“NFL = Slavery” — Kaepernick Still Cashing Checks From Nike, Which Is Accused of Using Slave Labor in China (VIDEO)

Even as he likens the National Football League to modern-day slavery, former NFL player Colin Kaepernick continues cashing massive checks from Nike, which was named among a group of brands benefitting from China’s slave labor program.

Kaepernick’s new bio-doc, Colin in Black & White, recently dropped on Netflix, and in one episode, Kaepernick claimed that being an NFL player is something akin to modern-day slavery. During a scene, Kaepernick decries that the players are “poked, prodded, and examined” for defects ahead of an NFL Draft. And in another, the show portrays players standing on an auction block as white people bid on them.

Kaepernick adds that this process is how “they” establish a “power dynamic” over the black players.

The controversial, former second-string quarterback more famous for protesting against our nation than for playing football didn’t mention in his bio-doc that white NFL players go through the same process to be drafted into the league.

Yet, there is something bigger that Kaepernick did not feel disposed to mention to his fans in his bio-doc. He has a bit of a slavery problem of his own. Kapernick has for years been a multimillion-dollar partner with Nike, one of the world’s biggest sportswear makers. And it just so happens that during the entire time that Nike has capitalized on Kaepernick’s popularity in some circles, the company has been embroiled in accusations that it uses Chinese slave labor to produce its products. Here’s How Much Unvaccinated NFL Players Will Be Fined

The NFL will be handing out $14,650 fines to unvaccinated players who violate the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

This comes after the NFL on Thursday told teams that they would have to forfeit games if outbreaks among unvaccinated players results in them being unable to play.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a memo that in such situations, players from both teams would lose money, according to ESPN. He also said that he “retains the authority to impose additional sanctions, particularly if the Covid outbreak is reasonably determined to be the result of a failure by club personnel to follow applicable protocols.”

The league’s measures for unvaccinated athletes would include requiring masks and imposing restrictions on the number of people and types of settings they can gather in for social events. (Read more from “Here’s How Much Unvaccinated NFL Players Will Be Fined” HERE)

NFL Comes Out of the Closet, Admits ‘Football Is Gay’

The National Football League, in recent years frantic to adapt its policies and practices to meet the requirements of the socially correct in society, has released a video admitting it is “gay.”

And “lesbian.” . . .

Twitchy said, “With only two days left in Pride month, the NFL is debuting its new 30-second video in which it declares that football is gay, and lesbian, and transsexual, as well as accepting and American. TMZ was on it, and maybe it’s just the 13-year-old boy inside us that really got a laugh out of the headline:” (Read more from “NFL Comes Out of the Closet, Admits ‘Football Is Gay'” HERE)

Player Goes Against NFL, Will Decide Who He Honors on His Helmet

Pittsburgh Steelers center and co-captain Maurkice Pouncey announced that he would decide whose name is on the back of his helmet, not who the Steelers or the NFL tell him to honor. Pouncey is going against the league, which is honoring a victim of a police shooting, who was also reportedly involved in a drive-by shooting. . .

The Steelers played the New York Giants on Monday night. The Pittsburgh players, including Pouncey, had the name “Antwon Rose Jr.” on the back of their helmets. On Thursday, Pouncey announced that he regretted wearing the tribute and would not wear Antwon Rose’s name on the back of his helmet for the rest of the season.

“I was given limited information on the situation regarding Antwon, and I was unaware of the whole story surrounding his death and what transpired during the trial following the tragedy,” said Pouncey, who was named the Steelers’ 2019 nominee as the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award for “exceptional character and work off the football field.” “I should have done more research to fully understand what occurred in its entirety.”

“My work with the police, both in Pittsburgh and back home in Florida, is well documented,” the Pittsburgh lineman said. “I don’t always feel the need to highlight what I do with the police departments, but I also want to make sure they understand I inadvertently supported a cause of which I did not fully comprehend the entire background of the case. I take responsibility for not doing more investigating into something that is sensitive to the community and his family, but it is a lesson learned as it relates to political issues that occur every day in our society.

“Moving forward, I will make my own decision about what to wear on the back of my helmet,” Pouncey continued. “Make no mistake, I am against racism and I believe the best thing I can do is to continue helping repair relationships between the police and their communities. Systemic racism issues have occurred in our country for too long, and that needs to stop.” (Read more from “Player Goes Against NFL, Will Decide Who He Honors on His Helmet” HERE)

WATCH: Fans Boo as Chiefs and Houston Texans Players Lock Arms in Solidarity for Social Justice

Fans appeared to be unsatisfied after National Football League players locked arms in solidarity for social justice causes.

At the NFL’s kickoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans, players from both teams locked arms in unity as part of protests against racism, prompting loud boos from fans. One person is heard yelling, “Trump 2020!”

(Editor’s note: since posting this story, the NFL has blocked playing the below video on Restoring Liberty. Big surprise. However, you can still see the video by clicking the link in the disabled YouTube window below)

The moment followed a decision from the Texans to remain in their locker room during both the national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a song that’s been dubbed the African American anthem. During “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the Chiefs reportedly locked arms along one end zone. . .

Why Is NFL Player Drew Brees Wearing the Name of an Alleged Rapist on His Helmet?

Last Friday, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his team broke with the pack to hold practice as nine other NFL teams canceled theirs in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake. They put Blake’s name in big black letters across the front of their helmets in what Sporstcasting.com writer Stephen Sheehan called “a powerful visual signal.” . . .

If Blake were an innocent family man who just happened to twitch during a tense encounter with police, this would all seem perfectly appropriate. There’s just one problem: not only was Blake aggressively resisting arrest in the incident that’s left him paralyzed, but he also had a warrant out for his arrest due to a charge of sexual assault.

According to research by The New York Post, Blake was forbidden from being at the Kenosha home where he was shot because of an incident at the same residence on May 3, for which there was an open warrant for his arrest. Based on police records, The New York Post describes the alleged assault:

The victim, who is only identified by her initials in the paperwork, told police she was asleep in bed with one of her children when Blake came into the room around 6 a.m. and allegedly said ‘I want my sh-t,’ the record states.

She told cops Blake then used his finger to sexually assault her, sniffed it and said, ‘Smells like you’ve been with other men,’ the criminal complaint alleges.

The NFL Just Declared War on Church (VIDEO)

A deal reached by the National Football League and the NFL Players Association bans players from attending any indoor church services that are above 25 percent capacity, multiple sources told NBC Sports on Saturday.

Alongside its restrictions on attending worship services, the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) also prohibits players from attending indoor nightclubs and bars (except for take-out), indoor concerts, professional sports games, and indoor parties that include 15 or more people.

The deal has not been publicly released, but NBC Sports made no mention of any restrictions on attending protests. Meanwhile, the NFL’s Twitter account has been sharing and celebrating pictures of players engaging in protests around the country.

Former NFL Player Offers to Send People Who Want to Defund Police to Countries Without Them

Former NFL running back Herschel Walker offered to work with airlines to send people who want to defund the police to countries without them.

Walker, who played 12 years in the NFL, took his thoughts to Twitter in response to people who want to eliminate police departments across the United States.

“I have an idea… For all these people who don’t want any police, I’d love to meet with American Airlines, Delta, and Southwest and make a deal to fly them to countries that don’t have police. I want them to be happy!” Walker wrote.

On Sunday, Walker said that he would volunteer to serve as a black leader to help bring members of Congress together with “leaders from all ethnic groups, both left and right, to find solutions.”

NFL Player Fined $7,000 for Wearing ‘Man of God’ Headband UNDER Helmet

A New Orleans Saints linebacker says he will stop wearing a “Man of God” headband after being fined by the NFL.

The Saints’ Demario Davis wore a headband with the words “Man of God” the first three weeks of the season before the NFL noticed and fined him $7,017. League policy prohibits “personal messages” on the uniform. . .

Davis is vocal about his faith. His Twitter and Instagram bios read “Servant of Christ.” He’s also founder of the Devoted Dreamers Foundation, a faith-based organization for inner-city children.

“I don’t think a lot of people were aware of the policy that was in place – I wasn’t even fully aware of it,” Davis told the newspaper about the policy and his headband. “I just wanted to put it out and just kind of help fans who care about the game understand a more intricate part of the game.” . . .

“Of course you don’t want to be fined,” Davis told the newspaper. “Nobody wants to lose money but I think any time that the conversation about God is brought up, especially in these times, I think it’s always a positive or silver lining.” (Read more from “NFL Player Fined $7,000 for Wearing ‘Man of God’ Headband UNDER Helmet” HERE)
