Actress Stacey Dash Goes off on BET Over Their Criticism of Her Answer to Oscar’s Boycott

By Mark Judge. Actress Stacey Dash is responding to Black Entertainment Television, which criticized Dash for comments she recently made about the Academy Awards.

After several media outlets and celebrities criticized the 2016 Oscars nominees for being overwhelmingly white, Dash went on Fox & Friends. “I think it’s ludicrous,” Dash, 49, said. “We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET (Black Entertainment Television) and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black.”

After Dash made her comments, Black Entertainment Television posted a photo on Instagram of the actress appearing in the BET show “The Game” . . .

On January 21, Dash took to her blog at Patheos to respond. (Read more from “Actress Stacey Dash Goes off on BET Over Their Criticism of Her Answer to Oscar’s Boycott” HERE)

How BET Lies to Black People

By Stacey Dash. Ever since I said THIS on Fox yesterday, Black Entertainment Television has been throwing shade.

They reminded me — and the rest of America — that I appeared on a show called The Game, which appeared on BET.

I’m thankful for all of the acting jobs I’ve had. But I look forward to the day when people don’t self-segregate based on skin color, while loudly complaining about a segregated society.

That might be hard for the people at BET to understand, especially after I read this quote from a BET exec about the Oscars:

“It would be great if the Oscar nominees represented even closely the percentage of moviegoers who are of different ethnicities, but they don’t,” said Stephen Hill . . .

Oscars are awarded to the actors and actresses who excel… not the audience. (Read more from “How BET Lies to Black People” HERE)

Students Boycott High School’s Required Racial Identity Day

At least one thousand students skipped New Trier High School’s mandatory day of “racial identity” classes on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The suburban Chicago high school, which ranks among the top public high schools in the country, held class on the public holiday, and scheduled seminars on “systemic racism” that sought to increase students’ awareness “of their own racial identities and the identities of others” . . .

One parent, whose daughter is biracial, told Breitbart News that her daughter had deliberately avoided the program for fear of being singled out and forced to define herself by her skin color . . .

Though she generally disapproved of missing school, she allowed her daughter to skip the day. “I felt bad for her…I’ve never felt race has been a factor in our lives,” she said.

“It’s one thing to study Dr. King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech,” she added. “But to talk about feeling guilty because you are white?…These kids today are so far beyond it. It’s like they don’t see color.” The district’s program, she said, is “going backwards.” (Read more from “Students Boycott High School’s Required Racial Identity Day” HERE)

50% Say Race Relations in America Getting Worse

Confidence in race relations in America continues to fall, with hopes for the future at their lowest level yet.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 50% of American Adults now think race relations in this country are getting worse, up from 44% a year ago and 30% as recently as January 2014. Only 20% believe race relations are getting better, a new low that compares to 38% five years ago. Twenty-six percent (26%) say race relations are staying about the same.

Only 18% rate race relations in America today as good or excellent, unchanged from last year at this time but down from 34% two years ago. Thirty-three percent (33%) now consider race relations poor, up from 15% in 2011 and 29% last January.

Interestingly, unlike most questions related to race, there isn’t a wide difference of opinion on these questions between blacks and whites. Other minority Americans are the least pessimistic.

But blacks are much more likely than whites and other minorities to believe the United States is headed in the right direction. (Read more from “50% Say Race Relations in America Getting Worse” HERE)

Connecticut Police Officer Who Reported Racist Letter Wrote It

A former Bridgeport police officer who claimed someone left a racist memo on police letterhead in his mailbox at headquarters in February admitted to writing the letter himself and has been charged with filing a false report, according to police.

Former Officer Clive Higgins reported that he found a racist hate letter in his police mailbox the morning of Monday, Feb. 9 and feared for his life because of it.

The letter, printed on paper marked with the department’s official letterhead, started off with “WHITE POWER” and went on to say “Officer Clive Higgins doesn’t belong here in this Police Department” and “These Black Officers belong in the toilet.”

A month earlier, Higgins was acquitted in connection with a 2011 police brutality case in which officers were caught on camera beating a suspect at Beardsley Park and shooting him with a stun gun. Two other officers were convicted, but a federal jury found Higgins not guilty . . .

The report of the racist letter prompted the Bridgeport Guardians, a minority officers’ organization, to hold a news conference, calling the letter “racial, insensitive and threatening.” They said it was the most recent of at least three hateful notes to circulate within the department within a year. Missouri Protest: List of Demands Issued to University

Members of the University of Missouri football team raised awareness of the school’s racial turmoil Saturday, joining forces with the student protesters and threatening to boycott football activities until president Tim Wolfe is removed from his position.

The student group leading the protest, Concerned Student 1950, issued its list of demands, which the Columbia Daily Tribune published, to the university last month. It’s unclear if the university has taken steps to adopt any of the proposed changes, or if the striking football players want all of these demands met.

I. We demand that the University of Missouri System President, Tim Wolfe, writes a handwritten apology to the Concerned Student 1-9-5-0 demonstrators and holds a press conference in the Mizzou Student Center reading the letter. In the letter and at the press conference, Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white male privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exist, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-0 demands. We want Tim Wolfe to admit to his gross negligence, allowing his driver to hit one of the demonstrators, consenting to the physical violence of bystanders, and lastly refusing to intervene when Columbia Police Department used excessive force with demonstrators.

II. We demand the immediate removal of Tim Wolfe as UM system president. After his removal a new amendment to UM system policies must be established to have all future UM system president and Chancellor positions be selected by a collective of students, staff, and faculty of diverse backgrounds.

III. We demand that the University of Missouri meets the Legion of Black Collegians’ demands that were presented in 1969 for the betterment of the black community.

Missouri Football Team to Boycott Games Over ‘Racism’

Black players from a US college football team say they will boycott games until their university’s president resigns over what they call his inability to deal with racism . . .

This comes as one university student is continuing a hunger strike over alleged racism in the mainly white college.

In a statement, the group of black players said: “The athletes of colour on the University of Missouri football team truly believe ‘injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere’.

“We will no longer participate in any football-related activities until President Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalised students’ experience.”

The athletes said they were joining other protest groups at the 35,000 campus. Activists have long complained about what they describe as racial slur and white favouritism. (Read more from “Missouri Football Team to Boycott Games Over ‘Racism'” HERE)

Watch: Terrified White Students Barricade Themselves in Classroom as Hundreds of Black Activists Violently Demand This

The nonsensical propaganda that blacks cannot be racists should be clear to anyone. People of a variety of ethnicities can be racists. However, a recent video that was captured by a student in South Africa demonstrates that there are out of control blacks there just as we have seen here in the States. In fact, in the video below, you see a class or white students barricading themselves in the classroom as racist black activists demand they get out or they will be killed.

According to the post, which appeared on SA News Facebook page:

Terrified White Students Barricade Themselves in Classroom from Hundreds of “activated” Racist Blacks shouting “All white people get out or else we will kill you” – guess the blacks got the message when the President of the country, Zuma, sings “Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer” on a public podium…

The video was produced by Cape Town student Anne Landman, which shows a group of white students had barricaded themselves in a classroom against hundreds of black rioters outside and posted on October 20. She explains on her FB page:

“So this happened. I stopped filming before things got out of hand as we were scared they would damage property, which they did. Hundreds of rioters outside those doors,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “People were cornered and taunted. Some of our students were beaten up for trying to keep the doors closed. The doors are now broken. They stormed in with balaclavas on, shouting horrible things in our direction.” (Read more from “Terrified White Students Barricade Themselves in Classroom as Hundreds of Black Activists Violently Demand This” HERE)

Now the POW/MIA Flag Is Under Fire as a Symbol of Racist Hate

18524756-mmmainAn opinion piece decrying the POW/MIA flag as “racist” has sparked sharp backlash online.

The Washington Spectator published columnist Rick Perlstein’s piece “The Story of the Other Racist Flag” on Monday. It was later republished by Newsweek.

“You know that racist flag?” Perlstein writes. “The one that supposedly honors history but actually spreads a pernicious myth? And is useful only to venal right-wing politicians who wish to exploit hatred by calling it heritage? It’s past time to pull it down”. . .

These excerpts from the piece outline his argument:

“Richard Nixon invented the cult of the ‘POW/MIA’ in order to justify the carnage in Vietnam in a way that rendered the United States as its sole victim.

“Downed pilots whose bodies were not recovered…had once been classified ‘Killed in Action/Body Unrecovered.’ During the Nixon years, the Pentagon moved them into a newly invented ‘Missing in Action’ column. That proved convenient, for, after years of playing down the existence of American prisoners in Vietnam, in 1969, the new president suddenly decided to play them up.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Deemed Racist

Oh the times we live in where food can be deemed racist. In a move Oprah would be proud of, Principal Verenice Gutierrez, of the Harvey Scott K-8 School in Portland, has labeled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as racist.

Apparently, in a move distinguished by the superintendant of the school, an effort was made to, “improve education for students of color.”

Tell me, how does the lunch selection improve the implementation of education?

This is so far beyond politically correct it’s dumfounding. Gutierrez has determined that the fact that the PB&J is on bread, it leads to cultural sensitivity . . .

The principal states that certain students that belong to minorities, take for example, “Somali or Hispanic students,” may not have culturally eaten bread, but instead used things like torta, or pitas. (Read more from “Peanut Butter and Jelly Deemed Racist” HERE)

Walmart Brawling Mom Brags About 6-Year-Old Joining Violent Fight; Because RACISM! [+video]

The “mom-of-the-year” involved in a brawl with a fellow shopper in a motorized chair inside an Indiana Walmart has spoken out.

And not only does the woman justify her actions, saying she was reacting to a racial comment the shopper made toward a store employee, but she defends the role of her 6-year-old son in the fight, The Blaze reported.

Appearing on the “Smiley Morning Show” on WZPL, in Greenfield, Ind., a person who identified herself as “Amber” claimed to be the mom seen in a video that has since gone viral, and said the incident all began when the other shopper used the n-word.

“(The woman) was sitting there yelling at an employee at Walmart, and she was telling her that she was a n***** and that she was going to get out of the chair and whoop her a**,” Amber said . . .

As for her son, who actually participated in the fight by kicking the other woman in the head and throwing shampoo bottles at her, Amber saw nothing wrong with his behavior. (Read more from “Walmart Brawling Mom Brags About 6-Year-Old Joining Violent Fight; Because RACISM!” HERE)
