Why Did NBC Censor an NFL Player Holding up Christian Jewelry?

Saturday night’s NFL playoff game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Los Angeles Chargers was one for the ages. The Jaguars completed one of the biggest comebacks in NFL history, overcoming a 27-0 deficit and winning the game on a last-second field goal by kicker Riley Patterson.

Jaguars kicker Riley Patterson held up his cross necklace for the camera after kicking the game winner.

Before the kick, Patterson pulled out a cross he was wearing around his neck and kissed it. After his game-winning boot, while celebrating, Patterson held up the cross in what appeared to be his way of giving thanks to God. Yet, as soon as he did this, NBC purposely seemed to cut away from Patterson holding up the cross.

Based on the sequence of events and the many cameras that refused to show Patterson holding up his cross, this appeared to occur on purpose. It would be a logical conclusion to anyone who watched the kick live. The entire incident was trending on Twitter Saturday night, with many people noticing that NBC cut away from Patterson as soon as he held up his cross.

This was a stark contrast from when network cameras focused intensely on NFL players kneeling for the anthem a few years back. NBC had every opportunity to show Patterson, but each time they tried to cut to him after the kick, he was holding up his cross, and cameras almost immediately cut away before it appeared on television.

Damar Hamlin Wakes Up, Asks Doctors ‘Who Won the Game?’

Stricken NFL player Damar Hamlin has shown vast improvement today and is reportedly awake, moving his hands and feet, and even writing messages to respond to questions.

Doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center said Thursday that Hamlin has made “substantial improvement” after his cardiac arrest on the field during the Jan. 3 broadcast of the NFL’s Monday Night Football.

While Hamlin is still considered “critically ill,” one of the doctors, Timothy Pritts, told the media on Thursday that the player’s cognitive functions seem intact, according to ESPN.

The doctors added that Hamlin is moving his extremities and has been able to write answers to questions. However, they noted that he is still intubated and on a respirator, so he is unable to speak.

Pritts said that one of Hamlin’s first questions was whether the Bills won the game on Monday. (Read more from “Damar Hamlin Wakes Up, Asks Doctors ‘Who Won the Game?’” HERE)

We Have an Update on Bills Safety Damar Hamlin’s Scary Medical Emergency

. . .What happened last night has been described as unprecedented and a medical calamity. With an initial goal of just $2,500, Hamlin’s toy drive charity has raked in over $4 million in donations. The NFL says there are no plans to reschedule the game this week.

. . .

Hamlin remains in critical condition, but why his heart stopped remains a lingering question. Was it due to the COVID vaccine? Was it something genetic? Let’s all settle down and hope Hamlin comes out of this. Why his heart stopped is hardly important right now.

NFL Goes Completely Woke, Pushes Pro-tranny. Anti-Gun Themes; Conservatives Say “No More”

. . .The NFL of the 2022 offseason is, in other words, much about what we’ve all come to expect of the most popular sports league in America.

. . .Things the league would have never touched a generation ago or perhaps even a few years ago. Things that enchant half the country and enrage the other half.

And, apparently not coincidently, the side always enchanted is the political left. And the side the league routinely enrages is the political right. . .

And the league isn’t hiding from this in any way. It’s out in the open about what it supports. Just look at the NFL’s Twitter account.

The pinned tweet is promoting LGBTQ pride month. Except the NFL doesn’t just say it’s celebrating pride month. It says “we are proud to support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community every day, not just in June.”

Several NFL Games Postponed Because of COVID-19

Multiple games in the NFL have been postponed for the first time this season due to a spike in positive COVID-19 cases, landing dozens of players on their team’s COVID-19 reserve list.

“[Las Vegas] Raiders at [Cleveland] Browns now will be played Monday night at 5 pm ET, per sources,” ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted Friday. . .

A short time later, tweets surfaced that two more games had been postponed due to coronavirus outbreaks on both the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Football Team, Yahoo Sports.com noted.

“Seahawks at Rams, and WFT at Eagles both are now expected to be rescheduled for Tuesday, per sources,” a third post read from Schefter. . .

“We have made these schedule changes based on medical advice and after discussion with the NFLPA as we are seeing a new, highly transmissible form of the virus this week resulting in a substantial increase in cases across the league,” the NFL shared in the press release. “We continue to make decisions in consultation with medical experts to ensure the health and safety of the NFL community.” (Read more from “Several NFL Games Postponed Because of COVID-19” HERE)

Aaron Rodgers Blames ‘Woke Mob’ in First Interview Since COVID Drama (VIDEO)

Two days after the news that he tested positive for COVID-19, was not vaccinated, and would be missing Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, Aaron Rodgers told his side of the story.

Rodgers appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show,” speaking for about 15 minutes uninterrupted about all the dynamics that went into his decision not to be vaccinated — and all of his issues with the backlash he has received.

“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I’d like to set the record straight on some of the blatant lies that are out there about myself right now,” Rodgers began.

Rodgers said he didn’t “lie” during his initial press conference, and there was a “witch hunt” going on in the media over who was unvaccinated. He said his plan was to say that he had been immunized. . .

“I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something. Health is not a one-size-fits-all for everybody,” Rodgers said.
