Former Child Star Details Alleged Sexual Assault by Nickelodeon Representative

Famous actor Drake Bell detailed the alleged sexual assault he suffered at the hands of Nickelodeon dialogue and acting coach, Brian Peck.

He revealed his whole story in the upcoming documentary “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” set to air the upcoming ID documentary on March 17 and 18, according to Variety. “My name is Drake Bell and I came here today to tell my story,” he said at the opening of the film. “The abuse was extensive and it got pretty brutal. I don’t know how to elaborate on that on camera, really … Why don’t you think of the worst stuff that someone could do to somebody as a sexual assault, and then I’ll answer your question? I don’t know how else to put it.”

Bell said Peck allegedly groomed him and earned his trust, as well as that of his parents. He said the majority of the parents of child actors felt he could be trusted, and had no idea what was allegedly happening behind closed doors. He allegedly spent many nights at Peck’s home, when suddenly, “everything changed with Brian one morning,” he said, according to Variety.

“I was sleeping on the couch where I would usually sleep. I woke up to him — I opened my eyes, I woke up and he was sexually assaulting me,” Bell said, according to Variety.

“I froze and was in complete shock and had no idea what to do or how to react, and I have no idea how to get out of this situation.” (Read more from “Former Child Star Details Alleged Sexual Assault by Nickelodeon Representative” HERE)

Former Nickelodeon Star Claims He Was Molested by Dialogue Coach

Drake Bell, known for his roles in multiple Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh” has opened up for the first time the abuse he allegedly endured at the hands of a dialogue coach, Variety reported Tuesday.

Brian Peck, served as a dialogue coach on “All That” and “The Amanda Show” before being charged with sexually abusing a child, according to Variety. Bell’s tenure on “The Amanda Show” from 1999 to 2002 laid the foundation for his subsequent success on “Drake & Josh.” But behind the scenes, the former Nickelodeon star claims that Peck sexually abused him during this period.

Peck’s legal troubles culminated in a 2004 conviction for lewd acts with a minor and oral copulation with a minor under 16, leading to a 16-month prison sentence and mandatory sex offender registration, the outlet reported. The identity of the victims involved remains undisclosed.

The specifics of the abuse are expected to be disclosed when the new Investigation Discovery docuseries, “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” premieres later in March.

Groomer-Gate: Times Disney Promoted LGBTQAI2s+ in Children’s Programing

Anyone who has been paying attention to the Walt Disney Co. in recent years knows that the studio has made no secret about incorporating gay and transgender messaging into its content aimed at children.

From Pixar to Marvel to Star Wars, Disney properties have fully embraced the LGBTQAI2S+ movement and are only ramping up their efforts, especially with the Disney+ streaming service providing another pathway into the minds of young children. . .

Last year, Disney+ hosted This Is Me: Pride Celebration Spectacular, a musical special on YouTube starring drag queen Nina West, with performances of popular Disney songs re-imagine with LGBTQ themes. Among the performers were gender-fluid singer Alex Newell and gender non-binary performer Jesse James Keitel.

This animated Pixar short tells the story of a young man named Greg who doesn’t want his parents to discover his relationship with his boyfriend, Manuel. The movie culminates with a gay kiss. “I’d never seen two guys kissing in a Disney movie,” said writer-director Steven Hunter in an interview. . .

In a casting notice that surfaced last year, Pixar is looking to cast the role of a “14-year-old transgender girl” in an upcoming animated project. The studio is looking for minors age 12 to 17 who “can authentically portray” the character “Jess,” who is described as “compassionate, funny, and always has your back.”
