Wisconsin Public Schools Provide Sanctuary For Accused Groomers And Sex Abusers

What do you get when a teacher’s union stooge steeped in left-wing dogma runs your public school system? Sanctuary for accused groomers and sex offenders.

Such is the case at Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction (DPI), run by teachers union pet Jill Underly. The bought-and-paid-for superintendent has presided over an educator licensing scandal that is as abhorrent as it is alarming.

Kudos to Madison’s Cap Times for committing a brazen act of journalism. The left-leaning newspaper’s year-long investigation found DPI “investigated” more than 200 teachers, aides, substitutes, and administrators “accused of sexual misconduct or grooming behaviors toward students” between 2018 and 2023.

“The department’s internal records show these allegations included educators sexually assaulting students, soliciting nude photos from children or initiating sexual relationships immediately after students graduated,” the news outlet reported. “Licensing officials also investigated educators accused of grooming behaviors like flirting with children, spending non-school time alone and isolated with students, or invading students’ personal space by rubbing their shoulders, thighs and lower backs.”

The publication found at least 44 percent of the public education regulator’s license probes over the period have involved sexual misconduct or grooming allegations. Of the 461 teachers investigated over the period for all forms of misconduct, 207 kept their licenses and were allowed to continue to work with children in schools, the Cap Times reported. HHS Ends Funding for Curriculums Asking Teens to Fantasize About Using Condoms

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is cracking down on the kinds of sexually perverse material being produced for children under its Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPPP), putting all recipients of federal grant funding on notice Wednesday, saying, “Federal funds may not be used to indoctrinate America’s children with radical ideologies or other inappropriate material.”

HHS’s notice also brigs the program in line with the Supreme Court’s opinion in Mahmoud v. Taylor last week, which acknowledges a parent’s right have advanced notice of content to opt their child out of material if they so choose.

“Program materials are expected reflect the immutable biological reality of sex, not radical gender ideology, and may not promote anti-American ideologies such as discriminatory equity ideology,” the announcement from HHS states. “Programs with such unauthorized content are not eligible for federal funding.”

The TPPP is intended “to reduce teen pregnancy through medically accurate and age-appropriate programming, not to promote harmful ideologies, risky sexual activity for minors, or other content outside the scope of the program,” HHS stated, but as documents obtained by The Federalist, and confirmed as authentic by an HHS official, show, the funding was being used to create curriculums that had children take part in graphic demonstrations of condom use and encouraged the use of pornography. Poll: Majority Favor Chaplains in Public Schools

A recent poll found a majority of adults think public schools should allow chaplains to support students.

The news is according to an Associated Press (AP) NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll, the outlet reported Thursday.

The poll showed 58 percent of adults surveyed think “religious chaplains providing support services in public schools should be allowed,” the survey said.

It noted that “Republicans are more likely than Democrats to think religious chaplains providing support services in public schools (70% v. 47%), teacher led prayers (60% v. 29%), and mandatory school prayer periods (49% v. 27%) should be allowed.”

The AP article also pointed to the debate on how religion should play a role on public school campuses and highlighted examples such as “a lawsuit against a new Arkansas measure that requires the display of the Ten Commandments in classrooms, a push by lawmakers in multiple states to allow religious chaplains to serve in student support roles in public schools, and the U.S. Supreme Court’s 4-4 decision that blocked plans for a publicly funded Catholic charter school in Oklahoma.” (Read more from “Poll: Majority Favor Chaplains in Public Schools” HERE)

What the Buffalo School System Is Doing Is Downright EVIL

. . .Over the weekend, Buffalo SVU Detective Rich Hy, known on social media as Angry Cops, was featured on a special episode of the Unsubscribe Podcast. There, he unveiled significant problems with the schools there. In particular, how they’re explicitly and actively working to protect people who hurt children, at least that’s how I see what he unveiled:

During the podcast, Detective Hy, at times fighting to maintain composure, described several troubling examples of his allegations. One of the examples was a case he directly investigated in his role with the SVU. He also expressed concerns that his whistleblower report could negatively impact his career in law enforcement.

Hy began with an incident at The Dr. Charles R. Drew Science Magnet Elementary School attached to the Buffalo Museum of Science.

“There is a school that’s attached to the Buffalo Science Museum. That school that’s attached to the Buffalo Science Museum has doors that can go from the Science Museum into the school. Those doors are not locked. Individuals can get into them. Right? Stranger danger, right? And that happened. So, a stranger went into the school. It’s a grade school; it’s a very low school, and this person grabbed a male and a female child.”

“So, it goes into the school and grabs a young female child and a male child and tries to leave. And I’m gonna I’m gonna parcel this story up in kind of the way that the information came in. At first, the information that came in was that there was one female child that was… uh, it was an attempted abduction. There was no report about the second child. Kind of a big deal. The second child the boy um had pissed himself and when his parents came…”

Hy paused to compose himself before continuing.

“When his parents came to pick him up the school did not disclose to the parents that the kid was a part of an attempted abduction. So, when parents asked him: “Why did my kid piss his pants at school?” The teachers and the people in charge did not tell them that there was an attempted abduction. The school then deleted the video of the attempted abduction.”

“The District Attorney’s Office only got it because somebody within the school had the wherewithal to record it and then give it to them. The district attorney’s office has sent subpoenas, so like court order documents from judges that are signed, to the school’s legal representatives and those representatives have intentionally not responded to them. Now here’s the weird thing which is like this is this is the biggest issue right here… is that specific one, is the one that sent me over the edge… Obviously, I’m emotional from it.

The biggest issue with this entire story… Well, one of the issues with this entire story is that, when subpoenaed, these legal representatives for the Buffalo School Department are ignoring the subpoenas and not just, not… not responding to them but being obstructionists and actually giving information to school administrators and school personnel to not talk to the police or assist the police in any way.”

Satanists Aim to Influence School Children With Lessons on ‘Empathy,’ ‘Justice’

Satanists are aiming to influence school children with their lessons of “empathy” and “justice” and more at an Ohio district where they are beginning to take part in a program in which students are released from classes for short times for instruction from their own church programs.

A report from WSYX explained the Satanists, part of the Satanic Temple, are using a new state procedure to begin “Hellions Academy of Independent Learning” for students at Marysville School District.

“When they hear it, it’s initially shocking, oh the Satanic Temple,” explained June Everett, a program promoter. She cited the lessons to teach empathy and justice “in a fun environment without religious pressure,” the report said.

The report explained, “HAIL was created as an alternative to Christian Release Time Religious Instruction programs (RTRI). Marysville is already involved with LifeWise Academy. Students within the district have been able to participate in the off-campus classes since September 2023.”

Community organizer Betty Elswick explained in the report she sought out the Satanic Temple to begin its work. (Read more from “Satanists Aim to Influence School Children With Lessons on ‘Empathy,’ ‘Justice’” HERE)

A Teen Told His Graduating Class Jesus Is ‘Your Answer.’ Now He’s Facing Consequences (VIDEO)

A Northern Kentucky high school student’s graduation speech sparked debate over the weekend after he urged his classmates to seek Jesus Christ as “your answer” for “the way, the truth and life.”

He didn’t receive his diploma and was asked to meet with his school principal because he added the religious message to his pre-approved speech, according to videos he posted on TikTok.

Micah Price said online, “I was told beforehand I wasn’t allowed to bring up Christ. … I did anyways.”

He graduated May 24 from Campbell County High School in Alexandria, about 30 minutes south of Cincinnati. The high school, which has about 1,500 students, draws from a predominantly suburban and rural part of the county.

Price said in his speech: “Class, before another word is to leave my mouth I must give the honor, the praise, and the glory to my lord and savior Jesus Christ, who in his very words tells us he is the light, he is the way, the truth and life. Class, anyone in the audience today, I’m here to tell you that if you don’t have any of those things in your life and can’t seem to find the answer, then my lord and savior is your answer.”

@countrysizzle This young man, Micah, delivered a wonderful speech Friday night at CCHS graduation ceremony. So much so that you could hear people discussing it as we left the event center. Following the ceremony, the school system decided to hold his diploma but has now agreed to a private meeting and return it. Here is a video of the speech (he truly is an amazing speaker) He has dedicated his future endeavors to protecting our country by joining the Air Force! Let’s stand up for him! #2024 #CCHS #SeniorYear #STANDUPFORMICAH #SUPPORTMICAHPRICE ♬ original sound – Christi Wagner

Will School Choice Win Out in Tennessee? Lawmakers Have Two Weeks to Finalize ‘Education Freedom’ Act

Tennessee’s Republican Governor Bill Lee is determined to make his state the latest to overhaul its education system to embrace school choice, but with a deadline to get it done just a few weeks away, several hurdles remain.

With two weeks remaining before the legislative session of the Tennessee General Assembly comes to a close, lawmakers in the state House and Senate have put forward two very different versions of Lee’s proposed school choice measure, known as the “Education Freedom Scholarship Act.” Despite the differences, both legislative leaders and Lee tell The Daily Wire they are confident they will get a school choice measure passed, though precisely what it will look like won’t be known until the end of the session on April 25.

Lee’s school choice plan calls for scholarships worth $7,000 to be made available to 20,000 students in the 2024-2025 school year. Of the available scholarships, half would be reserved for poor people, with the remaining half allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The goal for the next school year would be for universal eligibility for all students in the state to use at private schools, charter schools, or for homeschool families.

“A parent ought to decide where their kid goes to school and what they learn, and not the government,” Lee told The Daily Wire in an interview. “That’s what choice is really about: the government not deciding everything about a kid’s education in a state, but the parents deciding that.”

The House and Senate versions of the Education Freedom Scholarship Act have been working their way through committees over the last several weeks. Both versions set aside around $144 million for the 20,000 scholarships and do not automatically expand the amount of scholarships, meaning the cap would need to be lifted by future General Assemblies. They both also reserve 10,000 for lower-income students and 10,000 more broadly open for anyone. However, who and where the scholarships can be eligible depends on which version gets passed. Poll: Homeschooling Continues to Rise Dramatically

Homeschooling has become America’s fastest-growing form of education and continues to explode in popularity long after pandemic-era remote learning has ended, a new Washington Post analysis shows.

The dramatic rise in homeschooling that began during the pandemic continued through the school year that ended this past spring, according to the Post’s analysis, which looked at data from nearly 7,000 school districts across the country.

Homeschooling’s continued popularity flies in the face of predictions that most families would go back to in-person classes at schools once controversial pandemic restrictions like mask mandates ended. Another concern parents had after the pandemic is learning loss in public schools, which may also be driving some families to homeschool.

“Home schooling’s surging popularity crosses every measurable line of politics, geography and demographics,” the Post’s analysis stated.

The analysis looked at data from 32 states and the District of Columbia, which represent more than 60% of school-age children. The data is incomplete because some states do not have reliable tallies of homeschoolers, and 11 states, including Texas, Michigan, Connecticut, and Illinois, do not require families to notify the state when they decide to homeschool. School Teacher Uses Nazi Salute, Says to ‘Heil Hitler,’ but District Claims She Did Not ‘Intend to Cause Harm’

A Wisconsin middle school teacher allegedly made an antisemitic gesture and remark during her class, but she claimed she did not “intend to cause harm.”

A parent newsletter was released called “Elmbrook Community Need to Know” on September 21, which described an incident that reportedly took place in an eighth-grade math teacher’s class.

A female math teacher from Wisconsin Hills Middle School apparently gave the Nazi salute to her class, and then she went on to tell the students to respond with either “Heil Hitler” or “Heil [teacher’s surname].”

After the incident gained traction online, the school decided to send a letter to all families following the incident. The letter that was sent home to all parents was similar to a message that was sent specifically to students and families impacted by the event earlier in the week, according to Fox News.

Fox News Digital apparently received a letter written by Principal Matt Schroede, which was sent to all families of the middle school on Friday. The letter acknowledged that the incident had occurred, and that an investigation was underway. Biden-Appointed Judge Rules Religious Parents Can’t Opt Kids Out of Pro-LGBT School Lessons

As a new school year kicks into gear, a Biden-appointed federal judge is using the legal equivalent of grade inflation to prop up the misguided efforts of a local school board to indoctrinate students with gender ideology. On Aug. 24, the U.S. District Court judge denied a requested injunction from a group of Muslim, Catholic, and Orthodox parents to opt their children out of LGBT storybook lessons, exposing the judge’s grave misunderstanding of the Supreme Court’s religious freedom jurisprudence.

A stone’s throw from Washington, D.C., Montgomery County Public Schools is one of the largest public school systems in the country, with roughly 70,000 students attending elementary school. Last fall, the Montgomery County Board of Education announced it was adopting a collection of more than 20 “LGBTQ+ inclusive” books for use in pre-K through eighth-grade classrooms.

The collection calls for pre-K students ages 3-5 to read Pride Puppy!, the story of two women who take their children to a “Pride Day” parade. A word list using the letters of the alphabet to show what a child might see includes the words “leather,” “underwear,” and “[drag] queen.”

Fifth graders — typically 10- and 11-year-old children — will read Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope, about an elementary school-aged girl who tells her mother, “I don’t feel like a boy. I AM a boy.” Her mother agrees to tell their family “that we know … You are a boy.” But when Penelope’s brother protests, “You can’t become a boy. You have to be born one,” he’s told that “not everything needs to make sense. This is about love.” (Read more from “Biden-Appointed Judge Rules Religious Parents Can’t Opt Kids Out of Pro-LGBT School Lessons” HERE)
