Skier Suffers Frozen Penis in Olympics Mass Start Race

The men’s 50km mass start race at the Beijing Games was shortened to 30km but that did little to help Finland’s Remi Lindholm, who needed a heat pack at the end of the race to thaw out a particularly sensitive body part.

Lindholm spent just under an hour and 16 minutes traversing the course in howling, freezing winds, leading to his penis becoming frozen for the second time in a cross-country skiing race following a similar incident in Ruka, Finland last year.

“You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished (the men’s Olympic 50km race) … it was one of the worst competitions I’ve been in. It was just about battling through,” he told Finnish media. (Read more from “Skier Suffers Frozen Penis in Olympics Mass Start Race” HERE)

Team USA Olympian Blasted as ‘Traitor’ on Chinese Social Media

After leading Team USA to a silver medal in the team figure skating competition and winning his first Olympic gold in the men’s individual event, Nathan Chen has been slammed on Weibo — the Chinese equivalent of Twitter.

The 22-year-old Chinese-American was labeled a “traitor” on the social media platform for choosing to represent the United States, and was even told to “get out of China.” After his victory Thursday, some on Weibo complained that Chen was “too white” and Americanized, citing a long list of examples where they thought Chen was “insulting China” with his actions.

Chen has previously refused to speak Chinese interviews, claiming that his Mandarin “isn’t very good.”

The Yale student put his support behind American ice dancer Evan Bates’ condemnation of China’s human rights abuses in an October interview. At the time, Bates came down hard on China’s “awful” treatment of the Uyghur people. The US did not send any diplomats to the Winter Olympics in Beijing because of the “egregious human rights abuses and atrocities.”

According to Reuters, Bates said, “We’re human beings, too, and when we read and hear about the things that are happening there, we absolutely hate that. We hate what’s going on there,” during a US Olympic and Paralympic Committee event. (Read more from “Team USA Olympian Blasted as ‘Traitor’ on Chinese Social Media” HERE)

Nyet Again! Russia’s Olympic Darling Believed to Have Failed Drug Test

The darling of the 2022 Olympics is at the center of a brewing drug controversy.

Kamila Valieva, the 15-year-old Russian skating sensation, failed a drug test taken before the team competition, according to reports from the website Inside the Games and a Russian newspaper.

The news came after Valieva led the Russian team to gold on Monday, when she twice landed a historic quad jump. The teen figure skater became the first woman to land a quad jump at the Olympics.

The reports, labeled a “legal issue,” caused the medal ceremony to be delayed.

The International Testing Agency (ITA), which is conducting drug testing at Beijing 2022, released a statement saying it is aware of the reports about the situation. (Read more from “Nyet Again! Russia’s Olympic Darling Believed to Have Failed Drug Test” HERE)

WATCH: Olympians in Tears Over Poor Living Conditions, Lack of Food at Winter Games

. . .Complaints from athletes and officials are pouring in about the alleged poor living conditions, dining options, isolating rooms, and debilitating weather conditions, according to social media posts.

German Alpine skiing coach Christian Schwaiger criticized the catering in Beijing and raised concern about limited food options to fuel the high-performing pro athletes.

“The catering is extremely questionable because really it’s not catering at all. “There are no hot meals,” Schwaiger said, via the Sun. . .

Valeria Vasnetsova, a Russian biathlon competitor, took to Instagram to discuss her experiences under Beijing’s strict quarantine conditions.

“I’ve been getting this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for five days now. I’ve lost a lot of weight and my bones are sticking out. I can’t eat anything else, I don’t know anything about my corona tests,” Vasnetsova wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. Report: China’s Uyghur Torchbearer Vanishes After Poor Showing; Is China Using COVID Quarantines to Rig the Winter Olympics? Athletes Blow the Lid, and It’s Chilling

By Breitbart. The Wall Street Journal revealed on Sunday that Dinigeer Yilamujiang, a Uyghur athlete who China made an Olympic torchbearer for the Opening Ceremonies, violated Olympic rules and failed to meet journalists after a poor performance on Saturday.

Upon Yilamujiang’s 43rd place finish in the cross-country ski event, she did not pass through the mandatory media zone for interviews, a violation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) rules, according to the Journal. Reporters waited indefinitely for her, as no officials notified them that she would not be coming. The newspaper noted that her whereabouts remain unknown to foreign reporters at the time of the article’s publication.

The IOC declined to comment to the Journal on Yilamujiang’s absence. Likewise, China’s National Olympic Committee did not respond to the publication’s request for comment.

After the event, Yilamujiang’s name was reportedly barely mentioned by Chinese state media.

“Though Ms. Yilamujiang wasn’t available to answer journalists’ questions after Saturday’s race, China’s state-run broadcaster did have an exclusive interview, in which she expressed incredulity at having been entrusted with the role of torchbearer,” the Journal reported. Is China Using COVID Quarantines to Rig the Winter Olympics? Athletes Blow the Lid, and It’s Chilling

By WND. . .According to the UK Daily Mail, dozens of athletes said they had experienced inhumane conditions while in isolation due to positive COVID-19 tests.

Russian biathlete Valeria Vasnetsova said she was served an extremely small and unappealing meal three times a day for five days while she was in isolation. By the end, she said her “bones [were] sticking out,” the Daily Mail reported. . .

Polish speed skater Natalia Maliszewska had a similarly terrible experience. She said she was repeatedly moved into and out of isolation due to conflicting results from the unreliable COVID-19 tests being used in China.

One particular night was burned into her memory. She was woken up in the middle of the night and told she would be able to return to the Olympic Village, but officials then reversed their decision and sent her back to isolation. Ratings for Beijing Olympics Tank; 2022 Opening Ceremony Hit All-Time Low in TV Viewership

Thus far, the 2022 Beijing Olympics have been an absolute flop. The ratings for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics hit all-time lows.

On Saturday, NBC Sports revealed that Friday’s full-day opening ceremony coverage averaged “nearly 14 million TV-only viewers.”

The viewership plunged 43% from the opening ceremony for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, which had 23.8 million people watching the international sporting event.

“The previous low over the last three decades was the 1992 Barcelona games, which had 21.6 million viewers,” noted The Wrap which added, “The high watermark for an opening ceremony was the London Games in 2012, when more than 40 million tuned into NBC’s tape-delayed coverage.”

Deadline reported, “A paltry 8.7 million tuned in on NBC in primetime see the pre-taped Mike Tirico and Savannah Guthrie-led coverage of the propaganda-heavy spectacle put on by Chinese President Xi Jinping and filmmaker Zhang Yimou.” (Read more from “Ratings for Beijing Olympics Tank; 2022 Opening Ceremony Hit All-Time Low in TV Viewership” HERE)

No Fun at These Games: Inside China’s Horror Olympics’ Machine Where Children Are Beaten, Athletes Picked in DNA Selection

By The Sun. From humiliating punishments to invasive DNA testing, China’s prowess on the Olympic stage has come at a hefty price to thousands of children.

Communist Party-backed sports officials ruthlessly select and train competitors from an early age – with children as young as four being enlisted to train for glory at the Olympics.

With a colossal population of 1.4 billion, China has a sprawling state-backed operation that puts young athletes through brutal training regiments to prepare them for the world stage. . .

The state sends out scouts to hunt for tens of thousands of children for full-time training at more than 2,000 government-run sports schools.

Tests for selection see kids being given brutal challenges such as press-ups, endurance running and bench presses that prioritize overall strength over specific skills. Viewers to Boycott Genocide Games; Record Low Ratings Expected; Should the US Be Boycotting the Olympics?

By Breitbart. A Morning Consult poll is being framed around how viewership for the Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, may attract fewer viewers than the Tokyo Summer Games. But a major reason for the lack of interest is buried: 40 percent of Americans said the reason they aren’t tuning in is that the Communist Chinese Party is in charge of the event.

“Forty percent of those who don’t intend to watch pointed to China hosting the Games as a reason for tuning out, including 31 percent who cited it as a ‘major’ reason,” the polling group said of its survey. “Among Republicans who said they don’t expect to watch, 56 percent pointed to China as a reason, versus 28 percent among Democrats who don’t plan to watch.”

Political affiliation also showed up in the polling even without citing the communist Chinese hosts.

“Data collected during the Tokyo Games suggested that Democrats were significantly more likely to watch the Olympics than independents or Republicans. New data suggests the same partisan split will carry over to Beijing,” Morning Consult reported. “Fifty-seven percent of Democrats said they plan to watch at least some of the Beijing Games, compared with 40 percent of Republicans and 35 percent of independents.” (Read more from “Viewers to Boycott Genocide Games; Record Low Ratings Expected” HERE)

Chinese Security Thug Drags Reporter Away During Live Shot at Genocide Games

A reporter for a Dutch news outlet was dragged away on video by a Chinese security officer outside the arena during a live broadcast of the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony on Friday.

The reporter, Sjoerd den Daas, of NOS Nieuws (Nederlandse Omroep Stichting, a member of the Netherlands Public Broadcasting system) is seen in the clip being shoved and herded away from his camera by a Chinese security agent in a black jacket and red armband.

It is still unknown exactly what rule the reporter broke, and he was not detained, but the outrageous clip is evidence that the Red Chinese will brook no freedom of the press during the genocide games.

In its Tweet of the video clip, NOS wrote: “Our correspondent [den Daas] was pulled away from the camera by security guards at 12:00 pm live in the NOS Journal. Unfortunately, this is increasingly becoming a daily reality for journalists in China. He is fine and was able to finish his story a few minutes later.” (Read more from “Chinese Security Thug Drags Reporter Away During Live Shot at Genocide Games” HERE)

Seven Americans to Play Against USA on China’s Hockey Team

Eighteen of the 25 players representing China on its men’s ice hockey team at the Beijing Olympics were born or raised in North America, and many have no Chinese ancestry or connection to the country.

Seven of the players are American, 11 are Canadian, and one is Russian, according to a report.

One of those Americans is 30-year-old defenseman Jake Chelios, the son of American hockey legend and three-time Stanley Cup champion Chris Chelios.

In 2002, the younger Chelios watched his father represent the United States at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and now he is set to face off against his father’s team and his home nation on Feb. 10.

“I think half the family was a little confused of what was going on at first, but now they’re starting to understand how special it is,” Chelios said. (Read more from “Seven Americans to Play Against USA on China’s Hockey Team” HERE)
