Trump to Consider Invoking ‘Insurrection’ Law After Demonstrators Attack Rand Paul Outside W.H.

President Trump said Friday night he’s considering invoking the Insurrection Act of 1807 to deal with violent street protesters after Black Lives Matter activists attacked and harassed his supporters leaving the White House after the Republican National Convention.

At his first post-convention campaign rally, Mr. Trump told supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire, that “thugs” outside the White House attacked Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and others after they left his acceptance speech on the South Lawn early Friday morning.

“They took tremendous abuse,” Mr. Trump said. “Rand Paul was in big trouble last night. He’s a friend of mine. They walk out and they get accosted and they get abused. They get spit on. It’s a disgrace.”

The president said Mr. Paul “would be in either very bad shape or dead … and that would include his wife” if D.C. police hadn’t intervened.

He blamed Washington, D.C., Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser for allowing the “anarchists” to get close to the White House and vowed, “We’re not going to allow that to happen.” (Read more from “Trump to Consider Invoking ‘Insurrection’ Law After Demonstrators Attack Rand Paul Outside W.H.” HERE)

Missouri Couple Who Defended Home Against Protesters Facing Charges (VIDEO)

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner said Monday she’s charging the couple who flashed guns at a crowd marching to the mayor’s home last month, further igniting the gun-rights debate.

Gardner, the city’s top prosecutor, said Mark and Patricia McCloskey will be charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon following the June 28 incident.

“It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis,” Gardner said in a statement. She added that she was recommending a diversion program as an alternative to jail.

The McCloskeys have said many times they were defending themselves, with tensions high in St. Louis and other cities over race and law enforcement. They said that the crowd of demonstrators broke an iron gate marked with “No Trespassing” and “Private Street” signs, and that some violently threatened them.

In a statement to Fox News, the couple’s attorney, Joel Schwartz, called the charges “disheartening.”

Cops Seize Gun From Couple Who Defended Their Property From Protesters (VIDEO); St. Louis Couple Receive 50 Offers to Replace the AR-15

By The Federalist. Police reportedly executed a search warrant Friday evening, seizing a gun from the St. Louis couple who defended their home against a mob in late June.

Sources told 5 on Your Side, an NBC News affiliate, that police seized the rifle seen in footage of the central west end duo, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, both personal injury attorneys. The couple told police that the pistol brandished by Mrs. McCloskey was in their lawyer’s possession.

When a mob of people stormed through the McCloskey’s neighborhood early last week, in what the media described as a protest en route to the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson, the pair wielded firearms in front of their private residence to defend themselves and deter rioters.

. . .Many, including the corporate media, have criticized the couple for waving the firearms at protesters, calling their actions reckless and dangerous. Others have noted that amid rampant lawlessness, efforts to defund police departments, and an absence of strong local and state leadership, the Second Amendment empowers private citizens to protect their lives and their property. St. Louis Couple Receive 50 Offers to Replace the AR-15 Seized by Cops

By Daily Mail. The armed St. Louis couple who brandished guns during a Black Lives Matter protest have received at least 50 offers to replace the AR-15 seized by cops.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey’s attorney Joel Schwartz told Forbes a Missouri gun store was among those to have made the offers, which they are ‘kindly refuting’.

The couple, who are personal injury lawyers, were caught on video brandishing guns as demonstrators walked past their Renaissance palazzo-style home on June 28 while headed to protest outside of the mayor’s home nearby.

Authorities executed a search warrant Friday evening and the long-barreled gun Mark McCloskey, 61, was holding in the video was seized. ‘They took my AR. I’m absolutely surprised by this’, McCloskey said. (Read more from “St. Louis Couple Receive 50 Offers to Replace the AR-15 Seized by Cops” HERE)

Watch: D.C. Cop Schools Lefty Protestor Trying to Expel Conservative From Anti-Kavanaugh Rally

Turning Points USA was at an anti-Brett Kavanaugh rally this week. Its founder and leader Charlie Kirk did what he does best: owning liberals. Kavanaugh is a federal judge nominated to fill the vacancy left by the now-retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. It will give conservatives a solid 5-4 majority. It’s because of this that this nomination has garnered significant liberal opposition, with absurd talking points spewed by the Left. You’d think Kavanagh feeds on dead babies with how they’re painting him. In reality, he’s a solid conservative, mainstream, and a SCOTUS nominee with impeccable legal credentials. He’s eminently qualified to be the next jurist on the high court.

Turning Points did a video of Kirk walking around an anti-Kavanaugh rally, which was a sad display of willful ignorance. Kavanaugh has the votes to be confirmed. He will be confirmed when his nomination is voted out of committee—and the liberal hysteria will start all over again, especially with the GOP’s ace blocking of Obama nominee Merrick Garland. Besides Hillary Clinton losing 2016, the SCOTUS fight is another source of sour grapes for these people.

Kirk tries to talk to as many attendees as possible. Being on Fox News, he’s recognized by some, though he’s also not shy to hide his conservatism. Organizers for the rally warned attendees not to talk with him. One organizer tried to boot him from the area, even calling the Capitol Police. When they arrived, they simply told the woman that her right to free speech doesn’t trump his right; Kirk thanks the officer in the video.

Protesters have disrupted the Kavanaugh hearings with their antics; over 70 were arrested on Tuesday alone. They’re delusional. In the video, one speaker suggests their protests are making Kavanaugh mad. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Protesters Make Obscene Gesture at Victims of Communism Memorial

In late March, a group of protesters staged a demonstration at a memorial dedicated to victims of communist regimes by raising their middle fingers toward it.

The group gathered at the Victims of Communism Memorial in the District of Columbia and proceeded to broadcast their obscene gesture against the statue on Twitter. According to The Federalist, the small protest was part of a larger one held against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s conference—a pro-Israel gathering.

The photo was posted by a Twitter user with the handle @BlackAutonomist, a black liberation, pro-Palestine activist, according to his bio. Some commenters on the photo mocked the idea that communism has victims and posted imagery of a burning American flag.

The Daily Signal contacted the protester who posted the photo, and the individual rejected the opportunity to comment.

Lee Edwards, a founder and chairman of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, responded to this report by telling The Daily Signal:

I invite all those who recently disrespected the Victims of Communism Memorial to attend the 10th anniversary of the Memorial’s dedication on June 9 and to talk to the Chinese victims of Tiananmen Square, the Cambodian victims of the Khmer Rouge, the Russian victims of the Gulag, the Korean victims of the fanatical Kims, the Cuban victims of the Isle of Pines, the Hungarian victims of the 1956 Revolution, and all the other victims of communism.

“After which, I would hope they would tender an abject apology for their shameful action,” Edwards, who is also a distinguished fellow at The Heritage Foundation, added.

In contrast, Danilo Maldonado Machado, a Cuban graffiti artist known as El Sexto who was jailed under the communist regime, reacted to the memorial by posing in front of it with a solemn expression.

In response to the middle finger demonstration, Maldonado told The Daily Signal, “It is only fair that there is a monument to the indigenous victims … the victims who daily pass in these regions should [not] be disrespected.”

Maldonado also recently testified to a Senate subcommittee against the Castro regime by saying, “I ask the people and the government of the United States to pressure Raul Castro’s regime to release the thousands of political prisoners existent in my country … at least 85 percent of the present prison population would be considered innocent in any democratic country and would have never been sent to prison.”

The institution that sponsored the memorial, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, is a nonprofit created to commemorate those who were victimized under communist governments. It also advocates for the freedom of people who are still living under such regimes.

The memorial was opened on the 20th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s Brandenburg Gate speech against the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall, in which he said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.” President George W. Bush dedicated the statue.

According to the Victims of Communism website, private funds were raised to pay for the memorial and it was designed to look similar to the “Goddess of Democracy” statue erected by Chinese students in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, during their bloody protest against the Chinese government.

Etched into the front of the memorial is the dedication, “To the more than one hundred million victims of communism and to those who love liberty.” The back inscription says, “To the freedom and independence of all captive nations and peoples.” (For more from the author of “Protesters Make Obscene Gesture at Victims of Communism Memorial” please click HERE)

By Patrick Howley. Ferguson protesters spent the weekend after Christmas chanting “Deck The Halls With Rows of Dead Cops” just one week after the execution-style murders of New York City police officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

Anti-police protesters in Portland, Oregon sang parody Christmas carols Saturday night near Christmas decorations on Peacock Lane in the notoriously liberal city, including “Deck The Halls With Rows of Dead Cops.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Man Threatens to Kill Cops and Innocent White Kids, Gets Downplayed By Friend as ‘Speaking His Mind’

By Dave Urbanski. After a suburban Chicago man made threats on Facebook that he would “kill cops and innocent white kids,” police searched a home he sometimes stays at and arrested him on weapons and other charges, WLS-TV reported.

While Aries Woodfin, 33, wasn’t charged with making threats, a friend who owns the Ford Heights, Illinois, house where Woodfin was arrested downplayed his Facebook threat.

She said it was a reaction over the grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City where white police officers weren’t indicted for their roles in the deaths of unarmed black men.

“He was speaking his mind,” Beatrice Franklin told WLS. “He was expressing how he felt, which is what everyone else was doing on Facebook as well, expressing themselves. They were ranting and they were raving.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Al Sharpton’s Race War Being Funded by Major Retail Chain

By Conservative Tribune. The National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group, has made repeated requests to the international retail giant to stop funding Sharpton’s National Action Network, especially after the shooting deaths of two NYPD officers by an Islamic gang member whom many believe was inspired by Sharpton’s anti-police rhetoric.

But no policy change has been announced by the retailer.

In a 2009 email, Walmart addressed concerns of its shareholders about the company’s annual giving to NAN.

“Our support for NAN is focused on addressing health and wellness issues and other issues important to our customers and associates,” the email read (H/T Got News). “Our company will continue to support organizations that can further our mission to help people live better.” (Read more from this story HERE)
