Mom Scores $100,000 Legal Win After School Secretly Transitions Daughter

A mother from California was awarded a $100,000 judgment against the Spreckels Union School District after a middle school in the district secretly socially transitioned the woman’s 11-year-old daughter.

Jessica Konen’s daughter Alicia was referred to with male pronouns by teachers at Buena Vista Middle School and was permitted to use the boys’ bathroom, all without Konen’s knowledge or consent.

“Parents, please be bold, stand up for your children; fight for them, and fight for your rights,” Konen said in a video posted by the nonprofit Center for American Liberty following the ruling. “We let our voices be known, and we are so glad we did.”

Konen’s lawsuit said her daughter joined her school’s “Equality Club” in sixth grade and learned about “LGBT concepts,” transgenderism, and bisexuality, National Review reported. The school then helped to facilitate Alicia’s social gender transition, “giving her articles on how to conceal her supposed new gender identity from her mother and giving her a ‘Gender Support Plan’ that required school staff to refer to her by a male name,” the suit said. School District Postpones First Day of School as Teachers Go On Strike

A school district in Washington state will not begin the school year on time because the teachers union representing its staff announced it will go on strike on Wednesday, which was supposed to be the first day of school.

John Boyd, the superintendent of Evergreen Public Schools, which includes the city of Vancouver, Washington, informed families Tuesday night that school would not begin as scheduled on Wednesday because of a strike by the Evergreen Education Association, the district’s teachers union. The message said that schools would be closed indefinitely because of the labor stoppage.

“A strike is a major disruption to the lives of our students, staff, families, and school community,” Boyd said in the announcement. “The district is committed to continuing to bargain with the Evergreen Education Association (EEA) to reach an agreement that is fair to all and is affordable and sustainable.”

The union is demanding the school district ramp up staffing to serve special needs students, allow teachers to have “time to plan and collaborate,” and provide an increase in pay commensurate with inflation. Married Teacher Charged With Repeatedly Raping Student After Preaching About Consent

A married middle school teacher – who once posted about “helping kids understand consent” – was charged with raping a 14-year-old student in her car, prosecutors announced.

Melissa Rockensies, 32, was arrested Wednesday morning on allegations she had carried on a sick relationship with the boy at Corona Arts & Sciences Academy in New York City, where she was once the dean.

“These disturbing allegations represent an abuse of authority and a betrayal of the trust students and parents place in their schools,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement.

Rockensies was one of the victim’s summer school teachers and counselors when the alleged illicit relationship began, according to the criminal complaint.

Throughout America, parents by the millions send their precious children off to their local public schools, imagining their kids’ days will be filled with reading, writing and arithmetic, along with science, history, sports, music and group recreation, just like when they attended school decades ago.

However, they’re not only in for a shock – but for total betrayal. Today, what are still euphemistically called “public schools” (remember, “public” means “government”) have been transmogrified into far-left ideological, political and religious indoctrination centers aimed at reprogramming and transforming America’s children. . .

Briefly step inside today’s “hallowed halls of learning,” where most American children spend the major part of their young lives, and consider the dystopian reality of “public education” in 2023.

In thousands of schools today, students are literally taught to hate their own country. Children are being programmed, via various anti-American curricula – including the notorious “1619 Project” K-12 curricula already in use in at least 4,500 U.S. public schools – to loathe and feel ashamed of America as white supremacist, racist and even genocidal. They’re indoctrinated to regard all white people as racist, or at best as unjust beneficiaries of “white privilege,” and therefore still personally guilty for America’s deeply entrenched “systemic racism.”

Continuing our school tour, one soon encounters what all previous generations of Americans would have regarded as the criminal sexual abuse of children. ‘Parents Need to Wake Up’: Advocates Sound Alarm About Satanist After-School Clubs Sprouting Across the Country

The Satanic Temple (TST) made headlines in 2022 for fighting for the right to create after-school clubs for students and has recently been launching new groups across the country, raising concerns for religious advocates about the potential impact Satanism may have on students’ perception of faith.

A TST “After-School Satan Club” was approved in December 2022 at a Virginia elementary school, provoking many parents, who were disturbed by the push to indoctrinate children into Satanism, to protest the club, according to RealClearEducation. TST has announced the formation of multiple new clubs in New York, Pennsylvania and Colorado in just the past month and religious advocates have taken note of the trend, telling the Daily Caller News Foundation that the normalization of Satanism could be detrimental to students later in life.

“A satanic club is the antithesis of religion,” Penny Nance, CEO and president of Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest women’s public policy organization, told the DCNF. “Groups like this have free speech rights but Satanism is not a religion. The fact that there are more of these clubs popping up means kids are searching for something to believe in.”

“The decision to promote the Satanic Temple in schools is a concerning development in districts across the country,” Delano Squires, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family. “This group has no more ‘right’ to students and schools as a Neo-Nazi club demanding representation. Schools should use wisdom and discernment with regard to decisions related to extracurricular activities.”

TST argued on its Twitter account that an upcoming vote at a Virginia school would determine whether its club should be on “equal footing” with other school groups, particularly religious clubs.

An 11-year-old in Maine spoke out against “pornographic” content in his middle school and wants the administrators to be prosecuted.

Knox Zajac, an 11-year-old sixth-grader, spoke up at a school board meeting last week to read aloud from the book “Nick and Charlie” that he had checked out of his school’s library. The age advisory in this book is 14 years and older.

“Nick and Charlie,” written by Alice Oseman, begins with two early teen boys stealing wine from their parents and proceeding to experiment sexually with one another.

“This book was on the stand. I would like to read you a page,” Knox said at the school board meeting, according to a video posted in the Maine Wire.

Knox proceeded to read, “My back over my hips. I asked if he should take his clothes off. He was saying yes before I finished my sentence. He’s pulling off my T-shirt, laughing when I can’t undo his shirt buttons. He’s undoing my belt. Lawmaker Introduces Bill to Jail Publishers for Funneling ‘Sexually Explicit Materials’ to Schools

Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) introduced legislation earlier this month that would jail publishers for providing sexually explicit materials to schools.

“From school board meetings to new representation in local, state, and federal levels, Americans are waking up to the grim reality of woke indoctrination guised as a normal education,” the freshman Florida lawmaker said in a statement earlier this month. . .

A spokesman for Mills provided TheBlaze with a copy of the proposed legislation.

Mills’ bill, H.R. 863, “End the Sexualization of Children in Schools,” would amend Chapter 71 of title 18 of the United States code.

6-Year-Old Student Who Shot Teacher Allegedly Had Violent History, Once Choked Teacher

The 6-year-old student who shot his Virginia teacher last month has a shocking history of violence, including one instance in which he allegedly choked another teacher. . .

Abby Zwerner, the first grade teacher who was shot, has filed a legal notice that informs her school district that she plans to sue over the incident that nearly killed her.

That notice revealed shocking incidents the troubled 6-year-old student had with his classmates and other staff at Richneck Elementary School.

According to the notice, the student had a history of cursing teachers and students, once tried to whip his fellow students with a belt, and even choked another teacher “until she couldn’t breathe,” the Associated Press reported. And the day before the shooting, he allegedly destroyed Zwerner’s cellphone.

Dress Code Pondered in Light of Trans Teacher’s Disgusting Attire; Tucker Carlson Hammers the Insanity

Kerry Lemieux is free to skydive with Z-cup plastic breasts in 2023, but will the Halton District School Board’s decision to create a dress code prevent the trans shop teacher from wearing the controversial attire that has put [him] in the spotlight.

In a major reversal that could possibly prevent Lemieux from wearing giant prosthetic breasts, the HDSB on Jan. 3 directed staff to develop a “professional standards of dress” policy.

Since September, Lemieux has taught at Oakville Trafalgar High School, wearing extra-large, retail-purchased breasts with artificial nipples under a tight top, along with flex shorts and a blonde wig. While many students and parents have expressed concern this actually mocks women and makes a mockery of the education experience, the board has supported the teacher’s right to dress in this manner. . .

“Be it resolved that the Director (of Education Curtis Ennis) develop a professionalism policy which outlines the HDSB’s expectations of all staff members, including the requirement to maintain appropriate and professional standards of dress and decorum in the classroom,” said the unanimous motion.

This report is expected to be completed by next month. Until then, Lemieux is free to dress as [he] has been seen in videos and pictures from inside the classroom, hallways, skydiving or more recently walking with a cast boot on a foot that suffered an unknown injury. While the instructor was seen teaching in several other HDSB schools in December, there was no sighting on Monday, the first day students returned to class after the Christmas holidays. Middle School Teacher Overdoses on Fentanyl in Front of Students

A New Jersey middle school teacher is facing charges after he overdosed on fentanyl in front of a classroom of students.

Frank Thompson, 57, an art teacher at Roosevelt Intermediate School, was found unconscious and unresponsive by a school resource in a second-floor classroom after 9:00 a.m. on November 29, according to the Westfield Police Department.

Before the officer arrived, students noticed Thompson was in distress, and a school nurse was treating him.

The officer noticed signs that Thompson was experiencing a drug overdose and administered naloxone hydrochloride, also known as Narcan, which he carries on him. The teacher then started showing signs of improvement.
