack for controversy. The son of Hamas founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, he has already broken every taboo in the Palestinian book. He has worked for Israeli intelligence and converted to Christianity. Now he is developing a new film which is sure to be no less sensational: a biography of the life of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam.

Yousef, 33, broke ranks with Hamas in 1997 and began working for the Israeli internal intelligence service Shin Bet. Ten years later, after helping Israel thwart dozens of terror attacks and arrest many members of his former movement, Yousef left for the United States where he sought political asylum and later converted to Christianity.

Today, he says, he is back in Israel for the first time on a personal visit “to inspire a new generation of Palestinians.”

“I love Israel because I love democracy,” he told journalists in Jerusalem Tuesday. “I am here to protest religion’s absolute control of people’s lives.”

Standing next to his retired Shin Bet handler, Gonen Ben-Itzhak, Yousef refused to answer questions in Arabic. He said he was on a mission to educate the public about the true nature of his former religion.

“Islam is not a religion of peace. It’s a religion of war,” he said. “Muslims don’t even know the true nature of their own religion.”
